Madam Chapelier

By: The Mistress~

Aleese was almost ready for her first day as a doctor. She chose an appropriately sexy outfit just for the occasion. Well that and to tease her Hatter a little, but that was just a plus. She grinned as she looked at her barely clothed body in the mirror. With her disguise on she looked like a different person.

She'd managed to fit her copious amount of blonde curls under a wig cap and fitted a straight brunette wig on over it. Her eyes were partially hidden behind a pair of round glasses and she somehow squeezed her chest into a corset. It actually pressed her breast into a smaller size. Well just barely. And the matching panties, stockings, and garter belt were absolutely indecent. The thought of Jervis getting an eyeful of her naughty under things made Aleese purr in satisfaction. She smirked when she spotted the now partially faded hickey Jervis left on her throat the day before. She considered covering it with makeup but decided not to. She liked having love-marks on her from her Hatter. Especially right where people could see them.

After one final once over she went and pulled her long sleeved sweater dress on. It was blue and only came to above her knees. When she chose her outfit she made sure to wear something that hinted at Alice in Wonderland. The blue dress and high heeled Mary-Janes she was slipping her feet into went together perfectly. And the white doctors coat that Dr. Burton told her was waiting for her at the Asylum would be a lovely substitute for Alice's white apron. The pearl stud earrings and necklace were a simple afterthought.

After hastily applying some mascara and pink lipstick Aleese was ready but gave herself a quick glance in the mirror to make sure she wasn't forgetting anything before grabbing her purse. She grinned and thought she looked like the very definition of 'hot doctor'.

When she snatched her purse up and headed for the door it was almost 8 a.m. When she got outside she dropped the envelope with Mr. Hubbards money in it in a nearby mailbox before hailing a cab to take her to Arkham. She grimaced as the portly cabby checked her out in the rear view mirror, and made a mental note to acquire a car as soon as possible.

The cabby paled when she said where she wanted to be taken. He didn't say anything the rest of the drive. Aleese was grateful for the silence and quirked an eyebrow at the Arkham Asylum sign. It read: Do not pick up hitch hikers, they may be escaping mental patients.

For some reason Aleese thought that was funny and chuckled, making the cabby glance at her through the rear view. But soon she was walking up the front steps of Arkham where a older man with wild brown hair and eyes was waiting for her. He smiled at her and beckoned her forward.

"Ah you must be Dr. Delia Mented. I'm Dr. Burton, I'm glad to finally meet you Dr." he said with a smile. Aleese gave him a sweet smile and said, "It's wonderful to meet you as well Dr. Burton, and please just call me Delia~."

Burton led 'Delia' into the lobby and then into the elevator. He escorted her to her new office. noted with a smirk that the name plate on her door said Dr. D. Mented. Dr. Burton didn't notice her smirk and gave her a map of the building and told her which areas were off limits.

They walked into her office and it was empty save for a few file cabinets, a desk and two chairs, a coat rack, and a box of office supplies. Dr. Burton snapped his fingers and said, "Oh Delia, I forgot to bring you your new coat and staff ID. I left them in my office, I'll be right back." He left out of the room, leaving Aleese to her own devices.

Aleese thought that Burton guy was a bit of a rube but didn't dwell on it. After all, it just made manipulating him easier. She looked around the room and soon felt bored so she went and organized the box of office supplies on her desk into drawers before tossing the now empty box into the corner of the room. The bottom drawer on the desk was partially open so she pushed it closed. It popped back open so she opened it to see what was doing that. She blinked when she discovered a large red panic button built into the drawer.

'I guess that's why it doesn't close' she thought idly. Just then Dr. Burton returned with her new coat and ID card. But in his hands was also a relatively large stack of files. He held them up and told her that she would start with the more calm of the Rogue Gallery. He didn't want to overwhelm the poor woman by starting her off with patients like The Joker. He gave her her schedule before bidding her good day. He apparently had his own patients to attend to.

Aleese, or 'Delia' checked her schedule and saw her first 'patient' was supposed to be escorted to her office at 10 a.m. sharp. She had no clue who her patients were so she hefted the pile of folders over to her desk before getting comfortable. There were seven of them. She would be here for a while if she wanted to read them all.

The first file was on a man named Burt Weston. He goes by the alias Film Freak. His file photo was of a man in a black ops style suit with orange lensed goggles on. It said he used to be a wannabe actor but bombed at it so he faked his death. He resurfaced years later and started committing the crimes from famous movies. He would leave film can shaped earrings at the crime scenes and once stalked a woman named Julia Pennyworth like Norman Bates in the movie Psycho. He also killed a lot of innocent people he used to know, plus he killed even more he didn't know.

