Hi guys! Sarah here! Uh I know we haven't written in a very long time! But now we are back! So please, sit back, and relax, and read

As I walked down the main hallway to my next class, the same thoughts went through my mind.

Why is Ina acting so strange? Why is she being so over protective over Madison and I? It's not like she cared before? Or am I just missing something. I made it to my English class and went to sit in the first open seat I could find. I stared up at the chalkboard in front of me. I tried to read what was on the board, but it came out something like gibberish.

After a few minutes the teacher finally came into the room and stood in front of the board. "Welcome class! This is your first year here at Kindsville Middle! Before we begin, I would like to know who in here has ADHD or dyslexia?" the teacher said.

Okay, let me get something straight, teachers are not even supposed to ask those kind of questions in front of class, those kind of things are personal. You all agree right? Don't get me wrong, it's nice that she cares, but I don't need her budding into my business in the first few minutes of class.

A few kids raised their hands, and the teacher, (who by the way I don't even know the name of) nodded her head, slowly scanning over the crowd of kids in my class. I decided to keep my hand down and to just tell her after class. I'd just make something up like I was embarrassed or something.

During class, I found out the teachers name was Ms. Linksmart, and it was her third year of teaching as the English teacher at Kindsville Middle.

The afternoon announcements finally came on and the entire class began to pack there stuff together, exiting the class right away. I was surprised because Ms. Linksmart just stood there smiling, letting all the kids leave with out a word. I wondered why she let her students out of class in such a "rude" manner, since the typical teacher makes you wait until the announcements and then lectures you about not leaving the class until it is perfectly clean.

I walked up to the teacher slowly, and she caught my eye, and her own pair seemed to twinkle.

"Ah, how may I help you? How's your first day going? Oh and I believe I didn't catch your name." She said.

I stood there frozen, I usually get very nervous in front of teachers, and especially if they know I'm ADHD. They always look at me as if I'm about to have a nervous break down.

"Uh, my name is Sarah Fitsjerald. My first day has gone well I guess, I just wanted to tell you that I am also an ADHD and dyslexic kid. You see, I was just kind embarrassed." I said, biting my lip.

Ms. Linksmart's smile faded, and she looked deeply into my eyes as if she were looking into my soul. She whispered something, but I didn't quite catch what she said

"Come again? I didn't quite hear you Miss." I said.

Ms. Linksmart just shook her head and said, "Never mind, so you are ADHD and dyslexic?"

"Yes ma'am." I responded.

Ms. Linksmart just smiled and gestured towards the door, "You should hurry off now, or you will miss your bus dear."

I nodded and said goodbye. I ran out the door, so I wouldn't miss my bus.

When I arrived home, I was completely alone. I think I remembered my mother talking to Joe, he was telling her how he actually found a job at the machine shop down the road. I walked down the hallway and up the stairs to my bedroom, and I jumped into my chair at my desk. I pulled out some paper and a pen and began writing my letter to Abby.

Dear Abby,

School just started back home; first day of middle school. I guess it was all right. Ina and Madison are at least all in one class with me, so I'm not completely alone at school this year. Today in gym was pretty weird though, but I guess weird things have to happen once in a while! I haven't gotten much sleep lately; I even passed out in gym today! Can be believe that? But ill be fine once I get used to the school routine.

Remember to write lots back about how things are at school, and remember to bring back lots of chocolate for me, all right! Your parents told me to tell you that they say hi and that they miss you. I hope that you met new people at Hogwarts and your making friends easily! Remember to write back! Miss you lots!

Your friend,

Sarah

I tried to hold back the tears so I wouldn't get the letter all wet, but curse my rotten luck, a few of them slipped out and fell onto the letter. I cursed and tried to blow on the letter so it would dry. When I was all out of breath, I folded up the letter and put it in an envelope. I opened my window and spotted an owl on a light post. Without any beckoning it flew straight over, as if it knew I needed him. I know right away that it's a messaging owl from Hogwarts, because on its foot it had the Hogwarts seal on it. I tie the letter to its leg and it flies away.

Oh and by the way, when I'm sad or crying, and writing a letter or something along the lines of that at the same time, I get really corny and use explanation points. That's why I probably seem like an eight year old in the letter.

I walked downstairs and notifed that at my front door, there was a little box. On it, it had a little piece of parchment that read, "Sarah, I found this book at the library, and I decided to get it on recording for you. I think you will enjoy it. ~Ina."

I opened up the box and it was one of those play away recordings, the ones you can usually get from the library. On the front it had a picture of a boy in an orange shirt, and you could only see the back of his head, and he was in the water. He was holding a bolt of lightning and staring up at the empire state building I believe. The book was titled, "Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the Lightning Thief"
