Chapter Eleven: ?

… … … … …

The day of the trip finally arrived and the girls were waiting in the school front excitedly. "I heard that Dratini Falls has the most beautiful waterfalls in the country." Jessamine said to the group. "Plus, the buses are going to be amazing! Double decked, air conditioned and with wi-fi!"

They squealed with ecstasy and discussed all of the stuff they had researched on the sight. "We rarely ever get two night trips. And yet, we're going to see such a beauty. Hard work really does pay off!" Tessa said in a dreamy state as she clutched herself to Clary's arm.

Clary, who was not paying attention, shuffled in Tessa's grip. "Er, what was that?" She had been constantly glancing at her watch and wondering where in the world the boys were. They seemed so excited about it last week…

Isabelle ruffled her red hair. "Geez, Clary, You're so out of it today." The girls made an agreeing noise.

Tessa added in slight concern. "She's right, you know? Is everything okay, Clary?"

Clary blinked in bewilderment, "Eh…" Had she really been out of it? She was just a little worried over the boys. Why must they always give her problems? "Sorry about that," was all she could say.

The bus pulled up along the sidewalk of the gates. The girls jumped with joy and began to pick up their bags. Already? Clary noticed the panic in her own thoughts. Where the hell are they? Isabelle tugged on her arm. "C'mon, Pres! Let's get the window seats!" All of the Infernelas skipped to the bus. With Mr. Matsumura and the driver's help, all of the bags were stuffed into the bottom compartment.

As the girls filed in, Clary heard the driver say to Mr. Matsumura, "We'll be going in five minutes." Him, being his frantic self, nodded without hesitation. The lady stepped into the bus along with all of the other girls.

"Mr. Matsumura! We can't leave in five minutes. None of the boys are here yet." Clary argued at her teacher. Even though the boys were stupid and lazy and loud. Even though they were the Mortadas, they still should be given a chance.

"I'm sorry Clarissa, but the schedule is absolute." He said hopelessly flipping through his contents on his clipboard. Clary's fists were clenching at her sides for some reason. In attempt to calm her, he said, "I'm sure some will show up." With that he climbed into the bus.

Clary was thinking about this trip all night. She envisioned her girls laughing, taking pictures and having a great time. But she also pictured the boys with them. This was going to be the trip where the girls could finally bond with the boys and change their wild attitudes. Or was there another reason? Whatever it was, she just wanted to see him…

Them. She corrected herself. She sighed in frustration and waited against the bus. Clary was already going through methods on how to stall for time.

Faint stomps were coming from Clary's right ear. She had to walk past the bus to see what was coming. The Mortadas were racing down the street. They looked miserable, sprinting at six in the morning with heavy duffle bags. Mr. Matsumura peeked out of the bus. Clary saw the glimpse of despair in his eyes, which he tried to cover. She couldn't help but giggle at his expression. When she had first met them, she probably would have the same face. Simon was heaving hard. "Sorry, man. We woke- up late." He said in between breaths. The other boys nodded in agreement.

Magnus covered his un-beautified face. "Don't look at me, I'm hideous." He yawned. "I can never manage to get enough hours of sleep."

Kyle threw his bag on the ground with a thud. "Six o'clock? We figured that was a sick joke."

The teacher took attendance again and marked off all the names. He said miserably to Clary, "Well, Ms. Fray, you got what you wanted. Climb aboard everyone." He muttered. The boys cheered and hopped into the bus after tossing their belongings into the compartment. She shook her head and smiled as they nearly knocked over one another to get in.

"How cute of you, Clary." A voice crept up from behind. Clary resisted the urge to jump out of her skin. She shivered and whirled to see a smirking Jace. He had his hand against the white wall of the bus. "Were you worried about me?"

"Get real, Wayland." It sounded better in her head, but her stutters erased that sense. Clary ducked under his arm and walked away in indignation. She climbed into the bus and saw that the boys had taken the bottom deck (that could've been changed if they got up earlier). She proceeded to the stairs and met the Infernelas. There were two round tables on both halves of the floor. The seats were arranged in two lines on either side of the walls.

Just as she sat next to Isabelle and Tessa, the vehicle lurched abruptly, almost throwing Clary to the floor. Thankfully, Tessa caught her. "Seatbelts would be a good idea." If there were any.

The girls conversed over the clamors coming from the bottom floor. Clary wondered how the bus driver was doing. Relax, only two or three hours til we get there.

As time went by, the boys became more awake (and wild). Clary began to think that they were the cause of the bumpiness of the ride, rather than the pavement on the highway. She excused herself from the girls, who were wondering what she was going to do. Clary walked over to the spot where she heard the most noise, right above where the guys were talking. The shouts and laughter shook the floor beneath her.

Suddenly, she jumps in the air and stomps multiple times, as if she were nailing the floor. "Would you shut UP?!" Her voice boomed throughout the bus.

Not a single murmur was heard. Only the sounds of the engine were faintly audible.

Unfortunately my lovelies, this is all I have so far (Yes, this is how much I wrote since October 6, 2013). I don't know if I'll continue this story. I'm currently writing another story (for The Walking Dead) aaand high school work is a biotch. Other stories+school+writer's block= huge hiatus. Yes, I know I'm an ass, but I wrote this story when I was obsessed with TMI. That obsession will probably not come around til CoHF comes out :P I really hate letting you guys down, but it's hard to enjoy writing if, well, I don't enjoy it. :( I'll try writing again today, just for you guys (I don't know how long a chapter should take to write, but for me its like 4 hours total [If I have an idea of some sort]). I hope you understand.

~Beanie Wayland

P.S. Pleasssee don't murder me for making you think you were gonna get an awesome chapter after waiting for months D: I really am sorry. (Be gentle with me) :'(
