Chapter 11: First Day
Disclaimer: I don't own Teen Wolf
Christina wakes up a whole hour and half earlier than what she had set her alarm for. Since today was the first day of school.
She was no longer a freshman, but a sophomore.
This year would be a new fresh start for her in many ways. It would be the first time since seventh grade that she would be single, and showing up at school without Robert on her arm. Meeting up with Rachel at the lockers was a no go. In fact Christina hoped to avoid Robert and Rachel, and any of their friends today, or the rest of the week. It had been close to a month now and people were still talking about the fight at the carnival, which only solidified the rumor about Junior and her hooking up at the lake house at the beginning of the summer.
She also knew the truth would come out eventually, but right now no matter how many times she denied the rumor happen she couldn't make people see the truth. The only thing she was in control of was herself and her choices, and for the last sixteen years she's made some very good choices. One been the decision not to lose her virginity to Robert.
Ever since she found Robert and Rachel in the basement of her grandmother's Lake House, and cried herself to sleep in Junior's car. She had made a promise to herself that she would never be seen that weak again. Sure Robert was her first serious boyfriend and she loved him, but he wouldn't be the only boyfriend she had, or ever loved. So seeing them at the carnival, or even pictures of them together on social media she had shifted all of her emotions: hurt, bitterness, guilt, and doubt into one emotion. Rage. She wouldn't let them get the satisfaction of seeing her at her lowest.
After a quick shower, she slipped a long sleeve yellow sheer woven shirt over a black boob tube flared dress, and slipped into a pair of black peep toe heels. Her hair falling down perfectly around her heart-shaped face in blonde waves.
Quickly, but skillfully she applies her makeup, and lip-gloss before picking up her black Louis Vuitton purse , she shoved in a spiral notebook and a couple of pens and pencil before going to her jewelry box and slipping on a pair of small silver hoop earrings, and a Two-Tone Sterling Silver Ring with Butterfly design in CZ Stone.
Grabbing her cell phone off of her nightstand, Christina makes her way down hall when she sees Lucas walking out of his room zombie like to the bathroom for his morning shower. Knowing her baby brother is not a morning person Christina gives her brother a feeble smile and a morning nod. Lucas returns the gesture with an annoyed eye roll.
Christina bites back a laugh at her brother, and makes her way downstairs. The sound of the television catches her attention thinking it's her mom, or dad watching television, while feeding her baby sister Ariel. She's surprised when she sees Lizzie in her hello kitty pajama set, standing directly in front of television, blocking Christina's view of the screen.
"Lizzie." Christina called out to her cousin. When Lizzie didn't respond Christina called her once again. Again Lizzie remained silent and unresponsive. It didn't take long for the blonde Fae to realize what was happening. Lizzie was in a fugue state.
In Lizzie fugue state she continued to stare at the news on television about a local abducted missing teenage girl name Sabrina Glasper. Sabrina Glasper picture soon appeared on the screen. She looked to be around the same as Lizzie, with dark auburn hair, and hazel eyes, and a friendly smile.
"Parents of the seventeen year old missing teen says that Sabrina was last seen going to a party with her friends just last night, in the next town over." The female reporter says appearing on the screen. "Her best friend Tara say the last time she saw her friend was when Sabrina dropped her off at home, and then headed home. It's reported that Sabrina's car was found abandon off the side of the rode just blocks away from her home. If you know anything about Sabrina Glasper disappearance please notify the police."
Lizzie snapped out of her fugue state when the screen went black, and went to a commercial. "What the-" Lizzie says taking in her surroundings. "I did I get here?"
"You were in fugue state." Christina said, making her way around the couch and to her confused cousin.
Being relatively new to the supernatural, and a banshee Lizzie hasn't really had a chance to hone her abilities like their moms. The only weird banshee related thing Lizzie has done since she's woken up, and moved to Beacon Hills was, tell them about vampires that soon would be coming to here, and having nightmares of people dying that wasn't even in Beacon Hills.
Still confused Lizzie looks at her cousin. "Is that normal…for being a banshee?"
Christina nods. "Apparently, but only until you get it under control."
Control. That sounded real nice to Lizzie right now. How could she learn to control these stupid powers if she didn't when they were going to decide to work? Pushing those thoughts away until she talked to her aunt Lydia she took in Christina's appearance. "Where are you going?"
Christina chuckled. "School, of course." Spinning on her heels Christina heads towards the kitchen, only to pause and turn to face her cousin. "Well leave as soon as grandma Nat gets her to babysit Ariel."
Looking down at her hello kitty pajamas briefly, before looking back up at cousin. "I don't suppose I couldn't just go like this." She says jokingly.
Christina lips turned up in amusement. "Not unless you want both of our dads to murder every horny teenage boy at school that hits on you."
"I guess you're right…I'll just go hop in the shower, and but some clothes on." With that Lizzie sprints up the stairs as Christina proceeds to the kitchen to find something to eat.
Twenty minutes later the Whittemore home was up and heading towards the kitchen. The first being Lucas dressed in a purple button down shirt, dark blue jeans, and black converse. His straight, short, dark blonde hair styled similar how they dad wore his in high school. Christina and everyone could see Lucas looking more and more like Jackson every day. With the strong bone structure, mostly the angular jawline, and cheekbones, straight nose, and a well-formed mouth. He also got his dad height standing at 5'8 tall that went with his lean, flat-muscled and athletic physique.
