Seeker: I'M BACK!

Gingka: -groans- We're doomed.

Seeker: -grins and pats his head- No worries. I won't kill you. Yet, anyways.

Kyoya: -snickers before getting jabbed by Seeker- Seeker doesn't own MFB. She only owns her OCs. Happy, insane girl?

Seeker: Yup!

"He should be here soon." Ziggurat chuckled as the screen went dark. "And then I will finally bring him to his knees after all these years!"

Doji arched his brow, his eyes flashing dangerously. "You will? I'm pretty sure it was my idea to kidnap him."

As the two began arguing, shooting harsh remarks about orange juice and pet bunnies, a few of the lackeys who were manning the surveillance sweatdropped and tried to ignore them the best they could.

"This doesn't seem safe even for you."

"Do you have a better idea?"

"Not really but there has to be something else we can do that doesn't involve running in blindly! I mean, that's suicide!"

"Well there's not another option, so unless something happens, this is what we're doing."

Yuki's eyes shadow with sadness as he frowns slightly. "Have you told her that you're going?"

"No. Would you in my position?"

The Anubis blader sighed. "No. Please just don't go in alone again. Last time didn't work like we'd planned and you can't die. She'd kill me and no one would try to stop her because I'd deserve it."

Remo silently moved through the bushes, his cape fluttering behind him as his goggles reflected the bright stars above. A single constellation shone brighter than the rest as Remo pulled his bey out for a moment, it too gleaming brightly in the still night.

He came to a stop when he reached the fortress he had hoped to never see again, crouching out of sight. Glancing over his shoulder towards his companion, he arched a brow beneath his hood at the mumbled complaining. Barely containing a snicker, Remo turned fully towards his friend. "You okay over there?"

A huff, then a growl from the similarly dressed man. "How can you live with these goggles? They're extremely annoying!"

The blonde chuckled as the hooded brunette crouched just to his right as he continued to adjust his goggles every few seconds. "You'll get over it Amon. They're not that bad."

"I can't believe you drug me here with you." Amon grumbled with a glare of distaste as he eyed the fortress.

Remo rolled his eyes. "Should I have picked someone else?"

The brunette thought about that for a minute before his lip lifted in a silent snarl. "No." He replied gruffly, not making eye contact with Remo.

"Alright then." Remo chuckled as he turned to face the fortress again. "Come on. Our mission is in there."

The two began slinking in the shadows, moving around the fortress in the trees until they were face to face with a massive hole obviously made by a bey that led into a huge, dank room coated in metal.

As they stepped around blood stains less than a few weeks old, some newer than they cared to admit, the two came to a thick metal door locked safely closed. Soon the door was blown away by a blue streak from Remo's hand, revealing several flights of stairs that they quickly scaled.

Coming towards a door marked with a thick line of black spray paint close to the top of the stairway, Amon pushed it open, revealing a long silent corridor with heavy doors lining its walls. Amon shifted nervously as Remo peeked into the tiny windows that were placed in each of the doors.

It wasn't until Remo was several doors away from Amon that he whispered a triumphant "Yes!"

Quickly joining him, Amon peered into the window only to see a pile of blankets in the corner farthest from the door.

"Remo…?" The brunette questioned in confusion before the blue streak appeared again, hitting the door's keypad lock with a thunk and a few sparks before returning to it's owner.

"Keep watch Amon." Remo whispered as he gently eased the door open, peering inside cautiously.

Keeping quiet, Remo stepped towards the blanket before kneeling in front of it. His hand shook slightly as he placed it gently on the ratty blanket. When it shifted slightly to reveal hair, Amon gasped and Remo's jaw clenched tightly in anger.

Carefully scooping the bundle into his arms, Remo stood and walked out the door, growling under his breath at the soft groan of what could only be pain from the bundle.

As Amon began to follow Remo towards the stairs, several footsteps echoed behind them. Whipping around, the two saw five men with launchers raised, Ziggurat at the forefront with a smirking holographic Doji off to the side sipping a glass of orange juice. Suddenly five beys came hurtling towards Remo and Amon at deadly speeds.

Panicking, Remo shoved the blanketed bundle into Amon's arms before Amon could even reach beneath his cloak. "Get back to base!" Remo commanded before whipping out his launcher, the blue streak once again flying.

