Helloooo!
It's me, TurtleLuver18! I changed my profile picture and username, though, I felt like they were a little too childish for me.
ANYway, I'm back with Chapter 9! YESH!
Yep, this chapter is when SHET GETS REAL, PEOPLEZ. :D
PREPARE YOURSELVES.
Chapter 9:
[4:30 PM, Wednesday afternoon, Chattiere residence]
Brick's POV
"You're here!" Bubbles squealed, jumping through the doorway to hug Boomer. Butch and I laughed and entered the house. Boomer followed us, a sheepish grin on his face as a blushing Bubbles clung to his arm. He led her into the kitchen, probably to talk to her and calm her nerves. Butch and I looked at each other and shrugged, walking further into the gigantic house.
"Butters!" Butch called, hands cupped around his mouth. "Where are you?!"
"I'M IN HERE YOU GUYS!" Buttercup's yell echoed through the house. Butch and I raced to find her, laughing the whole time. We finally found the main room, but it was empty of decorations. Buttercup stood in the middle of the room, arms crossed and eyebrows furrowed. She was staring into space.
"Uh…BC?" I asked, unsure as to what she was thinking. The ravenette snapped to attention, spinning on her heel to face us.
"Hey Buttercup, what's wrong?" Butch questioned, walking next to her and taking her hand. She smiled at him briefly, but her expression quickly became thoughtful again.
"What if...we could make this party more…I dunno…teen-friendly?" She said. Butch and I shared another glance, confused.
"What do you mean?" I watched Buttercup carefully, and her face suddenly lit up.
"Oh my God, I got it!" She ripped her hand out of Butch's and jumped up and down, shaking her hands at us frantically.
"I just got a fucking AWESOME idea!" She practically shouted. "What if we set up in Townsville Park?! For TONIGHT instead of tomorrow! We could use the area that's for big events, we could set up the stage, hang lights, I know a guy who can DJ for us, and we make it a damn PARTY instead?!" She babbled, her smile almost blinding.
"That…would be so FUCKING COOL!" Butch said, raising his voice as he said the last part. I walked over and put my hands on Buttercup's shoulders, shaking her gently.
"You. Are amazing." I said to her, making her laugh. She took my hands off her shoulders and ran towards the door.
"Where are you going?" I asked. She stopped, bouncing on her toes.
"I'm going to go tell Bianca! We gotta make some MAJOR changes, but I think we can do it in time for tonight! We're going to need all the help we can get." I pulled out my cell phone, and she quirked an eyebrow at me.
"I can help with that." I dialed a number and she laughed again, leaving the room.
"I'm gonna go tell Boomer and Bubbles." Butch said. I nodded and he exited the room.
"Hello?" A familiar voice said through my phone speaker. I smirked.
"Hey Tony, its Brick. I need a favor…"
XXX
"AAHH BUTTERCUP I LOVE YOU SO MUCH RIGHT NOW!" Bubbles shrieked, squeezing Buttercup mercilessly. The green-eyed girl was laughing hysterically, and Bianca watched, a hand over her mouth to stop her laughs.
"THAT'S AN AMAZING IDEA I CAN'T WAIT!" She reluctantly let go of BC, and clutched Boomer's hand. He pecked her cheek, making her blush. Bianca smiled and clapped her hands.
"Let's get started! Bubbles, mon amor, I think we have extra Christmas lights in the storage room, and tables. We'll have to take the stage equipment too. Why don't you go get those while I make some calls?" She suggested. Bubbles nodded, and she, Boomer, Butch, and Buttercup left to get the items. Bianca looked at me.
"I am so glad you are helping Blossom. She has had a terrible childhood, and she deserves happiness. Being with you makes her happy; I truly hope you two are together for a long time." I smiled at Bianca.
"Thank you." I said sincerely. She walked over and picked up a blue cell phone.
"I have a friend who runs a restaurant downtown; I'm sure she will provide the food. She absolutely LOVES cooking for large crowds." Bianca giggled, manicured nails tapping away at her phone.