Next was Jackson, Lydia, and baby Ariel. Jackson in a royal blue Armani suit, with light blue collar shirt that brought out his normal blue eyes, and matching royal blue tie, and black Armani dress shoes. Today the case he had been working on for the last two weeks was finally going to court.
Lydia was dressed in one of her normal floral patterned flared dress, and black heels. Her strawberry blonde hair flowing freely down her face, as she held and feed Ariel who was dressed in a Ladies My Daddy is Taken Pink and Brown Polka Dotted onesie.
Lizzie came down just as Christina was turning off the stove. "It smells good in here." Lizzie said, taking the offered plate from Lucas. Lizzie had showered and changed into a pair of slim fitting dark blue jeans, and a pink off the shoulder long sleeve shirt, with a drawing of a grey tiger head on it. Her blonde hair is straightened, and parted evenly as it cascades down her face.
Not long after finishing eating up the pancakes, bacon, and eggs, and discarding the dirty dishes into the dishwasher does Lydia mom show up to pick up Ariel and say hey to her family that entire Whittemore household are heading out to work, and school.

"We're here." Christina smiles as she parks her blue 2013 civic Honda in the school parking lot. Her smile falters when her gaze lands on a sleeping Lizzie in the passenger seat. "Lizzie." Christina nudges her cousin awake.
"What?" Lizzie mumbles as she opens her eyes, looking around the packed parking lot. "Oh." Her blue-green eyes landing on Beacon Hills High School stone sign.
"You sure you're up to go to school today?" Lucas asked from the back seat. Today was is first day at the high school, being that he was a freshman all.
Lizzie rolls her eyes. "Of course I am." Grabbing her purse and cell phone she exits the car, not seeing the concern looks from her cousins.
The two siblings share brief look before getting out of the car. "Is she still having nightmares?" Lucas asks throwing a backpack strap over his shoulder.
After shutting the doors and setting the alarm, she turns with a frown towards her brother. "Yeah." With her power to hitch-hike other beings senses Christina has seen flashes of the dreams Lizzie was having late at night when both girls sleeping.
Walking towards the school building the siblings look around the parking lot for any of their friends. Lucas sees some of his friends from the middle school in the parking lot. "See you later." He said before making his way over to his group of friends.
"Bye" Christina mutters under her breath knowing her brother can hear her.
Now alone Christina continues her walk towards the school. She wanted to check up on Lizzie and see if she found everything alright. With hellos, and a few waves to old faces she walked confidently towards the school. Familiar laughter had Christina freezing mid-step, and turning around to see her ex-boyfriend Robert, ex-best friend Rachel, and their group of friends making their way straight for her.
Not really in the mode to argue or get in trouble on the first day of her sophomore year, Christina pivots on her heels and starts to make her way to the school. She took two steps before someone grabbed her wrist tightly.
A second later Todd Adams, Robert best friend appears in front of her. His hold tighten just a little. "You weren't going to say hi. A bit rude don't you think."
"Let go of me Todd." She sneers trying to pull her wrist free only to have Todd hold become tighter. "I warning you."
Todd smiles mischievously "I'm so scared princess." Todd says sarcastically getting laughs from his group of friends. "Your guard dog isn't here to save you now."
Christina eyes scanned her surrounding for any of her pack, or a teacher. When she realize Lucas must be in the school with his friends, and guessing the teachers are getting their classrooms together she turns her attention back to the blond teenage boy. Christina narrowing her gaze on him. "I don't need Junior's help to take an asshat like you down."
Todd smile widen into more of amusement. "Is that so?"
Christina nodded with absolute confidence. "Yeah."
Before Todd or his group of friends could react Christina brought her knee up, slamming it into his stomach. There's oohh's coming from the crowd of bystanders but Christina doesn't care. "I did warn you." She says swinging her arm back ready to deliver the knockout punch, only to have a hand snake around her wrist and stopping her.
Reacting on instinct Christina whirls around prepared to punch whoever this person is trying to stop her, only to have her other wrist captured. "What the hell is going on?"
Christina's head whips up at the sound of Junior's voice. The wolf looks pissed. His eyes intently focusing on the blond boy now kneeling on the ground, holding his stomach.
Junior appearance had her surprised she hadn't heard or sensed him near. Apparently he wasn't the only friend that was suddenly there. Amber was standing on Junior right in white embellished "A" tee, a black patent leather skirt with a blue denim jacket, and black ankle boots. Next to her boyfriend, and Christina oldest guy friend Scotty in grey Ralph Lauren Polo shirt that only seem to compliment his muscular physique, a pair of dark blue jeans, and white/black Adidas. Gone was Scotty's dark brown bushy curls and in their place was a short wavy hairstyle that revealed more of his handsome face.
On Junior's left side, closer to Robert and his group stood Megan, her boyfriend Bobby, and Jared.