Soon the six beys collided, creating a small explosion in the narrow hallway that caused the building to shake.

Nodding, Amon turned and sprinted towards the stairwell, baring his teeth at the sounds of the clashing beys behind him. "Stay safe." He mumbled under his breath.

"Get him! Don't let him escape!" Doji yelled, pointing towards Amon's retreating back.

As two beys fled from the head-on collision, Remo grit his teeth and widened his stance. "I'm your opponent! Run faster Amon!" In the blink of an eye, the two beys were thrown into the wall, embedded deep within the metal, giving the building another tremendous shake.

Soon the other two beys were also thrown into the wall, leaving Ziggurat's bey to fend for itself.

Eyes wide, Dr. Ziggurat tried to shake off his shock before he sneered. "I thought we killed you!" Ziggurat growled before smirking. "Oh well, if you want the job done, then you'll just have to do it yourself! Capricorn!"

Remo smirked slightly before his bey smashed into Capricorn, sending the blue and silver bey stumbling.

"Wolf!"

At the sudden intrusion of a second bey from a hole in the wall that wasn't there moments before, the building shuddered violently at another explosion.

Taking several steps away from the battle, Remo glanced around at the cracks growing up the walls, spiralling from the three beys as they continued to clash.

After a minute of clashing and shaking, the hologram growled. "Finish it, Dark Wolf! Darkness Howling Blazer!" Doji yelled as both Wolf and Capricorn lunged towards their opponent at their bladers' commands.

A massive explosion rocked the building, knocking both Ziggurat and Remo off their feet while Doji flickered in and out of focus.

With a growl of defiance, Ziggurat pushed himself to his feet as the building continued to tremble, chunks of the ceiling falling around them. "I won't lose! Not again!"

Rising to his feet as well, Remo whipped his arm to the side, his bey freezing in its path, not reacting or even moving as a reaction to the continued assault of the two beys. "We have to get out of here! The building is falling apart!" Remo shouted over the groaning building and clashing metal.

"I'm not leaving until I defeat you once and for all! Time to end this you pesky little man!" Ziggurat and Doji scream.

Several more explosions later and the building was near ruins. Suddenly a few tiny pieces of the ceiling fall onto Ziggurat's head, making him freeze and look, catching the attention of Remo and Doji.

Quickly putting two and two together at the feeling of the trembling beneath his feet, Remo's eyes widened in horror as he jerked his head up towards his opponent. "Z-Ziggurat!" He shouted, starting to run towards the man in hopes of saving him.

Mere feet from the Capricorn blader, Remo freezes as a scream of terror slits from his lips moments before a giant piece of the metal ceiling falls onto Ziggurat, pinning him from the waist down to the floor.

As Doji flickered for a second before completely disappearing with a cry of defiance, Remo rushed the final steps towards the fallen man. "Dr. Ziggurat!" He cried as he began pushing on the metal, the massive piece moving slightly as Ziggurat groaned, attempting to push the blonde's hands away.

"Y-You won't… save me. Get… out while you… can." He gasped, his eyes slowly closing as he began to lose consciousness. "I tried to kill… you. Leave me."

Setting his jaw, Remo glared at the man before commanding his bey to assault the metal as the two began to slowly push it off of him. "I'm not leaving you." He grunted as he heaved the metal up as far as he could while his bey continued to push it away. After several agonizing seconds, the metal was off with a groan and deafening scrape.

Quickly pocketing his bey, Remo scooped Dr. Ziggurat into his arms, the now unconscious man hanging limply as the blonde dashed around falling debris towards the stairwell.

Kicking the door free from the metal that held it shut, Remo flew down the stairs two at a time as he ignored the sounds of the upper levels already beginning to fall.

Bursting into the stained chamber panting heavily, Remo's eyes widened as huge chunks of the building fell, blocking the only exit he knew of. With a growl he clung to Ziggurat, searching frantically for another way out.

When he didn't see any other way, Remo huffed in frustration. "Not like this!" He yelled as the space he could walk around in became smaller with each fleeting second.

As the building gave one last shuddering groan, the masked blader pulled his cape around Ziggurat before shielding the unconscious man with his body, the last thing echoing in his ears being a faint shriek before everything went black.