"I called in a favor from an old friend," I started, gaining Bianca's attention. "He's got some friends who can help us set up. They're meeting us at the park in thirty minutes." Bianca nodded and then began to speak rapid-fire French into the phone. I took my leave and wandered out onto the front porch. Absentmindedly, I dialed Blossom's number. It rang ten times before going to voicemail. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair; I figured she wouldn't pick up. Her stepmother probably took her phone away. I sent a text anyway, and went back inside to help load up all the tables and lights.
"Hey guys, you alright?" I said as I walked into the storage room. There was a stack of folding tables by the door, and about seven boxes stacked next to it.
"Yeah, we're good." Boomer said, waving from behind a rack of costumes.
"I just called my parents. They're going to make posters and hand them out around town and at the mall." Buttercup said, popping up beside me. Butch appeared on my other side, leaning an elbow on my shoulder.
"What time is the party starting?" Bubbles asked, looking at Buttercup. The black-haired girl looked at me.
"Ummm…eight, maybe? That's when it starts to get dark, and it gives us enough time to set up." She contemplated. I nodded in agreement.
"Eight it is." Bubbles said, fingers flying over her phone screen, much like her mother.
"Well then." Butch said. "We'd better get started." He picked up two boxes and walked down the stairs, slamming the front door open and setting them on the porch. His eyes bugged at something outside.
"Okay, whose responsible for the massive truck IN THE FRONT YARD?!" He screamed. Bubbles, Buttercup, and Boomer sent me bewildered looks. I glared possessively, that truck was mine and no one else's.
"I am! I called it in from storage; put everything in the back!" I yelled.
"Sweet! I'm driving!"
Boomer's eyes widened and I snarled.
"OVER MY DEAD BODY!"
XXX
"I can't believe you wouldn't let me drive." Butch pouted from the backseat. Buttercup giggled and leaned her head against his shoulder. That seemed to lighten his mood and he smiled, wrapping an arm around her.
"After what happened in Cali?!" Boomer said, aghast. "No fucking way are we ever letting you drive! You could've killed us!" Butch rolled his eyes.
"Oh come one, it wasn't that bad." He said. Boomer turned around in his seat next to me and looked our brother dead in the eyes.
"You ran into the Hollywood sign. Twice." My blonde brother said. Butch cringed and Buttercup stared at him in shock.
"Okay, maybe it was bad, but I've gotten better!" Butch said, meeting my eyes in the rearview mirror. I snorted.
"I'd rather not risk my life to find out." I retorted. Boomer laughed and Buttercup giggled again, and Butch went back to pouting.
"Turn here!" Buttercup said after a minute of silence. I followed the command and pulled into a large, grassy area of the park surrounded by trees. The grass was cropped short and the trees were tall but not overly so.
It was perfect for the party.
Butch and Boomer looked at the place in awe, excitement beginning to take root in their features.
"Come on!" Butch said, jumping out of the car and flipping the trunk out, climbing into the truck bed. Buttercup rolled her eyes fondly and followed him. Boomer shook his head and got out, and I left the driver's seat soon after, slipping the car keys into the pocket of my jeans.
Buttercup had two boxes in her hands, and was walking over to a random spot to put them down. Boomer was unloading the tables, and Butch was handing everything out. I took a speaker and brought it to one end of the area, so it would be situated like a concert. Boomer saw what I had done and copied me, bringing more of the stage and its equipment. Buttercup was still taking out boxes of lights, and I helped her with the last three before going back to help Boomer with the stage.
"Hey wait a minute, where's Bubbles?" Butch said. Buttercup looked at him.
"You're just now realizing she's not here?" She asked incredulously. He gave her a blank look and she rolled her eyes yet again. "You're a goddamn idiot." She muttered. Butch, hearing her, grinned and wiggled his eyebrows.
"But I'm your idiot." He said. I laughed.
"Butch can be a bit slow sometimes." I teased. Butch growled and threw an extension cord at my head. I caught it before it hit me and put it with the other plugs in a pile off to the side. Butch cursed under his breath and went back to what he was doing.
"Butch, Bubbles is at her house with Bianca. They're making arrangements for the food and putting together the outfits for our performance. Which reminds me, I need to call Mitch…" She took out her phone and spoke into it quickly.
