I think I've said it before and I'll say it again; I love Yukina and Kuwabara together. I always liked Kuwabara, he was my second favorite.

Yay for chapter 11, more than half way done.

Troubling Thoughts

"Well it helps that his dick is like the size of a fucking baseball bat."

"That is why you are my favorite person."

He needed sleep. It's been almost a month and he hasn't slept any more than an hour. He couldn't sleep anywhere, it didn't matter where he went, he couldn't sleep without waking up from that dream again. And even if he could somehow get to sleep it wouldn't last long. Ever since he heard them doing….what they were….doing….God, Hiei needed sleep and a way to wipe out his memories….of that….

He heard it when he was staying the night at the Kuwabara House. It was snowing outside and Yukina insisted he stay the night, even though they both knew the snow didn't bother him at all. And honestly he was just going to go to Kurama's house. But they both knew that if Yukina asked for something Hiei did what she wanted. So it was decided and settled; Hiei would stay the night inside in the guest room.

They were so loud that it woke him up from his sleep. And the truth is they weren't really all that loud at all, Hiei just so happened to have extremely good hearing. Extremely very good hearing. What woke him up was a giggle, he knew it was Yukina's. Even though he had never heard her make that kind of laugh, he knew her voice. He wondered what could have made her make that sort of sound so he listened and wondered. And before he knew it the giggles stopped and the moaning started.

By the time Hiei put together Kuwabara's voice, Yukina's voice, moaning and panting it was not something he was happy with. It was too late by the time he added it all up. The thought of the person he loved the most doing….that….with the person he disliked the most….it was too much. The thought of pure Yukina doing that at all was too much.

At first he tried to think that maybe he made a mistake and it wasn't Yukina and it wasn't Kuwabara and they were not doing anything at all, even though Hiei knows he is never wrong. But still maybe he could have been wrong. It could have been Shizuru and someone, maybe she snuck him in. Anything but Yukina and Kuwabara having sex….

But like always, Hiei was right and he knew it.

The next time he saw Kuwabara he had a hard time looking at him without cutting his throat open. But Hiei knew better, Yukina would never allow it. So he did his best to forget but for months now he hasn't been able to sleep without the thought of Kuwabara naked on top of his sister.

Everyone thinks Hiei punched Kuwabara for no reason. But there was a reason.

A damn good one, too.

Stirring Of The Wind

"It's either now or later. If now then I'll deny it to the death. If later I'll be long gone and never admit it."

Kuwabara knew Yukina and Hiei were Brother and Sister. He's known since he watched the tape. When he ran out of his room he wasn't thinking, he admits that. He knew he had no idea where Tarukane's mansion was, he just was already out the front door by the time he realized it. And mainly Yukina was on his mind….

By the time he got home it was night and his Dad was still away on business and Shizuru was gone. He had the house to himself and Yukina was still all he could think about. And then he remembered the video tape in the VSR….He watched it all the way through this time. Well, that answered a few questions. Like why Hiei had been following them and why he was there first by her side. Why he seemed to take what Tarukane did so….personal. Why Hiei even looked at her differently than he did everyone else.

He never asked who else knew. He would figure it out on his own. He knew Koenma knew, which meant Botan knew and she wouldn't let Yusuke watch the video without finishing it, so he probably knew. And Shizuru probably knows, too, knowing his Sister she probably watched the video herself after they all left. Hiei more than likely knows, Kuwabara is sure of it. Kurama probably knows, too, since he and Hiei have known each other for so long.

Wow, that's kind of a lot of people to know a secret….

Sometimes Kuwabara wonders why no one has told him, why he has to figure it out on his own? In all honesty it isn't hard to see. They look alike. Same eyes, basically the same height, and even their hair and skin felt the same. But they even acted the same, had the same way of doing certain things. Like they both always looked so lost sometimes and unsure of what to do with themselves.

It was the little things like those that Kuwabara noticed. He first learned from always watching Yukina. Then once it really hit him that Hiei and Yukina were related-he started to watch Hiei. He still does even now. Sometimes Hiei catches him but neither one of them say anything about it. Deep down Kuwabara thinks he knows why and that's why Hiei never says anything about it….

Kuwabara isn't as dumb as everyone thinks. He's always known Hiei was Yukina's long lost Brother she's been searching for. But then one day she comes to him almost crying and he is ready to fight the world for her. She tells him she has found her Brother, and he's been closer than she thought; it's Hiei. He pretends to be shocked and congratulates her. She jumps and wraps her arms around his waist and he can feel her tears turn to jewels. So he does what he thinks is best and just sits and holds her, letting her cry.

And when she is done she tells him thank you and something else.

"I love you, Kazuma." She tells him.

Future

"It's come to that horrible moment when you realize nothing has gone the way you wanted it to go and it's all caught up with you and it all just sucks."

