Chapter 11: Feel the pain!

Everybody was up at 12:50A.M at Ice Flower High with the two new girls. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, felt like talking.

Ten minutes later, the group went to the principal.

"Hello, chaosmakers," she said.

"Hello," everyone said weakly.

She went up to Pauline and slapped her down. "Unless you want to be like her, SAY IT LOUDER!"

"HELLO!" everyone said it stronger.

"What's your problem lady?" asked Pauline.

"My problem is that Yoshi here pissed me off yesterday," she said.

"All I did was talk about what might happen to us while we're doing this," said Yoshi.

"And you also was being slick to me!" she said, even madder.

Yoshi was about to say something else but he didn't want to waist his breath.

"She's the one being mad (insane or crazy)," whispered Toad to Peach.

Peach nodded.

The principal went to Rosalina.

"Look. You might be new here but this principal right here in your face doesn't play," said Mrs. Miller.

A lot of people stared at Rosalina but she didn't want to look around to see who.

"Any questions before I get started with the instructions?" she asked.

Yoshi raised his hand.

"What Yoshi!?" asked the principal.

"Why do I have to drive? I mean. Just because I passed my driver's test on the first try doesn't me—"

"SHUT UP AND DRIVE ANNOYING DINOSAUR!" she said.

Yoshi walked up to her.

"Nobody and I mean NOBODY, calls me an annoying dinosaur!" offended Yoshi.

"Get somewhere!" she said, pushing him.

Yoshi got mad by now.

"Now, who's ready to pass out newspapers?" asked Mrs. Miller.

Nobody replied.

She walked up to Mario and slapped him. "WHO'S READY TO PASS OUT NEWSPAPERS!?"

"ME!" everyone said with a more positive voice.

"Mama Mia. She slaps hard," said Mario.

"And if you get on my bad side, I'll slap harder!" said Mrs. Miller.

She walked up to Rosalina and slapped her hard. "Like that."

"I think you're already on your bad side," mumbled Kirby.

"EXCUSE ME!" she yelled in Kirby's face.

"Have you ever heard of a toothbrush and too—" Kirby got cut off by her punching him.

"I was gonna say the same thing," Rosalina thought, "when she got into my face."

"I have heard of those things! And I have them at my house!"

"Then why don't you use them? That's probably why the teachers here always have a short conversation with you and then run away. Even the fattest teachers here run away!" said Kirby.

Almost everybody tried to bite their lips from laughing.

"Why do you do this to people randomly!? They didn't do anything," said Daisy.

"Shut up, flower name," she said.

Daisy rolled her eyes.

"Come on follow me," she said, walking away.

Two minutes later, they were at a van that had 30 seats: 15 seats in each of the two rows.

"Go ahead and get seated except for Pikachu and Yoshi," said the principal. "Yoshi, get in the driver's side and Pikachu get in the passenger's side."

When they opened their doors, it had a bunch of long envelopes. (3,000 to be exact.) She took them and demonstrated to the back how they would trifold the newspaper and horizontally put it in the envelope.

"But where're the newspapers?" asked Koopa.

"Leave that to Yoshi and Pikachu," she answered. "Now, Pikachu, here's a clipboard to where the locations of the newspapers are supposed to be and here are the directions to the Democrat."

"I hope this night will go well," said Diddy.

"I'm pretty sure it won't for all of us," said Donkey.

"It won't for those two," said Bowser, taking up three seats.

"Yep," said Gumball.

"Now you're gonna regret making a bunch of chaos! And you're gonna feel the pain!" she said evilly.

"I think I already regret," said Luigi, a little scared.

"Get going, Annoying Dinosaur and Stupid Pokémon." she said.

"Yes ma'am," they said simultaneously. Yoshi drove off.

"She was treating us like we were nothing back there," said Daisy.

"Is that how mean the principal is?" asked Rosalina.

"Yep," said Peach.

"Turn right on Lee Street," directed Pikachu from the paper. "I mean. What did I do? She called me stupid Pokémon."

"And she purposely punched, slapped or pushed Mario, me, Yoshi, Kirby and Rosalina," said Pauline.

"That right there is child abuse!" said Toad.

"Go to jail lady!" yelled Peach, even though she knew the principal couldn't hear her from how far they were.

Waluigi got out his phone and called 911.

"What the heck do you think you're doing?" asked Wario.

"I'm calling the police on this lady," said Waluigi.

After five minutes of talking to the police, the police wanted to know if they know Yoshi.

"Yes, he is driving for us on this cruel punishment," answered Waluigi. "And you may talk to him."

Luckily, they were at the newspaper place. Waluigi passed up his phone to Yoshi.