"Hey Mitch, dude, I need your help." She paused for a moment. "Haha, very funny, now shut up and listen to me." My brothers and I stifled laughs; she was obviously close with this Mitch guy. "My friends and I are putting together a huge-ass party in Townsville Park, and we need a DJ." She stopped again. "Yeah, it's a younger crowd, why would I go through all this trouble for adults?" She laughed. "Teenagers, Mitch. Not old people. So, you up for it?" Another pause. "I'll explain everything when you get here, just pack up all your shit and get your ass down here." She stopped her rant again. "We're at the place people use for big events. The one where we used to have all those epic water balloon fights." She laughed again. "Yeah, that's the one. Hurry up and get down here." She hung up. We stared at her.
"What?" She asked.
"Who's Mitch?" Butch said. Buttercup smiled.
"He's basically a brother. He's been friends with me, Bubbles, and Blossom since seventh grade." We nodded.
"Brick! Butch! Boomer!" Another voice called.
"What now?" Boomer said. Three figures walked out from behind my truck, and I smirked.
"Tony, over here! It's good to see you, old-timer!" I shouted, waving. Boomer and Butch's heads whipped around to stare at me.
"Tony?!" Boomer said. He sprinted over to the newcomers, Butch right behind him. They tackled Tony in a hug, and then hugged his friends. We were all really close, Tony was kind of like an uncle to us. He and his friends are the managers of a record company, Sonic Boom Records, and they were the people who first signed us. I called in a favor, telling him I had his newest clients performing with us tonight.
"Hey Brick, this one of the girls you were talking about?" Michael said, pointing at Buttercup and smiling. She looked at me strangely.
"Buttercup, this is Tony Humphreys, head of Sonic Boom Records, and his crew. They're here to see – and hear – the PowerPuff Girls, tonight." Buttercup, to everyone's surprise, didn't freak out at all. She smiled, shook their hands, and introduced herself.
"Where are your bandmates?" Robert questioned, looking around.
"Well, Bubbles is with her mother and our manager, Bianca, and Blossom is…" She trailed off, glancing at me helplessly.
"Blossom couldn't be here at the moment, but she'll be here later." I said, coming to her rescue. Tony eyes me skeptically, and I smiled innocently.
"Wait a second." Michael said, holding up his hands. "You're manager wouldn't happen to be Bianca Chattiere, the fashion designer, would it…?" Buttercup laughed.
"The very same." She said. Robert's eyebrows furrowed.
"She's retiring from the fashion business?" He said, confused. Buttercup shook her head.
"Of course not! She's still in the business, and she's still designing, except she's going to be focusing on our clothing label, and any other ideas she might come up with she's going to work on during our tour, and we're going to model for her!" The ravenette explained. There was a chorus of 'Oh' and we showed them what we were doing. Tony and Robert came over to help with the stage, while Michael went to Buttercup, who was now stringing the white Christmas lights along the trees. Some of the boxes held white paper lanterns, which were also hung on tree branches as well.

[5:30 PM – Wednesday afternoon, Townsville Park]
"Mitch!" Buttercup yelled, standing up and waving frantically. She ran to the edge of the grass, where a black Jeep pulled in, parking crookedly (I had moved my truck off to the side behind the trees).
"Hey, BC, how goes it?" A guy shouted, climbing out of the Jeep and sweeping Buttercup into a hug. She laughed and punched his arm, and he put her down. My brothers and I ventured over.
"Are those…the RowdyRuff Boys?" Mitch asked as we came closer. Buttercup smiled sheepishly.
"Uh, yeah, these are the friends I was telling you about." She said, rubbing the back of her neck. Mitch's face broke out into a grin.
"Awesome! I think this is a rad idea, by the way. It's awesome you guys are helping Bloss like this. Being in a band has always been a dream of hers." He said, shaking our hands as we introduced ourselves. Mitch went around to the trunk of his car, pulling it open and bringing out multiple speakers, an armful of cords, and a long black DJ booth table. Butch, Boomer, Mitch, and I each took a corner and lifted it onto the raised dais on the back of the stage; the front was for the girls' and our performance. Setting up the DJ booth took a while, about an hour, plus Boomer got tangled in all the cords, so it took an extra twenty minutes to get him free.