The first thing Christina noticed about Megan was that her best friend had also done something new with her hair. She now had brown hair with blonde highlights, and styled in a side braid. Christina guess Megan had done it sometime last night, because when she saw her yesterday even her hair was still its natural brown color. She also thought the new hair color with perfectly with Megan's light tan complexion. Megan was wearing a grey tank top with black trimmings, blue denim shorts, black fringe kimono jacket, and pair of black vans. She also had a few different bracelets on both of her wrist, and a triquetra necklace dangling around her neck.
Bobby who was dressed in a black and white V-neck snake print tee, black jeans, and a pair of all white Jordans, with a plain white/black snapback hat on his head covering up his all-even haircut. Stood closer to Robert and group, patiently waiting for one of them to try to step forward and intervene.
Megan had told him all about the fight at the carnival and how Tony had pushed Christina. With that and dealing with his father this summer Bobby was ready to knock anyone of these dudes out.
Jared wear a plain dark blue V-neck tee, dark blue jeans, and a pair of all black Nikes. His sandy blonde hair cut short around the back and sides, blending into the top which is a jagged cut to give the top layers texture. His hands placed in his pockets as his gaze switch between both Robert and Todd. He just hope he didn't have to intervene while still struggling with his new found strength. Just this morning he smashed his alarm clock, pulled the shower rod out of the wall in his bathroom, and ripped the door off its hinges. Maybe he could compel them all to go on, before things escalated.
Looking back up at Junior who's now looking down at her with those expressive green eyes, she relaxes and lets the anger go. Junior's shoulder soon seems to relax. Junior was wearing a black and blue plaid shirt. It was unbutton to reveal the blue undershirt and his wolf pendent he got from his grandfather when he was younger. He wore a pair of black fitted jeans, and a pair of black/blue high top Adidas. His thick, short, and dark hair perfectly styled with spiked hair up along the front of his head.
"You okay?" Junior asks as he looks her over to see if she hurt. His lips part just enough for a low growl to escape when he released her wrist and see an imprint of Todd's hand.
"Oh shit!" Amber and Scott mutters under their breath at the same time Jared turns his attention towards his friend. He can swear he just heard Junior growl-almost like a wolf.
Before Jared can say or think more on that Robert takes a step forward, only for Bobby to step in front of Robert. "Unless you want to take a nap in the school parking lot, you might want to take a step back."
The small crowd that had been present when Christina had taken down Todd seem to have double in size around the two groups. There was no way a teacher or staff member wouldn't be here shortly.
"This has nothing to do with you Bobby." Robert spits, as he takes a step back.
Bobby chuckles. "I see you took that step back though."
Just about every teen in Beacon Hills knew Bobby had been boxing since he was old enough to throw a punch. His roomed was filled with all kind of mementoes from his boxing competitions. It was one of the rare things Bobby and his dad bonded over.
The anger coming off of Robert and group of friends had Jared and werewolves shoulder tensing up? They were pissed.
As a Megan watched Robert and his group of friend glaring daggers at her friends and boyfriend there was a sharp pain in her temple before everything went silent for brief second. Then she heard it.
"I hate her" The voice of Rachel filled Megan's head. "I hate all of you!"
Megan looks around her to see if anyone else had heard Rachel, but how could they Rachel hadn't open her mouth. Rachel was just standing there looking hatefully at Christina. It didn't take Megan long to realize she had heard her old friend thoughts.
This was her first power and real proof that she was a witch. Megan had to bite down a smile at her discovery. She could read minds.
Turning her gaze on Todd the blonde douchebag that was now standing she focused on him to see if she could read his mind. According to the books she had checked out and the websites she searched concentration, and willpower was the key to honing your witchy abilities.
After moment of focusing on Todd she heard it. His thoughts. "Damnit why'd he have to show up with his band of rejects. I swear one day I'm going to rid the world of Derek Hale Jr, and his group of friends."
Megan quickly pulled back out of Todd's head. He hated them that much he wanted to kill them. She would definitely have to watch and listen to Todd mind more often now.
"We should go." Christina stated. Megan could agree with her more after hearing Rachel and Todd's thought.
"She's right." Megan says taking Bobby hand in hers. "We don't need to start the school year off like this."
"He attacked you!" Junior growled. Amber and Scotty silently agreeing with nods.
"And he got his ass handed to him." Christina countered. "Now let's go inside before something happens, and all hell breaks loose." When it looks like Junior is about to object Christina brings her hands up to cup his face, and stares up into his eyes. "Please." She begs her voice just above a whisper.
Everyone around looking at the two teenagers can agree that the stare between Christina and Junior is more intimate than friendly. It doesn't help when Christina bring her hands down Junior's chest, than arms, and finally intertwining their fingers.
Letting out a frustrated breath, Junior nods. "Okay let's go."
Still hand in hand Christina turns towards the school as students part a pathway for and Junior. Scotty and Amber follow behind, then Bobby and Megan, and taking up the rear is Jared. It isn't until Jared gets to the top step and see Lizzie standing in the school entrance that he freezes.
"Lizzie" Jared said with a raised brow. "What are you doing here?"
Lizzie grins. "Well I go here now."
Jared looks over to see his friends all grinning, and giving him a thumb's up. Apparently everyone knew except him. Lizzie hadn't mention it either as they texted over the summer. Jared couldn't say he was disappointed-in fact the opposite. To have Lizzie at his school for a whole year could be a good thing.
