Lee looked at Gaara as the latter thanked him. What he was thanking him for, he wasn't sure. But he had a good idea what it was about. Lee was the first person who gave the Kazekage a chance, and both Gaara and Lee knew that. He was his friend, his boyfriend, his employee, and occasionally a sparring partner. Heglanced at his companion warmly, biting his lip impatiently as he madehis way over to Gaara's side of the desk.

He reached his bandaged hand out to Gaara, hesitantly. Previously, Gaara had always been the one to make the first move...to test the boundaries. But now that they both knew where they stood with one another, it was Lee's turn. Except he was extraordinarily nervous about reaching out to Gaara. He had never been with anyone before-boy or girl-so this all was a new experience for him. He felt as unskilled in basic humanity as he had growing up as a ninja.

His hand halted three inches away from Gaara's face, when the Kazekage sighed in exasperation. He stood up and walked a step closer to Lee, forcing Lee's hand to touch his face. The jounin's eyes flickered in surprise, though it soon lit up with a sheepish grin. It was certainly something when the socially inept redhead had to be the one to tell you to get a move on. He let his hand wander over Gaara's face, traveling to his scar on the forehead. He traced over the lines of the kanji, as though he were re-applying it.

'His skin is so soft...and flawless.' He searched Gaara's face for any sign of a blemish. Dirt, a spot, a scratch...anything. But all he found was his perfect skin. Gaara closed his eyes and stepped closer, leaning his face into Lee's hand, who grinned. 'Apparently the Kazekage found something he enjoyed, besides fruit.' thought Lee. Gaara was reaching a finger to trace Lee's eyebrow when the orange kitten weaved between their legs. The young men pulled apart, Lee snorting in amusement. "Jealous little feline..." He muttered, rubbing at his neck self consciously. He had been getting all too wrapped in the kazekage as it was, and paying less attention to their surroundings.

Gaara picked up the troublesome kitten and walked around to his side of the desk, sitting in his seat. Lee followed his lead, sitting opposite him. They sat in awkward silence for a few moments, both watching the twitching of the kittens tail. But Gaara started when the kitten pounced out of his lap, skidding across his desk and scattering his paperwork across the floor. He sighed irritably, He still had work to do. But didn't want to do it with Lee here. It was their time, currently.

Lee picked up on Gaara's inner struggle, reaching for the kitten. "I'll take care of...the kitten. While you finish your work..." he stated helpfully. He looked to Gaara in confusion. "Does it have a name?" he asked distractedly, watching Gaara pick up his papers from the floor. "Hmmm..." Gaara hummed thoughtfully, straightening up and turning to face Lee. "No it doesn't. Although it lives it my office, with me. It refuses to leave. So, feel free to name it." he added. Lee nodded determinedly, heading towards the door to leave Gaara to his work. "Gaara...I'll check in again later...maybe we can take a break, then?" Lee requested, turning red. He remembered what he told Gaara...as boyfriends you do things together not to mention, he liked his company. Gaara looked at Lee, straightening the pile of papers on his desk. He looked from Lee, to the cat, allowing a small smirk to light up his features before nodding.

It was midnight before Lee headed back to the Kazekage office. He had left the kitten in his own office, sleeping peacefully. Lee grabbed his bag of fruit and opened his office door quietly, careful not to wake the orange fluffball from it's slumber. He entered the hallway and sighed deeply in relief. The pesky kitten had been trying all night to get back to Gaara.. But who could blame it? Lee raised his eyebrows. If he were the kitten, he would want to sleep in Gaara's lap all day, too.

Shrugging off that embarrassing thought, he opened his backpack, inspecting the fruit he brought with him. No pears... but apples and grapes. 'Oh well.' Lee thought, sighing to himself. His boyfriend would have to try something new. Lee stopped mid-step as thought about what he just said to himself. "Boyfriend." said Lee aloud, blushing fiercely. It was the first time he had confronted himself about his relationship with the Kazekage. But after a moments thought, he shook his head, trying to chase his embarrassment away, and ran to Gaara's office.

