Nick's POV
It felt so long since I last saw Miley. It wasn't really that long, but it felt like forever. My mind just kept racing so fast around Miley and my heart was pounding. I'm feeling the deafening silence of her absence. It is a pain like no other. There is no amount of children's tylenol that can take it away. Only her illuminating smile could.
I suddenly grinned at the fact of seeing Miley rushing out of the house. I said stop. STOP. But it was her smile that was killing me. Seriously. That flirtatious smile. It was so inviting, but she always smiled like that. I sighed, forcing myself to look away.
I couldn't look away for long, so I turned my head in her direction again. My body betrayed me and started running to the brunette's direction. She smileda little bit, and that was all I needed. I grinnedback at her, pausing in my walking to pick her up bridal-style. "Where have you been? It felt so long" I spat out, noticing my hormones acting up. A few seconds later my lips ended up on Miley's, who instantly pushed me off.
But with that shove, the stake she drove through my heart torn it into really small pieces. Now, it was bleeding. It hurt even more than the pain of her absence.
"Whoa, whoa. Slown down there, blunt-boy. It's contagious" The brunette uttered unflinchingly, her voice making me sigh in relief.
I froze for a moment, not sure whether or not to be happy that she was still there "I don't care, Miley" I took a deep breath. And then again, my heart was beating for love. I lost control of all my senses and leant in, kissing her with everything I had. My heart nearly exploded through my chest, my stomach flip-flopping a million times. The brunette moaned into the kiss, driving me insane.
Mere seconds into the kiss, Kevin cleared his throat. "What is wrong with this family? Can't a boy just kiss a girl without getting interrupted? This is the second time today" I yelled irately, venting my anger. I swear they do piss me off. I tried two times, neither of them went well. "What is it with you?" I demanded, slightly stepping forward.
"Mom pulling in the driveway in three, two… Hi, mom!" Kevin greeted, waving his hand with the palm facing outward.
"Miley. Why aren't you in bed?" Mom inquired as he slid closer to her and began to rub her back gently.
"I felt like I needed some air. Besides, there was not much to do. Nick is really boring" Miley forcefully nudged me, letting out a marvellous smile. Oh, Miley. Your smile is a drug. And there it goes again, my heart pounding out of my chest, creepy smile on my face… Seriously Nick, your mom's watching. Chill!
"Yeah. Try listening to her for a whole hour: How you feeling, Miley? Sick. Is that not obvious? Who were those, Nick? Can you bring me a water?" I said in a snobby voice with upturned nose. Miley wiped that huge smile off her face andin about half a second and stared at me, eyes wide.
"Hey. I don't talk like that. I'm not snobby" Miley said in a foolish voice with a big, cute smile plastered on her face. Miley. Can you wipe it off? It's impossible to control myself if you keep smiling that way. "Not even that rude. You're making me look like a mean girl" She whimpered out disappointedly. "You must be so proud" That's what I loved the most about her. That sarcasm. The way she made a joke out of every unpleasant situation. It was impressing. She made my day.
"So, looks like you're feeling better and having an awesome time together. So, I'll leave you two alone" Finally. Alone at last. Shit! No. Joe, don't even think about it. Don't!