As Jared opens his mouth to say something the first period bell rings. Students from all around starts to scatter like ants to their first class. A student rushing by bumps into Lizzie from behind. If it wasn't for Jared quick reflex he's pretty sure Lizzie would have been on the floor by now.
"You okay?" Jared asked once Lizzie regained her balanced.
"I'm fine." She said looking up at Jared with smile. "Thanks."
"No problem." Jared shrugged nonchalant. "Who's your first period teacher?"
Taking out her schedule from her purse she looks at the sheet of paper. "Algebra 2…Mr. Givens."
Jared previous grin appears on his face again. "Well, what coincidence I have that class too."
"Really" Lizzie asked in a sultry tone as he has ran up Jared shirt, over the hard abs she felt under the shirt. "So I guess you can walk me to class huh, handsome?"
"I guess I am." Jared says placing a hand on Lizzie lower back as he leads her through the crowd of people, and to their math class.

Lucas and his two oldest friends Joshua and Ethan were making their way towards their second period Math class, when Lucas stopped in the doorway.
The scent of peaches and lavender filled his nose. His green eyes scanning the classroom looking for the person with that intoxicating scent.
Then he saw her. Sitting in the middle of aisle, one purple spiral notebook on the desk she occupied. Her face was hidden by long dark brown curls cascading down past her shoulder. She was searching frantically in her black studded backpack, muttering under her breath.
"No...No...I know I brought a pen." Lucas heard her say easily by tuning into his wolf hearing.
"Luke...dude" Joshua said from behind Lucas. "Move." Giving Lucas a shove forward so he and Ethan can get in the class and find a three empty seats in the back. When they realize Lucas hadn't followed them to them to the back.
Instead Lucas had made his way to the middle aisle, taking the empty desk behind the new girl. Tossing his backpack on the desk Lucas takes out two blue ballpoint pens, and his math binder.
"Need a pen?" He ask.
The new girl froze in her seat for a second before twisting her torso around in her seat to face Lucas.
Beautiful. Was Lucas first thought as he laid eyes on the girl in front of him? Lucas gives her a quick run over with his eyes taking her whole appearance into account. Just from that he can see she probably taller than most freshman girls, with a slender athletic frame. Her tan skin, and prefect proportioned cheekbones makes Lucas think maybe her parents are a different race. Her dark brown hair, and tan skin only heighten the color of her brown eyes.
The girls brows furrowed in confusion as she looks down at the offered pen. A soft chuckles from the girl's mouth before he brings her brown eyes up to meet Lucas. Then her lips expand across her face in to a bright smile. She takes the pen with a quick "thank you," before turning back around in her seat.
After he places he backpack on the floor, next to his desk the new girl turns back around. "I'm sorry." She said with another smile on her face. "I forgot my manners…my name is Jessica Summers."
Lucas smiles this time. "Lucas Whittemore."
Jessica laughs before sticking her hand out. "Well it nice to meet you Lucas."
Lucas liked the way his name rolled off her tongue. "Same here Jessica." Lucas say as shakes her hand.
The moment their hands touch a spark off static electricity zaps them both. The wolf buried down within Lucas awakens howling in happiness. The word easily and welcomingly floating up to Lucas's ears. Mine.
And Lucas stopped breathing when he heard does words. The sounds around him vanishing as he stared into Jessica's eyes. He had found her. His mate. Ever since he could understand what a mate was and how they helped a werewolf out he had being praying that he would find his one and only. That what a mate was for a wolf their forever, and same for the mate.
The two had to connect on some type of level that the wolf would recognize this particular person. Lucas was willing to find that connect.
Still lost in each other eyes. Lucas nor Jessica noticed Emily Meyers enter the classroom, looking around till her eyes landed on Jessica staring intensely at Lucas. Jealously and anger had the red-head freshman girl marching her way over to the middle aisle.
Amusement and mischief flashed in Emily's pale blue eyes as she purposeful walked down the aisle, and kick over Jessica's bag, sending her books sliding across the floor.
Lucas and Jessica were snapped back to reality. Looking up at Emily smiling face Lucas cursed under his breathe, before letting go off Jessica's hand. "What the hell Emily?"
Emily places both hands on her hips. The classroom now silent as the students have all eyes on the three teens. "I walk in here looking for my boy-"
"Don't say boyfriend Emily." Lucas cuts her off. "I have never been your boyfriend."
"You kissed me!" The red-head yells accusingly.
Jessica side eyed Lucas, seeing him nod. "Yeah I did…" Lucas sighs, standing up from his seat, and shaking his hands exasperation. "Two freaking years ago because we were playing spin the bottle."
Ever since then Lucas couldn't shake Emily. She had become his on real life stalker.
It's Lucas's friends Joshua and Ethan that started laughing first before the entire classroom erupts into laughter. It isn't until Jessica starts to laugh herself that Emily turns her heated gaze on her. "What are laugh at new girl? She spat, glaring at Jessica with a look of disgust.
The class once again falls silent.
Jessica looked at up at Emily dumbly before she laughed. "Someone who clearly doesn't know when she not wanted."
"Why, you little bitch!"
