When we arrived at the parking garage at Lex Luthor's company in Metropolis, I feared we were too late.

Oliver and Roy were gone when we got to the safe house so Abby and I knew we had to go straight to Metropolis.

The parking garage was smoking and completely destroyed. Luthor was nowhere in sight, but Roy was standing in front of Red and Oliver, all three in uniform, but Roy without a mask. Roy was smiling. It wasn't gentle, like when Red was looking at me. It was cold, calculating, and smiting.

"Roy!" I yelled and in their direction, Abby right on my heels.

All three turned to see us. Red had told Oliver about my return, but his look said that he couldn't believe I was really here. I stopped just two feet away from them.

Roy pushed passed Red and Oliver to get to me. I guess even after eight years he still recognized me. "Erin," he whispered.

That's when I finally saw the robotic arm now attached to Roy.

Huffing, I asked desperately, "You didn't do it, did you?"

"No, Luther's still alive," Red answered.

Relief washed over me.

Roy turned on Red. "Don't you dare talk to her!"

"Roy!" This definitely wasn't going to be good. "He has every right to talk to me!"

Roy looked around, like he was just realizing the situation. "Erin, what are you doing here?"

"I came to make sure everyone was okay."

He looked taken back. "How did you know about all of this?" His eyes shone. "Have you been watching over me? This whole time?"

Oh crap. "No, unfortunately not, Roy." I said honestly.

"Then how did you know I was here?" Roy asked. "How do you know all about this?"

I gave a meek, half-hearted smile. "Reporter instincts."

Roy's smile, however, was wide. "It's good to know you haven't changed." He leaned in and kissed me.

I couldn't help it. I pushed him away.

The look of surprise on his face hurt, but it was avoidable.

"I'm sorry, Erin," Roy said. "I just thought–"

"I do care about you, Roy," I interrupted, "but there's someone else." I held my hand out to Red, who gave me his signature smile, meant only for me, and laced his fingers through mine.

Roy didn't take it well.

"You took my life and now you take her! I didn't blame you for living my life, but for taking Erin away, I can blame you! I see where I stand now." Roy turned, picked up a metal suitcase I just now noticed and took off.

"Roy!" I called after him. "Roy, come back!"

"Let him go," Red said. "He needs time to figure things out."

He was right. This is how it would end up, no matter what.

I wrap my arms around Red's neck and hold him close. "I'm so glad you're okay."

"And I'm glad that you're all right." He kissed my forehead. "Does this mean we're going to try and pick things back up?"

I nodded. "I've missed you too much. And I'm done over thinking things. I know what I want and I'm going after it."

And for the first time since I've been dead, I kissed Red, deeply and passionately.

"Ah-hem."

I pulled away and looked towards the sound.

Oliver was standing there with a smirk on his face.

"I've missed you, too, Ollie," I laughed as I pulled him into a hug.

"So, I guess I'm not the worst mentor in the world?"

I pulled out of the hug and hit Oliver in the shoulder. "Compared to Clark or even Bruce, I say that you're the best."

Red added, "The most father like, at least."
