Supernatural Double Trouble Pt. 1

Chapter 10

~Mess Tent/Becky's POV~

*Yawn*

Boy, I guess I'm still a bit sleepy this morning. Stayed up late last night talking to my friends about the princess challenge. They wouldn't stop talking about how I was the princess and my singing and how I accidentally knocked Justin down from the tower. They were shocked themselves when Chris said Justin was safe yet again but pleased that Heather got the boot. That girl was such a bitch who should have gotten the boot a long time ago but better late than never. Next, the girls began to ask me about my love life and what was going on between Duncan and I. Just hearing them ask that made me blush.

What was I suppose to tell them? Sure I might have a slight crush on the guy, but I don't want to brag about it. I'm a shy girl who doesn't like to be the center of attention. So I told them it is something in the works right now and that's all I'd tell them. Didn't want to talk about it anymore so I quickly changed the subject. We talked a bit longer then logged off after saying goodnight so I could rest up for whatever was to come next. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough sleep for me but I dragged myself out of bed and got ready for the day. Upon entering the tent I almost tripped over my own feet if not for regaining my balance before falling on my face.

"Are you okay Becky?" Harold asked me after seeing my almost fall. Same with everyone else who had looks of concerns on their faces.

"Yeah...*nod* I'm okay just a bit tired this morning." I replied just as Duncan entered the tent.

"Hey Smiley, what's with the funky body position you're in?" He asked me looking at my current position.

My face heated up so I had to cover it while looking away. I heard Duncan chuckle at my reaction and gently grab my chin to bring me to look at him. My blush only increased by his touch and looking at his smile. God could this boy be anymore addicting then he already is? No, no I don't think that's possible, but if it does happen I'll scream like a fangirl.

"Come on now you can tell me." He said.

"Just tired and my body's not fully awake." I said with a shrug. I wanted to get away before my blush spread all over my face making me look like a tomato.

"If you needed help with walking all you had to do was ask." He said smiling.

"What do you me-Whoa!" I began before I was scooped up into Duncan's arms.

"Need a lift?" He asked me.

"D-Duncan! Y-You don't have to do this!" I replied surprised by Duncan's sudden act.

"I want to and besides I kind of like holding you in my arms." He replied making my blush go out of control.

"Aw look Becky's face is red like a strawberry~!" Lindsey pointed out.

"Or a cherry on a hot fudge sundae." Owen added.

"Oh god this is so embaressing." I thought to myself as I covered my face with my hands.

Duncan just chuckled and carried me to the table. He told me to sit tight while he got me some breakfast; but I told him he didn't have to, that I could get it myself. He told me he insisted on getting my tray of food while I relaxed then left.

"Wow it must be nice to be treated just like a princess huh Becky?" Lindsey asked me.

"Its alright, but kind of odd. I've never been treated this way before let alone by a guy." I replied.

"Honey you should enjoy this. There are not many men who would do this sort of thing for us girls." Leshawna told me.

"Hm that's true, but this is like a whole different side of Duncan. I remember when I use to watch the show and when you guys were on the island I saw some of the nice things he did." I explained.

"He's done nice things?" Harold questioned.

"I'll tell you about it later Harold." Leshawna told him.

Duncan soon returns placing a tray of waffles in front of me.

"Here you go Smiley, enjoy." He said taking a seat next to me.

"Wow thanks Duncan this is very sweet of you." I told him.

"Anything for you." He replied with a toothy smile.

I swear I can feel the heat building up on my face.

No joke I'm heating up like a tea kettle.

~Becky's Confession~

"If Duncan does anymore nice things for me, my face is going to be on perminate blush mood. He is just to much of a sweetheart who's treating me like a princess. Wow...is this how people feel when they are in love, true love? *hand to my heart* Am I really in love with Duncan? He is a great guy who's smart, tough, hard working, kind hearted, handsome, a born leader, and good at putting a plan together. *blush* Maybe I do have strong feelings for Duncan, but do I tell him or wait until he makes the first move?"

~Confession Over~

God my face is burning like the hot sand on the beach.

If he does anything else to me right now I'm going to faint.

"So what do you think we'll be doing today?" Harold asked us.

"I don't know, but I'm guessing its going to be insane." I replied.