Aleese didn't really know what to think of the guy. He definitely deserved to be in Arkham though. She picked up her next file but was interrupted from opening when her door opened and a tall black woman stepped inside carrying a small potted plant. It was a leafy shrub with clusters of pink flowers dotted everywhere.

"Hello, I'm Joan Leland. I'm a psychologist here at Arkham. I just wanted to welcome you and give you this little office warming gift." Aleese sat the unread file down and smiled kindly at the new woman. Her first impression of the woman was she was too forgiving and incredibly easy to please. She also seemed too nice to be working with notorious psychopaths who were know manipulators but who was Aleese to judge.

"Oh how lovely, thank you Dr. Leland. I'm Doctor Delia Mented. It's a pleasure to meet you." Aleese took the plant and sat it on the windowsill then turned back to Dr. Leland to shake her hand. They talked for a while and Dr. Leland told her she'd walk with her to the lunch room before she hurried off to her own patients. Once she was gone Aleese sat back down and opened her second file.

It was on a Pamela L. Isley. Her alias is Poison Ivy. The woman in the file photo kind of reminded Aleese of Bo. Only this woman was tanner and was frowning. Plus her hair was wavy and more orange than red. Her file said she was once a very talented botanist but after an unknown incident she started committing numerous crimes and became one of the most dangerous eco-terrorists to date.

It also said she is obsessed with plants, botany, and environmentalism. It also went into detail about her creating love potions. It was also rumored that she has an immunity against all toxins, bacteria, and viruses. But nobody knew for sure but the woman herself.

Aleese was pretty impressed with this woman. She sounded like a force to be reckoned with. And Aleese was curious how Miss Isley would react to her new plant. But she shrugged it off and opened the next file.

The third file was on a mister Harvey Dent who used to be Gothams 'White Knight'. He goes by the alias Two-Face now. She thought it an odd name but shrugged. It said he used to be Gotham Cities heroic and kind-hearted Defense Attorney. But then Sal 'aka Boss' Maroni threw acid in his face, disfiguring him horribly. Aleese looked at his file picture and huffed. She decided his last psychiatrist was a dick.

Admittedly, he was disfigured, but in her opinion it just made him look badass. Not 'horribly disfigured' like the jerk before her wrote. She read more and found out his last psychiatrist also said he was a schizoid criminal-mastermind. Aleese briefly wondered if that was considered a complement. He is also obsessed with the number two. He keeps a "two-headed" silver dollar, he flips it to decide the fates of his victims.

Aleese didn't really have an opinion on Two-Face, she'd have to meet him first before any opinions could be made.

The fourth file had a green question mark on the top left corner. She opened the file and found it was on a man who was aptly dubbed The Riddler. But his real name was Edward Nigma. Aleese chuckled when she realized his first initial and last name combined made E. Nigma. Enigma. 'How very droll.' she thought with a smirk.

His file photo was actually a mugshot. It was a man with bright orange hair, green eyes, and a scowl set firmly on his face. He was wearing a purple mask and was sporting a few bumps and bruises.

His file went on to say he was obsessed with riddles, puzzles, word games, and the color green. He is never seen committing a crime without a green costume, purple domino mask, and his signature gold question mark cane. He has a genius level IQ and often plays with the police and Batman during his crimes. Setting up riddles for them to solve if they want to catch him.

Aleese liked riddles so was a bit eager to meet the guy. She sat his file with the others she read and moved on to the next one.

The fifth file was on Arnold Wesker. He went by the alias The Ventriloquist. His file photo showed a older baling man who wore thick round glasses and looked as timid as a mouse. He carried with him a puppet that was dubbed Scarface. The puppet looked like it was modeled after a 1920s gangster. With the pinstripe zoot suit, cigar, Tommy gun, and everything. The puppet also has a scar on its left cheek. Most likely where it got its name.

She was about to read more on Mr. Wesker but a knock at her door stopped her. She looked up at the clock on her wall and saw it was five minutes after 10. That must be her first patient. An orderly opened her door and saw her and his eyes went straight to her chest. His eyes widened and he looked like he wasn't planning on looking away so Aleese coughed to get his attention. He looked up and met her eyes and had the decency to look ashamed and said her first patient of the day had arrived.

The orderly led in a man with red hair and dark blue eyes whose file she hadn't got a chance to read yet. The orderly sat the scowling handcuffed man in the chair across from her desk and said he'd be outside if the patient got aggravated. Aleese nodded and shooed him away before turning to the man across from her.