Enraged Emily's hand comes out of nowhere, aiming straight for Jessica.
Before Lucas could react, Jessica was up on her feet and catching the red-head's hand mid-air. With quick movement Jessica had Emily turned around, and her upper body bent over one of the desk. One side of her face pressed against the desk, her only view is of the wooden door behind the teacher's desk. Trying to pull away is useless seen as Jessica holds one of Emily's arms behind her back. "Listen bitch!" Jessica mutters near her ear. "I don't know what the heck your problem is, but don't come start something I promise you won't finish."
With those finally words Jessica release Emily with a shove. Emily glares at Jessica as she rubs her arm, but remains silent as she moves to the last roll closest to the door.
Jessica takes a few deep breaths before turning around to see Lucas smirking. "What?" She says trying to sound annoyed, but can't help but give the hottest guy in her freshman class a faint smile.
Lucas shakes his head, still smirking before dropping to the floor and picking up as much of Jessica things. "Now you're going to be on Emily's radar." He replies when Jessica herself lowers herself to the ground and collect her things.
Jessica snorts. "I'm not scared of her."
"I know." And he did. As he was watching how Jessica had pinned Emily to the desk, and warned her in a very effortless way. Lucas saw the warrior in her, someone who wasn't easily scared or back down from a challenge. Having been raised around strong and confident women Lucas had always wanted mate like the women in his life, and it seemed like Jessica had those qualities.
"I do hope I don't have any other run in with any other crazy stalker of yours."
Lucas chuckles. "Okay first she's never been my girlfriend. Second what makes you think I had so many girlfriends?"
Jessica laughs this time. Rolling her eyes she replies. "Please you're hot." Placing all of things back in her backpack, she stands. "I'm sure you've had many girlfriends."
She wasn't wrong and Lucas knows that in middle school he had a different girl very month. It wasn't because he knew he could, but because after a while the spark died out, or the girl begun to get clingy, and keeping Kayla prediction from two years ago tell him he would meet his mate in high school, he had to end it.
Shrugging his shoulders, Lucas replies in a non-caring tone. "Your right." Jessica eyes widen is surprise at his honesty. "In middle school I came off as a player, but let's focus on the most important thing."
Jessica raises an eyebrow at his words. "And what would that be?" she asked curiously as both teens took their seats.
A lopsided grin, revealing his dimples. "You just called me hot."
Rolling her eyes Jessica snort. "And arrogant."
Lucas shakes his head. "Not arrogant…" flashing her a wolfish grin. "Just prideful."
Not a moment later does the tardy bell ring, and the teacher walks in.
Jessica turns around to face the front of the class. Not a second later does she feel the heat from Lucas's body on her back as he leans over his desk and whispers in her ear? "Just so you know…I think you're pretty hot too."
Satisfied seeing a blush creep up his mate face, Lucas sits back in his seat with a faint smile on his face as the teacher begins starts class.

World History. That was Megan's fourth period class.
She hates history.
Walking into her History class, Megan finds Christina already seated in the back off the class and looking pissed off at something in the front of the classroom.
Following her friend gaze to the front of the class she see them. Robert and Rachel. Robert is sitting in the second desk on the first row near the window, and Rachel was sitting on his lap making out with each other. Not pg-13 making out, but full on rated X making out. The moans, groping, and inappropriate, and unwelcome thoughts coming from the two made Megan's stomach turn.
If there was a con to being able to hear people thoughts, hearing about your ex-bff favorite sexually position, and how she would love to do it in this classroom sometime soon.
As if Rachel could sense her watching the red-head pulled away from the kissing, and meet Megan's disgusted gaze. Then Rachel did something Megan had seen her do multiple girls when she was with a guy caught in the act of some type of sexual act. She smiled and wave to her.
"You chose the wrong bff to backup, bitch!" Rachel's thought read loud and clear in Megan's head.
Megan opens her mouth to ask Rachel who she was calling a bitch when she remembered it was just Rachel's thoughts, and not her actually saying that out loud.
"Ms. Thomas please find a seat." The male teacher said.
Guessing there was no assigned seating, she quickly took up the empty spot to Christina's left and flashed her friend a dazzling smile. Seconds later, Junior, Jared, and Bobby came walking into class, and taking up the three remaining seats in the back.
"Hey gorgeous." Bobby says before placing a quick kiss on Megan lips, and taking the seat behind her. "Hey Christina."
"Hey Bobby." Christina says mustering up a small, but genuine smile. "How was your summer?"
Bobby shrugs. "Uneventful…nothing like yours."
"Lucky you."
"Do they know they're in class and not a motel?" Jared mutters his face twisted in disgust as he watches the two teens making out at the front of the class. He had took the seat on Christina's right as Junior sit behind her digging in his backpack.
"I think a hotel is more suited for those two." Megan said as she raised a suggestive brow when she said hotel.
And for the first time today Christina laughed.
The sound of Christina laughter, and the tardy bell ringing has Junior's head snapping up, his eyes widen with confusion and curiosity. "What…what did I miss?"
The other four teens snickered to themselves as they all turned their attention to the teacher, ignoring Junior as he keeps asking them what was so funny.
