Hey guys! I'm so sorry that I haven't been updating my stories much lately. I'm also sorry if my writing has gotten worse because I haven't been writing many fanfics recently. But I hope you enjoy this chapter anyway. Oh, and thank you for your reviews!

Disclaimer: I don't own Austin & Ally

Chapter 11

I walk into the house, closing the door quietly so I can just go into my room without anyone making a fuss. When the door clicks softly, I stay quiet to make sure that no one heard. I breathe a sigh of relief when I realise that no one seems to have noticed, before I make my way upstairs.

"How was your date?" I hear an all too familiar voice say behind me.

I turn around on the stairs, only to see none other than Cassidy at the bottom of the stairs, with her arms folded over her chest.

"My what?" I ask her, a little nervously.

"Your date... Y'know, with Austin," she says, "I mean, I just assumed that since you left together, then you went on a date or something."

"Oh..." I laugh a little, awkwardly brushing my hair out of my face with my hand. Cassidy gives me a weird look, so I clear my throat and say, "It was good."

She smiles a little, before she speaks up, "That's nice."

I nod awkwardly, not quite sure why she is acting this way. "Okay, well I'm going to just... go to my room now."

"Okay," she replies, with the same smile on her face, except it grows wider as she speaks. And it turns into more of a smirk.

I begin walking up the stairs slowly, still confused as to why Cassidy is acting this way.

"Bye," Cassidy calls from behind me, before she starts walking away into another room.

"Uh... Bye," I reply, with a little wave.

I stand there for a few seconds, still trying to figure out what just happened. Cassidy was actually nice to me, even though she thinks that I'm dating her crush? That just doesn't seem right.

I walk into my room, closing the door behind me. I sit on my bed, before grabbing my phone and dialling Austin's number.

After a few rings, Austin finally picks up:

"Hello?"

"Austin, something weird just happened..." I say, not even bothering to say 'hi'.

"What? But Dallas said that you two had a good time tonight," he tells me.

"We did. This weird thing that I'm talking about happened when I got back to the house."

"What happened?" he asks me.

"Well, I was walking up to my room and Cassidy suddenly started asking me about how the date went with you, and then she started smiling at me and being all nice about it... It was weird..." I say.

"Do you think she's finally over me?" he questions, hopefully.

"No, she liked you this morning, I doubt she's suddenly started disliking you in a few hours," I state.

I hear Austin sigh at the other end of the phone, and I start giggling.

"Well, maybe she's just accepted the fact that I don't like her, since I'm dating you. Well, she thinks I'm dating you," Austin says.

"Maybe," I reply.

We're both silent for a few seconds, before Austin speaks up:

"Okay, well, I'm going to go now."

"Okay, bye," I say.

"Bye," he replies, before we both hang up.

I sigh, not sure what to do now. I decide to go back downstairs and have something to eat.

When I go downstairs and into the kitchen, I see that Holly and Trish are already in there, making sandwiches for everyone in the house as a snack.

"Hey, how'd your date go?" Holly asks me, smiling.

"It went okay," I reply, smiling as well. I guess everyone is just assuming that I went on a date with Austin. "Has Cassidy been acting weird since I've been gone?" I ask.

"What do you mean?" Trish questions.

"Well, she was actually quite nice to me when I got back earlier... It just didn't seem like her really," I answer.

"Oh. Well, she's been her usual annoying self all day," Trish says.

"She's not that bad..." Holly states. "She can just get a bit... what's the word I'm looking for?"

"Annoying?" Trish replies.

Holly rolls her eyes, before she continues to make sandwiches, ignoring Trish's comment.

I giggle a bit. "Not that her being nice is a bad thing, I'm just confused as to why she's suddenly being so nice to me. Especially since I'm dating her crush."

"Well, maybe she's being more mature about the situation," Trish suggests.

"Yeah, that's what i was thinking..." I reply. "Anyway, do you want some help making the sandwiches?" I ask.

"No, it's okay," Holly answers, turning her head quickly to look at me, before looking back at the sandwich she is making.

"Okay, if you're sure," I say.

"Ally, it's fine," Trish tells me.

I nod, standing there awkwardly. "Well, I'll just go then..." I walk out of the kitchen, and into the living room. "Hey everyone!" I say.

"Hey," they all reply, some more enthusiastic than others.

"I was just telling everyone how good your date with Austin went," Cassidy tells me.

"Um, cool," I reply, smiling weakly.

"Do you want to sit next to me and tell me more about your little date?" Cassidy questions, gesturing to the empty space next to her.

"Uh, well, the date wasn't that interesting..." I say.

"Aw, it must've been. I mean, Austin's not the type of person to not take you on a good date," Cassidy replies.

"Well, I guess, but-" she interrupts me before I can finish my sentence.

"Just come and sit here."

I sigh, before I go and sit next to her.

"So, what happened on the date?" she asks me.

"Nothing much, we just sat and talked, and had a picnic..." I answer, nervously.

"Did you kiss?"

"I guess..." I reply.

"You guess?" She raises an eyebrow.

"I-I mean, yeah," I say, quickly.

Cassidy starts smiling. "That's sweet."

"Really?" I ask her.

"Yeah!" she replies.

Everyone in the room looks at Cassidy weirdly. I guess I'm not the only one who thinks she's acting a bit strange.

"Okay, well I'm going to go and take a shower now." I stand up and hurry out of the room before Cassidy can ask more questions. I go upstairs and take a quick shower, before changing into a pair of comfy shorts and a t-shirt. I decide to stay upstairs incase Cassidy keeps bringing up the date that she thinks Austin and I went on.

There is definitely something going on. Cassidy is acting different. It's a good kind of different, but for some reason, I don't like it.

So... Was this chapter okay?:-) Anyway, I most likely won't be updating any of my stories until after Christmas, so Merry Christmas! I hope you all get lovely presents and that you have a good Christmas.

Stay Rossome!
