I don't own ANYONE except Alex!

I don't think I have anything else to say… for once. .

~Alex POV (continued) ~

I woke up to pain… it was my back. I sluggishly got out of my bed and walked over to the bathroom. I looked into the mirror only to notice that my face had a painful expression on it. In an attempt to control my facial expressions I began to bite my tongue to mask the pain on my back. As the taste of rusty iron flowed into my mouth I sighed only to notice my tongue was bleeding from the pressure I had put on it. Slowly, I stripped from my pajamas and turned so I could see my back in the reflection of the mirror.

It was nasty looking. The cut that spread from my right shoulder diagonally to my left lower back. It was obviously still healing even after all this time. Every once in a while it would open up if I wasn't too careful.

I jumped into the shower and stood there with the water on, praying that it would wash away all of the pain and misery it brought to me. Yet, it wasn't working.

After washing for what felt like an hour I got out of the shower and put on my uniform. I then walked back to the bathroom and look into the medicine cabinet on the wall in hopes for some pain relievers since I took the last one of mine in the bookstore.

Cough Drops

Eye Drops

Ear Drops

Rash cream? (A/N: WTF? WHO NEEDED RASH CREAM?)

Mouth wash

More tooth paste…

"Nope. No pain relievers." I said to myself. Then I walked out of my room and called for a maid. "MAID!?"

After hearing a bunch of footsteps like a herd of horses I finally came face to face with a maid. I asked her for some Aspirin for the 'headache' that I supposedly had. Luckily she ran back with the whole bottle so I was able to put it in the bathroom.

I took one dry and put 11 pills in my prescription bottle that I had so that way I could carry it with me.

After exiting the bathroom I realized I was running late. "Miss. Dancer your breakfast!" a maid yelled after me in hopes that I would stop to eat but I continued running.

"SCREW BREAKFAST, I NEED TO MAKE IT ON TIME!" I yelled as I ran out of the house with my belongings.

I began running down the streets with the aching of my back becoming stronger with every step. 'When will the meds kick in?' I asked myself in my head almost not realizing the tree in front of me. I quickly maneuvered around it and began to pick up speed once again.

As I ran through the school's gates I was completely oblivious to the limo that had stopped behind me. I started to cheer as I noticed that I was 5 minutes early. Then I heard a door close behind me followed by a small child's voice.

"A-Chan! You ran sooooo fast! It was AMAYZING! Like 'VROOM', right Takashi?" I turned to see Honey-senpai exclaim while making car motions. 'A-chan? When was that ever my name?' I thought but then quickly was brought back to the real world as Mori-senpai nodded and said "Yes, he was really fast Mitsukuni."

He CAN talk!?

This new discovery was really interesting, all this time I thought he was mute but it turned out he really was "a man with few words". Rare, but living proof was right in front of me.

"Thanks, I did track for a while back home… I also try to run, or jog to school every morning." I told them, still quite surprised about Mori's ability to speak.

"You don't take your limo to school? Like ever?" A girl who overheard our conversation came running into my side with eyes that had a spark of interest.

"N-"I was about to answer when a bunch of other girls came flocking and started talking about how cool I was for running to school every day, while others talked about how I must be strong and have abs. I slowly backed out of their 'talk', or as I would call it, 'scream circle'.

After getting out of their group I realized that none of them noticed my absence so I made a mad-dash to my storage room for quiet time before school started. I sat down and grabbed one of the guitars that remained and began tuning it.

~Hikaru's POV~ (MEANWHILE)

All I noticed was that Alex ran far away from the girls. He looked like he was uncomfortable with the crowd around him.

"Strange, since he always brings attention to himself. He is probably deceiving everyone." I stated coldly without noticing. The guy was being all secretive… about everything.

"I don't understand why you are so angry with Alex? Are you jealous that he gets more attention from Haruhi?" Kaoru asked me bluntly with a hint of irritation. He never acted this way towards me; something was going on with everyone ever since Alex moved to Japan. Alex must have manipulated everyone –even my brother- into liking him.

