Chapter 11: Where X Is X the Remote? (Part 1)
Hana laughed happily as Gon talked to her
Killua spoke to Gon while ignoring Hana's presence
Kurapika continued to sleep against the wall, so did Leorio
Natsumi smiled as she watched all of them in the corner
They were all standing opposite from Natsumi's position while the examinees were where they all were since they left Mt. Split-In-Half, still talking among themselves, but some now asleep just like Kurapika and Leorio. The purple haired girl just sat where she sat earlier, watching them happily
Hwaah! I somehow still can't believe that we're now friends with our favourite characters from our favourite anime! Natsumi squealed in her head.
And then she turned her head to Hana's direction
Hana got carried by Gon! And I got carried by Gon! She thought as she watched Gon and Hana talk, Although we didn't really expect to be carried by him... she sweat-dropped.
And then she turned her head to Kurapika and Leorio's direction happily.
We successfully annoyed Leorio! All part of the plan! She thought with a determined look, And we have befriended Kurapika! Success! She continued as she smiled triumphantly, glancing at the blond teen
And he also carried me...multiple times at that... Natsumi thought sweat-dropping at the thought, Not part of the plan...
And then she happily turned her head to Ki—
She widened her eyes and then she blushed and then looked at the floor, remembering what happened earlier between her and the white haired boy
Ki—he also carried me... she thought, blushing hard, Also not part of the plan...
She raised her head, her eyes darted everywhere and then it finally landed on Killua. He was talking excitedly with Gon, no longer shirtless. Natsumi blushed once more and then she shook her head
Well! The point is, we have friends now! And also, we destroyed the boundary between reality and anime! She thought wearing a determined look
"I don't think so." A familiar voice echoed through the room
Natsumi flinched upon hearing the voice and she looked around
No one heard the voice? She thought in confusion as she saw that everyone were still doing what they were doing
"Idiot." The voice echoed again
Natsumi stood up and suddenly, everything became black. Everyone disappeared and there was only darkness.
She looked around in panic, "Hana!" she called out
She looked around again, there was no answer
"You are alone." The familiar voice said again, echoing through this strange dark space
Natsumi gritted her teeth, "Show yourself!" she exclaimed, looking in every direction
...
No answer
Natsumi furrowed her eyebrows and then she looked at her hands. Her eyes widened as she realized she could see them, she then looked at her feet, she could also see them, and she could also see the rest of her body
How's that possible?! I shouldn't be able to see myself in darkness! She thought as she looked at her hands again
"You've always been in the darkness." The voice said again.
Natsumi looked up
"Am I right?" The voice asked, echoing once again
"What did you do with my friends!?" Natsumi shouted, still looking up
...
Silence...
...
Natsumi furrowed her eyebrows.
"What friends?" The voice asked, sounding like it was in front of her
Natsumi lowered her head to see the person in front of her
Her eyes widened at what she saw
"You don't have friends." 'She' said
Natsumi was speechless upon finding out that the person in front of her...looked exactly like her
"You-your me...!?" She asked
Although the other Natsumi looked exactly like her...the expression on her face was...different...
That...dazed look...
The other Natsumi's eyes had that cold look in it... it was only filled with darkness. Natsumi started to sweat, remembering her life in the real world...
"I do have friends...!" Natsumi exclaimed as sweat went down her face
The other Natsumi continued to show no emotion as she moved her eyes full of darkness to look at Natsumi. The real Natsumi took a step back as her memories were flowing in her, she couldn't take her eyes off of the other Natsumi
"Lies." The other Natsumi stated, in the same tone of voice
Natsumi flinched and her eyes widened
Another step back.
"No one knows you better than yourself. I KNOW you." The other Natsumi continued
Natsumi looked scared, all those memories were starting to come back again
"Your only friend is yourself." The other Natsumi said
Natsumi tripped, she moved back
Natsumi!
"You always have and always will." The other Natsumi continued, starting to walk towards her.
Natsumi!
"SHUT UP!" Natsumi shouted, covering her ears and closing her eyes
The other Natsumi was in front of her now and she crouched in front of her.
"Don't worry" she said, looking at Natsumi with those dark eyes
The real Natsumi opened her eyes to look at the person in front of her, still with a panicked look.
The other Natsumi smiled, darkness still filling her eyes.
A bead of sweat went down Natsumi's face.
"You always have me"
Natsumi's eyes widened
"Always~"
"Natsumi!" A familiar voice called out. Natsumi opened her eyes at the sound of her name. She sat up. It was all a dream...a nightmare
She was actually still in the blimp going to the next test site
"Natsumi!" Hana called out again
Natsumi turned her head to where she heard her voice coming from
"What's wrong? You were frowning in your sleep." Hana said with a worried expression, kneeling beside her
The purple haired girl widened her eyes. She felt sweaty, was she sweating in her sleep too?
She looked at her small purple jacket on her lap that was obviously used for a blanket and then looked at her sister again.
Hana's eyes suddenly glanced somewhere, "Even though you were sleeping beside Killua the whole time." Hana pointed out with smirk
Natsumi's eyes widened once more and she looked at the person beside her
Killua.
She then blushed the colour red as Killua was sitting against the wall beside her with his elbows on his knees. He was wearing the bored look again and he was still shirtless and, he was also looking at her.
Killua blinked.
Hana smirked at her sisters reaction and then she smiled brightly, "He was also the one that told me you were frowning in your sleep!" she exclaimed
Natsumi's hair went up, like literally went up as she heard what her sister just said, and she was still looking at the white haired boy
Killua showed a look of confusion at the older twin's reaction and he blinked twice. And then Natsumi's hair went down and she bowed her head, "A-arigatou...!" she said nervously. Killua raised an eyebrow and then looked away and closed his eyes, "It's no big deal." He said with furrowed eyebrows. Natsumi raised her head and showed a look of confusion
"What's wrong?" her sister asked beside her
Natsumi looked at her, "E-eto...it's just that.."
Killua opened his eyes and looked at her
"I don't remember falling asleep..." The older twin said with a sweat drop
Killua gave a look of disbelief, "You don't remember!?" he exclaimed
Natsumi looked at him nervously and shook her head
"Pfft." Hana started, Killua and Natsumi looked at her. "Pff AHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!" Hana laughed. Her older sister showed a look of confusion while Killua showed a look of slight embarrassment. Hana continued to laugh.
Natsumi then showed a look of slight embarrassment, "Wha-why are you laughing...!?" she exclaimed, crossing her arms as she leaned on the wall.