"Annnndd…done!" Mitch said, plugging in one last cord and placing a pair of black and white headphones around his neck. Buttercup applauded, as did Tony, Michael, and Robert. Butch and Boomer bowed, and I smirked.
"We should test it, though." Boomer said. "Just to make sure everything's running correctly." Butch slapped his back.
"Boomer, bro, that is probably the smartest fucking thing you have said all day." Boomer scowled and punched Butch, who laughed hysterically and jumped out of range. Fortunately, he jumped towards me, so I slapped him upside the head.
"Hey!" He cried, glaring at me. I blinked, unfazed. "What the hell was that for?!" I shrugged.
"For being you." I said in a bored voice. Boomer laughed and Butch opened his mouth, but before he could say anything, Buttercup stepped in.
"Okay, guys, we get it, now could you do something productive and test the DJ booth?" She tossed us each a mic and went behind the booth with Mitch. He grinned and flipped switches and pressed buttons. After a minute, he gave us a thumbs up.
"Ready when you are!" He declared.
"We don't have any instruments." Butch said.
"Yes you do." Tony said, walking up to us. He had two electric guitars, one red and one green, in his hands. He tossed me the red one and Butch the green one.
"We got your drums, Boomer!" Michael said. He and Robert were lugging Boomer's blue drum set over. We put it up on stage and got into position.
"Alright, nothing too hard core or we'll attract unwanted attention." I said. My brothers nodded. "Let's do something low-key."
Tonight Tonight by Hot Chelle Rae

As we were singing, I glanced at Buttercup, who flashed me a smile and a peace sign. Tony, Michael, and Robert were smiling and laughing too. Mitch was moving his head to the music, headphones placed over his ears.

We hit the last chord and the music faded out. Buttercup and the guys clapped loudly, and my brothers and I smirked. We were SO going to kick ass tonight. I couldn't wait to see the looks on everyone's faces when we surprised them with another concert! Nick was going to have a fucking heart attack. The thought made me smile, a dark chuckle escaping my lips.
"Buttercup!" A female voice called from the other end of the park. "Guys!" A short blonde girl ran up to us, and Boomer's face lit up. He jumped off the stage and swept Bubbles into a hug. She laughed in surprise and hugged him back, kissing him on the cheek before he let her go. She came over to hug each of us, and I introduced her to Tony, Robert, and Michael.
"Where's Bianca?" Buttercup asked, standing next to her close friend. Bubbles smiled reassuringly.
"She's going to her friend Marie's restaurant downtown, Le Fleur, to make sure the food was ready. They're coming soon; don't worry." Bubbles explained quickly. Buttercup relaxed and we made small talk for another twenty minutes.
XXX
[6:45 PM – Wednesday night, Townsville Park]
"Bubbles, mi cheri, I'm here!" Bianca called through her car window, pulling up to the park in a sleek Mercedes. Bubbles smiled and waved to her.
"Did you get the food?" Buttercup said, anxiously looking around. Bianca smiled and pointed behind her. A large minivan sped into the area, stopping quickly. A short, slightly chubby woman stepped out, rushing around to the back of the van and throwing open the doors. The delicious smell of food wafted out.
"Okay, where should we put the food?" The woman called. I guess this is 'Marie', the chef.
"We have tables ready over there." Buttercup said, pointing the woman in the direction of the tables. She took a large bowl from her and we all took that as a signal to help. Another thirty minutes and we were done arranging all the food.
"Okay, dears, I will go back to the restaurant now, to cook extra in case you need more!" Marie said, smiling and waving goodbye as she drove away. Buttercup laughed.
"That woman sure loves to cook." She commented. Butch slung an arm over her shoulders.
"Hey, I'm not complaining." He said, shrugging. We laughed.
"What time is it?" Boomer asked suddenly. I checked my watch; the time said 7: 15 PM. I repeated the time and Bubbles let out a shriek.
"BC, we need to go get Blossom ready!" She said, snatching the ravenette's hand and dragging her to the blonde's blue car. Bianca waved them off, then turned to us.
"Alright, boys. We need to get you ready." She said firmly, pushing us toward the stage. Tony, Michael, and Robert were behind it, and it turns out they had actually set up a small, yet roomy trailer where we could change. We stepped inside and Bianca showed us our outfits, ordering my brothers and I to change.