"Why do you like Alex so much? Something happened between you and him right?" I shot back at him, a little pissed off. I watched his golden eyes and noticed a look filled with sorrow and blame; both emotions directed at me. I hated it.

He would always do this to me! Like it was his way of saying I'm in the fault!

I turned around to walk away and as I did so I felt his hand grabbing my arm. I stopped to look at him. 'What now?'

"You know, I think that Haruhi just wants someone to understand her. After all, calling her commoner all the time is just putting her down." He answered my question.

I mean yeah, she would always say things like 'Damn these rich people.' But that doesn't mean we are putting her down when we call her a commoner!

I think…

I sighed and walked to class with my brother on my side.

~ALEX's POV (again)~ (A/N: I try to keep it on Alex's point of view most of the time- so you guys/girls can become one with my character… yeah… that's why… -.-' )

I finished tuning the jacked up guitar one minute before the bell… which meant that I had to make a mad dash to get into 1-A on time while avoiding girls.

After FINALLY making it into the class I sat down in my seat- panting from having to go up the stairs- with Hikaru's glare trying to burn holes into my head (for whatever that boy had against me), Karou's questioning face, and Haruhi's worried glance.

"I- (pant), I- had (pant) run (pant) girls (pant) it (pant) crowded. (Pant) Guitar (pant) bad (pant) broken (pant) tuning." I managed to croak out. Haruhi then took out her water and handed to me.

"Here, looks like you need it more than me." I gazed at her as she motioned for me to take it. When I grabbed the cool bottle, my hand immediately sent a shiver up my arm and down my spine.

I opened it up and drank the whole thing at one go.

I had NEVER craved water so much.

"Haruhi, you are a lifesaver. I'll get you whatever you want for lunch, k? I owe you." I told her as the both her and the twins stared at me with wide eyes. "What?" I questioned but was interrupted by the teacher.

~TIME SKIP~

Class was EVER soooo entertaining but once the bell rung I strolled over to Haruhi waiting for her to pack her books so we can walk to club together.

"Sorry Alex, Can you go alone? I want to go study a little bit." She pleaded, but I understood that the host club required most of her attention so she barely had time to study. HECK, I barely get time to go to the bathroom! That's how much attention that damn club needs.

"It's fine, go ahead! I'll tell Kyoya that it will take you a few minutes to get there. OR maybe I'll just lie and tell him that it's your time of the month; that should give you a good 10 minutes at least." I told her happily as I imagined how Kyoya would react after hearing that.

"Well, thanks Alex. I appreciate it." She smiled at me as she ran off, soon disappearing from my line of sight.

Sighing, I turned around and slowly walked toward the torture chamber. The twins were nowhere to be seen so I assumed that they were already bothering the Idiot Blonde. I walked up the stairs and as I reached the top I began to hear some noise come from the club room. I opened the door a little bit and sticked my head in- only to see Tamaki sitting in his emo corner and the twin laughing their asses off on the couch.

"A-chan!" Honey-senpai yelled as he jumped on me, almost causing me to fall on my butt. I regained my stance and put the boy on the ground even though his eyes were pleading for me to hold him in my arms.

"Sup Honey-senpai. What's going on here?" I asked unamused by the scene.

"Hika-chan and Kao-chan said something about Haru-chan." He answered my question but I was trying to catch up with all the '–chan's. Yet I nodded to assure him (and myself) that I understood.

"Honey-senpai, get me some red-velvet cake. I need to talk to Kyoya." I left the boy and walked towards the Shadow King, who was sitting at his table typing away on his Laptop.

"Where is Haruhi?" He asked without looking up from his computer.

"Well…" I began my lie, "It's her time of the month… so… she has her period… You know… bleeding…" I told him loud enough for only his ears.