The pink haired girl had tears coming out of her eyes as she looked like she was about to just lay down on the floor and just laugh until she falls asleep or something. Natsumi continued to look at her sister, this time with a confused look and then she glanced at Killua who was still beside her.
Her eyes widened.
Killua was looking straight ahead with a look of embarrassment and furrowed eyebrows.
Time stopped for Natsumi. All she could see was Killua. That face, that expression...
The sound of Hana's loud laugh became a fuzzy sound in the background and it seemed like all she could hear was the sound of her racing heart.
Ba-Thump Ba-Thump Ba-Thump
As the sound of her heart became faster and faster, it also became louder and louder to the point where she couldn't hear the sound of her sister's laugh anymore, it's either that or Hana really just stopped laughing. But the purple haired girl didn't care, she was focused on what was happening in front of her face right now.
Natsumi moved her head ever so slightly as she continued to stare at Killua.
I could...I feel like I could just stare at him...forever... she thought, still only hearing the sound of her heartbeat
Ba-Thump Ba-Thump Ba-Thump
Kami-sama...Thank you... Natsumi thought, sighing dreamily at the sight
NATSUMI!
Thank you! Thank you for such..such a beautiful sight!
"NATSUMI!" Hana shouted
Natsumi and Killua jumped a bit, Natsumi's eyes widened as she realized what she just did and then she flushed, and then Killua turned his head to Natsumi with wide eyes.
Their gazes met and locked.
Hana stayed quiet, realizing the situation, she smirked.
Natsumi's face became redder and her eyes started darting in every direction trying to think up of something to say.
"U-uh...!" She mumbled.
Killua continued to look at her with wide eyes, it seemed like he didn't know what to say either. Hana seemed like she couldn't hide her squealing and laughing. Natsumi returned her gaze at Killua with a panicked and embarrassed look, she opened her mouth and inhaled.
Hana couldn't take it anymore, "GO AHEAD KILLUA!" she exclaimed.
The two cocked their heads toward the pink haired girl as she started snickering.
Natsumi furrowed her eyebrows.
"Go ahead Killua! Tell her what happened!" Hana continued as she snickered.
Natsumi turned her head back to Killua who seemed embarrassed by the pink haired girl's request. The older twin's eyes widened as she saw Killua's reaction and then she abruptly turned her head to her laughing sister and narrowed her eyes at her. Hana's face was already red because of too much laughter.
"I..." Killua started, voice barely audible and still wore an embarrassed look.
However, the twins, of course, were able to hear it and both turned their heads to the white haired boy.
Hana suppressed her laughter to hear what Killua had to say. Natsumi gulped and flushed as she stared at Killua, waiting for him to continue his sentence and trying hard not to look at his skin. Hearing the murmuring in the background as the examinees spoke among themselves seemed only to make Natsumi's nervousness rise even though it hadn't even been a 3 seconds since Killua said that.
Nervous that the reason might be something she disliked.
Nervous that the reason was something she prayed would never happen
Nervous that the reason...
Why would I be nervous...? Her eyes widened
All these thoughts went through her mind like a passing train.
Killua opened his mouth.
It seemed like the pink colour on his cheeks became a bit darker.
"I...don't..." Killua said
Natsumi's eyes widened once more as she watched Killua's embarrassed expression grow deeper, cheeks getting pinker and eyes narrowing.
Ba-Thump
That sound came like it she was in a thunder storm and the thunder hit right in front of her.
You could still hear Hana, trying hard to suppress her laugh.
That's when Killua glanced at the purple haired girl from the corner of his eye.
Ba-Thump.
Natsumi jumped a bit.
Killua looked at the front again and closed his eyes tight, then scratched the back of his head.
"I won't say it if THAT thing is sitting there." He stated, opening his eyes and pointing at Hana without looking at her.
Hana abruptly stopped laughing and flashed a look at Killua and Killua immediately looked the other way to avoid Hana's Death Glare. Natsumi's eyes widened in surprise and then she furrowed her eyebrows and lowered her head a bit.
Since he asked Hana to go away... she thought, It could either be something I did or something... Natsumi blushed, He did.
Natsumi raised her head, But why would he be so embarrassed about it?
Hana groaned in annoyance and then pouted, looking straight ahead again. Killua quietly sighed in relief, also looking straight ahead. Natsumi's gaze quickly jumped from Hana to Killua wearing a worried look, and then she looked down, deciding to just wait for Killua tell her himself. Hana then stood up, but before she walked off to where Gon was resting, she looked at her sister with a disappointed look, I wanna watch her reactions... she thought with an evil smirk, But.. her gaze shifted to Killua, who seemed anxious for her to leave, a tick mark appeared on her head for that, but it disappeared as soon as she saw the expression on Natsumi's face. She was obviously curious.
"Hm." She said, getting Natsumi's attention, "Maybe you'll figure it out yourself" she continued with a smile as she started walking towards Gon.
Natsumi raised an eyebrow, but then, she realized what she meant.
—Flashback—
"Don't you love Killua?" Hana said.
Natsumi blushed red and smoke came out of her head, "Hu-huh...!?" ( Natsumi also blushed again as she remembered this )
Hana suppressed her laugh, "So-sorry, I'll rephrase that," Hana said, "I mean, aren't you addicted to Killua?"
The purple haired girl blushed even more. ( Natsumi also blushed again as she remembered this )
"Pffft! So-sorry! That still sounded wrong...!" Hana said, once again trying to suppress her laugh.
Natsumi covered her face with her hands as smoke came out of her head.
"Anyway, my point is," Hana started, "If you like Killua that much, then you would have been able to notice that." She continued
Natsumi stopped covering her face to show a look of confusion, "Huh?"
Hana smirked, and then she raised a finger, "See, Killua's an assassin right?" The pink haired girl said.
Natsumi nodded.
"Then he could have easily dodged my attack, right?" ( See previous chapter )
Natsumi thought about it first, she furrowed her eyebrows at the thought and then she slowly nodded.
Hana smirked once more, "But he didn't," She stated, putting down her hand.
The purple haired girl showed a look of confusion, "So...?" She asked.
Hana looked at her from the corner of her eye, closed her eyes and placed her hands on her hips and then sighed.
And suddenly she laughed and then started walking towards the double door.
Natsumi continued looking at Hana in confusion until Hana opened one door.
Hana looked at her again, "I'll tell you later." She said and then went in.
—Flashback End—
Is that what her sister meant? She wondered.
But what if she meant that I'd figure out the reason for Killua's embarrassment myself? Her eyebrows furrowed, Or could the reason that he's making such a beautiful face right now be... Her eyes widened, ... Me?The purple haired girl blushed at the thought, and then almost laughed at herself, The only reason that Killua would blush like that would be if it was about Gon! She thought, closing her eyes and shaking her head disbelievingly.