Never again. It was a bad idea to begin with. Thanksgiving Dinner in Japan was a terrible idea. Who's idea was it anyways? No one would own up to their part they played in it, though. Well it didn't really matter much, everyone was to blame for why the day was ruined and so was that night. It was a bad idea to begin with. Even if Yukina was the one who wanted to do it….

Buying a Turkey itself was the beginning of the trouble. Do you know how expensive a turkey was? And finding one at all was a joke. Fourteen, that's how many specialty poultry stores they went to. Once they finally found the bird it was all almost a waste of time. Kuwabara had to pay double what they wanted for it, and he is ashamed to say that with the money he bought one medium sized turkey he could have probably put a down payment on a car….

And once they got home a new issue raised up. How to cook it? It didn't fit in the oven, just a few centimeters too big all around. By the time Kuwabara shaved off the extra meat to get it to fit they were an hour behind schedule. But then again that worked out, Keiko and Yusuke would be running late. So would Botan. And Kurama called too. And once he thought about it Shizuru wasn't there yet either….

But everything actually went smooth. Yukina was amazing when she cooked, she could make anything taste wonderful. And even if she were to burn something it would still probably taste just as great. That's how talented she was and maybe that's why he agreed to pay so much for a food item he'd never tasted before and probably wouldn't like anyways (no matter if Yukina was the one to cook it). All because she wanted everyone to be together….

Surprisingly enough Hiei was the first to show up. Even more surprising he was that he knocked at the front door and waited, instead of just coming through an open window. He greeted Kuwabara like they were equals and waited to be invited in. He helped Yukina in the kitchen in whatever way he could until the doorbell rang again….

This time it was an obviously buzzed Shizuru holding up an obviously much more buzzed Botan. He didn't have to ask about his Sister, but Botan he wondered. He guessed it was the same problem as Shizuru. Kuwabara was close with his Sister, he's known her his whole life. He knows she's had feeling for Kurama for awhile now, and he can guess by the way Shizuru and Kurama are avoiding each other something has happened….

Thank God Yusuke and Keiko showed up with Koenma next, along with who he recognized as a ferry girl. She introduced herself as Ayame, and Koenma's girlfriend. Ah, so his guess was right. Botan was having boy troubles. And on top of it all now Keiko was obviously upset with Yusuke. He knew better than to say anything though….

And then finally Kurama showed up. Just him, Kuwabara is very glad for that. He was tired of the awkward silence between Ayame and Botan while Shizuru drank more. And Hiei being nice was just plain freaking him out. He isn't sure if he could handle any more drama….

And then just when things can't get any worse dinner is ready and everyone sits down at the table. At least he assumes it's the table, all he can see is the white cloth laid on top and the four legs. All he can see is weird food he's seen on t.v. when he watched an American Movie once. They all join hands and go down the line saying what they are most thankful for. When it gets to Yusuke he must have misunderstood and asks for something….

"I would be thankful if Keiko's pregnancy goes well and she stops having morning sickness." He says with a nod of his head, then he realizes he's spilled the beans to a secret and covers his mouth while Keiko yells and shouts. Then Botan joins along with her and soon Hiei gets tired of waiting and starts to eat-at least he knows the food is safe….

And all Kuwabara can do is sit back and watch it all. He really hopes Yukina will just let it be the two of them….

Health And Healing

"I remember when I was little all it took to make me feel better was a hug and ice cream. I'm so glad that hasn't changed or I would be a really depressed person."

To be honest Kuwabara can't remember the first thought he had about Yukina. He remembers the second thought, though. He remembered that she looked so sad and lost, he wanted to hug her. All she needs is a hug to know everything will be okay and he can be the one to show her that. But he does know the first feeling he had for her was pure love.

All she needs is a hug.

That's what it was. That was the first thought he had when he saw her in person. When she kneeled down and cupped his face in her hands. When she wanted to know if he was hurt anywhere and told him she didn't hate humans and he saw the burned and scarred skin on her arms. And years later, when he saw her entire body, all the scars everywhere. And she still didn't hate humans.

All she needs is a hug. So that's what he did. Instead of loving her in a new way he held her and guarded over her the entire night. He could wait longer, that was never a problem. When morning came and he woke up to her hugging him, she tells all. She tells him everything that was ever done to her, not only from Tarukane but before he captured her. When she was all done he didn't have to say a word, all he could do was hug her.

That's all he can do sometimes, is hug her. He doesn't hold anything against her. And if anything he tries to not think about all that was done to her, and when he does he can't help but hug her. He thinks hugs will make everything better. After all that was the only thing that made everything right when he was little. A hug from the one person he cared for, a hug from his Mother would make him feel better.

So naturally a hug will make her feel better.

