The two men had already finished off the entire pizza, and were now sitting quietly, sipping their drinks. For the first time in several weeks, it was actually peaceful. Given their jobs, that was a rare gift. Neither of them wanted to interrupt that, but Hannibal was the one to break the silence.

"Will, where do you intend to go after this?" The question could have two meanings. One of them was not going to be fun to discuss, but the other one was highly unlikely.

"What do you mean?" It was a neutral question, one that wouldn't tick Hannibal off too much. They had already discovered that Hannibal much preferred to be the one asking questions, rather than answering.

"I mean, where do you intend to go once they start to find out where we are?" It was a fair question, one that Will had foreseen. Knowing it was coming somehow didn't help at all in accepting that they couldn't stay there forever. Will sighed and looked out the window.

"Do we really have to leave?"

"Unless you would want to end up in prison again, I would advise against it." Will knew that that made sense, but still, he wanted to stay here forever. Just him, Hannibal, and Teddy. Maybe, it things had been different, it could have happened. Yeah, maybe if Hannibal wasn't a psycho cannibal killer, Will's mind helpfully supplied.

"How would they even find us?" Will was desperate for an excuse to stay. He knew the answer to every question he asked, and yet some part of him was still hoping that maybe, maybe, he would find some reason for them to stay.

"Will, we stole a police car. You think they don't have any tracking systems in them?" Hannibal hated to have to break Will's fantasy of a happy little family, but there was no one else to do it for him.

"Then why did we use a police car in the first place?" Will looked somewhat hurt, as if this was some form of punishment Hannibal was forcing on Will.

"Because I wasn't expecting us to be going that far. Certainly not all the way to New York."

"Expect the unexpected!" Will knew that he was being a little childish. It's not like it was Hannibal's fault- oh. Wait. While Hannibal had a point, Will wasn't going to accept that anytime soon.

"And you failed to mention that there was a traceable car?!" Even though Jack was shouting at his coworker, he was happy. They could find Will before he did anything really bad. They'd have Will back in prison by the end of the week.
