I think the only reason

people hold onto memories so tight

is because memories are the only things that dont change;

when everybody else does.

Everyone was in confusion. Komui ran to his desk and called for the nurse to come to his office immediately, and Lenalee was trying to stop the bleeding, though Allen said nothing. He only watched closely at her movements as she tore off a piece of her sleeve and leaned forward to wrap it around his shuddering arm. For a moment, his eyes flashed from his normal pale grey color to a dark red. Allen slapped away her hand and took a step back quickly, "Don't touch me." he warned.

Lenalee looked surprised, "Allen...what's up with you? I need to stop the bleeding, so hold still." She said in a soft tone as she stepped toward him, reaching out with the cloth once more.

Allen narrowed his eyes as he brought forward his claw, cutting the cloth into shreds in a swift movement. Not only was Lenalee surprised, but Allen as well. He looked down at his black talons and then to the concerned Lenalee standing before him. Only then did he notice that everyone else in the room, which was now Lavi and two nurses, was staring at him, "I...I'm" he stopped and then looked at Lenalee, not saying anything. He was wondering what was wrong with him. Why had he done that? She was trying to help him and he turned her down. Allen could feel the liquid blood slowly slide down his arm and to his fingertips. Only then did he feel pain.

There was darkness. Everywhere.

Alya had no idea where she was. Was it another dream?

She felt her body step forward into the darkness, her single footstep echoing loudly around her. She paused, uneasiness consuming her mind before she continued on forward. Every step grew softer, more quiet, but the more quiet it got, the more scared Alya became of her surroundings.

A loud shriek. That was the best way she could describe the faint noise she heard in the distance. She stopped in her tracks, looking in the direction it came from, "Hello..?" she said as more of a whisper.

Silence.

"Hello..?" she called again, louder this time.

After awhile, a small weak voice called back to her...

"A-ly-a" it spoke faintly.

She saw a fast movement in the darkness making her step back quickly, "Whose there?"

Immediately after she spoke, something grabbed her hand and pulled her back, making her trip over her own feet and fall roughly to the ground.

As she sat up, she came face to face with two bright golden eyes wide open in front of her. "Corrupted Madness..." it whispered as it laughed loudly. The voice reflected off of a demon. Something unholy and unreal...

Alya rushed back, trying to get away from whatever it was, but was stopped as the thing reached forward with two long claws, wrapping around her wrist and holding her down against the floor, "Wait." it said.

She began to struggle, but let out a small cry as the sharp claws only dug deeper into her skin.

"Hush..." the voice said. One of its claws was removed from holding her arm down and was against her cheek, brushing down to her chin, "Exorcist begone now...die a bloody death..." It sang.

Alya's eyes shut close as she listened. She had a strange desire to join the creature and sing too, the lyrics repeating over and over again in her mind, 'Lord Millennium is in search of you, looking for the heart now-'

"Have you heard the news?" It giggled as she cut Alya out of her thoughts.

She grinned, "I will find you soon~"

The creature faded into smoke as the tight grasp on her wrist was released. Alya found herself smirking widely as she now stared into the endless void of darkness.

Her eyes shot open to meet a set of liquid gold eyes in front of her. For a moment she was speechless, "T-Tyki?"

His long wavy hair was tied back into a ponytail as he looked down at her, his face incredibly close to her's, "Good morning." He said with a smirk.

Her hands griped the bed sheets tightly as confusion swept over her. She sat up quickly, her head colliding with Tyki's. She let out a small yelp as Tyki stepped back, rubbing his temples, "Take it easy, Alya" he said looking at her, "before you hurt yourself..."

Her eyes narrowed on his, "What are you doing? Where am I?"

He paused, looking at her, "Oh, well you're in the arc; and the answer to what I'm doing here? I am supposed to watch over you." He tilted his head slightly looking at her, "Kind of like your guardian angel." he said with a chuckle.

She crossed her arms, "Well guardian angel Tyki, I'm hungry."

"Don't worry, breakfast will be ready shortly."

"Perfect; I'm starved!" She paused looking at him, "Now get out of my room so I can change."

Tyki looked at her and smirked, "Don't worry, that's already taken care of." he said pulling the covers off of her quickly, "I took the liberty to dress you up."

Alya paused as she looked down to see herself wearing a short, rose patterned, black dress. "You dressed me?" Alya asked in alarm as she climbed out of bed quickly. "You sick perverted man!" She stepped forward and shot her hand out at Tyki, attempting to smack him.

He caught it swiftly and lifted her off the ground by her wrist, "I'm just joking, Alya." he said with a wide smirk, "Road came in awhile ago while you were asleep."
"I hate your teasing, Tyki." She sighed as she looked at him, "Let me go."

"Very well." He said as he dropped her to her feet, "I'm sure breakfast will be a wonderful treat."

-Breakfast-

Alya took her seat next to Road who held a rather large lollipop in her mouth. She noticed that the twins had not yet been seated, but rather run around the room, pretending to be shooting one another.

"Bang! Bang!" Devit yelled over Alya's shoulder as Jasdero stood on the other side of the table, yelling back at him, "Bam! Pow!"

"Would you two shut up already? I can't stand your noise."

Devit laughed as he leaned over to look at her, "Stop acting like an adult, Alya." He said as he stuck out his tongue at her.

Jasdero paused and spoke after his brother, "It's really no fun." He laughed.

She sighed just as Lord Millennium walked in, followed by Tyki. "Sorry to keep all of you waiting." The Earl announced as he took his seat.

As everyone was seated, a group of Akuma walked in. Taking the form of a humans, they began to lay out the basic meal as well as drinks.

Alya paused suddenly, her eyes widening to one of the Akuma. She sat still, not minding her food as she saw a boy that seemed to be of age 13.

A thick black star was indented on his head, his skin a somewhat darkish grey. She stood from her seat, the chair falling to the ground.

"Alya? Is everything alright?" Road asked looking up at her.

She didn't say anything.

"Alya?" the small girl repeated.

Alya's eyes focused to a ball of red hair and green eyes that stood on the other side of the room, "Aron..." she whispered.

People say BAD memories cause the most pain,

but really

it's the GOOD ones

that drive you INSANE
