chapter 11: Tell us the story

When the master had finished his speech and Levy had asked him about a private audience with him and the strange boy, he was happy to apply. He chose Freed because he knew a lot about langues and could therefore help out to understand the book. Lucy because she was Levy's best friend and they worked well together, but also because she could be described as smart. Erza because she was both strong and smart. And Laxus because he was beside him at that moment.

Deep down he knew he chose Erza and Laxus because they where S-class mages and knew how to deal with very complicated mission, And this was exactly that: a very complicated mission. He would join Mira to the team too when she comes but now there is only these people how will know the entire story. These where the one he trusted the most not to tell anyone.

The six mages followed Makarove down to a cellar room under the guild hall. It was a plain room with crimson red walls, no windows and an old chandelier was the only source of light in the room. In the middle of the room was a huge wood table with 30 chairs made of dark brown wood and crimson red velour. The master gestured his chosen ones to sit.

"This is the old council chamber of Fairy Tail," said Makarov, bringing all the attention to him ones more. "It's a sound proof room that was created with the first guild hall. So nothing we say here will be heard by any of the others out side. This is also a secret to a certain degree so don't go around telling the others about this room or it's purpose."

The stern look in the masters eyes toll every one he was in his serious mood: this was more serious than they though apparently.

"Master," started Levy, "there is no need for all this precociousness. Or are there? Is there something we should know?"
The mages looked from the master to levy wandering what this was about. Not that they didn't wanted to be there -who didn't want to be in the room with a person from the future that knew everything about your life- but they were starting to have doubts.

"You can never be to careful about these things," commented Makarov simply. "I didn't know how much you figured out."

"Will you just tell us what's this about?" asked Laxus slightly annoyed, sited at the right for his grand father his face resting on his hand.

"Well children, I'm proud to announce you to be team time travel," said the master with his usual pathetic grin, his 'children' looking at him with questioning eyes. "You," he pointed out,"are going to be the ones to help our guest out. I am trusting you to keep quiet under any circumstances and be ready to fight at any given moment to protect our friend her. Understood?" The master was currently standing on the table making him higher than any of the others. Erza and Laxus nodded in agreement while the four others had a face of pure shock.

"What do you mean team time travel?" said a very frightened Lucy. "Is there something I'm the only one not to get? Why am I here?" She was breathing harshly not realizing that all the eyes were set one the stranger watching carefully how he would react to Lucy's outburst. He didn't seam to be bothered at all just utterly shocked from Makarov.

"Lucy," warned Erza, "this is business of high rank. Don't get to overexcited, this does not mean you are ready to be an S-class mage. It simply means you are going to help out to figure out the puzzle. We, as in Laxus and I, will do all the rest."

"Actually," answered the master, "It's going to be you, Laxus and Mira. I'm including her to the team as fast as I can. So," he continued after sitting down- on the table might I add, "you will be allowed to bother this fellow here as much as you like to get to the bottom of this mystery, but I want you to remember that until further confirmation all knowledge about the future can change it." His eyes made contact with every one to make sure they got his message.

"Are we therefor allowed to ask more than one question about the future, or do we have to use our question to figure out this mystery?" asked Freed.

"You are allowed to ask more than one question concerning the mystery but only one question about your future. Oh and before I forget, this is a mission so you will get payed for your hard work. So now that you know I'll leave you youngster do the work here and I will disappear upstairs to make sure no one gets hurt." He made a giggle before hopping down from the table and vanish down the hall way.

The six people stared at one an other without making a sound. The stare game didn't last long before Laxus exploded.

"So what exactly do we need to know?" he said harshly.

"We could start with our questions or we can stat by letting him tell us everything he knows and that we should know too."

"Not a bad idea Erza. So tell us your story William," said Freed with no emotion what so ever. All eyes were set on William. "So," pushed Erza, "how did you get here?"

"Well," he started, "I'm not sure but if it gives you a hint, before I was just getting home from a mission..."

...

(Flashback) Somewhere in Fiore year x815

"It is highly improper to get into a house and steel a book without permission. Even if it's a request. What on earth were the two of you thinking?! Steeling a book from the biggest and perhaps most well known library of this continent. Have the two of you finally lost your mind?"

Two drenched boys were currently sited under a tree listening to there beloved team mate that had the pleasure of screaming her longs out. William was sitting beside his best friend wandering how he got caught up in this. The worst part was that his friend- that was the master mind behind this stupid idea- was looking at their only female team mate as if she was performing a play. In other words: he didn't give a damn. He was even reading when she was looking the other way. He wanted to hit him and make him understand this was his doing.