Fifteen minutes into the class Megan had drifted off to sleep. The same old dream she had for the last few months played out under her closed eye lids. The faces of her attacker, dad, and the dead woman at the bottom of the stairs still blurry. The only thing new about the dream was what happen after he mom opened the front door.
Megan's mom Karlie screamed as the blurry face man lunged himself at them. A four or five year old Megan panics, throw her hands up, palms facing the attacker as they began to turn a blush pink color, before she released an eggshell white colored luminous-but transparent kinetic energy blast, causing a ripple through the air when she blasted the man.
The energy blasted hit the man with great concussive force, knocking him off his feet, and away from her house, into the street. The man made it to his feet a second later before rushing back towards the house.
A second was all Megan's dad need before he was standing in front and blocking the man attack. Delivering a punch to the attacker, her dad blurred face peered over his shoulder at them. "Go!" her dad yelled.
Once again Megan found herself being carried through the house by her mom, and into the kitchen. She could hear the fighting going on. Yelling and growling and furniture being broken. "It's going to be okay baby, I promise." Her mom said as she pulled open the back door in the kitchen, leading to the back yard.
Stepping outside, Karlie puts Megan down, only to take her hand a second later. "Come on, baby." Karlie says as she pulls Megan behind her as the run around the house where the car is located.
Megan head bumped off of her mom leg, when Karlie comes to a standstill.
"Well…isn't this a surprise."
Megan peers her head around her mom leg to see a female staring at them, with her hands on her hip.
The woman face wasn't blurred either. She had shoulder length golden blonde hair, and deep jaded color green eyes, and round face, and a pale complexion. Behind her stood two little kids.
A boy with blond hair, whiskey color brown eyes, a pale complexion. The other child was a girl. She had light brown hair, dark green eyes, and a pale complexion. They were no older than, if not the same age as Megan.
"Grace!" Karlie sneers. "Why are you do this?"
Megan can see the woman lips form a dark smile as she raise her hand towards the sky. The reveal of her witch's mark exposed for Megan and her mom to see. The mark was an inverted Pentagram to which a Goat Head with human male features is placed in the middle .It is then encased in a circle as in a Pentacle.
The clear blue sky soon become dark, and gray as clouds form above and lighten flashes through the clouds, and the thunder booms. "I wanted real power and your future mother-in-law had that power." Grace then smiles at Megan before looking back at Karlie. "And my daughter will have sweet Megan's powers."
Megan felt her mom tense up. "Over my dead body."
Grace smiled. "As you wish."
As Grace brings her hand down in one swift motion, a bolt of lighten from out of the clouds and coming straight from Megan and her mom.
Megan eyes snaps open as she shoots up in her desk. The sound of the bell, and students shuffling their things in the backpacks lets her know it time for lunch.
"You okay?" Junior and Jared asked hearing the sound of Megan's fast beating heart.
Not trusting her voice right now Megan nod. Clearing her throat she replies. "It was just a nightmare." Throwing her things in her backpack she stands at the same time Christina does.
"Let's go eat lunch."
The other four teens agreed as they made their way out of class, and to the cafeteria. Where Amber, Scotty, Lucas, and Lizzie will be waiting for them.

As Christina was walking down the halls of her school for the first time she wasn't angry. That was all do to her fifth period elective class, dance. Sure Rachel was in her dance class, and one or two of the girlfriends of the boys Junior had fought at the carnival was there too, sending dirty looks from across the room.
Each time they would look over at Christina and her friends- Amber, and Megan would mirror their dirty looks back at them. One time Christina could have sworn she heard Amber growl at one of the girls.
Ms. Daniels the dance teacher oblivious to the tension between the six out of eight girls in her class had them all come together and talk about their first dance performance at the Belle- Charity Ball in the middle of December. December was four in a half months away. Last year they had performed at the ball they had did a contemporary dance to the Passengers - Let her go. It was beautiful and was given a standing ovation by the crowd.
Ms. Daniels also told them they need at least four more dancers, and how tryouts would began next week after school. Being that Amber and Christina were co-captains they would have to make the final decisions. With that title kicking Rachel off the team would be easy, but both girls knew Rachel could dance her ass off. It's actually the only time Christina can recall in the past two years when Rachel and Amber got along.
After the announcements, the girls spent the rest of fifth period stretching, talking, and dancing until the bell rung.
She sensed him before she saw him. He was leaning up against the locker in the hallway. When Junior saw her coming closer he pushed himself off the locker, and met her halfway.
"Hey" Christina said with a smile. "What are you doing?"
Junior gave her a wolfish grin. "Waiting on you." Before Christina could respond she was pulled inside of an empty class room. The moment she heard the door close her back was pressed against the wall, and Junior's lips on hers.
Instantly she kissed him back, her arms wrapping around his neck. This was the first kiss they had shared all day. Of course if they were an exclusive couple and out to the school she pretty sure they would be kissing every chance that got like every other high school sweetheart.
Not that she and Junior were high school sweethearts.
"Stop thinking so much." Junior's voice was rough and deep as he spoke.
She moaned when Junior's lips moved down to kiss and suck on her neck. No doubt it would be leaving a hickey if he continued. The idea of wearing Junior's hickey on her neck for everyone to see had butterflies fluttering to life in her stomach, along with a shot of arousal from Junior's unusually deeper voice.