"Natsumi..."
But wait a minute! She opened her eyes
"Uh...Natsumi?"
What if the reason is actually...! Her eyes widened
"Natsumi...?"
The purple haired girl placed each of her hands on her cheeks with a panicked look, HANA!
That's when Natsumi suddenly felt someone abruptly grabbing her shoulders, and she woke up from her thoughts, facing the person who was holding her shoulders.
"Natsumi!" Killua exclaimed in front of her face
Natsumi gasped quietly as she remembered the situation she was in earlier. She placed her hands down and smiled nervously, looking down, "Go-gomene...I just tried to um... figure out what was going on..." she said, trying not to look at Killua's skin. Natsumi heard the white haired boy sigh and then he let go of her shoulders and returned to his previous position.
The purple haired girl first glanced at him with her eyes, and then she raised her head to face him, seeing his cheeks were now only slightly pink.
"So..u-um..." Natsumi started, her eyes darting everywhere, which got Killua's attention, his head turning to her almost immediately, but Natsumi didn't notice this of course. (If you know what I mean *Winks*)
Why were you so embarrassed? Natsumi blushed at the thought.
Killua's eyes widened at the sight, but of course, the purple haired girl didn't notice. (*Face wall*)
Idiot! I can't just ask him that! He'd get embarrassed! She thought, quickly shaking her head.
Killua continued to look at her with wide eyes.
Realization hit Natsumi, her eyes widening a bit, But I want to see Killua's embarrassed face...! she thought, the colour of her cheeks getting darker.
... Stare
Natsumi shook her head once more, I can't...! I shouldn't...!
She cocked her head to face Killua. Killua jumped a bit at the sudden movement.
"Killua...!" Natsumi said as she locked her gaze on the white haired boy.
"A-ah." Killua responded, confused about his own actions. (*Wink*)
"About how I-I fell asleep...!" Natsumi continued, her voice a bit shaky out of nervousness.
The colour on the white haired boy's cheeks darkened, his eyes widened and his shoulders stiffened, obvious signs of embarrassment, but he quickly looked in front of him again, wearing a confused look.
Natsumi's eyes widened at the reaction, I still got to see this beautiful reaction even though I said it differently? She thought, blushing, Is it that embarrassing? Well, to him at least.
Killua scratched the nape of his neck still wearing an embarrassed look, "I..." He started
The purple haired girl was listening this time, but continued to think of an answer as she waited for Killua to finish his sentence.
Yes, that's right, Natsumi is a fast thinker. Natsumi can finish a Math test, or any kind of test for that matter, in less that minute. If answering multiple tests at the same time, it would probably take a maximum of three minutes.
Same goes for Hana.
For all the years they've been in school, they have been in the same class three times.
During exams, they would, obviously, be the ones that finish first. And of course, in the long run, the twins were asked to skip years and directly go to higher levels that can match their capabilities, multiple times, the twins didn't mind, but their parents refused.
A reason they still don't know to this day.
However, later on, when the twins further investigated the reason, they found out that the year level they were supposed to be transferred to that was supposed to match their capabilities wasn't even close to their level.
It indeed disappointed them greatly and they ended up thanking their parents for their actions.
Assuming that both Hana and Natsumi are geniuses, which they are, I bet it makes you think, So what happens if they use their geniusness in battle? Hm. Your right to think of such things, but that will be explained in future chapters. (Sorry if I brought your hopes up. )
Back to the story, Natsumi had a long train of thoughts, but there was one on particular she could not shake off...
Then, doesn't that mean that I'm the reason for Killua's embarrassment? It was more of a conclusion than a possibility, she blushed a bit
She blinked as she focused her thoughts on what Killua was about to say.
"I don't know why that damned Hana is laughing." Killua said, clearly annoyed, but still wore the same embarrassed face
Natsumi blinked, What would I do to make Killua feel so embarrassed? She wondered, gulping and blushing a bit.
Killua scratched the back of his head wearing the same expression, "It's just that...whenever I..uh..how do you explain this...?" he trailed off, looking the other way.
Natsumi listened quietly.
"It's just that whenever I—" Killua turned his head to face her.
Natsumi flinched and then blushed.
Killua's eyes widened and then narrowed and he furrowed his eyebrows.
The purple haired girl was visibly surprised by the assassin's reaction.
"See! There it is again!" Killua exclaimed sounding annoyed and somewhat confused, gesturing at Natsumi's face.
Natsumi threw a sharp look, "Wha-what?" she asked.
Killua continued to show the same expression as he suddenly started anxiously moving his head from left to right and darting his eyes to every direction, as if hesitating to say something. Natsumi's eyebrows furrowed as she watched his reaction, she had wanted to ask but decided to just shrug it off.
"I-I just want to know how I fell asleep, nothing more." She stated.
This was a clear statement to Killua saying 'You don't have to tell me if it's not part of that', and he understood this of course. But Natsumi was still curious to what Killua was hesitating to tell her, maybe it had something to do with her sister?, she wondered.
Killua is acting weird was all the girl was thinking, knowing full well that she had no right to say this. After all, they just met, but of course, through watching them in anime on their computer, she knows well enough that this is not the usual Killua.
Once again this train of thoughts went through her mind as she waited for Killua's response, but decided it was no time to think about such things, what would she gain from figuring this out?
Killua's expression calmed and his position back to the original, he sighed with closed eyes and nodded, then opened his eyes to look at the purple haired girl.
"Fine." His cheeks coloured a little again as his gaze went off somewhere else, but he was still facing Natsumi.
—Flashback—
That voice... Killua thought, It's the same one that called my name back in the 1st phase at the tunnel.
Killua narrowed his eyes at the twins as they both supported the unconscious Gon going to the direction opposite from the door.
Killua looked at his hands as he held them together on his knees. The white haired boy was thinking if he should ask Natsumi about this. He's been wondering about Natsumi for a while, Hana is also suspicious but Natsumi is just, uh, well, a LOT more suspicious, not basing from her personality of course.
All of these suspicions are all just based on one fact, the fact that Natsumi knew his name.
Imean, it can't just be a coincidence that that idiot would know my name right? He thought, Well, unless they study so much that they found my name there that had some kind of other meaning or something... he shook his head,
Impossible.
His thoughts were interrupted by the loud voices of Natsumi and Hana.
Killua cocked his head to where he heard it.
Me and my brothers were all named uniquely right? Killua thought as he watched the twins shouting at each other. And then his gaze shifted to Gon, who was lying down just beside the twin's feet, still unconscious.
