Chapter 11: The First Task
"I can't believe this," Aliana said to Draco after she had told him everything that had happened. "if something happens to Aundrea, I don't know what I'm going to do."
"At the rate you're walking, probably put a hole in the floor," Draco said stifling a laugh. Aliana looked at him with daggers in her eyes.
"It's true," Draco said. " If your mother is up to something, don't you think it's best to let your sister know?"
"No," Aliana said aloud. "Because it will never change Aundrea's perception that no matter how much Isabella abuses her she loves her no matter what."
"Damn," Malfoy cursed aloud. "you really thought this through didn't you?"
"Yep," Aliana replied quietly as she stares out her window. Draco simply watched her as the wind blew her short blonde hair.
He walked up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. Aliana felt her heart skip a beat as he did so.
"Everything will work out fine, "he said in her ear. She nodded stiffly refusing to face him. Gods of Yevon he smelled so damn good!
"Aliana?" Malfoy called out to his best friend.
"Yeah?" She replied.
"Take care of her, Aundrea I mean," he said quietly. She nodded again and turned around five minutes later to see that he had left.
As the day of the first task grew nearer, Aundrea's nerves were on edge. Harry, Ron, and Hermione felt could feel the rage coming from her as she stormed through the corridors, and felt steam rising off of her the moment they sat next to her.
"Aundrea you need to calm down," Hermione tried to coerce her but one death glare from Aundrea and she fell silent. Harry placed a hand on top of hers underneath the table and she felt herself calming.
"At least you're not up against a dragon," he whispered in her ear. Aundrea laughed slightly and smiled at her best friend.
"I better get going," Aundrea said to Harry, absentmindedly kissing his cheek, she left the Great Hall glowing as she went.
She tossed and turned for most of the night before the tournament. He was coming for her soon, and would have no choice but to go with him...deep to the depths of eternal darkness...she was sinking
"Aundrea!" She heard him call out."Aundrea...I'll be seeing you soon."
The fourteen year old princess awoke with a start. The day of the TriWizard Tournament had begun, and Aundrea Anderson for once could not regain her regal composure.
"GUARDIAN STAR POWER!" Draco Malfoy who had been following Aundrea to keep an eye on her peeked inside of her private tent as she transformed. Her body, lean and slender like that of a ballet dancer twirled around in a whirlwind of colors into a a scarlet strapless leather top and golden pants for the bottom. The transformation completed with Aundrea wearing a pair of scarlet boots and her golden Star Scar changinig into that of a crescent moon that appeared in the middle of her forehead. A golden aura erupted from the tent and Malfoy felt himself thrown back from the impact of it.
"She's evolved," Aliana said, rushing to Malfoy to help him up.
"Into what?" Malfoy asked, rubbing his forehead. "All I saw change was her Star Scar."
"Princess Ariana," Aliana said quietly. "Her power is combining with my sister at the moment..."
"Meaning?" Draco asked.
"There's danger coming," Aliana said, grabbing Malfoy by the hand and yanking him away from the scene as he golden aura of light disappeared.
Aliana's POV
It wasn't even fifteen minutes of Harry jumping into the first task and Aundrea managed to get herself severally injured by the Hungarian Horntail. How she survived the other three was beyond me, but this one dragon in particular had it in for her.
She tried to help Harry but the dragon knocked her down with its spiky tail, leaving her unconscious. And then blew fire at her. I watched helplessly as Legolas and the white Mages tried to get to her but the dragon wouldn't let them near. Hearing my mother scream my name, I knew I was next. Rushing out of the stands and into a deserted bathroom beneath the stadium.

Just as Harry came flying into the stadium on his Firebolt, he watched as Aundrea's body was engulfed in flames and levitated from the stadium. As he grabbed the dragon egg, he looked to see a raven haired woman with aqua colored eyes smile at him before catching Aundrea in her arms.
"Aliana," he whispered to himself before all around him went black.
"How is she?" Harry asked George, who held his sleeping girlfriend in his arms.
"She's going to be ok," George said after he brought a sleeping Aundrea from the Hospital wing. Madam Pomfrey had made such a fuss over the girl, going so far as to permanently ban her from the tournament until further notice. Arthur agreed with her and the two placed Aundrea under strict protection for the remainder of the school year. George Weasley, who knew how Aundrea got under protection thanks to Aliana, managed to convince Arthur that he, Fred, and Aliana would protect her.
"George?" Harry looked down to see Aundrea's amber colored eyes flutter open.
"We're going to have to keep Aundrea with one of us at all times," Aliana whispered to the Weasley twins. George looked worriedly at his girlfriend, who sat surrounded by friends. Harry held her hand within his, pulling her into a warm embrace.
"Harry has enough on his plate with the tournament," Fred said as if reading George's mind. "I'm pretty sure."
"Yeah but that won't stop him from worrying about Aundrea," Aliana said bluntly, causing the twins to look at her. "And vice versa."
"Why do you say that?" Fred asked her as he watched George state at Harry and Aundrea.
"Because protecting Harry is Aundrea's number one priority," Aliana said, watching George, whose expression remained passive.
"Why him?" George asked Aliana, blowing Aundrea a kiss when she looked his way .
"She's guardian," Aliana said, sneezing as Aundrea caught George's kiss.
And because Harry's fate is intertwined with hers, she thought silently. Damn all to hell. She was only fourteen! Why burden her with all this now? Angered Aliana clenched her fists.
"I have to go," she said abruptly to Fred and George as Aundrea walked towards them. By the time Aundrea reached them, Aliana was gone.
"Where's Ali?" She asked quietly.