Smelling her arousal Junior let loose a growl before returning to her lips for one last lingering kiss. When Junior pulls away Christina's snaps open. She hadn't even realize she had closed them. Looking up at Junior the first thing she sees are his glowing blue eyes.
"I've been wanting to do that all day." Junior proclaimed with huge grin on his face.
She can't help the smile or blush that rose on her face. "And what you couldn't wait till school ended." she said jokingly.
"Nope." Junior answered. "Not when you look this damn beautiful."
The smile and blush seemed to expand even more across the blonde's face if that was possible. Still staring up at the werewolf she could definitely see herself starting falling in love with her best friend. "Starting…Honey, you're already there." A small voice said in the back of her mind.
The bell rings throughout the school signaling that the two teens are late for their sixth period class.
Christina curses under her breath before past Junior, and heading towards the closed door. She stops when she notice Junior not following her. "Don't you have a sixth period class?"
Junior nods. "Journalism, but I can't walk in class like this."
Christina head tilts to the side in confusion as she looks over Junior's body. His eyes were back to the normal green, he wasn't sprouting hair, claws, or teeth. The she saw it. The huge bulge in Junior's jeans. Yeah, he definitely have to wait to that thing goes down.
"Sorry." Christina found herself saying once she brings her eyes back to Junior's face. When the werewolf brows furrow in confusion she elaborates. "Y-You know…" she quickly points at his crotch area, "for that."
Junior shakes his head as he takes a seat in one of the empty desk. "It was worth it." He smiles. "Now go to class…I'll be out in a minute."
With a quick smile and wave Christina takes her leave as she makes her way down the empty hall, and to the choir room.

For Lizzie's first day at Beacon Hills High she can honestly say that she liked it more than she thought she would have.
She really liked that in each class she had at least two or three of her friends in her classes.
And hey the guys weren't bad looking either. One boy in particular popped in Lizzie's mind.
Jared.
She had always had a small crush on the tall, lanky, cute teenage boy, but no longer was Jared that same boy. He was still tall, but with that deep blue V-neck tee he was wearing today she, and every girl that noticed Jared could see the ripped muscles, and his lean muscular arms.
There was one girl in particular that seem to notice Jared. Her name was Emma. She had dark auburn hair that stopped at her shoulders, she was slim, tall, and pretty. Automatically Lizzie disliked the girl. It didn't help that every class she had with Jared, Missy seemed to have those same classes.
So as Lizzie find herself rushing to the bathroom she sent out a quick group text to Christina, Amber, and Megan that if Missy in their seventh period English class that she is in no way to sit next to Jared.
She slides her phone back in her purse Lizzie almost gets trampled by two girls rushing out of the restroom, trying to get to their last class before the tardy bell. She didn't have to worry about herself getting in trouble with her teacher seeing as it was Allison.
Regaining her balance, Lizzie turned around angrily. "Hey, watch it!"
The two girls ignored Lizzie's words as they continued to run down the hallway.
The moment Lizzie steps into the restroom a cold chill runs up her arms, then the lights above flickered. Lizzie wrapped her arms around herself. As she moved towards the restroom counter she stops mid-step when she sees a girl sitting on the counter, her face hidden behind her dark auburn hair. There was soft sobs coming from girl.
The girl was dressed in a dark purple sequin dress, with black heels.
Worried, Lizzie makes her way over to the crying girl. "Hey…" She ducked her head trying to get a view of the girl's face. "Are you okay?" Lizzie instantly rolled her eyes. "Of course you're not okay."
The girl lifts her head giving Lizzie a clear view of her face, and tear filled hazel eyes. "Y-You're talking to me?" She asked tentatively.
Both of Lizzie's brow raised in confusion. "Of course, there's no one else but us two."
The girl smiled, before wiping at her wet eyes. "You can see me?"
The moment the girl smiled Lizzie mind was clouded with images of this morning's news report about a local missing girl.
Lizzie eyes widen. "You're Sabrina Glasper."
It was Sabrina turn to look surprised. "How did you know that? How can you see me when no one else can?"
"Because she's awesome like that." A familiar female voice said from behind Lizzie.
Spinning on her heels Lizzie comes face to face with the best friend Brianna. Well her spirit seeing as how Brianna died a little over a month ago, after being killed by a vampire. The last time she had seen her best friend was in the ghostly plane. It was also where Lizzie first learned about the supernatural, and how Brianna was a slayer.
Lizzie had tried to contact Brianna through her banshee powers, but with the lack of knowledge and skill in her powers she failed to do just that. But here and now Brianna stood in front of her with a huge smile on her face that brighten her blue eyes.
"Miss me?" Brianna asked. She missed her friend and was finally happy that Lizzie could see her instead of her just floating around watching her friend wallow in her suffering.
"How…What…You're here?" A slow but happy smile made it on Lizzie face.
"Okay…" Sabrina jumped down from off the counter. "What and who are you?" Her hazel eyes solely on Brianna.
The smile on Brianna face falters, turning her attention to Sabrina. "Who I am doesn't matter, but what I am is the same thing you are?"
