Elliot and Olivia walked back into the squad room to find a camera set up. Everyone was running around the squad room, making phone calls and taking people into interrogation rooms. "What's going on?" Olivia asked as they walked up to Cragen.

"Tucker thinks it's a good idea to made a public announcement that Jamie is missing. From what we know, Kathy isn't going to hurt Jamie and we can't track her." Cragen explained as he pointed to the camera. "He wants you two to do it. Go put your uniforms on."

"What if Kathy hurts Jamie seeing it? She could break." Elliot asked following Cragen with Olivia towards his office.

Cragen turned to them again. "Look, if it were me, I would give it more time before doing the announcement, but... Tucker is running this office right now." He shrugged and turned back around to go to his office.

Elliot sighed and turned to Olivia. "Let's go get dressed so we can get this over with."

"Okay, five, four, three, two,..." Tucker said to them before pointing at them.

Elliot and Olivia stood side by side, their hands clasped together behind their backs, in their uniforms. "Hello, I'm Detective Stabler." Elliot introduced.

"And, I'm Olivia Benson." Olivia said looking into the camera. "This public announcement is to inform you about this little girl." Elliot held up a picture of Jamie. "This is Jamie Stabler. This morning, she was kidnapped and hasn't been seen since."

"Yes, Jamie Stabler is my daughter. But, under a strange occurrence of events, she is always Detective Benson's daughter. My wife had my partner's baby for reasons we have yet to find out." Elliot stated looking into the camera. He took a deep breath as he felt tears burning the back of his eyes. "Our daughter is six year's old and has done nothing wrong. Yet, she is in the middle of a crime because of the actions of Kathy Stabler."

Olivia held up Kathy's photo. "Please, if you see one of these two..." She sucked in a breath trying to keep it together for the camera. "Contact us at the Special Victims Unit hotline. Thank you."

Tucker gave them the thumbs up as the red light on the camera went off. They both relaxed the slightest from their stance. "You guys did great. This will air in a hour and will keep coming on the news for the next couple of days.

"Thanks Tucker." Elliot breathed before Tucker walked away. He looked at Olivia to find her taking deep breaths. "I feel the same way."

"I feel like a hypocrite." Olivia breathed looking up at him. "We tell people that they should wait so long before they make any drastic moves. Yet, here we are giving a statement about our daughter who has been gone for five hours. I love her more than anything and I want her back, but that doesn't change what we've said to other people."

"I know." Elliot sighed and rubbed her arm. "But, Tucker wanted us to and we know for a fact that Kathy took Jamie. Her stuff and Jamie's are gone."

Olivia nodded. "That's true." She pulled at the color of her uniform. "I am going to change into something else. This uniform irritates me."

Elliot smirked. "Remember when you couldn't wait to put that thing on when you became a rookie?"

"That was before I was a detective." Olivia smiled before heading towards the locker rooms. Elliot watched her walk away. She lifted her hands up and brought her hair back into a ponytail. She tightened it before she disappeared into the hallway.

"Stabler, what are you looking at?" Tucker asked catching Elliot's gaze. Elliot looked at Tucker. He had raised eyebrows.

"I'm just worried about her." Elliot said defensively, knowing that Tucker's mind was going to the gutter. He was in the right area, but he didn't need to know that.

Olivia unlocked her door and let Elliot into her apartment. "Make yourself at home." She said before closing her door. She stripped off her jacket before hanging it up. "Do you want anything to drink until the food gets here?"

"A water would be fine." Elliot nodded before throwing his jacket onto a chair, plopping down on the couch. He watched as she grabbed two water bottles from the fridge before bringing them over, sitting down on the couch beside him. "I'll take the couch tonight."

"No, you are sleeping in your bed. I will take the couch. You got a new one. I have to make sure it's sleep approved for you." Elliot smirked snuggling further into the couch.

Olivia chuckled. "No, Elliot, you are the guest. You can take my bed."

Elliot shook his head. "I will carry you into that room and tuck you in myself. I can tell you a bedtime story, sing to you, whatever you want, but you are sleeping in your own bed." He opened his water and took a sip. After a moment, he shook his head. "Crazy day, huh?"

"Yeah, it has been." Olivia nodded looking down at her fingers. "I was wondering how you were taking it so much better than I was." Elliot rubbed her arm. "I may be over thinking like a usually to, but... how did Kathy know to look in the safe in order to find out if we knew?"

"I don't know. I don't understand why she was looking at it." Elliot shrugged taking another sip of his water. He got up and walked into her kitchen. "Do you have any Cheez-It's?"

Olivia stood up and walked into the entryway of the kitchen. "El, did you tell Kathy to take Jamie?"

Elliot turned to her with furrowed eyebrows. "Why would you even ask me that?"

"Elliot! You seem to be doing fine! I haven't seen you break down once since Jamie was taken! Kathy knew to look in the safe! She is untraceable, something you know how to do!" Olivia shouted at him pointing to her fingers. "You and Kathy are high school sweethearts! You've known her most of your life!"

"Yes, but she took your eggs and gave us a daughter! Jamie is yours and mine!" Elliot yelled back.

Olivia nodded. "Yes, we took the tests to prove that! But, if we went through with this, you would get Jamie three weekends out of the month! I know you, El! You wouldn't let anything take you away from your kids!"

Elliot shook his head. "I would see Jamie more than that because she is ours. You would be with Jamie every moment you could and we spend lots of nights together here! I can't believe you are actually accusing me of this!"

"Well, you aren't denying it!" Olivia yelled at him as he walked to the chair in her living room. He pulled his jacket on and flipped the collar.

"I shouldn't have to deny it! You should know me well enough to know I would never do something like that to you!" Elliot shouted in her face. He opened the front door and waved at her. "I'll see you tomorrow. Hopefully, you'll be less insane and little more in tune to your common senses." With that, he slammed the door shut.

Olivia felt the tears building in her eyes. She knew Elliot wouldn't do that to her, but everything was so screwed up that she didn't know where she should be going. She always knew. She made sure she knew. If she didn't, she was that little scared girl afraid to come out of her closet and see her drunk, abusive mother. "Shit!" She breathed knowing she really screwed up with Elliot.
