The next day things with Dipper seemed to change little by little. Wendy wondered if Robbie would appear around any corners, or if he had left the town completely. She thought she had known the angsty teen... but after what he did to Dipper, she wasn't entirely sure if she could even trust what she had known about him. Yeah he was a jerk and an ass, but she didn't take him to be the violent type. No one really thought he would do half the things he said he would. But now... this shed more light on the male. But Dipper... he didn't seem as relaxed and calm anymore. He seemed to have stopped even trying to remember anything from before, either that or he became too tired of trying. He solely relied on what Mabel told him for truth, and that was all. Hardly any memories of his own, and what were his own were little. She liked... no she loved Dipper, no matter if he could remember anything or not. He was still kind to her, more shy than before, but still more kind than any one she could ever remember being to her.

"What if he never remembers anything else?" she asked to no one in particular, she didn't even think there was anyone still home. Stan had come to take Tambry, Mabel, and Dipper into town to do some shopping. Out of character for the gruff older man, but even he was concerned about what might happen. It was amazing to think about what could happen without realizing anything could happen. The incident with Dipper must have really had an effect on the older man.

"Well, then he doesn't remember." A voice made her jump, until she realized who it was, and she was the reason that she stayed behind. She turned and looked at her mother. The same long red hair, freckled face, and green eyes. With the exception of what her mother wore, she looked like an older Wendy. Wendy got up, then ran over to her mother. Wendy had really never the type for this. However the past few days... weeks... months had taken their tole on her and slowly she was being drug under by a weight of emotions. Her mother embraced her and held her tightly. "It'll be alright. He's awake, and the doctors did say it could take time, right?"

Wendy tried to say something in agreement, however with her face buried in her mother's shoulder, it didn't sound like anything to her but her mother seemed to have a good idea what she had said and again assured her that it would be alright. Though she wasn't entirely sure if she could believe it or not. Once she calmed down enough, she was able to explain what happened. She told her mother about how Robbie had seemed to vanish over night after Dipper had woken up. More than once her mother had tried to convince her to just go home with her, and let things here sort itself out. Dipper and Mabel would return to their homes, she would go to be with her family. But each time she refused, that wasn't what she wanted, she wanted to be with Dipper. She didn't care if there was danger she just wanted to be with him.

This is exhausting, Dipper thought while following Mabel in the store. He could tell his sister was hyper even without memories, but even he wasn't ready for this. She was like... well he couldn't remember anything to give a reference, but he knew what ever she was like... it didn't move fast enough, or long enough to keep up with her. He looked up to where his sister had been, and put his head in in his hand a second. One second, he looked away for one second, and boom she was gone. Aisle by aisle he searched through the store. When he heard a loud 'whooping' sound... he realized he had been using the wrong sense to find his sister, he had been looking when he should have been listening... he should remember that it was a rarity that she even stopped talking or making noise. He followed the sound of an excited Mabel, which he assumed would mean a frustrated staff for this store, when he finally found her... he wasn't sure exactly how she had managed to balance all those things on top of each other, but there it was, in the middle of the aisle.

"Come on Mabel," If he had of been in a better mood, or at least had some energy he might would have complimented her instead of grabbing her arm and dragging her back to the last place he had seen Stan.

"But... But... I was going to do the ham next!" Mabel protested all the way to the registers where they met up with Stan, who seemed to have had a much better time helping Tambry. He appreciated that Stan would take them to the store... he was worried about Robbie trying something as much as everyone else was. But he wasn't sure who he was helping protect the girls from... No one had been able to produce a picture of the boy, and he couldn't remember what he looked like. But given the description they gave him, he would obviously stand out in this town.

The smug look on Stan's face said that he had, had an easier time. On the way back to Wendy's house, they stopped at some fast food place, Dipper had learned. Mabel plus food, equals quiet... at least until the food was gone anyways. Now that all the wild antics were over for a moment. Gruncle Stan was driving, Tambry busy on whatever social media site, or just surfing the web on her phone, he didn't know and never bothered to ask. Mabel was quiet, or well as quiet as she was while eating, still quieter than usual.

He was left with his own thoughts. He continued to think, or try to think about things that existed before the hospital. But nothing was coming to him. It was like each thought that existed before hand, was behind a bolted door. It frustrated him to no end, so he didn't bother much with it. Either it would come back, or he would just rely on what his sister told him. He had a good way of telling if she was being truthful or not. Some thing's she'd tell him, and it would sound natural to him, the thought of him doing, or acting that way would feel comfortable. And some things... he just knew was lie. But lately he couldn't think beyond the redheaded teen that was so fascinated with him. He didn't know much about his life, but he knew that this didn't happen. Teenaged girls did not fall for boys younger than them. He wished he knew what it was that attracted her, wished he knew what he should say around her... wished he had the guts to kiss her like he remembered. But that was what his mind ran to whenever he tried to remember anything. Wendy.