"Oh you know I just realized something where's Justin?" Lindsey asked looking around.

"Uh oh...I was suppose to help him out of bed since his arms are still in the healing works." Owen said quickly getting up and running out of the tent.

"Justin's arms aren't working?" Lindsey asked.'

"Don't you remember the princess challenge that took place a while back? He climbed up to the tower where I waas and by accident I knocked him over." I explained to her.

"Ohhh~" Lindsey said.

"It shouldn't be much longer now before he can use his arms again. They weren't seriously broken so a few more days and he'll be good as new." Harold explained.

"Big deal the guy's still a jerk who needs to go." Duncan said.

"Good luck with that, that boys as bad as Heather. He's like a tick that won't get off of your skin no matter how hard you try to pull him off you." Leshawna said.

"Actually you can remove a tick with the help o-" Harold began before Duncan cut in.

"Yeah don't really care about that poing dexter." Duncan told him.

Just then, Owen ran in carrying Justin who was still cast up on the arms. Once he set Justin down he leaned up against one of the tables, panting to catch his breathe from the running he did. Justin walked over to the table and took a seat across from me. Nobody spoke a word for a few moments until Lindsey just went ahead and said something.

"Hey Justin how are your arms doing?"

He looked over at Lindsey and said...

"Seriously? You're asking me that? How do they look like they're doing?! I've got to keep them cast up like this until further notice." He told her.

"Do you know how hard it is to do things? I can't do anything without help, and even that stinks. I mean how can I do my hair, brush my teeth, oil my body, or use the bathroom?"

"Uh...well...uh let me see. Uh...hm...oh this is a tough one." Lindsey said as she tried to come up with an answer.

"How do you go to the bathroom without using your hands?" Owen asked back to normal and walking over to us.

"I don't even want to know." I said shivering at the thought.

"Well I could always use a nurse maid to help me out." Justin said giving me his signature smirk.

~Becky's Confession~

*shivers at the thought of being Justin's nurse maid*

~Confession Over~

"I'm going to pass on that offer thank you." I replied shaking my head and hands at him.

Where the hell was Chris when you needed him? Not that anyone really ever wanted him around but now's a good time as any to come out and announce todays challenge. Seriously what's keeping him because he's usually in here by now going on about the challenge.

"Come on baby you know you want me." Justin said with the smirk still on him face.

I shivered at the thought at what he just said and scooted closer to Duncan. He happily welcomed me over by pulling me closer to his chest. My face heated up at the feel of it against his chest. Oh my god his shirt is so soft...*sniff* and it smells just like him. Oh I feel like I'm going to faint.

"I don't get why you have to keep Becky all to yourself." Justin said to Duncan.

"Maybe because you creep her out and are rather annoying." Duncan pointed out.

I wasn't paying much attention to everything else they said because I was so comfy laying against Duncan's chest. If I could I'd stay where I was all day long. I feel myself floating on cloud nine right now. Never had I imagined laying against a mans chest before. This is too good to be true. Unfortunately, I was brought back to reality when Duncan shook me and pointed out Chris' presence.

Sure, now he shows up.

"Good morning everybody~! Hope you're all rested for today's challenge. Its gonna be a real doozy." He told us.

Translation: Be prepared to get your ass whipped into gear.

"For today's challenge yo-Wait, wait I shouldn't give away any details. Just come to Studio 19 to see for yourself what's in store for today. All I can tell you is it's going to be very special if you know what I mean. See you there." He explained before waving goodbye and walking out of the tent.

"Hm...I wonder what's in store for us?" I thought to myself.

"Oh goodie I hope we're getting presents." Lindsey said smiling and clapping.

"I don't think we're getting presents Lindsey. Chris isn't the kind of person who's generous unlike myself." Justin said.

"Since when are you so generous?" Duncan asked him in disbelief.

"Since none of your business." Justin replied.

"Okay, okay I don't wanna listen to you fight so let's all get going and get this challenge over with." Leshawna said standing up and leaving with Harold and Owen behind.

Wasting no time we all made our way down to studio 19.

~Studio 19~

As we walked up to the studio we could hear loud noises being made from the inside. Sounded like power tools and someone cursing in pain. I think it was Chef in there. Wonder what's going on in there? Guess we'll have to wait out here until the door opens and we're allowed to enter.