He looked up from the laptop and at me with wide eyes and his mouth agape, then quickly regained his emotionless face. "I do understand what happens during that part of a female's life. There is no need for an explanation." He replied in his monotone voice.

" So… you are acknowledging the fact that Haruhi will be late without penalty? Ok, that's great." I stated as I walked toward Honey-senpai who was standing in the place I left him with a plate of a half-eaten red-velvet cake. (SERIOUSLY SENPAI?!)

I heard Kyoya's footsteps behind me as if he was trying to catch up to me so he wouldn't have to shout to argue with me about Haruhi's situation, but I kept walking to the small blonde.

Unfortunately EVERYONE was stopped from what they were doing by the King of Idiots.

"You SHADY TWINS!" Tamaki began his speech, "I will have you know that I have been thinking (A/N: more like fantasizing) about what this situation is. THIS is CLEARLY a fanfiction about romantic interests, which means Haruhi is the Heroine whilst I, Tamaki Suoh, am the Prince that she will fall madly in love with and live happily ever after." He concluded.

'He watches Disney movies too much.' I calculated in my head- figuring it's the only explanation.

"What does that make us?" The twins HAD to ask.

"You lot are clearly the homosexual supporting casts." Tamaki answered as he took out a stick from God only knows where and drew a line separating him from the rest of us. "Please don't step over this line; it will break the balance in the world." He ordered us as he held the stick with pride.

"You have got to be kidding me." The twins shook their heads in disapproval.

"Tamaki," I said getting his as well as the other hosts' attention, "Let's not forget about that forceful kiss you gave me so eagerly. You should be more concerned about your sexuality than ours." I said to come back at what he said by stating the obvious.

"NO! Alex! I was only saving your life! It was an accident; I never meant to kiss you!" He yelled at me nervously with teary eyes.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night." I smirked as he ran to his corner once again- which made me laugh as well as the twins.

Haruhi ruined the fun when she walked in with Kanako, the host hopper.

"Hey Haruhi," I called her, getting her attention, "did you do what was needed?" I asked her while winking, making sure none of the hosts would see. Her face said it all though – the 'You SERIOUSLY told them that?!' face- yet she still awkwardly walked in while nodding her head. I was laughing to myself when I recalled Kyoya's face when I told him the lie. 'Priceless'

Kanako very quietly followed after Haruhi into the room as she cleared her throat to ask her question, "Why was I invited to the host club while the others can't enter? I-I mean it's not like I mind…"

"Oh, yes." Kyoya spoke up to answer her. "Haruhi is required to learn how to dance the waltz and will need you to help teach him." He stated while pointing to the empty area where all of the tables and chairs have been moved from as if explaining that, that was the dance floor.

I silently munched on my already half eaten red velvet cake trying my hardest to avoid any eye contact with Kyoya as if it would make him forget about me. (Hey, it works with teachers!)

The hand on my shoulder made me jump as I looked up to find Kyoya staring at me intently.

Eye contact.

"Don't forget that you are also required to dance." He told me while holding back a snicker as he saw the hope in my eyes disappear.

Damn.

"And your partner will be…. Hmm…. Hikaru." He said after thinking for a while.

"WHAT?!"Hikaru yelled from across the room as I choked on the piece of cake that was in my mouth. Luckily, Mori-senpai saw my lack of oxygen and ran over to do the Heimlich maneuver on me. Once I had begun to breathe normally again I turned to Kyoya and furiously asked him why Hikaru instead of one of my customers.

"Well… you see… I had forgotten all about you until now." He stated, not even a hint of guilt in his eyes. He PLANNED this and I knew it damn well. He strolled over towards the CD player and pushed a few buttons until music began to play. I (unhappily) grabbed Hikaru and pulled him onto the 'dance floor'. Come on, the guy doesn't like me and I don't even know why?!

After a good, I don't know, ten minutes of stepping on each other's feet; Hikaru snapped.

"YOU CAN'T DANCE! All you do is step on my feet!" He barked.

