Me: Sorry fir the wait but let's get this over with! Disclaimer: I do now own KHII or KH BBS just my OC's Enjoy! Chapter 11
It took me awhile to get to the next world, since Destiny Islands was a bit farther away I was glad when my feet came in contact with solid ground. The sun was shining brightly in the blue cloudless sky with a coliseum farther ahead I cocked my head to the side Olympus Coliseum huh? "Hey you!" Someone called out I turned and saw a young man wearing a blue shirt, baggy pants with a sword strapped to his back and a helmet covering his face only showing his blue eyes.
He kept in walking until he stood in front of me "Are you new around here?" He asked I nodded "Well can you fight?" I nodded again "Yeah, why?" He smiled and pounded his fist against his chest. "Then I challenge you to a battle!" I blinked "What?" "You heard me I challenge you" the young man repeated "Why would I want to do that? I don't even know you!" I said looking at him like he was insane.
"Fine my names Zack Fair now let's battle!" Zack said determinedly I smirked "Okay fine my names Allison by the way." I won't deny it a match against Zack Fair? Sounds awesome. Zack smirked back at me with confidence in his eyes he led me to a courtyard before getting in a battle stance I summoned OathKeeper "No holding back got it?" He said I nodded "Got it." I charged forward whipping OathKeeper in a slashing motion Zack managed the doge it and swung his sword forward our blades locked as we tried to push each other back I smirked before jumping back catching him off guard before Zack could do anything I knocked his legs from under him and pinned him down with OathKeeper at his throat.
He blinked stunned before groaning "Aw man I lost! I can't believe it!" He whined I chuckled and offered him my hand he took it and pulled himself up "It was fun sparring with you" I smiled he returned it cheekily "Yeah at least you don't look sad anymore" I blinked "I looked…sad?" Zack nodded. "Yeah when I noticed you, you seemed to have a sad look on your face" I frowned "I see"
"What was that look for anyway?" I tensed up before sighing "Okay well you see…" Zack was deep in thought when I finished my explanation "That must have been bad for you" he said I sighed "Yeah but I need to find my friend so we can set things straight" Zack smiled at my words before he let out a cry "Oh Man!" I jumped "What!?" I asked worriedly "I forgot I gotta find someone wait here I'll be back! He said before running off.
I sweat-dropped before noticing Zack forgot his sword I shook my head in amusement right before I heard an explosion I jumped again before picking Zack's sword up and ran out. There was a swarm of Unversed huddled around in the plaza in the center I saw Zack dodging some of the attacks "Zack, catch!" I called out throwing him his sword I stood next to him when he caught it " Thanks I owe you one" he grinned. I grinned back "What kind of person leaves his sword?"
"Hey!" I snickered before focusing back on the Unversed. Zack and I teamed up against all the Unverse with Zack's strength and my speed the Unverse weren't much of a problem I guess I'm getting better at fighting. When all the Unversed where finished Zack grinned "I hope this impressed him" "Impressed who?" I asked curiously.
"Allison!?" I froze from my place next to Zack 'Oh no no no no' I thought seeing a familiar blonde next to an orange haired male and a satyr "A-Allison?" Ven repeated in shock dismissing WayWard Wind. Zack looked from Ven to me "Wait you guys know each other?" I turned away from him "You could say that" I said walking away from them. I kept walking until they were out of sight "Wait, Allison" Zack called out grabbing my arm I stopped walking "What?" I said not looking at him
"Is he the friend you were talking about?" My silence answered for me. Zack sighed "Okay then" I was suddenly thrown over his shoulder. "Holy-!" I squeaked "Zack!" I cried "What? You said you wanted to talk to him right? Looks like it's that time" even though I couldn't see him I'm pretty sure he was grinning.
I pounded on his back.
"No fair Zack!"
"I never said I was fair"
"…Your last name implies it"
"Hey don't go using that against me!"
I groaned hitting my forehead lightly against his back I am so going to kill Zack for this later.