He blinked and then he raised his head, realizing that Natsumi was going towards him. Killua watched her stuck her tongue out at her sister one more time before turning to face him and he narrowed his eyes at the purple haired girl when she suddenly showed a sheepish smile.
"I'm sorry, where were we?" Natsumi said as she nervously sat beside Killua, cross legged, Killua continued to watch her as she did.
He narrowed his eyes at her once more before looking straight ahead and closing his eyes.
Killua smirked, "I think I can see it now." He said
Natsumi raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean?"
Killua faced her, "That you're a genius."
The purple haired girl's eyes instantly grew wide at his statement and she blushed then Killua gave a sharp look.
"Re-really...?" Natsumi said, sounding embarrassed.
Still confused to why she reacted that way, Killua raised an eyebrow and then shrugged it off and wore his bored look again and faced the front.
"Hm." He smirked, "Until when do you plan to act like you know nothing?" he said.
Natsumi stayed quiet.
"Didn't I tell you? I know that you know something." He continued, assuming Natsumi might be confused or possibly...guilty.
Natsumi continued to stay quiet. He smirked once more thinking that he's caught her red handed
"First things first," he said, glancing at a certain pink haired girl cautiously, "How did you know my name—"
Killua suddenly felt something heavy on his right shoulder and his eyes widened.
He turned his head, only to see that Natsumi was leaning on him, sleeping
His eyes widened even more.
—Flashback End—
"And after a while, you started frowning in your sleep and I noticed so I called Hana over." Killua continued, "And here you are now."
Natsumi nodded wearing an embarrassed look, and then she showed a confused look.
"Then, why were so embarrassed about it?" Natsumi asked.
Killua's eyes immediately widened and his cheeks gaining colour as he abruptly turned his head to face her. At that very second, Natsumi realized what she did through Killua's reaction and immediately covered her mouth. Killua continued to look at her with wide eyes Natsumi thought fast of quick save, "I-uh...! I mean...um..!". She decided to say what was on her mind, "That..! What you told me...it sounds...missing.."
Killua now showed a surprised look instead of embarrassed, then he looked away and closed his eyes
"I don't care if you don't believe me." The white-haired boy said as if trying to annoy Natsumi.
Natsumi showed a surprised look, Was there something I said?
Natsumi was thinking that the flashback that Killua just told her sounded missing, meaning, it sounded...wrong. Or more like there was something he didn't include. This, Killua clearly understood through Natsumi's statement and got angry. Natsumi only realized this when Killua was glaring at her while she was thinking. The purple haired girl jumped in surprise and stood up nervously, her eyes darting everywhere.
"So-sorry...!" she exclaimed before turning and standing up to race towards where Hana was.
Killua narrowed his eyes at her and then looked in front again, closed his eyes and sighed.
Baka.
Killua suspected that Natsumi and Hana might be people who were sent by his family to bring him back. He came to this conclusion the moment he realized that Natsumi was the one that called his name back in the Tunnel.
And of course, he is wrong, very wrong.
Because the twins are from another world, no more than Otaku's who came to their world to meet them, to destroy the boundary between reality and the anime world, to gain friends, to know what is to be happy with your friends.
However, of course, Killua doesn't know any of this. The possibility never even crossed his mind.
But Kurapika? He's a different story, no one really knows what that guy is thinking.
The white haired boy is only right to assume such things on the twins, because they knew his name before they even met for God sakes! And no one, I mean no one knew about his name at that time other than his family and employees, well specifically, no one knew his first name.
But for some reason, he couldn't move, or more like didn't want to move, his body wouldn't move, he had no idea why and what was going on.
Is this part of her plan? He thought.
Natsumi was on his shoulder, asleep, vulnerable, but he couldn't even do anything...
He just...froze. Even though so many things were going through his mind, what he should do, what he can do and other possibilities.
What am I doing?! DO SOMETHING! Killua thought in annoyance.
He could feel people starting to look at them, he didn't bother to look who. He just continued to stare at the purple haired girl with wide eyes.
Is it because of Hana?! He continued, his eyes not leaving Natsumi.
The assassin furrowed his eyebrows as he opened his eyes as this flashback played in his head and he scratched his head with both hands in annoyance.
What the hell am I doing!?
—xXx—
The purple haired girl stopped beside Gon's unconscious body, panting and wearing a panicked look. She then furrowed her eyebrows as she looked at her waist, realizing she left her small purple jacket beside Killua.
Natsumi then pouted and then abruptly sat cross-legged beside Gon.
Where the hell is Hana!? She thought, hugging herself, not used to the fact that she didn't have her purple jacket, That PINK LOVING BASTARD! She thought in annoyance.
Her gaze then landed on the unconscious Gon, the moment she saw his face, she was all like 'AAAAAAWWWWW!' with those shiny eyes and shiny stuff around her. And she was about to poke Gon's face when she suddenly felt an evil aura on the hand that was now on her shoulder. Her shiny time was over and she suddenly wore a terrified look as she turned to see who it was that owned the evil hand.
HANA! She guessed as much, her eyes widened as she saw her younger twin's reaction to her expression.
Hana looked like Medusa or something, her hair moving ad wiggling like that, with all that dark, evil aura around her and her eyes yellow with greed and jealousy.
Yep, totally Medusa.
Natsumi immediately slapped the pink haired girl's hand away and then jumped away from her sister like a cat that just saw a dog. The evil creature raised her other hand and pointed accusingly at her older twin, "What the hell were you gonna do just now!?" she said like she was some kind of God judging a human being or something.
Natsumi gritted her teeth, "NO WAY I'D TELL YOU! You..! You MONSTER!" The older twin exclaimed dramatically.
The creature raised her eyebrow in annoyance and put down her hand, "You DARE defy ME!?" she exclaimed
"So-so what if was!"
Evil Hana smirked, "Hm. You can't fool me"
Natsumi gasped dramatically.
"You were about to POKE him weren't you!?" The evil Hana exclaimed as she was once again pointing accusingly at Natsumi.
Natsumi gasped dramatically again, "How did you— I mean..! FOOL! Like I would even do such a thing!" The older twin exclaimed like she was in some kind of play or something.
...
It was quiet for a second and then everything started getting all dramatic. The twins started glaring at each other and some kind of epic music started playing in the background.
A split screen appeared as the twins narrowed their eyes at each other and they both opened their mouths to say something until—
"WOULD YOU SHUT THE HELL UUUP!" Leorio suddenly shouted
The epic music disappeared and the split screen was no longer there. The twins cocked their heads to his direction.
"You're right IN FRONT of each other! SO WHY THE HELL DO YA KEEP SHOUTING!?" He continued.
