Mariana was a giggly mess.

"Really," Callie said supporting Mari's weight helping her out of the car?

Earlier that night Callie got a call from Mariana and she sounded drunker than ever. Callie immediately knew she had to go get her before things got worse. So she told Stef and Lena Mariana's ride bailed on her and she would go get her; they bought it.

"Oh my God Mariana, what were you thinking?"

"Nu-thing," she fell back in the seat.

"Mariana, come on. Stef and Lena are going to wake up if you don't work with me here."

Quickly enough Callie got Mariana up and upstairs with minimum disturbances that could cause the moms to awake.

"Hey, what's going on," Brandon asked Callie as she exited Mariana's room?

"Um, Mariana's a little drunk." That was an understatement.

"What," Brandon started to yell?!

"Shh! Keep your voice down. She called me to pick her up at this party and when I got there she was passed out upstairs."

"How could she let this happen?"

"I don't know, you'll have to ask her that," Callie answered rather defensively. "But not right now; let her sleep it off. I'm going to get her a glass of water."

"No wait," he stopped her, "I'll go. You can get ready for bed."

Brandon grabbed a glass from the cabinet and proceeded to fill it when he was startled by the creaking on the steps.

"Hey," Jude walked in.

"Oh hey, I thought you were Moms."

"You couldn't sleep either," Jude asked?

"Uh, no; no actually I needed a glass of water," Brandon said not really lying. "Why are you up?"

"Jesus' snoring woke me up. And he looks like he's about to fall off the bed the way he's hanging off the side," he went to grab a snack from the fridge.

Brandon couldn't help but laugh.

"I'm going to sleep on the couch," Jude walked away eyes drooping.

Brandon returned to his room after setting the glass on Mariana's nightstand along with an aspirin to relieve a headache that was sure to come.

"Hey," Brandon said slightly confused when he noticed Callie sitting up on the bed.

"I just thought I'd stay in here for a minute," Callie was already explaining. "I know we're not supposed to sleep in the same room."

"Never stopped us before," Brandon went and lay next to Callie.

Callie smiled, "I remember one time I was so close to getting caught. I let myself fall asleep and when I woke up it was like 4 in the morning and I was so scared Stef or Lena saw us."

"That's not close; that's you not letting yourself relax," Brandon joked.

"No, I've always been a really light sleeper. Growing up in the system and going from home to home, I made sure I was always on high alert."

"You know, you don't have to do that anymore. You're safe now."

"I know," Callie smiled at him, "but whenever I came in here I'd always slipped out before I let myself close my eyes. I couldn't take any chances."

"Well, everything's worked out now." Callie settled in his arms. "Let yourself relax for once." And she did, as she closed her eyes in his comforting embrace.

The next day, Mariana felt the hangover. Hard.

"Nice to see you're up," Callie walked in just as the girl was coming to.

"I feel like I have a migraine," she said holding the side of her head.

"Ah, an effect of drunkenness," Callie smirked. "Mariana you were really drunk last night. Wasted, actually."

"Ok," she stopped her, "I don't need a lecture, because I am never drinking again."

"Hey," Brandon came in just a second later, "Lena wants to know when you guys will be ready."

"I'll be ready soon, but Mariana may need more time," Callie said giving her a scolding look.

"Time for what," she wondered?

"We're going to the spa today, remember?"

"Oh shoot I forgot. Do you think she'd let me skip? Because I'm really not feeling too great."

"Yeah; perfect, Mariana. Great solution. You get drunk and Lena gets her day that she wanted to spend with us ruined." Callie left to finish getting ready.

Mariana felt a headache coming.

"What is wrong with you," Brandon asked? "What would prompt you to go to a rager and get drunk? Again."

"Please don't lecture me," Mariana begged. "I've learned my lesson."

"Have you? Because lately you've been repeating past mistakes," he said just before leaving the room.

Brandon made his way downstairs, where Stef was walking in with a pile of blankets that she set on the couch.

"B, could you go out and pick some stuff up for me? I have to go down to the station."

"Yeah, sure. Do you have a list?"

Stef went to the kitchen to retrieve it just as Jesus made his way into the living room.

"Hey, can I borrow your car," he asked?

"I'm actually going to run some errands for Mom. She has to go into the station today."

"Well, can you give me a ride?"

"Where to?"

"Uh, I need to go down to the mall…to pick up a few things."

"Ok," Stef walked back in. "Here is the list and this should cover the cost," she handed him some cash. "What are you up to today, Jesus?"

"Actually Brandon is going to drop me off at the mall."
"I am," Brandon jumped in? "Because I don't remember agreeing to that."

Stef couldn't help but laugh at her boys. "Ok while you two sort that out I'm gonna go say goodbye to Mama and wish her a stress free day at the spa."

Jude was currently sitting alone at a table in the fro-yo shop. Lena dropped him off under an hour ago thinking he was meeting Connor, but Connor texted about half an hour ago that he was running late and more recently he let Jude know he couldn't make it. Jude felt immediately concerned; then he finished eating and got up to throw out his cup when someone rammed right into him spilling their yogurt all over his shirt.

"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry," a petite girl said. "I'm a huge klutz."

She was rubbing the stain into his shirt when her friend had to pull her back.
"Ava! Ava stop," the girl forced a smile.

"I, I am so sorry," 'Apparently Ava' said.

"It's no big deal," Jude wiped up the yogurt with a napkin.

Ava wore a worried frown.

"I'm Jude," he tried lightening her concern.

