1Chapter Eleven
Jack sat straight up in his bed. He had had a disturbing dream. He dreamed about Sariah and Elizabeth, some strange men capturing them and taking them to some cave in the jungle. He had heard their screams for help, but could do nothing. He could only watch as some dark figures took them away. It had then turned into many confusing images of waves and caves and faces, mainly Sariah's. He rose shakily and splashed some water on his face. What did it mean? he thought to himself as he walked out on deck. He saw Will leaning on the rail staring at the shore. Jack walked up and stood next to him.
"I had a dream." Will said suddenly. "It was about Elizabeth and Sariah. There was darkness everywhere. I couldn't move at all. They called out to me for help, but I couldn't help them." He hung his head over the rail. "I don't know what it means. It could just be another dream, but I'm not sure this time. It was almost like it was a complete reality. Like I was really there."
Jack stared at him. "I had a dream like that too."
"Then it does mean something!" Will straightened and turned to look at Jack. "They may really be in danger! We have to do something!"
"What can we do?" Jack asked, turning back to look at the docks. "It is the dead of night. We aren't allowed inside the town at this time of night-"
Will grabbed Jack's shoulder. "We don't have to go into the town. Didn't you see? They weren't in the town! They were in the jungle!"
"The only way into the jungle is through the town!" Jack said, wrenching his shoulder from Will's firm grasp. "But-" he stopped an looked at the rocks surrounding the docks. "But there was water in the cave . . ."
Will looked in the direction he was looking. He looked at Jack. "Let's get a boat," he said firmly.
Jack nodded, continuing to stare at a small bunch of rocks piled up against the rock face.
Will struggled with the small row-boat as they slowly moved towards a small illuminated cave Jack had seen. "I don't see why I had to do this!" he grunted as he pulled on the oars.
Jack peered into the darkness around them. "You need the exercise. Keep rowing."
Will scowled at his back as he continued to pull on the heavy oars. "Yeah, right. You're just getting lazy, Monkey Man."
Jack whirled around, nearly capsizing the boat. "I told you not to call me that!" he said dangerously. "Now don't say another word or I'll- I'll-"
"You'll do what Monkey-"
"Don't say it!"
"Or what?" Will smirked. "You'll bite me? You'll hit my head with an oar? You can't hurt me!"
"Yes, but cats can't swim," Jack suddenly said. "Or at least, they don't like water. I'm surprised that you are even letting me take you out onto the water, kitty."
Will looked a little worried. "Um, I- I'm not afraid of the water! Of course not! I can swim." He peered into the dark swirling water beneath the boat. It completely flooded his senses, rendering him powerless. He stared as a frightened kitten would stare at a small pool of water as the dark, wet, slimy ocean surrounded the boat.
Jack carefully took the oars. "I'll row from here on out mate," he said quietly. He watched Will nod, then started rowing himself.

"Get your hands off of me!" Elizabeth shrieked as the short man pulled at the bottom of her dress. She desperately looked to Sariah for help, but Sariah was having to fend off the other three scoundrels. All the two girls had at this point was their teeth, their nails, and their words to keep the disgusting men off of them. Sariah was completely out of ideas besides attacking the men directly, as they were constantly pawing her. If a hand came to close to her mouth or face, she would bite it. If a hand seized her own, she would claw at it. If one of the thugs got directly in front of her, she would kick him as hard as possible. But it was getting harder and harder to do any of these things. They where generally staying away from her hands, teeth and legs, and close to just about everything else.
Elizabeth kicked at the tall man, who had been making what he thought where handsome faces at Sariah. "Hey slimeball, leave her alone!" she scowled ferociously at him. "You're all brave when we are all tied up, but how would you like to face me without these ropes?"
The man walked over to her, rubbing a smarting behind, and slapped her smartly on her cheek. "Shuttup. Yeah, we are cowards, but better to be living cowards than dead heroes, eh?"
Elizabeth flashed her flaming brown eyes at him. "I would rather be a dead hero than a living coward. Everybody would mock me behind my back, instead of laying flowers on my grave. I would rather be honored than scoffed at. And that is what I do sir." She raised her head as regally as she could from her awkward position. "I scoff at you."
The man's face went ugly with rage (it was already ugly, so what he did was nearly an improvement). "How dare ye say that ter me! I could kill ye an yer friend in an instant!" he hissed. "I believe I will kill yer purty friend, just to show ye that ye aren't dealing with men who are afraid to kill."
Sariah bared her teeth at him. "Just try it. I'm harder to kill than I look," she said bravely, staring down the edge of her own sword.
The tall man raised then sword, then let out a shout and dropped it. "AAAH! What's wrong with ye? Yer all blue! Ye just turned blue before my very eyes!"
The big burly man took a step backwards. "She different person!" he (or it) said dumbly.
"She's a god!" screeched the boy. "I've heard of gods! They make themselves look human until threatened, then reveal themselves and kill who ever looks upon them! Run for your lives!" He turned to do so, but was cut short by a tall yellow figure that stepped out of nowhere. He looked up at it in terror, then saw another figure behind him.
Will (he was the tall yellow figure of course) grabbed him by the front of his shirt and flung him back to Jack. He then rushed forward to free the girls. Elizabeth looked on in envy as he made sure to untie Sariah first, then herself second. She immediately leapt up the moment she was free and purposely threw herself into Will's not so eager arms. "Oh Will!" she cried. "I knew you would come to save us! I love you!" She put her arms around his neck and kissed him.
Sariah watched Will without a single shred of jealousy. She loved the idea of Will and Elizabeth. But Will had other ideas. He managed to squirm out of the kiss much sooner then Elizabeth would of let him go. He smiled at Sariah sheepishly, then led Elizabeth to the boat.
Sariah watched them go, realization setting in. She stared at Will's broad furry back as he helped Elizabeth into the boat, then turned breathlessly to look at the four terrified men on the cave's floor. She looked at them in rage as she remembered how horribly they had treated her and Elizabeth. She watched Jack roughly bind the tall man, then take the leviathan stone from the small boy's neck. He turned and handed it to Sariah, who put it around her neck. She started walking around them, taking back everything the men had taken from her. Her spiked necklace, her twin swords, her pretty red hair ribbon, and all of Elizabeth's stuff too.
Jack kicked the tall man onto his stomach. "What should we do with this slime? Drown them in the passage we came in through? Cut their necks right here? Maybe we could hand them from my mast and watch the seagulls pick their eyes out. That would be fun."
Sariah smiled wickedly. "I like the sound of that last one, but I have an even better idea. They can serve on your ship for twenty years, and if they act up, we throw them to the sharks."
"And they can live on small rations. About a fourth of what my normal crew gets," Jack said, getting into Sariah's bloodthirsty mood. "They can sleep out on deck, and if they sleepwalk right into the water, then good riddance!"
Sariah laughed. "Indeed. Good riddance!" she said. She roughly hauled the boy up onto his feet, then pushed him back down. "We are going to need to make more than one trip though," she observed.
Jack nodded. "Will and I can go get another ship while you two guard these cockroaches. We will be right back. Will! Get Elizabeth out of that boat! She is going to stay here!" He stalked over to the boat and helped Elizabeth out. He got into the small rowboat and attempted to row back to the "Black Pearl", but Will was terrified of having to row a boat back all by himself. Jack agreed to letting Elizabeth come along instead, unthinkingly leaving Will with Sariah.
