A Miko not a Saint
Kagome could no longer stand by and let the actions of her husband's brother pass by. She had villagers cleaning up and burying a daimyo. A freaking daimyo! Sesshomaru had stepped out of line this time, and it had resulted in a death that would not look good for her or her village. Sure, the daimyo himself had stepped out of line but a couple of strong words and she was sure that the man would've swayed and returned to his castle.
"Sesshomaru-sama," she called out. She was pinned with an icy glare and Rin's innocent gaze. Kagome was surprised that the girl did not give her the same look as her lord did. Rin spent enough time with Sesshomaru, to the point where anyone else would've picked up on more manners than third person speech.
"I am asking you to leave right now. Your presence is unwanted currently, and the villagers are quite on edge after your little display."
He didn't seem much in the way of convinced so begrudgingly Kagome resorted to dirtier tricks.
With a sly look, she said; "I'm certain that your actions will bring war down upon our village. At the very least, his family shall demand Rin's head for your actions. I can convince them that you are some crazed demon obsessed with Rin if you leave and do not contact her for a couple of months."
Sesshomaru still did not appear to buy the miko's lies.
"Kagome-dono, please stop this. Rin does not appreciate your actions," begged the eleven year old. Kagome narrowed her eyes.
"Such a sour relationship. Come Rin, you may tell me what the miko has done away from the village."
Despite the fact that Kagome was being blamed by Seshomaru in a passive aggressive way, perhaps even pointing out that she was acting a little childish, Kagome was glad for his leaving. It would help her out immensely.