"What the hell is going on in there?" Leshawna asked.

"Sounds like construction going on. Today's challenge must be a big one that's going to probably be filled with terror and surprises if construction is going on right now." Harold pointed out.

"What about the ghost one? That was big and scary, wasn't it?" Lindsey asked.

"True, it was a rather big and daring challenge; but this next challenge could be twice as big and dangerous as that one." Harold told her.

"He has a point. What if this next challenge is a terrifying, dangerous, deadly, horrifying, scary, and awful one?" Owen questioned shaking like crazy.

~Owen's Confession~

"Ever since that Luigi ghost catching Boo challenge I'm scared of what this next challenge could be. Chris said it was going to be very special. Special! He's never said that about a challenge which can't be good! *pulling his hair* Oh sweet gravy train we're doomed! Doomed! Doomed!"

~Confession Over~

"Easy there big guy don't be afraid." I said trying to comfort Owen.

"Look whatever happens when we go through those doors you have to be brave. If anything goes wrong run straight for the door, never look back, and don't let anything stop you unless someone is in danger. Can you do that?"

Owen although still shaking nodded his head at my request which brought a smile to my face.

"Good to know."

Just then, the door to the studio opened up.

All heads turned in that direction.

"Looks like it's time to go inside." I said.

Into the studio we went, feeling a mixture of fear and excitement build up in my body. I didn't want to think that this challenge could be just as bad as the Luigi challenge or worse; but with what Harold and Owen were saying, my stomach's churning with an unpleasant feeling.

When we stepped inside the studio it's pitch black; there's Chris standing in the middle of the room just waiting for us with a spot light on him. Right now that spot light and the light outside is our only sources of light. Can anyone say this is a creepy scene right now?

"Hello contestants and congrats to all of you for getting this far. We started off with fourteen of you, brought in someone new, and now there's only seven of you left. You all should be proud of yourself for getting to this point; however, to move things along so we can get closer to the final I've decided that two of you are leaving us tonight.

Gasp!

~Leshawna's Confession~

"I can't believe the nerve of that boy! He's going to send two of us to that limousine packing after today? Now that is just harsh. *crosses her arms together.* All I can say is if I go down then I'm brining Justin along with me. No way is he getting into the final."

~Confession Over~

~Duncan's Confession~

"Two of us are getting the boot? Hey so long as one of those people is Justin I'm cool with that. He's creeping Becky out and he's a bigger pain in the ass than Heather. All I can say is he better watch out cause I'm coming for him."

~Confession Over~

~Harold's Confession~

"I guess if two of us have to leave it should be me. Its great to have gotten this far but if anyone should win it should be Leshawna. She deserves to win and I'd give up everything to make her happy."

~Confession Over~

~Becky's Confession~

"This was something I did not see coming. Two of us are leaving tonight and it could be anyone of us. I'm really nervous right now."

~Confession Over~

~Justin's Confession~

"Two of us have to go? *shrug* I'm fine with that so long as Duncan is one of those people. I don't like him hanging around Becky. He doesn't deserve her and I'm going to make sure he doesn't get any closer to her."

~Confession Over~

"Now for this challenge it requires teamwork, patience, and brain power. This challenge is all about the supernatural!" Chris said, with a snap of his fingers the lights came on.

We found ourselves seeing an old library on one side of the room with shelves of books, cob webs, desks, chairs, and more books; and on the other side of the room we see these huge containers with what looks to be wax figurines inside with a description layout board in front and an item. Even the walls on each side resembled that of a library and laboratory. As in boarding on the top and bottom layers of the walls with a dark red color for the library. The laboratory had metal walls with tubes going all over the place from top to bottom and side to side

"As you can the studio has split up two sides for this challenge. One side ofthe room is where you'll do your research on the creatures inside the containers. Learn what they are, what they do, and more importantly, how to defeat them. The other side is where the creatures of the supernatural world are trapped in special containers." Chris explained pointing to each side as he explained.

"Uh sir what are the items on the boards in front of the containers over there?" I asked.

"Glad you asked see the item before each container belongs to the creature inside. It's their source of power that gives them strength and makes them untouchable. Word of advice don't touch or try on any of those items." Chris replied.

"Really? But some of those items look so pretty." Lindsey said.

