Hastings Street, Sunnydale

October 31, 1997

The battle between Slayer and vampire was still going strong, when Faith managed to shatter one of Spike's kneecaps with a well-timed kick. She then threw a stake at his chest. Thanks to being distracted by the injury, he was too late to grab it in mid-flight.

"Oh! Bloody hell!" Spike said in horror, before exploding into dust.

"So long, blondie," Faith said with a grin on her face, before resuming the hunt for her sister.

Over at Buffy's house, Willow quickly told Angel what was going on and how they needed to stop Xander from hurting anyone else. Angel sighed to himself, he would have much rather preferred to stay here with Buffy...

Still. As he left the house, Willow headed off to Sunnydale High to find Giles…

And oddly enough Cordy decided to follow the ghost girl, dragging Buffy along with her. Anything beat being stuck alone in 1630 Revello Drive with the freak, in Miss Chase's mind.

Elsewhere, Harry arrived with Dawn at the motel that he'd been staying at. Dawn came to and was about to scream, when Harry covered her mouth with his hand.

"Please don't yell. I'm not going to hurt you, or the Slayer," Harry said to her, as he removed his hand from her mouth.

"You tried to kill us, you damn vampire!"

Harry sighed and briefly mentioned how there was two of him, now. From the look on her face, Dawn obviously didn't get what was really going on here, the whole Good and Evil Twin thing. So Harry used magic on the TV to show her. Which was a lot better than telling it all, right from the beginning….

Elsewhere, Willow, Buffy and Cordelia arrived at the school, more or less in one piece. Giles stopped reading as Willow, Buffy and Cordy burst in through the doors. "What the devil..."

Giles could not help noticing that Buffy was acting weird, wandering around the library with a dazed look on her face. But he listened as Willow and Cordelia explained what was going on. The Watcher grew more and more horrified, the more the girls told him what was up...

No one in the library had any idea that both Regime Superman and Zod were blasting laser beams from their eyes at each other, in outer space. Creating a lot of damage to the Moon's surface, actually.

Giles removed his glasses, rubbing his eyes. Then he sighed after seeing Lady Buffy wander off into the stacks. "Good Lord..."

"We need another Slayer, this one's useless," Cordy said acerbically, while reading through a big tome.

"I hate to admit it, but she's right," Willow nodded, cursing her inability to touch anything.

"Yes, I suppose; but then if wishes were horses, I'd have cleaned up at the race track last week," Giles told them, while putting another book on the table. "Let's focus; Xander must be stopped before any more damage can be done. And we must find this person or whatever is behind this chaos magic."

Outside of the school, Snyder was headed for his car, wanting to go home and lock the doors behind him. "This isn't right, this isn't fair..." he muttered to himself in fear.

Too bad for him how a group of high school students dressed as Ghost Face came out of nowhere, and attacked him. Stabbing Snyder to death with their knives.

To be honest, no one was really going to miss the asshole anyway…

Angel was on his way to find Xander, and stop him if need be. Before he even got a chance to find him, though, the vampire ran into some trouble himself. { Aw, no... }

An ice demon that was turning anyone and anything to ice.
