Dean gave Sam a look that asked you-got-any-bright-ideas and was not at all comforted by the look that Sam sent back to him that said No-you? Dean shook his head.
"Xander it's us." he said although it didn't have the intended effect of Xander putting his gun down, in fact Xander's face and resolve didn't seem to wavering at all. Which, was you know great, he always loved to have gun pointed in his face.
"I don't know you and you do not have permission to be here." Xander said stonily.
"We're here for Em." Sam said and Dean looked at him hoping that Sam was going to go on and say something profound that would get them out of this, but that was where Sam decided to stop.
Xander of course took it the wrong way and his eyes narrowed at them, somehow even more dangerously.
"The real Em." Sam hurried on noting the look in Xander's eyes. The one that said that they were about 2 seconds from having brand new holes put into their bodies . Xander looked confused but still angry.
"This isn't real." Dean said jumping in gesturing to the house. "It's not real." he said again not sure exactly what else to say. Xander looked at them like they were crazy and well if he didn't remember them and thought this was real Dean could see why this would be a hard pill to swallow.
"You don't remember us at all?" Dean asked finding that a little difficult and disheartening to learn. Xander stared at him for a long moment, his face a stone, not showing anything he was feeling.
"I. Don't. Know. You." he said making it clear.
"Now get out before I have to take extreme measures." Xander said looking down at his gun making it clear what he meant. They couldn't leave, they couldn't leave Xander in here in his head. Even though Dean had to admit it was a nice place, a nice house and Xander thought he had Em. However, the real Em needed Xander and Dean owed it to her to do his best to get Em's father to come back.
"Xander." Dean said suddenly and Xander looked at him even more suspiciously.
"How do you know my name?" Xander asked picking up on the fact that Dean had said it twice.
"Cause I know you this isn't real." Dean said gesturing to the walls "It's not but it's not real, not like your daughter who's missing you."
"My daughter is right here." he said pointing to the way that his daughter had gone.
"That's not her. That's not real." Apparently Xander didn't believe him because he cocked the gun back.
"I think I've been very understanding of this situation so far, but no longer; leave or die." Dean and Sam shared worried looks before Dean focused on his attention back on Xander.
"Xander, I've been here before... well not here before..."he wasn't going go on a tangent not with a gun pointed at him so he continued on "While they were different, some things are the same I-" he heard another gun being cocked from behind him and from the sound of it it was a shotgun. There was someone behind him with a shotgun. Dean put his hands up because he had the feeling like he knew who it was. Dean slowly turned around with his hands still up and found that he was right. Moria was standing in front of him looking every bit alive as she had the last time he had seen her.
"Hey Moria." he said.