She know it. Deep down Lizzie felt it the moment she realize who Sabrina was. Brianna's words only confirming the feeling within her. "She's a ghost."
"Yes." Brianna nodded.
"What? No I'm not a ghost you can see me!" Sabrina yelled, as she looked between both girls.
"Hey…" Lizzie said holding both of her hands up. "We didn't mean to upset you-"
"No!" Sabrina screamed again, reaching out to capture Lizzie wrist.
The moment Sabrina hand captures the blonde's wrist Lizzie hit with a sudden dizziness before she feels herself being pulled into darkness.
"What the hell?" Brianna mumbles to herself in the now empty restroom.
The moment Sabrina's hand made contact with Lizzie. Brianna notice black and blue smoke like wisps slowly travel up Lizzie's body, while the spirit of Sabrina glowed, then flowed into Lizzie's body and they disappeared.
Where was her friend and the hazel eyed ghost?
As soon as Brianna closed her eyes trying to focus on her friend, she hears the sound of someone walking towards the restroom. Ignoring the sound of approaching footsteps knowing that humans, and other supernatural creatures besides, banshees, mediums, and witches can see her, she keeps her eyes shut.
The sound of the restroom door opens, and then Brianna hears a small intake of breath. Snapping her eyes open wide she's meet with new, but familiar brown eyes, and they were staring directly at her.
After clearing her throat Brianna speaks. "You can see me?"
Stun in fear all Megan can do is nod. She had been sent by Allison-Mrs. McCall her English teacher to see what was taking Lizzie so long in the restroom. Entering the girl's restroom she had expected to find Lizzie probably in one of the stall telling her it was her time of the month, but instead found Lizzie's best friend Brianna, and no sign of Lizzie.
"Aren't you supposed to be dead?" Are the first words out of the teenage witch mouth? And Megan feels guilty the moment the words are spoken.
"I am dead." Brianna replies, folding her arms across her chest. "How can you see me? What are you?"
Megan gapes, her left hand going to her right wrist where her witch's mark hides under her bracelets. "I don't know what you're talking about?"
Brianna rolls her eyes. "Okay, don't tell me, but I have to go find my best friend."
Before Megan could asked what she meant, Brianna had disappeared.

Beacon Hills High School
Allison McCall's Classroom
Megan had returned to her English class, after taking a moment to realize she had seen Brianna's spirit, and communicated with her.
"Did you find her?" Allison asked lowly. She didn't want to disturb the rest of the class as they worked on their first assignment. Having all of the werewolves- besides Lucas in her seventh hour class she knew they could hear the conversation if something wasn't right.
If only she knew how right she was.
Megan shakes her head. "She wasn't in there."
The raise in Allison's heart beat had the three werewolves and the Kresnik popping their heads up towards her and Megan.
Seeing Junior, and Scott head shot up towards the front of the class, Christina leans forward in her chairs to ask what's wrong in Junior's ear. Junior peers over his shoulder at the blonde Fae. "Lizzie missing."
"What?!" Christina shouts, startling the whole class.
Christina, with all eyes on her she plops back down in her seat. Both hands run through her blonde waves as she takes in what Junior had said. Lizzie missing. There had to be an explanation, maybe she was in another fugue banshee state. Closing her eyes Christina calls upon her power to see if she can get a glimpse of where her cousin maybe.
The students all returning to their assignment.
"Anything." Junior ask, having turned half way around in his desk.
After a few more seconds Christina opens her eyes. "Nothing…just pitch black." Her right hand begins to shake with fear.
"Listen…" Junior starts placing one of his hand over Christina's trembling hand. "We'll find her I promise."
As Christina went to open her mouth to reply all three werewolves head turned to towards the windows, all three bolting up from their seats.
Once again the entire class turn to watch them. With everyone attention on the Scotty and the Hale twins, no one notice Jared sitting to Christina's left side with his hands over his ears, and his eyes snapped shut trying to block out the most blood curdling scream he had ever heard.
Standing from her seat as well, Christina looks at the three wolves. "What is it?"
"Lizzie." Junior whispers low enough so that the blonde can hear. "She just screamed."
Christina blows out a huge sigh of relief. So Lizzie was alive, but according to what the three wolves just heard someone might be-or already dead. Turning towards the front of the class her eyes clashing with her godmother's light brown eyes. "Can I be excused Mrs. McCall?"
Allison doesn't even think about it before nodding her head. "Be quick Christina." The true meaning of the phrase not lost on the teen fairy. Hurry up to Lizzie- was what she was really saying.
"Thank you." Christina says sending Allison a grateful smile. As she begins to make her way down the aisle, Junior grabs her arm. "She's somewhere in the woods…" his eyes flickering away from her towards the door briefly, before returning. "And take Lucas with you."
Christina nods, Junior releases her arm. With few and quick strides Christina makes it to the front of the class. Allison gives her a slight nod as she rushes pass her and Megan. When she opens the door she not at all surprised to see Lucas standing in the doorway.
After closing the door the siblings don't take too long before they are running down the hallway and out of the school. It's only when they are outside, with no wondering eyes do Christina grabs a hold of her brother's hand. With her mind filling with images of Lizzie and the woods Christina and Lucas teleports in a beam of light.