"Pretty, yes, pretty enough to touch or wear, no." Chris said.

"Is it really a big deal if we just so happen to touch or wear any of that junk?" Duncan asked.

"Actually, it's a Huge deal." Chris replied.

"You see these items were taken from a crazy old gypsy who's studied all her life about the supernatural world and all the beings who live in it."

"And what's that got to do with anything?" Duncan asked.

"Well you see the gypsy was ranting on and on about how these items really did belong to all powerful supernatural creatures. Her family had been collecting them for three or five centuries. They're like creature hunters or something, I wasn't paying much attention at the time. I did catch a few things about how they're very deadly, dangerous, shouldn't be toyed with, and to keep your greedy little hands off of it." Chris explained waving his hand.

"Wait so these items are really cursed with unfortunate doom?" Harold asked making sure he heard right.

And it was at that point that Owen began to freak out.

He was screaming and running around as if he were on fire and trying to put himself out.

Luckily, Chris had a way of making Owen stop; unfortunately, it involved using a frying pan. With a hard smack and a loud wham Owen was on the ground in seconds unconcious. Poor fella, getting knocked out by a frying pan all because these items before the containers might be cursed.

Wait a minute what am I thinking?

If these items really are cursed then we're screwed. Cursed items are something one shouldn't play around with or taken like it's nothing. If you touch or take something that has a curse on it then it sucks to be you. A curse could be something like a mysterious illness or bad luck or even death.

Aw shit we're so screwed.

"Okay now that, that's taken care of let's get this show on the road. All you kiddies have to do is keep those wax figurine creatures in there containers while looking up a weakness." Chris explained.

"That doesn't sound like much of a challenge." Justin said.

"Hate to admit it, but pretty boy's got a point." Duncan pointed out.

"Well we got a little behind this morning so I didn't have much time to come up with a challenge. Just be greatful there's even a challenge at all today. How about this, you each get a creature and there's a time limit to learn what the creatures weakness is. Whoever finds out about their creatures weakness will win the challenge, okay?" Chris explained.

"That could work I guess, but do two people really have to leave tonight?" I questioned.

"Tell you what since this is gonna be a time challenge we'll see just how many of you will be going home based on how long your research time took." Chris replied.

"Yeah I guess that's alright. It's your show so...*shrug*" I reply looking away.

"Thank you now if there's no more complaining or questions you lot may begin the challenge. Good luck and remember don't touch those items." Chris said before walking away leaving us to begin.

We made our way over to the containers to see what we would be working with.

Just like Chris said each container had a different supernatural creature inside.

There was...

A werewolf.

A witch.

A yeti.

A troll.

A vampire.

A tree monster.

And a zombie.

Seven monsters.

Seven of us.

Time to get down and research.

Once we pick which monster we're going to study.

"So how do we choose which creature to study?" I asked.

"We could choose by simply drawing straws." Harold suggested.

"Where are we gonna get straws from?" Lindsey asked.

Wouldn't you know it, Harold pulled out some straws from his pocket.

"Wait a minute, how are pulling straws going to decide who gets which creature?" Justin asked.

"I'll draw a color on them with my markers." Harold replied pulling out markers from his other pocket.

"Way to come prepare during our time of need baby." Leshawna said.

Harold blushed big time and rubbed the back of his neck while chuckling in a nervous tone.

~Harold's Confession~

"Leshawna is such a sweetheart. Giving me compliments and encouragement every now and again. She's the sweetest girl I ever met and I hope she wins."

~Confession Over~

Using the markers, Harold marked each straw a color before holding them in the palm of his hand.

"Okay everyone pick a color." He said.

"Wait which creature stands for which color? I'm confused." Lindsey asked scratching her head.

So Harold told us what each color was then we picked a straw.

Lindsey= Zombie

Owen= Werewolf

Leshawna= Yeti

Duncan= Vampire

Becky= Witch

Harold= Tree Creature

Justin= Troll

Now that we had our creatures we could begin our research. We hurried along to the side where the library stood and began to search for the books we required. It was going to be tricky because there were books all over this side of the room. We had to spread out and just grab a handful of books. The more we had the better chance we had at finding the information we seeked. This was definitely going to be a long research period for all of us.