"What about the girls?" I questioned. She winked at me.
"You'll see them soon enough." She said, closing the door to the trailer behind her. My brothers and I shared a glance. Butch and Boomer shrugged helplessly. I shook my head at their hopelessness.
"C'mon, let's get ready." Boomer said. With a nod, we did just that.

Blossom's POV
With a large sigh, I placed the broom and mop against the wall. I wiped my forehead, my hand coming back slick with sweat.
"Almost done." I said to myself. I was so tired, I could barely think straight. I had cleaned the entire house until it positively shined, except Sedusa's large private study. That was the last thing on the list. It was kinda weird, though, when she told me to clean the study too, her facial expression became shady and guarded, almost like she was uneasy.
I wonder why….I thought. Shaking my head, I decided to take a break from my chores. Walking down to the basement, I collapsed on my bed to take a small nap.
XXX
[5:00 PM – Wednesday afternoon, the Utonium residence]
I woke up thirty minutes later, feeling rejuvenated. A power nap was just what I needed. I stood up and remade my bed. I twisted my hair into a new bun and returned upstairs, grabbing all the cleaning supplies and lugging them to Sedusa's study.
I set down all the supplies and open the double doors slowly, poking my head inside first. I had never really been in here, only a few times on occasion, and even then it was only for a few minutes, to retrieve something or speak to Sedusa. My heart sank a bit when I realized how dusty some of the things in here were. Sucking in a breath, I widened the doors as far as they could go, and brought in all the supplies.
The study was a lot bigger than it first looked, so I obviously had my work cut out for me.
First, I dusted, wiping down every surface until it was free of the stuff. Some of the furniture was covered in it, so I opened the large windows to air out the room. After that was finished, I swept and mopped the hardwood floor, and vacuumed the decorative carpet.
Looking at the clock, I noted that it was now 6:00.
What are Bubbles, Buttercup, and the boys doing now? I questioned silently. I frowned sadly; I had no way to reach them. Sedusa had taken my phone, and locked it away somewhere…I had no idea where. Suddenly, I heard a small beep from out of nowhere. I jumped at the noise, looking around wildly. Sedusa's landline was quiet, and the television was off.
Beep.
There it was again! Moving around the room, I tried to pinpoint the sound. It sounded like it was coming from Sedusa's desk. I slid open the drawers one by one. Just before I reached the last drawer, I heard it.
Beep.
I smiled, and flung open the drawer. There, resting on top of a pile of papers and folders, sat my IPhone. Completely forgetting about my chores, I grabbed it and jumped up and down happily.
"YES!" I cried, clutching my phone. I turned it on, itching to text the girls. My stomach dropped when I read the notification on my home screen.
LOW BATTERY.
"Dammit!" I cursed. I rushed out of the study and downstairs, jumping down the steps to the basement. I quickly plugged in my charger and attached the cord to my phone. To my relief, the phone started charging. I hid it under my pillow and messed up my comforter so it covered the charger. Then I dashed back upstairs to finish cleaning the study before Sedusa and Princess came home.
"I just have to polish all the pictures and then I'm finally done!" I said, my voice cheerful. My punishment was almost over! I took the rag and polish out and got to work, rotating around the room. Twenty minutes passed, and I was done with the wall pictures. Now I had to polish all the little photos and trinkets on Sedusa's desk. I was just finishing polishing a picture of Princess, a gold trophy in her hands, when I noticed I accidentally left the drawer that had my phone in it open. I laughed to myself, and went around the desk to close it. Before I did, however, my eyes caught on bright red lettering on the manila folder that was resting on the top. It read 'IMPORTANT', yet the folder looked crisp and untouched. Curious now, I set the polish and rag down and picked up the folder, turning it over in my hands. It felt a little heavy, and I could hear papers shifting inside. The front of the folder had a name written on it in small, neat letters.
Blossom Utonium, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Utonium
My eyebrows furrowed. Why would Sedusa have a folder addressed to me - one that I had never seen before, I might add -…unless she was hiding it from me.
I glanced at the time. 6:20.