The twins now wore poker faces.
Suddenly a cloud of smoke appeared on Hana's face and as if it was some kind of magic trick, the wiggly hair and the yellow eyes disappeared after the smoke cleared and she was now the normal Hana.
Leorio huffed and the crossed his arms and tried going back to sleep.
Meanwhile Kurapika, who was beside him, just looked at him with this nonchalant look and then glanced at the twins. The twins also looked at him, they blinked in unison, still wearing poker faces. Kurapika closed his eyes and sighed, "Try not to cause any more trouble" he said, opening his eyes, "We'll be at the next test site in less than hour"
Natsumi's eyes instantly grew wide, "Did I sleep that long!?" she exclaimed
Hana cocked her head towards her sister, "Yes, apparently so." Kurapika and Hana answered simultaneously.
The blond teen and the pink younger twin looked at each other for a second and then looked away. Kurapika went back to sleep while Hana faced her sister. Natsumi had a thinking face on, Hana cleared her throat to get her sisters attention, which she did.
"Anyways" Hana started, "Why are you here?" she asked, glancing at the unconscious Gon.
Natsumi flinched at her question, and then started playing with her fingers nervously
"Well..."
She glanced at the white haired boy, and then looked at her fingers again and flushed at what she just did
"I...Kind of made him angry...again..." Natsumi said, not playing with her fingers anymore, sounding depressed.
Hana's eyebrow raised, "By him, do you mean Killua?" she asked
The purple haired girl flushed and then nodded.
Hana sighed, "What happened this time?" she asked as she sat down against the wall beside Gon and signalling her sister to do the same. Natsumi followed, "I said something." She said with a serious face Hana showed a look of confusion, "You said something?" she asked. Natsumi looked at her and raised a eyebrow, "Yeah..?Why?"
"You only said something? Not...well you know...DO?" The pink haired girl asked
Natsumi threw a sharp look, "Why would I DO anything—"
Her eyes widened in realization and then she flushed, "You think he's mad because I made him feel embarrassed?"
Hana cocked her head at her sister wearing a look of disbelief, "NO! Not that! We-well actually it technically is— BUT NO! That's not it!"
"Then what!?" Natsumi exclaimed.
Hana continued to show a look of disbelief and then she shook her head, looked away and furrowed her eyebrows.
Why the hell can't Natsumi notice Killua's mood swings?! Hana thought in annoyance. Natsumi looked at her sister with a confused look, but then Hana suddenly widened her eyes and she faced Natsumi, the older twin flinched at the sudden movement. "What did you say to him?" Hana asked.
Natsumi blinked twice, "Hah?"
Hana grabbed Natsumi's shoulders, "What did you say that made him angry!?" she asked sounding desperate. "We-well" Natsumi started, but then Hana started shaking her vigorously. "Spit it out!" Hana exclaimed impatiently. "Alright alright already!" Natsumi said grabbing her sister's hands to signal her to stop. Hana put down her hands, her eyes not leaving Natsumi
"Look, I wanted to know ho-how I fell asleep okay...!" Natsumi said, blushing, "And of course he to-told me! And well..."
"AND?"
"I just thought that...the way he said it sounded wrong..I mean well, incomplete"
"You mean he left some details out?" Hana asked
"Yeah" Natsumi nodded, "And then he started saying stuff like 'I don't care if you don't believe me'" she continued, copying the way Killua said that last part, "He even glared at meee!" Natsumi cried.
...
Hana was quiet
"..Hana?" Natsumi called out.
Hana looked like she froze in her position, Natsumi put her hand in front of Hana's face and moved it around, but Hana still didn't respond. Natsumi sighed, knowing full well what was happening to Hana.
As you all know and see, Hana is a genius, but unlike Natsumi, she doesn't have an Otaku mode, so her geniusness is applied in all situations, and that includes this one. Although she doesn't have an Otaku mode, she has a study mode. This mode is only used when she gets serious, and when she gets in this mode, she is nothing like the Hana right now. She's more like a clean freak-cold hearted-genius-smart-ass-bastard type of person.
Same goes for Natsumi, she also has a study mode. But instead of a clean freak-cold hearted-genius-smart-ass-bastard, she's more like a clean freak-serious-know-it-all-math-loving-genius, or is that the same thing? Whatever.
Some of you may wonder, 'does that mean Hana's study mode is turned off all the time?'
Well, No. In fact, it's actually turned on all the time, but it's only half on, why? Because if she's in full study mode, she won't be able to enjoy her time in the HXH world, simple as that.
Natsumi has a different story...but we'll deal with that later.
Right now, Hana is in a state of calculus. A series of possibilities has flooded her mind and she calculating which of these possibilities will happen, when and where. And yes, she goes in some kind of frozen state when she's like this.
Let's take a look hm?
...
Okay so what have we got?
Killua's embarrassed
Natsumi's depressed
Killua's angry again
Gon's unconscious—
Wait!
Hm?
That other part, 'Killua's angry again' was it?
What about it?
Last time, Natsumi said that he got angry too! Go back to that one!
Rewind
"...but...Killua got mad at me...and he doesn't even know why...he probably has a bad impression on me...I'm such an idiot..." Natsumi said with a regretful look, not answering that last part.
"He got mad at you!? Well I outta—WAIT, WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!" Hana said with an angry look, and then an excited look.
"Killua got mad—"
"NO! THE LAST PART!"
"He di—"
Right there! Killua got angry there!
So?
Do you know why?
Of course not! didn't she just say that Killua didn't— *Gasp*
Exactly. 100% correct!
Hana smirked as she crossed her arms triumphantly. She's figured everything out just by that one certain fact. It all makes sense now. Well, to Hana at least.
Natsumi cocked her head, realizing Hana was back to reality— I mean to the HXH world (Cuz you know, HXH isn't really um..reality) "What did you find out?" The older twin asked. Hana turned her head to face Natsumi, "Everything. "Natsumi threw a sharp look, "What?!"
"Hm. Even about the fact that you asked why Killua was embarrassed" The pink haired girl said
Natsumi stood up with a flushed face nervously trying to find the right words to say.
"Idiot, I was just kidding, I overheard that"
The older twin jumped and then a tick mark appeared on her head. And she raised her fist, about to punch her sister.
"But I left after that." Hana said
Natsumi immediately stopped and put down her fist and then sat down again. "Where did you go then?" The older twin asked. Hana looked at her twin, "That", she looked in front again, "Doesn't matter right now"
The older sister showed a look of confusion.
"For now" Hana looked at Natsumi again and smirked, "Let me tell you what was missing from Killua's story."