~Half an Hour Later~

I am so bored right now. I've been searching and reading everything I can find on witches and haven't found a single weakness in these books. When I say that I mean some of the pages have been torn out of the books. I don't know why anyone would do that but I think if it's to piss me off they succeeded in doing so. When I looked at the others they looked to be just as stressed as I was.

Duncan tore a book in half when he got angry.

Leshawna slapped her forehead getting frusterated.

Harold rubbed his templets to try and remain calm.

Lindsey was trying to figure out how to hold the book.

Owen got hungry so he ate a few pages out of the book in front of him.

Justin was having the most difficulty since he couldn't use his hands.

So we were all had problems.

Seeing as how these books weren't much help I decided to go over to my creature and examine it. As I walked over I couldn't help but steal a glance at the item in front of the container. It was a necklace, simple yet very elegant. A dark amethyst stone was in cased by a dark oak boarding, hung in the center while black pearls covered the rest. When I came up to it I found myself caught in its beauty.

It was such a dark and mysterious necklace that was so beautiful. I wanted to touch it, hell I wanted to wear it and see how I looked with it on. However, the no touching rule Chris implied was keeping me from doing so. Yet as I continued to stare at it I got this strange vibe. It was like a message was going into my brain saying to put it on, but I knew I couldn't because that would be breaking the rules. I knew I shouldn't, but it felt like my brain had a whole different idea and was controlling my body.

I found myself reaching out with my right hand for the necklace. One touch that's all I needed to satisfy myself and get the itch off my back. My finger brushed off against the gem sending a cold, electrical sensation up my arm and throughout my body. It felt so spin tingling awesome. I wanted more but knew just touching the gem was enough; but my brain was telling me to put it on to get the full sensation.

~Becky's Confession~

"I don't know what came over me when but it felt like I was in some sort of trance. It was as if the necklace itself was controling me. Telling me to put it on. It was creepy yet all I could think about was the necklace. This must be how people feel when their minds aren't in control."

~Confession Over~

I reached out, grabbed the necklace, strapped it to my neck, and rubbed the gem. It felt so wrong yet so right wearing this. I closed my eyes while rubbing the gem to get the feel of that electrical surge power. This time it was stronger, speeding throughout my body and into my brain making me unleash a bloody scream before blacking out.

~Duncan's POV~

Searing for information on a vampire is total garbage. I know all there is to know about vampires based on old movies. Unlike those so called Twilight films that are pieces of shit. Seriously, sparkling vampires? What the fuck?! (No offence to any Twilight lovers.) All I need to know is vampires hate garlic and holy water and can die when staked through the heart, case closed. I slammed my book and threw it over my shoulder. Wouldn't be needing that anymore now onto more important things.

Suddenly, I heard the sound of a girl screaming bloody mary. My body stopped, I was frozen in shock when I heard it. In fact everyone stopped what they were doing when they heard that scream. Deciding to find out who made that scream I forced my body to stand up and investigate. I walked past the shelves of books making my way over to the other side of the room where I came face to face with a not so friendly sight.

"Aw shit Becky." I said and ran over to her unconcious body that laid on the ground. When I reacheed her I picked her up and held her close to my chest.

"Becky? Becky? Can you hear me Smiley?" I asked her shaking her gently.

She didn't reply which was freaking me out.

The others rushed over and grew concerned when they saw Becky in this state. They began to ask questions, wondering aloud what had happened to her and why she was unconcious. If only I knew then we could do something about this. If Justin wasn't giving me a hard time with blaming me for Becky's state I'd punch him really good in the face.

Then I noticed she had on around her necklace. She wasn't wearing that before so this was kind of bizar, but then a thought came to mind. Was that the object which belonged to the witch statue? I turned my head to the statue and wouldn't you know it, it was the witches item. That means...aw shit she put it on herself but why?

Suddenly, the gem began to glow which was a surprise.

"Wow a glow stone." Lindsey said.

"That''s not a glow stone. That's a real amethyst stone that's glowing for some apparent reason." Leshawna pointed out.

"Oh...isn't that normal?" Lindsey asked.

"No, unless a bright light was reflecting off of the gem which makes it appear glowing. This however is unnatural because this is releasing a strange glow coming from the gem itself." Harold explained.

"Creepy." Owen said.