I slid an envelope opener underneath the flap and ripped open the folder in one quick slice. I reached inside and withdrew the papers. Reading the first line of the front page, I gasped and promptly dropped the papers onto Sedusa's desk.
The first line was written in a heart wrenchingly familiar scrawl, and it brought tears to my eyes.
This document, written by John Alexander Utonium, is my last testament and will.
I sat down shakily in the cushy armchair behind Sedusa's desk. My father never wrote a will, at least that's what Sedusa told me. She said he never had the time, so everything he owned went to her by default. My fists clenched as I reread the first line.
"She lied…" I growled under my breath. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. My hands relaxed and I picked up the papers once more, forcing myself to keep reading. I had always been a fast reader, so I was done only a few minutes later. What I read shocked me to the core.
Everything was mine.
Not Sedusa's. Not Princess'.
Mine.
MINE.
The house, the heirlooms, the money…it was all mine. From the very beginning. Sedusa had no right to it.
What's more, my father said he never wanted to marry Sedusa. He was forced to, Sedusa saying she would sue him if he didn't. He didn't want to lose me or any of the family heirlooms that meant so much to me, so he didn't have a choice.
"Oh, Daddy…" I whispered.
Surprisingly, I didn't cry. Finding my father's hidden will, and then finding out that everything was mine…it made me feel strong. I decided, right then and there, that I was going to take this to court.
"I'm done with you, Sedusa." I said to the empty house. My voice echoed through the house, my house.
"You can't push me around anymore."
XXX
[7:00 PM – Wednesday night, the Utonium residence]
After I had reread Dad's will, I replaced it in the manila folder and discovered something else in the drawer. A small silver key. It took me a little while, but I found it unlocked a closet that was hidden behind a bookcase built into the wall. Sedusa had gone through a lot of trouble to keep it from me, and I discovered that the closet held all of my mother's instruments, the ones she had taught me to play, and ones that she had purchased for me to play in the future. These instruments were more modern; guitars and a drum set and two keyboards, and I couldn't help but smile at my mother's intuition. These were exactly what the girls and I needed.
"There!" I said, wiping my hands on my pants. I had just finished bringing the instruments downstairs and putting the cleaning supplies away. My father's will was safely hidden with my dress inside my beanbag.
I looked at the grandfather clock again. 7:15. Might as well take a shower, I desperately needed one.
Smiling to myself, I grabbed a change of clothes and a towel and used one of the guest bathrooms to wash up.

[7:30 PM – Wednesday night, Utonium residence]
I sighed again, but this one was of contentment. I was clean and felt refreshed. I had changed into a new outfit, grey sweatpants and a pink t-shirt, and had dried my hair using Princess' designer hair dryer.
I snickered to myself. If I was being literal it was my hair dryer, since she bought it with my money.
I sat back on the couch in the living room, a cup of hot tea in my hands. I took a long sip and closed my eyes.
"BLOSSOM!" A very loud yell startled me from my seat. The front door flung open, and two figures came running at me. Before I was tackled I managed to set my cup on the table so it was out of the way.
Then I was on the floor, underneath a blonde and a ravenette.
"Blossom oh my gosh are you okay we were so worried but it's okay cuz we're here now and we have a plan and Sedusa won't be able to get you -" Bubbles rambled. I laughed.
"Bubbles, stop, hold on!" I said, stopping her rant. My two best friends looked at me, concerned. I smiled widely.
"It's okay, Sedusa can't hurt me now." I said. They nodded slowly.
"Yeah, because we are going to get you out of here tonight and -" I cut Buttercup off, still smiling.
"That's not what I mean." I said. Bubbles' eyebrows furrowed.
"You mean…you don't want to go on tour with us?" She asked hesitantly. I shook my head.
"No, no, no, of course I want that!" I said reassuringly. "What I mean is, I found something today, something that says Sedusa has no hold over me."
"What is it?" BC asked, bewildered.
"My father's will." I replied. They were silent for a minute.
"OH MY GOD!" They both screamed simultaneously, tackling me to the floor again.
"What does it say?!" Buttercup demanded.
"I own EVERYTHING!" I squealed. Bubbles' grip on me tightened.
"Everything?" She questioned. I nodded eagerly.