—Flashback—
After Natsumi left, Hana continued to tend to Gon. She placed Gon's vest on him to serve as a blanket. After that, the pink haired girl sat beside him and started looking around and wondering how long till they get to the next test site. Her gaze landed on the assassin together with her sister who was at the other side of the room. She had quite a great view from where she was sitting.
From what Hana could tell, Killua was well, of course, talking to her sister. That's when she noticed that Natsumi looked like she was about to faint. Her eyes were half open and she could barely keep a sitting position.
Hana was just about to go to her sister when she realized that Killua didn't seem to notice at all. She knew well that this fact was a bad one, but she stayed where she was, anticipating something would happen.
She smirked.
That's when she saw Killua smirk as well, he was looking directly at her. The pink haired girl showed a look of confusion to the white haired boy. Then Hana glanced at Natsumi who was still visibly trying to stay awake- Too Late.
The pink haired girl's eyes widened in excitement and she smiled from ear to ear as she watched her sister fall and land perfectly and exactly on Killua's shoulder.
She squealed quietly as she watched Killua's reaction.
He was obviously shocked, his eyes were wide and he couldn't move—Hana smirked, He can't move
Killua only continued to stare at the purple haired girl on his shoulder with wide eyes...his expression...his cheeks.
The pink haired girl suddenly burst into laughter as she stood up and started walking towards the obviously confused assassin. And Hana stopped laughing when she knew that she was now in front of Killua and she looked down at Killua, and Killua was also looking at her. Killua was clearly annoyed by Hana's sudden actions.
"What's wrong Killua~? Don't wanna touch her~?" The pink haired girl teased as she crouched in front of Killua, Killua's eyes followed her every move. Hana smirk grew wider when she saw Killua's reaction.
"Just get her off of me you damn bastard." He said bluntly.
Hana snickered at his request and then followed. She removed Natsumi's jacket that was tied on her waist, and then she gently positioned Natsumi to lay down on the floor beside Killua and used Natsumi's jacket as a blanket.
Killua just watched, Hana could tell.
After that, Hana just kneeled beside Natsumi and looked at her with a smile. "Natsumi fainted." She said, still smiling
Killua showed a confused look, "How do you know? What if she just fell asleep?" he asked.
"Well~" She raised her head to show Killua her devious smile, "She was with you wasn't she~?" she said.
Killua raised an eyebrow, "And?"
Hana suppressed her laugh, "Never mind!"
Killua sighed in annoyance and shrugged it off, "Whatever."
The pink haired girl then stood up and walked back to where Gon was.
Hana heard Killua groan in annoyance as she walked back.
—End of Flashback—
Natsumi was obviously confused, "Why did he hide that from me?"
Hana snickered, "Why indeed~?"
He must have thought of something~ She thought as she continued to snicker.
Natsumi looked at her sister with a questioning look then sighed, "How long till we get there?"
Hana stopped snickering and looked at her sister with a serious look, "Why don't you just look at your phone genius"
A tick mark appeared on Natsumi's head, but made no comment because she knows it's true. She got her foldable phone out of her pocket and checked the time.
"30minutes before we get there!" Natsumi exclaimed excitedly, facing her pink haired sister. Her expression immediately changed when she saw what her sister was doing; she was building something, something small, small enough to be kept in their pockets.
"Whe-where did you get the parts for that?" Natsumi asked with a sweat-drop.
Hana glared at her in disbelief and shook her head in disappointment "I can't believe you don't know your own invention..." she said, in her hand a card like device that she was raising for her sister to see.
"Oh, right. The floppy card." The older twin said, dumbfounded
"You mean Floppy cards" Hana said as she raised 6 more in her other hand.
Natsumi took a closer look at the other cards to see what kind of cards she brought; the one that Hana first raised had picture of a box in a circular frame right in the middle while the other 6 on her other hand had empty circular frames.. The purple haired girl showed a confused look, "The others are empty" she stated.
"Whaddya expect? These are the parts I got from home, I don't think it's safe to bring big ones" Hana replied, putting down the cards and continuing what she was doing.
"I see, so what are you building?"
"A portable device that could project TV shows through holograms" The pink haired girl replied as she screwed one part.
Natsumi threw a sharp look, "But we already got lots of those"
Hana looked at her in disbelief yet again, "We obviously didn't bring any of them!" she exclaimed. Natsumi face palmed at herself and raised a finger, "Right." Hana sighed then went back to what she was doing. While the older twin also sighed, trying hard not to think about the previous events, so she took one of the floppy cards and examined it, remembering how she built it in the process.
She smiled as she remembered.
The Floppy Card, she built this in order to keep things of any size in a small container and bring it anywhere.
Like some of you may assume, she got the name from the 'Floppy Disc' only she changed 'Disc' to 'Card'. She chose to do this because it looks like a floppy disc, only it's longer.
In order for you to place the object inside of it, you have to put the card on top of the object and tap the empty circular frame in the middle and POOF! A picture of the object in it appears in the circular frame and It's now inside the card and you can bring it anywhere. Same goes for when you get it out of the card, you tap the circular frame and it's out.
Pretty convenient right? Well guess what, she got the idea from the GREED Island cards! :D
But she didn't really get it right...well, it just proves that machine's have their limits too.
Natsumi's Nostalgia was interrupted by Hana's groan of annoyance. She turned her head to look at her sister, only to see that she seemed stuck with how to pattern the wires properly. Hana scratched her head in annoyance and mumbled 'This again' as she looked at her unfinished work. The purple haired girl's eyes instantly widened as she remembered exactly what to do, "Hana!" she called out. Hana turned her head at the sound of her name, "Hm?" She replied impatiently. Natsumi got closer and took the unfinished device from Hana's hands to examine it. "I've encountered this before..." Natsumi murmured as she took one of the wires. "Oh Okay, finish it then" Hana replied in a lazy manner.
Natsumi looked at her sister before taking a small screw driver, she fixed the wires and put them in the same slots she did with the previous encounter she had with.
Hana watched her curiously, I don't remember it being like that...
The older twin then put down the device and was about to press the 'on' button when Hana stopped her.
Natsumi looked at her, "What?"
"Are you sure you did the right pattern?" Hana asked with a serious face
"Yeah..." Natsumi replied questioningly. The pink haired girl looked at her for a few seconds more and then sighed and let go of her hand, "I don't think we should turn it on here..."
