Big Bad Wolf

I wander the woods at night.

Alone.

The warnings of the townspeople

Echoing in my ears.

'It's not safe.'

'You're just a girl.'

To be honest,

I stopped listening

A long time ago.

The woods hold no fear for me.

They are my sanctuary,

My playground,

My home.

And anyway,

What do I have to fear

When the Big Bad Wolf

Walks beside me.

My hands in his fur.