"Hello, I'm Dr. Mented." The man looked unimpressed and said nothing. She didn't want to just sit there in a boring silence so she tried again. But this time not as subtle as before.

She leaned forward and grinned at him. "What's up?" The man raised an eyebrow at her. 'Well at least it's something.' she thought with a wry smile.

0000000000000000000000000000 000000000000000000000000000*oOo*0000000000000000000000000000 0000000000000000000000000000

The remaining members of the Rogue Gallery were sitting in the recreation room doing this and that. Ivy was reading a botany magazine, Jervis was playing chess with the Riddler, Two-Face was periodically flipping his coin, Wesker and Scarface were in the corner arguing (Scarface was yelling at poor Arnold), and Joker and Harley were watching cartoons on tv.

Edward was getting bored playing chess with Jervis. He seemed so distracted that day. Like he was waiting for something. With a sigh he turned and saw Two-Face flipping his coin. Edward grinned and said in a cheeky voice, "Hey Two-Face, ya hear the news?" The bi-colored man turned to the riddle loving man and replied, "What are you jawing about Riddles?" in his deep gravely voice.

The Riddler smirked and said, "Words going around of a new doctor for us Rogues!" Joker perked up at this. He loved fresh doctors to play with. The Riddler continued. "I heard the guards talking. They say she's quite the looker, that she's built like a brick house." the redhead said with a leer.

The Joker laughed while Harley and Poison Ivy rolled their eyes at the men in the room. Two-Face smirked a bit while Arnold coughed and Scarface chuckled at his discomfort. Right then the rec room doors swung open and Jonathan Crane was escorted in by two beefy guards.

Everyone turned and stared at the frowning red head as he was pushed a little too harshly for his liking into the room. As the guards retreated, the former professor threw a withering glare their way before turning back towards everyone else. "Well, well, looks like professor scary's already gotten himself a piece." The Joker grinned, "So, how was she?"

Jonathan's eye twitched slightly as he glared balefully at the clown prince of crime. He could hear Scarecrow chuckling behind him. Though nobody else could see or hear the straw specter but himself. "None of your business Clown." He sneered, walking straight over to the table where Jervis sat and pretended to watch the game. Edward got the hint and got up, letting the lankier man take his place at the small table while he sat down on the worn couch.

Right next to Poison Ivy.

No one paid very much attention as the former professor passed a slip of paper towards the blonde man whilst setting the game back up. No one noticed Hatters eyes widening as he read it. He nodded silently to himself as he tore the small note into unreadable pieces and tossed them in the nearby wastebasket.

SLAP!

Everyone, including the Scarecrow who hovered behind Jonathan, jumped and turned to the source of the sound. Edward was holding his reddened cheek, whimpering almost as Ivy smirked coldly down at him. "Sheese Pammy, lighten up. It was just a pick-up line." The Joker laughed, causing everyone to glare at him.

At that moment two different guards came in and the taller one spoke. "Hey Nigma, your turn to get your head shrunk. New doc's waiting for ya." Without warning the two guards grabbed the redhead and dragged him out the door. And just before the doors closed Joker yelled out, "Hey Eddie, don't forget to tell the new doc Joker says hi!"

The guards led Edward to the elevator and up to the floor that had the doctors offices. Soon the redhead was being escorted into an office near the end of the hall. And there waiting for him was a sight that made his mouth water.

There bent over a waste basket was a curvy brunette. All he could see of her was her shapely behind, a curvy set of nylon covered legs, and long dark hair. She straightened up and turned to greet the three men in her doorway. Edward couldn't stop his heated gaze from roving the supple feminine figure before him. And he couldn't help but agree with the guard from that morning.

This new doc was most definitely stacked.

She smiled at him kindly and said in a voice as smooth as velvet, "Hello Mr. Nigma. How are you today?" She looked so sweet and delicate. So utterly perfect in his opinion. And to Edward, his opinion is the only one that really mattered. And he knew that if she was smart and loved riddles then he'd just found the future Mrs. Nigma!

So with a confident smirk he sat in the seat across from her. He didn't even answer her question before firing a riddle at her.

"What is the question you can ask all day and get different answers for it every time and they would still be correct?"

Aleese cocked her head to the side. 'They weren't kidding when they said this guy liked riddles. Oh well, no harm in answering. And I enjoy a good riddle.' She leaned her elbows on her desk and rested her head in her hands, looking almost bored she answered, "The time."

The slightly manic grin he gave her for her answer made her think that maybe some harm can come from answering a riddle. 'It really all depends on who was asking.' she supposed with trepidation.