Natsumi rolled her eyes, "Fine..." she said, and then the twins both stood up and went for the door. When they were at good distance away from people, Natsumi put down the device and sat in front of it, but Hana stood about a meter away from it, still wearing a serious face. Natsumi looked at her sister with an annoyed look, "Look, I don't know what you're so worried about, it's just a hologram! You've seen one sooooo many times!" She exclaimed. The younger twin continued to wear the same expression, "We'll see...turn it on." She said
Natsumi sighed and then shook her head and faced the device again.
She then raised her finger to press the button, "Yeah, you'll see" Natsumi said, sounding annoyed by the fact that Hana didn't seem to trust her. The older twin pressed the button and there was a sudden wave that threw both Natsumi and Hana aside, but not enough to hurt them.
They both sat up to see that the device indeed projected a hologram, but not a TV show.
"That's not a TV show I know" Hana joked in a serious tone as both of them stared at the image.
It was their home, specifically their lab, and in that lab, the machine they created that made them go where they are now was standing out. That big circular machine that had the blue thin portal that looked like a galaxy.
But why would it show their home?
They never placed a hidden camera whatsoever in there, even if they did, they would have known. But the weirdest thing is that the camera seemed to be on the floor...
You could see the ceiling and everything, all the files, the parts they collected, the secret door, their other inventions, everything! Everything but the device that was showing them this image itself, and everything behind it.
Natsumi then looked at Hana, "Did you know this would happen?"
Hana sighed, "I had a hunch that something would happen, but not this." The curly haired girl replied Natsumi swallowed some liquid nervously and then stood up and turned off the device. She examined it once more, "It looks perfectly normal, why did it do that?"
"Correction, the right question would be HOW did it do that." Hana said as she also stood up and then dusted her clothes. Natsumi nodded in agreement and then she opened the device and sat down again and looked at how she patterned the wires. "I'm guessing you got that hunch of yours from this." Natsumi guessed. Hana sat beside her, "Yep"
The older sister sighed and then examined the pattern, trying hard to remember where she had encountered it.
"Do you want your Math book?" Hana suddenly asked.
Natsumi turned her head to look at her sister with a serious expression, knowing exactly what she wanted her to do.
"...No..not right now" The purple haired girl replied as she looked at the device on her hand again, remembering the nightmare she had earlier. Hana raised an eyebrow in confusion, "Then just a little? We need it." She begged. Natsumi clenched her empty hand and then nodded, "Do what you must." She said facing her sister. "Don't worry, I'll go in too" The younger twin reassured. Natsumi nodded then she inhaled and exhaled to calm down, Hana did the same.
The twins closed their eyes and stayed quiet for a second, as if they were waiting for something.
Hana's eyes opened first, but her eyes had a different colour in them, a much darker one.
"Who is the Father of Algebra?" Hana asked, in a tone more serious than usual.
Natsumi opened her eyes, which also had a darker colour than usual, "There are apparently two Fathers of Algebra. One would be Al-Khwarizmi, was born around 780 AD and died 850 AD. He is thought to be the greatest mathematician of his time. The other one, Diophantus, was a great Greek mathematician from about 500 years prior who also made many important discoveries." Natsumi answered, also in a more serious tone than usual.
"Further explain this." Hana said
Natsumi cleared her throat, "Many are actually debating whether who the real father is, many say it's Al-Khwarizmi and many also say that it's Diophantus. They say it's Diophantus because his explanation of algebra in his book Arithmetica is more complex than that of Al Jabr (Al Khwarizmi's book). On the other hand, supporters of Al Khwarizmi say he was the first to teach algebra in elementary form, and that he established algebra as a discipline, separate from geometry and arithmetic. In my case, I think they are both the fathers, because they both contributed a very big part of Math. Or in more simple words, Math would not be what it is now without them, thus making them both Fathers of Algebra." Natsumi explained professionally.
Hana clapped once, still wearing the same expression, "That's about it." Hana said.
The pink haired girl then closed her eyes again and inhaled and exhaled, and then she opened her eyes again, showing that her eyes have gone back to their original colour.
"Alright, you're ready." She said, putting her hands on her hips after standing up.
The seemingly different but the same person sighed, "You don't need to ask anymore." Natsumi said in that same serious tone, averting her unusually dark coloured eyes to the floor as she also stood up. "Huh!? Really!?" Hana replied almost immediately sounding excited.
"That pattern of which I've encountered before" The older twin started, "Is that of the same with the ones I used for the remote."
Hana's eyes immediately widened at that last statement, but just as she was about to say something—
"What are you guys doing?" An oh-so-familiar voice asked from the turning point to which they came from, which made the twins jump in surprise, making Natsumi's eye colour go back to normal just as immediately.
"Killua!" Hana exclaimed, quickly hiding the small device behind her foot thinking that Killua might have possibly overheard everything that happened just now. Natsumi nervously turned her head to face Killua. Killua was also looking at her, and another thing Natsumi noticed was that Killua was no longer shirtless. She felt a bit disappointed but decided it was no time to think of such things. "Wha-Why are you here?" Hana asked, quickly glancing at her sister as she gulped. Killua narrowed his eyes at the twins, "I was gonna ask you the same thing." He said in his uh, suspicious mode.
Natsumi continued to stay quiet.
The younger twin groaned under her breath knowing she'll have to reason out will Killua alone. So she kept a straight and calm posture, but still hiding the device, trying hard not to show any signs of nervousness.
"We were just talking, it's a girl thing." Hana said calmly as she motioned her hand in a girly manner.
The white haired boy furrowed his eyebrows, "I saw it." He said, sounding offended that the twins think he's that stupid.
However Hana could still put up a perfectly good act, "Saw what?" she asked.
Killua clicked his tongue in annoyance, "That thing that Natsumi just did!" He exclaimed
Natsumi flinched at the sound of her name, while Hana remained calm.
"What are you talking about?" Hana asked
The white haired boy glared at Hana and started walking towards them, "Stop pretending!" he exclaimed in an annoyed tone as he stopped in front of the twins. Hana groaned a bit at his stubbornness and suddenly raised a hand with a threatening glare, kinda saying 'Don't you dare!'
Killua gave her a sharp look, saying 'What?'
Natsumi watched them nervously, her eyes jumping from Killua to her sister. Hana narrowed her eyes and sighed. Killua continued to look at her with a confused expression while Natsumi started playing with her fingers nervously at the strange atmosphere. "If you want to so badly. Okay then." Hana suddenly said as she lowered her hand to the level to her waist.
"Wha—" Killua started
But then Hana suddenly pushed Natsumi forward, towards Killua.
"...!" The two victims exclaimed simultaneously as they felt each other's grip.
They immediately pushed each other away in embarrassment.
The purple loving girl flushed from head to toe as she stumbled on the floor. While Killua looked the other way.