"Hello?" he asked.

(TALK) (TALK) (TALK) (TALK)

"No I am not drunk driving nor am I texting while on the road," he answered.

Mario, Luigi, Peach and Daisy bit their lips to prevent from laughing.

(TALK) (TALK) (TALK)

"Where am I? The group and I that go to Ice Flower High are at the newspaper place to serve our punishment."

(TALK) (TALK) (TALK)

"She actually abused us for no reason."

(TALK) (TALK) (TALK) (TALK) (TALK)

"Well, we were having a bunch of fun at the end of the day one day and then we got carried away and started putting a bunch of holes in the walls," lied Yoshi.

(TALK) (TALK) (TALK) (TALK)

"Six thousand dollars!? Just to repair those holes?! We could do something to help get money."

(TALK)

"Well, bake sale, car wash all that easy stuff. Or I could sign up for a job at Publix as a bagger."

(TALK) (TALK) (TALK)

Yoshi gave the phone back to Waluigi. "He said that we all need a job at Publix for after school to raise the money up," he confessed. "And he also said he's arresting the principal."

"Yay!" they all exclaimed.

"But gets freed tomorrow," said Yoshi.

"Aww!" they all said in despair.

"We're already going through a job!" said Daisy.

"Look, Daisy. That's the police, not the principal. We have to do what he said," said Yoshi. "Pikachu, how many papers do we need? It's 1:50A.M."

"Well," said Pikachu looking at his clipboard. "100 people ordered a newspaper but just in case we lose some, let's get 120 newspapers," answered Pikachu.

"God dang!" said Wario. "That's a lot."

Five minutes later, they came back with a tray of newspapers. Each person got five.

"Uh, Yoshi," said Gumball.

"Yeah?" asked Yoshi.

"Look behind you."

Behind him was his first suspect of the night: a man.

"Get out of this parking space and get outta here," said the random man.

Yoshi closed the door. "We're trying to get ready," he shot back.

"I'm going to get my gun," said the man, walking to his car.

Yoshi rushed for the driver's seat and got out of there. Their newspaper punishment just begun.

"Why'd you get out so quick?" asked Luigi.

"Because he said he was going to get his gun," answered Yoshi.

"He was just lying, dude," said Kirby.

"I actually did see something black in his hand," confessed Pikachu.

"Patrick has a gun," said SpongeBob, proudly.

"Yeah, it's a water gun," said Patrick.

"Oh," said Koopa. "I was about to say, 'Don't shoot me.'"

"I'm too young to die!" said Daisy. "Lol!"

After ten minutes the back was relaxing because they packed all their newspapers and threw them up to Yoshi and Pikachu.

(A/n: Every time you see something like "turn right on Stupid Street" that's Pikachu.)

"Turn left on Doo doo head drive."

"What!?" asked Yoshi, almost about to burst out laughing.

"That's my reaction too. But that's what it says." Pikachu shrugged.

(A/n: I'm gonna skip almost all of it.)

-90 newspapers passed out later-

Yoshi sighed. "Only 10 more to go thank god. Okay let's review. What streets did we do so far?"

Pikachu looked down at his clipboard. "We did Doo Doo head Drive, we did—"

Yoshi chucked.

"Who are you? A five year old?" asked Pikachu.

"No, Pikachu, just like you, I'm a freshman in the middle of high school," said Yoshi.

"Whatever," said Pikachu. "We did Rocky Mountain Drive, Brothers Street, Orange Boulevard, Destination Drive, Allen Road, Awesome People Street and all we have to do now is Death Zone Street."

"This street really isn't gonna do what it says, right?" asked Yoshi, in horror.

"That's what it seems like," answered Pikachu

"Let's do it," said Yoshi. "You don't want to be in more trouble than you already are, right?"

"I don't want to listen to that principal say another word," answered Pikachu, "so let's do it."

"Okay," said Yoshi, "which way do we turn? Left or right? And are they asleep back there?"

"Yep," answered Pikachu.

"I'm still awake!" said Mario and Kirby, sounding very awake.

"Okay, guys thanks for not being a lazy person," said Yoshi.

"You're very welcome," replied the two.

"Alright let's get going," said Yoshi, accelerating.

"Turn left."

-Ten more newspapers later-

The group was heading towards Ice Flower High School.

"Okay, that street wasn't what I thought it would do," said Yoshi.

"But what if it does what it says tomorrow night?" asked Pikachu.

"Good point," said Yoshi. "This might be some trick."

"What?" asked Luigi, while everybody was awakening.

"Ah, nothing, just me and Pikachu talking about something kind of important," answered Yoshi.