"Well sorrrrrrrrrrrrry~, but I thought I was supposed to be leading; you are playing the girl! After a few minutes into the dance you try taking the damn lead! It's your fault we keep stepping on each other!" I snarled.

"It's NOT easy changing positions!" he yelled back.

"Yes it is! Let me show you. You're leading." I ordered him and we began to dance to the music again, this time with him taking the lead.

Then we both stepped on each other's feet; his left on my right and my left on his right.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" we both screamed at each other while pushing the other away.

"YOU CAN'T DANCE!" He yelled at me once again except more furiously. The jerk thought it was might fault- this made my blood boil to a point of no return.

"More like YOU can't dance! You're so stiff it's like I'm dancing with the fucking wall!" I screamed at him, getting closer to him with every word in hopes to (soon) bite his face off.

"You're bodies just aren't compatible!" Kaoru came to our side in attempt to stop our bickering.

"DAMN RIGHT!" Hikaru and I stated in unison while folding our arms.

"Well, you could have said so from the start. A change of dance partners was always an option." Kyoya informed us in the matter-of-factly tone of him.

Both Hikaru and I just glared at Kyoya before we sarcastically thanked him for the information. Of course Kyoya, being the ass he is, changed my partner from Hikaru to…

Kaoru.

This only made the situation worse.

The last time I was so close to Kaoru was when that happened. The reminder of the event made my face heat up like the sun. I held him in my arms like I would when dancing the Waltz but I refused to look at his face and stared at my feet instead.

"Um… Alex, you should… um, have eye contact with the, um, person you're dancing with." Kaoru whispered while pausing every few seconds nervously.

I slowly picked up my head to look at him, only to realize that his face 50 shades of red- far worse than mine. (A/N: That is for all of you out there –luv ya- XD)

'This is soooo awkward' my inner-girl started squealing in my head, stating the obvious.

"Yeah… so do you… um, wanna start now?" I asked unsure as we just stood there grabbing holding each other embarrassingly. My mind was screaming at me saying that I should just hit my head against the wall or die in a hole as a "DANGER" sign began to flash in my head. In reality, the latter option sounded better than the first.

He nodded his head and we began to dance, surprisingly without making mistakes. As we progressed further in the dance with our eyes locked on one another I felt my knees weaken and we both got unusually close.

Thankfully Haruhi, who was watching the whole thing while dancing, accidentally tripped over her own foot and fell onto Kanako, drawing everyone's attention to her. I stepped away from Kaoru and helped both of them get up while internally thanking Haruhi for saving my butt.

"Maybe we all should take a break." Haruhi stated as I nodded my head in agreement a little too eagerly.

Haruhi, Kanako, and Kaoru sat at a table while I was about to go into the kitchen to bring back some tea. That was when I noticed a guy struggling as he walked in with a bunch of boxes, almost tripping over his own foot and causing one of the boxes to drop. I ran to his side and grabbed the falling box before it hit the floor.

"Damn, what are you carrying? Rocks?" I asked as I held the box with both of my hands. That's when Kyoya rushed to our side and started talking about the contents of the boxes- tea sets.

'What's wrong with the ones we have now?' I mumbled to myself only to be answered by Kyoya.

"It is the Host club's duty of providing happiness to all our customers; therefore, we must change our design to match with the theme we set up." Kyoya informed me. Bored, I placed the box down on a table and went to the kitchen to get that tea I planned to get in the first place.

When I entered the room once again I found that the guy and Kanako had left and that Tamaki was explaining about some plan he had. After catching on about the guy- who was named Tohru and was supposedly Kanako's fiancé- I learned that it was apparently the host club's 'job' to help them come together and obtain ultimate happiness.

There we go again with stupid happiness. I thought as I listened in to Tamaki's ridiculous plan. Maybe… I should help out too… I mean if it weren't for Haruhi and Kanako then who knows what would've happened… I guess I owe her….Maybe I should…

"Mm-hmm" I nodded my head as I agreed with my thoughts.