He then turned his head with a click of his tongue and glared at Hana, "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!?" he exclaimed, sounding flustered. Hana smirked slyly, "You asked for it remember~?" she said with a sly shrug. The white haired boy's glare deepened, "The HELL with you..! I didn't ask for ANYTHING...!" He exclaimed, almost shouting, sounding flustered. He then turned the other way again. "Tch."
Natsumi noticed this and looked up nervously.
"...not this again.." The assassin mumbled.
The older twin's eyes widened, she turned her head to her sister, Hana was suppressing a laugh, her gaze then jumped back to the white haired boy.
"This is so ANNOYING!" Killua exclaimed as he turned his back to Hana and started to walk.
Natsumi stood up, knowing that this was probably part of Hana's plan. She nervously walked towards her sister. "He saw. What do we do?" she whispered
Hana immediately stopped laughing, "He won't tell~" the pink haired girl replied with a smirk. Natsumi showed a look of confusion, "Wha—", but Hana placed her hand on her sisters mouth, "Shh"
The purple haired girl's eyes widened, Hana's expression looked serious. The pink haired girl glanced to where Killua disappeared to, Natsumi followed, "He's still there" Hana whispered.
Killua was there, standing with his back facing the twins. "Just so you know." He started, then glanced at the 2 girls over his shoulder, "I don't trust you. But I won't Kill you either, for Gon's sake." He stated, then faced the front again and started walking.
Hana smiled, "I knew this would happen.". Natsumi took Hana's hand off her mouth, "WHAT!? You KNEW!?"
Hana looked at her panicked sister, "I knew Killua would follow us if ever we were to come out of that room." She explained, "But I didn't know that we would come out of the room because of.." Hana picked up the device, "This."
The older twin looked at the device and then at her sister, "What does that prediction have anything to do with the possibility that Killua might expose us?" she asked.
Hana's smile disappeared, she looked at the device then at her sister and then placed the small thing in her pocket, "The answer is simple actually~" she smiled again, "And I bet he knows it too." She said, then started to walk back to the room of which they came from. Leaving Natsumi, who was wearing a confused look.
"By he, do you mean…Killua?" Natsumi asked, knowing that Hana could no longer hear her.
—xXx—
The hallways were quiet.
Almost everyone was probably still asleep. It seemed like no one would be walking there.
Oh but no. There was someone. His steps could not be heard by normal humans.
Killua Zoldyck. Middle child of the Zoldyck family, was walking in these quiet hallways. He's followed the twins there, hoping to find out more information about them. And he saw it.
He saw and heard what he wanted to hear. Information.
Only, he does not understand any of it. What he saw.
Right now, his hands were in his pockets, and he was trying to figure out. What did he see?
That device…It just showed some kind of image. Yet those two seemed so flustered over it. I don't get it. He thought, What has that got to do with anything? He lifted his head, looking at the distance he still needed to walk. He narrowed his eyes. I also got thrown off when they turned that thing on, They could be spies of some sort.
He was about to step forward when he felt that same aura, that same aura the old man let out to get their attention.
His eyes widened and he stopped walking, only to see there was suddenly someone in front of him. Since when was he there!?
The white haired boy jumped back and observed the man.
He was a tall man, much taller than himself. Wearing Black clothes and a red undershirt. His hair was also black and he looked like he was in his 20's.
Killua glared at him, How did I not notice him when he was right in front of me!? He thought.
"Now, Now, no need to get all flustered." The man said, getting Killua's attention. The assassin furrowed his eyebrows, "You're not an examinee" he pointed out. The man looked surprised, that's when Killua noticed, that his eyes were also red. Red eyes?
"Oooh~! That! Weeeell, I'm just a special guest on the ride." The man said with a smile, but his smile turned into a smirk, "I'm only here to watch~"
Killua's eyes widened, "Are you with that old man!?" he exclaimed in annoyance as he remembered their little 'game' earlier.
The man's smirk disappeared, "What made you think that?" he asked, sounding serious. Killua continued to stay cautious, "He did the same thing to me and my companions earlier.." he replied, knowing that the man is most likely almost as powerful as the old man, based on that 'aura' he felt.
The man then wore a glare, Killua prepared to hit him unconscious and make a run for it, but before he could do anything, the man started chuckling, noticing that Hana was right behind Killua.
"It seems that the old man got to you first huh?" The man said, smirking once more as he watched Hana approach. Killua's eyes widened, "Wait, don't tell me your with this THING!?" He exclaimed, pointing at the pink haired girl who was now beside him.
The man's eyes widened in surprise
"Of Course NOT you idiot." Hana said in a serious tone, "I wasn't expecting to run into you again…" she continued. Killua looked at her in confusion as she didn't seem to be preparing for a fight. The man in front of them clearly had the same purposes as the Chairman. And that's when the man in black suddenly burst out laughing.
Both the twelve year olds looked at him with straight faces. "You think I'm with a little girl~?" He said, still laughing.
A tick mark appeared on Hana's head, "Just tell us what you WANT!" she exclaimed. Killua faced the pink haired girl again, "Do you know him?" He asked. Hana looked at him from the corner of her eye, "I'll tell you later." She replied, then looked back at the seemingly big threat in front of them.
The man eventually stopped laughing and wiped the tears in his eyes, "I just wanted to have some fun~~! That's what!" he exclaimed cheerfully. Hana furrowed her eyebrows, "Well, you can have your fun somewhere else because WE don't want to be a part of if Kuro-san!" She shouted. ("Kuro" means black)
The man looked like something hit him, kinda like when Leorio was being insulted, "Kuro-san..? JUST because I'm wearing black…" he cried.
Killua sweat-dropped and his eyebrow started to twitch, Huh? He thought, it didn't seem like he was a threat anymore…AT ALL.
Hana sighed, "Idiot…"
However, the man suddenly smirked and looked at the two with those red eyes, "20 minutes left before you get there~"
Hana and Killua's eyes widened at his sudden change of expression. "What?" Killua said. "Bastard!" Hana exclaimed. The white haired boy was confused to why Hana seemed so nervous at the mere mention of the time before they get to the next test site.
The man's gaze moved to Killua, "You." he said. Killua flinched. "Hm. Interesting~" the man said. "Aaaaw, Little girl, you're having so much fun without meee~~~!" He cried again.
Killua sweat-dropped once more, What's up with this guy?
"Hm." Hana smirked, "Why do you say that?" she asked.
The man stopped crying and he stood up straight, he smirked once more as he let out that 'aura' again, paralyzing the two twelve year olds.
He turned his back and stopped releasing the 'aura'.
"No particular reason~"