But sometimes he thinks that she'll move on, most likely. He thinks all she needs is a hug then she'll feel better and move on. She'll move on past him and continue with her life, after all he can't live forever and certainly not as long as Yukina will live. He's only Human after all. That's what Kuwabara thinks now, sometimes, when he looks at Yukina.

Sometimes he just stares at her, when he watches her it's like he's hypnotized almost. It doesn't matter what she does, everything she does looks so fascinating and interesting. He could sit for hours and watch her. And he usually does. Whether it's cleaning or cooking, maybe reading; it doesn't really matter what. His favorite, though, is to watch her sleep. There is something magical and amazing to it, it's the one time he doesn't want to hug her. Instead he just wants to watch her sleep.

During that time he prays as hard as he can for her to stay. It's the only time that he thinks maybe she won't leave him.

He always wonders if she'll be there when he gets back. It started after the Dark Tournament and it only got worse after she started living with him and his family. All day at school he wondered if she'll be there when he gets home. When he started work that's all he could think about, too, is if she would be there when he got home. When she leaves and says she'll be back shortly, he watches the clock and practically counts the minutes. She's always back on time but he still does it anyways.

He's always asking himself why she is still here and hasn't left him. He's never asked her, he's afraid to really. He is afraid of what she could say, or what she will. If it's something he doesn't want to hear or if she doesn't say anything at all. He thinks that would be the worst. And then one day he catches her staring at him.

She asks him why he is still with her and hasn't left her yet. And then she tells him she's been afraid to ask, she's been afraid of what he could say. What he will say. But he doesn't say anything and instead he just stands there, so unsure of what to say.

And then she walks over to him. She tells him sometimes, when she looks at him, all she wants to do is hug him. He is sure now, she must love him. He hugs her back.

Even though her voice is muffled and he can barely understand her he can still hear her.

She tells him all he needs is a hug.

It's times like now that he thinks she won't leave.

Separation

"We've said everything to each other and now the only thing left is to say goodbye."

Hiei will never tell Yukina. He can't pick one reason why more than the any other one. He thinks that if she were to ever find out he would simply leave and drop off the face of the earth, and never be discovered again in Demon World either. Hiei couldn't stand to see the disappointment and shame on Yukina's face when she found out he was her Brother.

Or maybe if he ever did tell her, or if someone else did; if she were to ever find out….what if she didn't believe him? What if she pointed and laughed? What if she told him he was lying? Or asked him how the two of them could share blood with each other? How could she be related to a monster and murder like him? After all he is the reason why they are both orphans….

And then maybe, what if, she accepted him. What if she didn't hold a thing against him? What if she didn't care? Care that he's killed for fun, hold his gender against him. What if she was just thankful and happy that she found her long lost Brother and she was no longer along? What if she loved Hiei for just simply being alive?

But no matter how she felt, he could never feel right about it. How could he? He has a hard enough time dealing with what little contact he has with her now. He barely makes it back for his 'monthly' reports to her. Surely he couldn't handle any more kind of activities involving her. And plus, he doesn't know how to be a Big Brother anyways….

He remembers talking with her one night. He was running late to tell her he still had no news on her Brother, and to give up on looking for him. He was going to tell her it was all a waste of time and her Brother was more than likely dead. He wanted to tell her all that, but instead all he could do was look down at the ground and tell her still no news….

But instead she invited him in for tea, and how could he have refused her? She told him Genkai is gone for the week and Kazuma hadn't been up to visit, he's very busy studying and doesn't want to distract him from his school work. She laughs just a little bit when she brings him his tea saying how glad she is he is here. She smiles telling him how thankful she is.

"Always risking your life looking for him, putting yourself in danger just to help me find someone who might not even be alive. Thank you Mister Hiei."

"Let me ask you something."

"Of course."

"What do you plan to do if he's dead?"

"Nothing, but at least I'll finally know what became of him." She tells him with a forced smile. "I don't think I could ever be happy until I know what happened to my family.

Fair enough, he thinks. "And assuming he's alive?" Her entire face changed just thinking about it.

"The first thing I would do is hug him. I would try and be the best Sister I could and cook his meals and sew and wash his clothing and make sure he always had a warm place to stay for the night. And I would-"

"What about when you discover his identity and his past was filled with nothing good?"

"I wouldn't mine at all."

"You say that now but can you really mea-"

"I do mean it, Mister Hiei." He was surprised, she either had no fear or was absolutely comfortable around him. "I expect my Brother to have a past like that. It must have been hard for him, a constant fight for survival since he was born. I imagine him to have done cruel things to survive and live on in a cruel world. I can only hope that he has enough pity to forgive me and all the others that have wronged him. I wish, if he is still alive, he could see pass what our people have done to him. But most of all, I beg that he would see me as an individual, as his Sister, and not form an opinion based on the actions from the past."

"I see." That's all he could choke out, it's all he could think of saying.

"I imagine my Brother would be a lot like you, Hiei…."
