Sorry that my updates are so late. I've been studying for exams.

I really didn't know what to do for this chapter. Haru and Rin are just so awkward. I mean, it's cute and sweet, but so awkward.

I hope I did okay.

"Seriously, why are they called hot dogs?" Rin asked.

"I don't know," Haru answered. "It's just their name."

"You promise they're not made of dogs?" Rin asked.

Haru sighed. "They're not made of dogs."

Rin and Haru were sitting at a bench in the park. They'd been there for about an hour already, and Rin had said he was hungry. They'd come across a vendor that was set up a little ways from the playground for kids who got hungry while playing.

Haru had almost got away with leaving without trouble when Rin had spotted the word hot dog. He'd instantly thought that they were made of dogs and started yelling to the seller about how cruel it was. Dogs hadn't done anything. They were loyal to humans and they were thanked by being baked up and served on the streets?

Haru had to literally drag him away. He made sure to apologize and give the man a tip for having to deal with Rin. It had taken Haru fifteen minutes to get Rin calmed down enough so that he could explain. Rin refused to settle down. He even went as far as to ask Haru why he was allowing such a disgusting thing.

"I'm sorry, then," Rin sighed. "People should really pick better names for their foods, though."

Haru shrugged. "Maybe he was drunk."

"What's it like?"

Haru looked to him in confusion. "What is what like?"

"Getting drunk," Rin answered.

"I don't know," he answered. "I've never drank alcohol before."

"We could have our first drink together, then!"

"I'm not being any where near you while you're drunk," Haru scofted. "Who knows what you'll do."

Rin tilted his head with a small smirk. "Where you thinking about something naughty, Haru?"

Haru rolled his eyes in attempt to distract from the small blush that had formed on his face. He hadn't really been thinking of anything, really. He just knew how Rin was even without being drunk. He was constantly touching and holding and petting. He could cross the line if he was drinking.

"Just eat your damn hamburger," Haru muttered.

Rin chuckled as he did what Haru said and took a bite of it. He smiled as Haru took a small handful of his popcorn and eat it. He looked like a small bird if he only ate that little. No wonder he was only muscle.

"You should eat more," Rin told him.

Haru glanced to him. "I'm not hungry."

"You'll be that skinny forever at this rate."

Haru ignored him as he looked around. Surprisingly, there weren't many people at the park today. A few kids playing on the playground, two sets of parents chatting, and some joggers. It was empty to be a weekend. Then again, it had just rained, so everything was a little damp. Maybe they were just afraid of getting wet.

He looked to Rin. The dog used to had getting wet. Since living with Haru, he seemed to become accustumed to it. That was to be expected, though. Water was a very big part in Haru's life. Anyone who wanted to be in his life as well would have to learn to share it with the water.

"You have ketchup on your face," Haru noticed. Rin wiped his face with the back of his hand, but missed it. Haru frowned. "On the left."

When Rin yet again missed it, Haru sighed. He reached over and wiped it off with his thumb. Before he had a chance to clean it off with a towel, Rin grabbed his hand and licked the ketchup off it. Haru's face flushed and he yanked his hand away in embarrassment.

"Hey, Haru?" Rin asked.

"What?"

"When can we have sex?"

Haru blinked as he nearly dropped his popcorn. The blush on his face got ten times worse and he looked away from Rin in response. Did he seriously just ask that? At the park? With people around?

"What brought this up?" Haru asked.

"I was just wondering," Rin told him.

"How should I know," came the muttered reply.

Rin smiled and reached over to ruffle Haru's hair. "Okay, okay. It was just a question."

"You really pick your moments, Rin," Haru sighed. He leaned back into the bench and Rin followed suite.

"But you love me for it," Rin chuckled.

"That's not the reason I love you," Haru corrected. When he realized what came out of his mouth, he glanced to Rin in horror. Of course, the dog's face was lit up with joy. He'd just confessed without meaning to.

"Haru-"

Haru stood up quickly and walked to a trash can to throw his popcorn away. Rin remained at the bench, still a little shocked. Haru sighed and walked back to him, standing in front of him.

"You gonna sit there all day?"

"Where are we going?" Rin asked.

"I want to show you something."