Ava was in her own world still worried about the mess, to which her friend ended up introducing her.

"I'm Kayley and this is Ava."

"Oh, hey! Kayley? That's almost like my sister's name."

"What's her name," Ava asked?

"Callie."

Ava nodded just before apologizing again, "I am so sorry about the yogurt."

Jude reassured her it was fine and a silence fell over the group.

"Um, we have to go wait for our rides," Kayley said pointing at their table.

"Okay."

"Are you waiting by yourself," Ava asked not seeing anyone in sight?

"Uh, yeah. I was supposed to meet up with my friend, but he couldn't make it."

"Do you, do you wanna wait with us," Ava offered?

"Sure."

The girls were spending the first relaxing day in a while at the spa; at the moment Lena and Callie were getting facials and a deep conditioning treatment.

"Thanks for this, Lena. This is really nice."

"Don't thank me. Thank my mom for the gift certificate. So how're things going back at school?"

"Good," Callie answered vaguely.

"Do you like college life?"

"So far, yeah. From what I've experienced of it. Right now it's just school, work, running errands—"

"I know you don't wanna tell your Mom all your secrets," she interrupted.

"No seriously. Whenever Brandon and I get a free moment we just sit at home and watch TV and then we fall asleep on the couch."

"I know what you mean. On the weekends Stef and I usually snuggle up on the couch and watch Law & Order SVU reruns."

Callie giggled. "Brandon and I watch Scandal."

Lena lightly gasped. "I need to catch up on that." Callie had to laugh again.

"Uh so," she controlled her giggles, "we haven't really done anything special in a while and our anniversary is coming up. I just don't know what to get him."

"You have come to the right mama," Lena smiled.

Mariana was getting ready for her massage when she began to feel queasy. She ran to the toilet and threw up. She felt her phone vibrate in her robe pocket and she quickly retrieved it, reading the text.

Zac: Hey, are you ok?

Mariana quickly responded: Yeah, why?

Zac: The Facebook pictures…

What did she do last night?

"Leave it to you to wait 'til the last minute to buy Christmas presents," Brandon said from the driver's seat.

"It is not the last minute. I still have a couple of days."
"Oh my mistake," Brandon said sarcastically.

"But you know, of course I already got your present."

"Uh huh," Brandon wasn't buying it.

"Honest."

"Whatever. Anyways, what's up with you? How is school and everything?"

"Boring. As usual."

"Hey just make sure you work your hardest. How is everything else going? Are things going well with your girlfriend?"

"I guess," Jesus shrugged.

"You don't know," Brandon laughed?

"No, they are. I don't know," he shrugged again.

"Well do you like her at least?"

"Yeah."

"Let me give you some advice," Brandon pulled up to the mall; "don't disregard this girl's feelings. Don't string her along if you're not that into her."

"Dude, who do you even think I am?"
"Sorry, I just know how you are when it comes to girls. And I know when it comes to breaking up with a girl, you're not the best with handling any tears."

"I'm not some jerk dude. And Paris and I are cool. She's not even in town right now, so even if I wanted to break up with her I'm not some jerk who does it over the phone. Despite what you might think. So, thanks for trying to help, but I don't need it," he said hopping out of the car.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom before we get out nails done," Lena excused herself.

As she left, Callie noticed the worry on Mariana's face and the deep interest in her phone.

"What's wrong?"

"…There are pictures of me from last night online."

"Let me see," Callie grabbed for the cell.

The pictures consisted of Mariana clearly drunk, dancing wildly on a table.

"Who posted these?"

"Britney. And she's writing all this stuff about me on her page." She took her phone back. "I'm so embarrassed."

"You should be."

"Ok, between you and Brandon, I'm gonna go insane."

"Hey, I'm sorry. It's gonna die down and soon enough you will be old news."

"Oh wow, that's really reassuring," Mariana said at the phrasing of Callie's words.

"You know what I mean."

"You're not gonna tell Moms, right?"

"…No," Callie answered just before Lena returned.

"Have you guys decided on a color?"

"I think I'm gonna keep it simple and get a dark blue," Callie said.

"What about you, Miss Thang?"

Mariana was focused on the comments people were writing about her.

"Hey," Lena caught her attention, "you alright? You're usually so excited when we get mani-pedis."

"Yeah. I am."

"Is everything okay," she brushed Mariana's hair back? "Are you feeling alright," she asked pressing her hand to her forehead?

"Yeah, I just…I can't decide which color I want."

Later that evening the girls were back from the spa and they were planning to watch one of their favorite chick flicks, Pretty Woman.

"I remember when you guys first showed me this movie. I thought I was gonna hate it," Callie said and Lena laughed.

"What movie," Brandon walked in followed by Jude?

"Can we watch it," Jude asked?

"No, this is purely girl bonding time."

"It will be as soon as Mariana comes down," Lena explained. "What is she doing?" Just then her phone rang.

"It's Mom," she answered and headed into the kitchen.

"I'm gonna go call Connor," Jude excused himself.

"So how was the spa," Brandon plopped down next to Callie? "Did you get a manicure and a facial and massage," Brandon was naming off everything he could think of?

"And a deep conditioning," she added. "But no, no massage."

"I can fix that," he began to massage her shoulders.

"Okay," Lena walked back in, "Brandon out. No boys allowed."

"Okay, I'm gone," he left going through the kitchen.

"Where is Mariana?"

Upstairs Mariana had locked herself in the bathroom as she tried to wipe away the tears and regain composure. There were more pictures. And they looked worse than the others.