"Yeah, I can't believe it's only 6:00 o' clock," said Pikachu.

"It all starts off with pushes, punches, screams, slaps, and everything else from the principal," said Yoshi. "What other move will she pull on us?" Yoshi sighed and shook his head.

"For some reason, I think the principal is your 'worst enemy'," said Pikachu.

"I can't believe I got her pissed in two days," said Yoshi. "That's got to be a world record!"

"I actually saw a kid who pissed their principal in less than a minute," said Pikachu.

"Wow!" said Yoshi. When they were at a red light, he leaned over in Pikachu's ear. "Have you noticed that Kirby kind of stares at us with a death glare?"

Pikachu peeked in the back. Kirby was staring at them like some kind of creeper.

Five minutes later, they were at the school.

"Alright everybody. Get out and stretch and all that stuff," said Yoshi.

After stretching for a good half minute, the group walked inside. There was a sign on the door in purple letters saying: IF YOU ARE THE GANG OF NEWSPAPER PEOPLE, YOU MAY GO TO ANY CLASSROOM AND SLEEP UNTIL THE BELL RINGS FOR CLASS!

Sincerely, Mrs. Miller.

"This is about the only time she's nice to us," said Birdo. "Anyone noticed?"

Everyone nodded and walked in.

"IT'S JUST US HAVING A PARTY IN A BIG SCHOOL!" yelled Waluigi at the top of his lungs, running around already.

After a few minutes of running around like freed slaves, they picked where they wanted to go.

9th grade: Mario, Luigi, Wario, Peach, Koopa, Darwin and Gumball.

10th grade: Yoshi, Pikachu, SpongeBob, Patrick, Donkey and Diddy.

11th: Wario, Toad, Kirby, Daisy and Birdo.

12th grade: Rosalina, Pauline and Bowser.

-In 9th grade-

"Aww snap! I feel like a freed slave!" said Mario, pulling three desks together to make a desk bed and jumping on it.

"Wario might need five desks to cover him!" said Luigi.

"Ha-ha!" said Gumball.

"Hey!" said Wario, chasing after Luigi.

"Guys, let's stop hoarse playing and go to sleep," said Darwin, sleeping in the sink.

"Why are you in the sink?" asked Peach.

"Because. Is there a problem?" he answered back.

"No, she means that you're basically sleeping on germs," said Koopa.

"Are ya'll being sarcastic?" asked Darwin.

"No dude, we're being sar-serious," said Gumball.

"Good word," said Koopa.

"Thank you," said Gumball.

"Guys, let's go to sleep," said Mario.

The other six said Okay and they were fast asleep.

-10th grade-

The six were horsing around like some freed dogs. After five minutes of horsing around, the six talked for a few minutes.

"Hey, Pikachu and Yoshi, While we were on the van doing newspapers, I saw Kirby giving ya'll death glares," said Donkey.

"Yeah, me too," said Diddy and SpongeBob.

"Yeah, I—we—know," said Yoshi.

"I don't know what we did for him to get so pissed off," said Pikachu.

"I wonder why," said Patrick.

"Me too," said SpongeBob.

"Well, guys, not trying to be mean but stay out of this for a while," said Yoshi.

"Okay," said Diddy.

"Let's-a go to sleep," said Donkey.

With that, they were fast asleep.

-11th grade-

"Kirby, why aren't you with your buddies?" asked Toad.

"Yeah, they're like the ones you can't let go," said Wario.

"They are my frenemies now," said Kirby. "Toad and Darwin are my bffs now. You okay with that Toad?"

"Why are they your frenemies? They are basically your life," said Daisy.

"Well I don't care," said Kirby.

"What made—"

"I don't want any more questions," said Kirby. "Let's just go to sleep."

The five went to sleep.

-12th grade-

The two new girls were getting annoyed by Bowser's snoring.

"We can barely go to sleep," said Pauline.

"I know," said Rosalina. "These green star bits will hush him a little." She threw a star bit in Bowser's mouth and he hushed.

"Cool, thanks," said Pauline.

"You welcome," replied Rosalina.

The other two went to sleep peacefully.

-Lunch-

"So, Kirby, what's up? Had a good nap?" asked Yoshi when he sat down.

Kirby glared at him, rolled his eyes and kept eating his stuff.

"What's your problem?" asked Pikachu, when he sat down next to Yoshi.

Kirby still ignored them.

"Okay, then, don't talk it out with us then," said Yoshi.

The gang went along with their school day until school was out.

Well, here's the first day of the newspaper job. Those streets, roads, boulevards were just made up. (Of course they were!)