He opened the door to Gaara's office and peeked inside. His red-headed boyfriend looked up from a paper on his desk, motioning him inside. Lee cautiously walked inside, holding his bag to his chest. He felt vulnerable around Gaara sometimes. Especially now that they were. Involved. Just the simple word made his heart pound. He walked over to take a seat on the other side of the kazekage desk, Gaara watching his every suddenly stood up to remove his Kazekage robe and put on his stubborn trenchcoat, then turning to look at Lee expectantly, who jumped to his feet. Just as soon as he sat, too. But it was amusing to witness his nervous antics.

The two ninja stepped out the window of the Kazekage office, walking on the roof of the office building. They could've just used the stairs, but this was the route Gaara always took. They walked across the roof to sit at the top, and watch the stars. It was an old habit of Gaara's. He didn't sleep, so he liked to watch the sky. Lee looked at Gaara, thinking of how detached he seemed. Reaching into his bag, Lee pulled out a branch of grapes, handing them to Gaara.

The kazekage looked at them suspiciously. "What is that?" he asked inquiringly. Lee frowned briefly at Gaara. "Grapes." he answered, waving them under his nose. Gaara's eyes watched the movement of the grapes, unsure. Lee sighed and plucked a grape, popping it into his mouth. "See? It's not a pear...but it's good." he stated with his mouth full. Gaara still looked doubtful, so Lee plucked another one, going to put it in the Kazekage's hand, but before he could, Gaara took the hand with the grape, holding it still. He inspected the fruit for a moment, then moved Lee's hand towards his mouth, using the jounin's hand to feed himself.

Lee tried to keep the shocked look from entering his face, pulling his hand back as Gaara released him. He watched as Gaara bit into the grape, the curiosity crossing his features when he tasted the splash of fruit juice. Lee leaned back on his elbows and smiled. Lee closed his eyes briefly, letting the moonlight wash over his face. It was nice to be up here with Gaara...to be trusted enough to come up to the Kazekage's favorite spot. Lee smiled gently, opening his eyes to grab himself another grape, Gaara watching him closely. He could see the kazekage lick his lips slowly as he watched Lee put the fruit in his mouth.

The jounin looked away from Gaara for a moment, his attention grabbed by a shimmering star. He tilted his head to the side, watching it glitter like a diamond, but was interrupted when Gaara tackled him. Lee spluttered in shock, bracing himself against the rooftop. Gaara had tackled him full force. He was sitting on Lee's chest, leaning over him. He looked into Lee's eyes, scrutinizing him carefully, his eyes trailing to Lee's mouth. Gaara leaned in to kiss Lee, forcing his mouth open and tasting his lips and tongue. He pulled back with a satisfied smirk "Fruity." he noted. Lee blinked in confusion. 'Fruity?' he replayed to himself. Oh, right, the grapes. But Lee's attention was shattered when Gaara leaned over him again, putting his lips next to his ear and tracing a line with his tongue.

"Gaara..."Lee hissed

. "Mmmm?" the kazekage whispered sensuously, his tongue still playing with Lee's senses. 'Discretion!' Lee's common sense screamed at him. "G-Gaara...public..." Lee muttered. One of them had to be reasonable, didn't they?

" I don't care." Gaara growled arrogantly. Lee moaned as Gaara laid himself flat against him, rubbing himself against the green jounin roughly. Lee twitched his hips, one thought after another racing through his head.

'... Not a good idea!' his conscience nagged at him. Lee shuddered in pleasure as Gaara traced lines on his sides, the hands drifting up his chest. It was more exploratory than anything. But even just that felt good, when it was Gaara touching him.

'DISCRETION!' Lee's conscience screamed at him again. Lee sighed, attepmting to sit up. But Gaara growled and rubbed himself against Lee harder. The jounin laughed lightly, looking into Gaara's eyes. "Gaara-wait. . We have to be cautious, and this isn't. We're on an office building in the middle of town, and anyone could see us." Lee tried to explain breathlessly.

Gaara appeared to think it over. He slowly climbed away from Lee, with a sulky expression on his face. 'Hmmm...not used to not getting his way...' Lee thought amusedly. He stood up, taking a deep breath, hoping to calm his body down. He looked at the sky, it was starting to lighten with the early morning rays. It appeared he and Gaara had spent a few hours out on the roof. He turned to Gaara, who was still looking at Lee with a hungry expression. The jounin rolled his eyes and headed for the window. It was time to head back. And he knew Gaara would follow