"Everything! The house, the money, everything!" Buttercup and Bubbles laughed gleefully, me quickly joining. After a few minutes we managed to calm down, and Bubbles climbed to her feet, hauling Buttercup and I up as well.
"Hurry, we have to get ready!" She said, pointing to three large duffel bags that she had dropped by the doorway.
"For what?" I asked. Buttercup smiled mischievously and Bubbles giggled.
"Our debut concert is tonight at 8, Townsville Park." The blonde said, and my jaw dropped.
"Seriously?!" I shouted, looking at Bubbles then back at Buttercup. They nodded.
"You up for it?" Buttercup challenged. I laughed.
"Let's do it!"

[8:15 PM – Wednesday night, Townsville Park]
No One's POV
Even though the concert had just started, the area was filled with teenagers. Most were curious about this last minute concert, and the mysterious new band that was debuting. Others (consisting of the majority of the girls in the crowd) were only there for the RowdyRuff Boys.
Speaking of which, the three rock stars were currently standing by the stage, conversing with Tony, Robert, and Michael. Both Buttercup's parents were there, and were introduced to the boys. Bianca was present as well, but she was in the trailer on a phone call. Mitch was behind his DJ booth, and he was playing some music to keep the crowd entertained while they waited for the girls to show up. It was obvious he was very good at his job.
"Hey guys!" A voice shouted from behind them. The RRBs, Riveras, and Sonic Boom CEOs turned to look at the voice coming from 'backstage'.
Buttercup, Bubbles, and Blossom appeared from the trees, obviously parking by Brick's truck.
Buttercup was wearing black short shorts and a loose, slightly see-through green tank top with a white broken heart on the front. A tight black camisole was on underneath her top. A black and white striped belt was around her hips, and black high top converse were in her feet. Her hair was down as usual. Her makeup was minimal, black eyeliner, mascara, and clear lip gloss.
Butch wolf-whistled and wrapped an arm around Buttercup, kissing her cheek. She smiled up at him.
Bubbles was dressed in a white tank top tucked into a pair of light blue short shorts, a brown belt around her hips. A frayed jean vest was over her top, and a pair of strappy brown sandals was on her feet. Her blonde hair was down, held back by a light blue headband. Her makeup was minimal as well. She only wore black eyeliner, mascara, and pink lip gloss.
Boomer kissed her as soon as she got close, and she giggled, snuggling into his arms.
Blossom's outfit was a pair of jean short shorts and a black tank top with a pink lace crop top attached to it, stopping just below her chest. A white belt with pink rhinestones was around her hips, and black, white, and pink high top sneakers were on her feet. Her long auburn hair was straightened and left down, and her makeup was black eyeliner, mascara, and red lip gloss.
Brick hugged her tightly.
"You look sexy." He whispered in her ear, making her cheeks turn red. He smirked and draped an arm across her shoulders.
Brick was dressed in a pair of black pants and a tight red v-neck. Black and red high tops were on his feet, and his hair was back in a low ponytail, his signature red hat on his head.
Butch was wearing ripped jeans and a tight forest green sleeveless shirt. Dark green converse were on his feet. His black hair was spiked up in its usual style.
Boomer had on dark jeans and a tight navy blue long-sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. Blue Air Jordans were on his feet, and his dirty blonde hair was tussled from him running his fingers through it repeatedly.
Boomer made the introductions between the girls and Tony, Robert, and Michael. After they were finished, Bianca came out of the trailer. She was smiling, and she crushed Blossom in a hug as soon as she saw her.
"You will do amazing!" She said confidently. The girls smiled at her, and turned to the RRBs.
"What's the game plan?" Buttercup asked. Butch smirked.
"It's a movie, Butters." He said. She rolled her eyes and slapped his chest. He feigned being hurt, but Buttercup simply scoffed. Butch smiled and nuzzled his face into her hair. The others laughed at the two.
"We're going to go onstage and sing a song, act as your opening act." Brick explained, giving Blossom a squeeze and making her blush again. "After that, you girls will go on and perform. You know what you're going to do, right?" He asked. Blossom nodded.
"Yes, we have three songs picked out." She said.
"Are you using instruments or dancing?" Boomer asked. Bubbles giggled.