The glow of the gem began to grow. Sending out this cold vibe too Becky's body that was cold to the touch. I wanted to let her go, but I couldn't do that. Not when something's going on with her and it could be important. So I ignored the cold and held Becky close to my chest. Which got Justin pissed off then he tried to take Becky away from me but thanks to his casted up arms he couldn't even grab her. If I wasn't so concerned about Becky I'd laugh at Justin's failed attempt.

"Maybe if we remove the necklace from her we can stop the glowing and anything else that's happening." Harold suggested.

Deweb might have a point there.

So I tried to rip the necklace off of Becky, but I got shocked which prevented me from touching it.

"Ouch! What the hell it shocked me." I complained shaking my hand.

"It shocked you? Okay now I know something's not right with that thing." Leshawna said getting nervous.

"Maybe if we used something else to pray it off her?" Harold suggested.

"Oh like what? In case you don't notice we haven't got much to work with here Einstein." I told him in an angry tone.

"Not my fault you got shocked touching the cursed necklace." Harold replied sounding angry now.

"How was I suppose to know this thing was really cursed?! I figured Chris was just pulling our leg." I explained.

"Oh then how do you explain Becky's current state right now?" He asked me.

"Yes Duncan, explain what happeened to my sweetheart?" Justin asked butting in.

"First of all, she's not your sweetheart asshole,. Secondly, this has to be part of some sick joke Chris is pulling on us." I replied before continuing.

"Come on these items are all just props Chris found, he made up that story of the gypsy's curse, obviously Becky got shocked by the necklace because it's one of those toy necklaces, so all we have to do is bring her to the medical area and she'll be alright."

"At least I hope she'll be alright" I thought to myself.

I wanted to believe that what I said was true, but another part of me thought that maybe this necklace could be the real deal. That it held a curse and Becky was suffering the consequences. I tried putting it off in the back of my head. Telling myself you're being silly Duncan, there are no such things as curses. Yet this feeling was chewing on the back of my head like some sort of parasite.

"Maybe Duncan's right Harold you know how Chris is with us and these challenges. Maybe we should just take her to get checked out as a precaution?" Leshawna told Harold.

Harold didn't look much convinced or certian about the idea.

He was eyeing the necklace like a hawk does before swooping in to snatch its prey.

Didn't think this was going to be so important, but apparently it is.

"I don't know I just have this funny feeling in my gut that, that necklace is cursed." He said at last.

"Could just as well be mumbo jumbo." Justin added.

"Mumbo? Jumbo? Gumbo!" Owen said rubbing his stomach and licking his lips at the thought of food.

I shook my head that big lug and food.

Never does him any good if food's on his mind before anything else.

"Uh I have a question." Lindsey pipped in.

"Um do necklaces usually make people start to glow? Or float into the air?"

Glow and fl-what the hell is she talking abo-Holy shit!

When I looked back at Becky her whole body was glowing just as the necklace did; and she was begining to float up into the air like she was possessed or a balloon. I grabbed her hand and tried pulling her back down but no luck. She slipped from out of my fingers and kept floating until she was high above us.

"I'm not the only one seeing this right?" Owen asked but nobody replied because we were all staring at Becky.

I don't even know if she realized she was floating above us because her eyes are closed. Even if they were open and she was awake she'd be freaking out and uncertain of what was going on herself.

"What the hell is going on here?" Justin demanded to know.

"I told you that necklace was sending an unnatural vibe and now look at what its done." Harold pointed out being a show off know it all.

"Yeah we get that dummy now how do we stop it?" I asked him.

"We can't stop something we don't know about. We have to wait and see what happens before we do anything to stop it." He explained to me which made me wanna punch him in the face.

Wait and see what happens?

That's his answer?!

Smiley's floating in the air because of some cursed piece of junk and I'm suppose to wait and see what it'll do?!

Hell no!

Luckily, I didn't have to wait very long after all. Actually, scratch that luckily part out. Harold turned my attention back at Smiley who opened her eyes. Only they weren't her normal chocolate brown color. Instead, her entire eyes were glowing purple, and then she moved her arms out to her side, and then she began talking in some language I didn't know what the fuck it was.

And then things got worse when suddenly...

Cliffhanger~!

Sorry guys gotta leave you hanging until the next chapter