"SEE! ALEX AGREES WITH ME!" Tamaki yelled as he pointed at me which actually helped me make up my mind.

"I GOT IT!" I yelled to no one but myself as I began to gloat and the others just stared at me in confusion. "I'm a genius! Two birds with one stone!" I was talking to myself as I happily walked over to the couch where my bag was. I bent down to grab it off of the floor but then the pain in my back shot right through my body causing my legs to collapse right underneath me.

"FUCKKKKK!" I tried to bring myself up again by using the couch as support but I just couldn't do it, the pain was too much of a shock. I immediately grabbed my bag and took out the pills I had carried with me the whole day and I began counting the pills. "1…2…3…4…5" I stopped at five and shrugged. "If this doesn't kill me, then nothing will!" I raised the yellow pill bottle into the air like you would do when clinking glasses then put the plastic to my mouth and swallowed all of the pills at once.

The other hosts just stared at me with wide eyes until they eventually came to their senses; Kyoya being the first. He ran over to my side and grabbed the pill bottle I held in my hand and began reading the label while grabbing his cell phone out of his pocket. I grabbed his phone to stop him.

"It's not going to kill me. I put Aspirin in there, ran out of my meds a while ago." I told him hiding a smile; he did have a heart… I think. "Just give me a while, I'll be fine in about…" I opened his phone to check the time. "Ten minutes. Oh and I would appreciate it if you could refill my prescription, then I wouldn't have to take so much aspirin."

That's when Kyoya re-read the label as the others just stood there in shock. "These are strong…" He began but then trailed off.

"Yeah…" I replied.

"You can only get them though hospitals, it's not something you can pick up from your local pharmacy…" He continued

"Yeah…" I answered.

"Why do you need them?" He asked sounding monotone but his eyes showed concern. I just leaned my head back and closed my eyes.

"I have my reasons." I stated.

"Which are?" He pressed, trying to get an answer.

Sighing I opened my eyes again as the pain began to go away. "Well…" I started to say as I tried to figure out what would be the best response. I grabbed onto the couch and slowly pulled myself off the floor. I noticed Mori-senpai reaching towards me, wanting to help. "No, I got to do this on my own." I looked at him with appreciation but the truth was that if I were to get help now, how will I be able to do it when I'm alone?

"Why do you need these pills?" Kyoya angrily pressed on. I got up and stretched my legs but trying not to move my back too much since the pain wasn't completely gone.

"Well if I would have known you're going to be so pushy I wouldn't have even asked for your help in the first place." I stubbornly answered since they didn't need to know as I snatched the pill bottle out of his hand. Grabbing my bag, I walk towards the door. "I can always ask someone else to get them for me." I left in a hurry that way I could avoid more questions.

Now I have more problems… great. Life sucks.

HEY AGAIN!

So, here is my explanation for being so damn slow…

1.I had school – since they like giving tests and we have exams after break –

2.I DID start writing this over Thanksgiving break but since we had 'family time' (which consisted of us arguing a lot) I couldn't type it up.

3.I kinda forgot about this… like completely… until I talked with my mom about my future and she mentioned that I could try to be a writer as a hobby like a side job.

4.I had many ideas but I forgot to write them down… AND I wasn't sure if I should've added the host clubs thoughts at the end… . I ended up not doing it…

5.I'm lazy and tired. I did my holiday shopping yesterday… YESTERDAY. *facepalm* But my parents also forgot, they thought they had another week until the holidays.

I am hoping that I will get the next chapter out… Christmas day… or maybe a few days after… since we ALL know what the next chapter is about *wink wink*

But, if you don't know then I would suggest that you go and watch the first… what is it?... like 2 or 3 episodes? Damn, I think it might take a 100 chapters before I get finished with this fanfic. I'm trying to pick up the pace! Trust me, I don't want you all to get bored… but you're probably pissed that I take forever to upload. /).(\ Sorry…

Huggies,