William was shivering, couldn't they get inside or find a hotel of a sort, they were going to catch a cold if they stayed out longer. He was wearing an old gray t-shirt and pants he just randomly picked that morning from his beloved friends bag. The jacket he was wearing was an old red coat that his dad used to wear, something precious he said. Oh well, it could have disappeared totally. The remaining from the jacket that he tried to cover his body with was torn everywhere. There were no arms, no pockets, actually it looked more like a poncho than anything else.

"At least pretend your listening," screamed the annoying girl. William just noticed the peacefulness of the place mere seconds ago was because she had stopped talking. "and answer my damn question," she spat in the other boy's face.

"I was listening, I just don't feel like answering," he answered plainly with that boring look he always had when he was trying to prov a point and no body understood or when he was trying to annoy Natalia. And boy did it work, every time.

William felt a bit sour though, his friends cloth were perfectly clean. No torn jacket or t-shirt and no traces of a fight. Just plainly cloth as if there had been watching a movie. Well apart from the fact that he to was soaked, but that was the rain. He wasn't even sure if his friend had fought, after all William was the one that had distracted that stupid dog with two heads. Who had a two headed dog to start with? Oh well, who robed a library? Must be a first.

"William, at least I though you were listening." No he hadn't. Who wanted to listen to boring scream destroying every inch of capacity your brain had. He looked blankly back at the girl with platinum blond hair and dressed up for who know what occasion. "So you weren't listening at all either," she screamed turning around starting on yet an other tirade none of the boys listen to.

William looked blackly back at dimwit with a questioning look, one utterly ignored by a reading idiot. He felt the air beside him and turned to look at his last human team mate, one they all forgot about.

"So what is she actually talking about," he whispered to the black hair new comer. Why couldn't there be an other with strange hair inn there team?

"Seam like you two did something stupid again."

"Really, I didn't know. Have you seen my new jacket?" he asked sarcastic.

"yes, I must say the new fashion is a bit extreme," he answered playfully. "But what's the thing?"

"Oh, we stole a book from a library. I don't think they were planing on being robed."

"No body is planing to be robed, well except from the beast over there."

"We found a request to find a book related to the past, so we went checking it out."

"You were never going to hand it over," said the black haired boy flatly.

"Of course not, it's a family book of a sort. To be honest I have no idea what that book is about."

"... And none of you actually care!" screamed once again the movable hurricane. She was leaning forward reviling both her nearly none exciting cleavage and her upper tight. William nagged the green eyed in the rib and added " stop ogling." The most polite team mate turned crimson and looked down.

"What do you want us to say?" asked Dimwit.

"Nothing, just find some food. I go get some branches to make a fire." with that she stormed out of the clearing with her exceed on her shoulder.

"I'll make sure she doesn't do any thing stupid," said the calmest of them all before running after her.

"As you wish lover boy," shouted Dimwit after him wish earns him a sour look from William.

"At least pretend you don't now it," he scold

"Every one know's it," he just said before handing over the book they stole.

"Why are you giving me this?"

"I'm going hunting. It's more safe here"

...

"After sometime I fell asleep, and when I woke up I was here. End."

"That's it?" asked Erza. "No fighting, no enemies."

"Wait," said Laxus, "your telling us there is no sign on who did this?"

"Well that's what you can conclude from the story. But I am pretty sure I know someone that could be the cause to this."

"That is?" he asked again.

"One of my friends."

"Euh the one who is in love with the girl or the one that gets on her nerves?" asked Lucy. "In matter of fact can you pleas give us names?"

"Well my team from now one is constituted of Silly, the one in love with the girl; Natalia, the girl; Prudence, her exceed; Random annoying little kid, not present at the scenery; Dimwit, the one that annoyed; and me, the broken wheel."

"And there names to all of them?" asked Laxus.

"I just said," he answered blankly. Were these guys really this stupid?

"Oh so I suppose there parent gave them that name?" scold Laxus.

"No..."

"Then tell us there name," he finished.

"Fine. Silly aka Silver, Random annoying little brat aka Zury and Dimwit aka Max. Happy?"

"what are those names?" asked Lucy horrified. "How could any parent call there children that? I mean Zury is that a name, it sounds like food."

"Lucy we are here to figure out how he got here not the names," said Erza sternly.

"Well since we are not getting anywhere with who did it, maybe we could explore the book a bit?" asked Levy taking the book out to place it on the table. "is this the book you and your friend stole?"

"Yes, that's the one."

"Than do you know who it belongs too or who's emblem this is?" she asked turning the book over so he could see the emblem on the back of the book: the blue rose on silver background.

"I'm not sure, but I think the book belonged to a dead person as for the emblem, that is the emblem of the house of Fernandez, you ought to know that."