"We're going to dance." The blue-eyed girl said. The boys nodded and left the girls to go onstage.

[8:30 PM – Wednesday night, Townsville Park]
"Alright everybody, listen up!" Mitch said into his mic. The crowd stilled, eyes onstage, where Brick, Boomer, and Butch were getting ready to perform. This time, they were dancing too.
"Now, I know you all have been waiting patiently, and now it's finally that time!" Mitch said. "If you would please give it up for tonight's opening act, the RowdyRuff Boys!"
While the crowd was confused on the opening act part – the RRBs were a huge band, they didn't do opening acts – they cheered anyway, getting excited for the concert.
"Okay, guys, this song is dedicated to our wonderful girlfriends, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup!" Brick said. The crowd cheered louder, but their curiosity grew.
Backstage, Bubbles squealed happily and jumped up and down. Blossom blushed wildly and stared at Brick, wide-eyed. He saw and winked at her, and her blush grew. Buttercup smirked and crossed her arms, bumping her hip with Blossom's.
"I saw that." She whispered, looking at Blossom knowingly.

Butch: Hey! Where's the drums?
Boomer: Oh whoa-oh-oh-oh
Brick: Let's go!
Boomer: Ooh girl you're shining
Like a 5th avenue diamond
And they don't make you like they used to
You're never going out of style
Brick: Ooh pretty baby
This world might've gone crazy
The way you save me
Who can blame me
When I just wanna make you smile?
Butch: I wanna thrill you like Michael
I wanna kiss you like Prince
Let's get it on like Marvin Gaye
Like Hathaway
Write a song for you like this
The boys' dance moves were making the crowd cheer even louder, especially the girls in the crowd. The three brothers smiled at each other.
All: You're over my head
I'm out of my mind
Thinking I was born in the wrong time
One of a kind, living in a world gone plastic
Baby you're so classic
Baby you're so classic
(Boomer: Baby you)
Baby you're so classic
Boomer: Four dozen of roses
Anything for you to notice
All the way to serenade you
Doing it Sinatra style
Butch: Ima pick you up in a Cadillac
Like a gentleman bringin' glamour back
Keep it reel to reel in the way I feel
I could walk you down the aisle
Brick: I wanna thrill you like Michael
I wanna kiss you like Prince
Let's get it on like Marvin Gaye
Like Hathaway
Write a song for you like this
All: You're over my head
I'm out of my mind
Thinking I was born in the wrong time
It's love on rewind,
Everything is so throwback-ish
(Butch: I kinda like it, like it)
Out of my league
Old school chic
Like a movie star
From the silver screen
You're one of a kind living in a world gone plastic
Baby you're so classic
Baby you're so classic
Baby you're so classic
As the boys performed they sent winks and smirks to the girls. Bubbles was smiling broadly and Blossom was still blushing, and Buttercup was just laughing and shaking her head.
Butch: Baby you're class and baby you're sick
I never met a girl like you ever til we met
A star in the 40s, centerfold in the 50s
Got me tripping out like the sixties
Hippies Queen of the discotheque
A 70s dream and an 80s best
Hepburn, Beyoncé, Marilyn, Massive
Girl you're timeless, just so classic
All: You're over my head I'm out of my mind
Thinking I was born in the wrong time
It's love on rewind,
Everything is so throwback-ish
(Brick: I kinda like it, like it)
Out of my league
Old school chic
Like a movie star
From the silver screen
You're one of a kind living in a world gone plastic
Baby you're so classic
Baby you're so classic
Baby you're so classic
The song ended and the crowd screamed, applauding loudly. The RowdyRuff Boys bowed and left the stage. They jumped onto the ground and each one picked up their significant other and kissed them thoroughly.
Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup all agreed to be their official girlfriends.
The couples were pulled away from their happy moment when Mitch took the mic again.
"Are you guys pumped yet?!" He shouted. In response, the people in the crowd cheered and yelled and clapped. Mitch raised a fist in the air. "Awesome! Now, prepare to get even MORE pumped, because up next we have our main act…" He paused, and everyone in the crowd leaned forward to see who these newcomers were.
"THE POWERPUFF GIRLS!"