As many times before, thinking had to take a back seat because they had arrived back at Wendy's. The car in the driveway a sign that Wendy's mother had arrived... he wondered if this would be another awkward moment of meeting someone that knew him, but he had nothing to go on... That was one of the only parts that really sucked. All these people seemed to know everything about him, and he was left in the dark about himself, and them. But he would grit his teeth and bare it. It took him a moment to realize the car had stopped and everyone had stopped and was looking at him, from outside the car. He hadn't even heard the doors close.

Once he was out of the car, he grabbed the bags of the things he had bought. When Mabel was kind enough to tag along... which he must admit, compared to how she totally went wild after he had finished buying what he needed... she had shown a considerable amount of restraint when walking with him... even when he took a while to pick a few special things up. He walked in well behind everyone else, who were now putting things away, or taking them out of bags. Stan had put his stuff down and said he needed to go back to the Shack before Soos blew something up... or something. He didn't seem to be sure about what might happen.

Tambry decided to go take a bath, now that she had some of the things she had forgotten to pack, in fear that Robbie might show up at any time. Mabel disappeared into the kitchen, which was one of the things he liked, it usually meant that she was cooking something. He hadn't looked up at anyone the entire time, while he was taking things out of the bags, and was sure to keep some of the things he had bought hidden for now.

"He looks a bit taller standing up... just as quiet though," a female voice said... he knew that voice...Remembered hearing it before. He just turned and looked at the woman... an older, version of Wendy. If this was any indication of what Wendy would look like... he was one very lucky boy. But that wasn't on his mind at the moment he was trying to place that voice. He hadn't even remember before now...

He was back in that place, the white place. He remembered hearing this woman and Wendy talk about how he looked small and other things, that now he knew he was in a coma, they must have been at the hospital before he woke up. Concerned voices, nice and soft... But once he remembered just hearing that voice talking just to him. He now remembered it, like it had just happened.

"I don't know if you can hear me." That voice had said, it had made him feel safe. But the voice continued. "My daughter has been here for days. If you don't wake up it'll crush her."

He tried answering it then, but she replied to nothing he said. Had talked about Wendy when she was younger, now he realized that she was just looking for things to say to a person that couldn't answer. Now it seemed like she was trying to be motherly to him, since his parents hadn't shown up often. He realized he had just been staring for a while...

"I remember you," he ignored the confused looks, obviously what he said didn't align with that they had been saying to him. He hadn't heard them anyways.

"We've never met." Wendy's mother looked over at Wendy, maybe trying to find out if something was wrong with him.

"No... you talked to me. I did hear you, You told me stories... about..." he looked over at Wendy, as her mother just stared at him. Guess from now on he should keep those kind of realizations to himself. If it only freaked people out. "It's nice to really meet you though."

The rest of they day went by better than expected, Tambry even talked a bit with everyone. And it wasn't just to apologize all over again, Mabel seemed to be happy to have another female in the house. Wendy looked just relieved to have her mother there. And the same was for her mother, just being here with her daughter seemed to make them all feel like normal had returned. All except him, he quietly got up, without anyone noticing, he made his way to the front door.

Outside the house, he sat in the same seat he always did. Funny, now the he thought about it, he didn't remember seeing this chair or the table that night he came here from hiding out in the woods. He had been tired, bruised and hungry... maybe he didn't notice because at the time, the cabin itself was just a relief to find. He leaned back in the chair, as his mind took over. This time he wasn't forcing himself to remember, it was happening naturally. The fight with Robbie, the woods, the hollowed out tree. Wendy searching for him, cleaning his cuts. His hand came went to his mouth as he felt the spot where his tooth was missing. He had forgotten that he lost a tooth... even before he lost his memory he had forgotten. After he started talking, it just didn't seem important... or by then he just hadn't noticed it was missing because it felt normal. He wasn't sure which it was.

But now he knew one thing... one important thing. He remembered what Robbie looked like. He didn't remember everything, not even close. But he remembered what the greasy goth kid looked like. Now he had something to go on. He could try to protect Wendy and Mabel, and everyone else if he showed up.

"Here you are," Wendy said shortly after stepping outside. It was dark now, but he could see her with the little light that came out the door, so beautiful. "Why did you leave?"

"Just getting some fresh air, and I like it out here." He looked at the seat next to him, a subtle offer, one that she seemed happy to take. There hadn't been very much interaction between then since he had come home, well since he had returned to her home. He couldn't help it, he knew that they were supposed to be dating. This was all new to him and she made him nervous. But now that he remembered a little from his time being here with her before all this happened. He felt a little more comfortable around her, "I don't think I ever thanked you for taking care of me after the woods."

"It was nothing... You would have done it..." She stopped and just looked at him, as a smile appeared across his face. She clung to him hugging him tightly. Obviously she was happy that he remembered something, anything else. She went to pull away, and he took a chance. He leaned in, and kissed her... slowly at first then more passionate.