10 minutes later
Zack finally put me down and pushed me forward I stumbled bumping into something or should I say someone. "Ventus" I said looking at him Zack had already left to give us privacy the blonde gave me a sad smile "Hey" I crossed my arms "What do you want?" I asked. "Look I-I'm sorry about what happened back in Radiant Garden" I tensed up remembering the events that took place before Ventus continued
"It's just that I couldn't believe that Terra and Aqua wanted me to go back home after all we'd been through, you seemed stronger then me and I took my anger out on you which wasn't fair or right to do I'm really sorry." Ventus finished looking guilty and ashamed. I stared at him slightly stunned at his apology
'He thinks I'm stronger then him?' I thought I smiled slightly I uncrossed my left arm and bumped his shoulder with my fist which stunned him he probably thought I was going to slug him or something. I just smiled with my hands behind my back "Well no point worrying about it now right? What's done is done" I shrugged Ventus looked at me in disbelief before he laughs me joining in not long after. Ventus held his hand out "We're cool?" He asked
I grinned and clasped hands with him "We're cool…Ven" his smile got bigger. "Well glad to see you two made up" we turned and saw Hercules smiling he offered his hand to me "Hi I'm Hercules but my friends call me Herc" I placed my hand in his "It's nice to meet you Herc" I smiled. "Yeah" "So Herc how about that training?" Ven asked "Oh yeah. I'm gonna head over to the Coliseum and warm up. Meet me in the vestibule, okay?"
"Bye." I waved as Herc walked away. I turned to Ven "What is he training for exactly?" I asked "The games" Ven answered "Phil Herc's trainer went to go train someone else so I volunteered to help Herc with his training" he explained I nodded "I see" "Wanna join us?" Ven asked I thought for moment "Actually I wanted to so some training myself" I said smiling sheepishly. "Working on your attacks?" Ven asked knowingly. "Yeah" I nodded "Well okay then see you later Allison" I waved "See you" I called just as he went inside the Coliseum.
"Well that was a fast make up" a voice said I smiled "Vanitas" I turned to him like always he was helmet less "Heh, you didn't jump this time" he commented smirking I shrugged "I got use to it I guess" Vanitas seemed to be thinking about something "What?" "Show me what your made of" he stated simply I blinked getting the feeling of dèja vù I looked at him in amusement "Sure"
We went to an empty Coliseum arena and got into our stances Vanitas summoned Void Gear while I had OathKeeper at my side I breathed before charging forward aiming for him. Vanitas disappeared "Too slow" his voice came from above but it had a teasing tone to it. I jumped back just as he came down swinging Void Gear. "Dark Firaga!" Vanitas called out several blasts of dark blue and black fire shot out of Void Gear and were heading straight for me. "Reflect!" I shouted a wall of hexagonal plates appeared in front of me when the dark firaga hit it, it bounced of and was heading towards Vanitas as well as the projectiles that were created from the reflect spell.
It hit him, creating a large cloud of smoke I coughed from it before scanning the area looking for my raven haired friend suddenly I looked down and saw a large spot of white, it shot up creating a large pillar of ice, I grunted as it hit me and fell back a few feet. I grimaced at the copper taste in my mouth before spitting the blood out and wiped my mouth with the back of my hand I saw more ice pillars ready to sprout so I slammed OathKeeper in the ground "Fire Plum!" Streams of fire spread through the ground melting the ice.
I smiled in triumph before heard laughter from behind me my eyes widened and my smile fell I quickly turned and gasped seeing Vanitas standing there with three crystals in front of him. "Dark cannon!" I screamed in pain as I was hit by the laser I went skidding through the ground my body rising and falling before I finally came to a stop my body twitched in pain I feel blood by the corner of my lip, my stomach burned in agony I whimpered lightly touching it coughing blood out.
My vision was going in and out of focus I faintly heard running footsteps and Vanitas' face came into view looking horrified at my condition and perhaps at himself. If I wasn't in so much pain I would have gaped at his expression. Vanitas picked up the upper part of my body with shaking hands almost like he was afraid of touching me. "I-I didn't mean t-to-" again if it weren't for my condition I would have been gaping at him as he stuttered his gold eyes looked shiny almost like they were…moist.
I coughed blood out again, his arms tightened slightly I let out a weak laugh "Heh you put u-up a good f-fight, looks like I n-need get s-stronger" I wheezed Vanitas looked shocked at my words "I-It's okay a-accidents h-happen" I said trying to smile reassuringly before my eye lids slipped shut. "Hey! W-Wake up!" I groaned feeling a light ringing sound in my head I sat up seeing that I was still in the empty arena but someone had moved me to the seats there were bandages wrapped around my waist that went up a bit 'Wait where's Vanitas?' I thought there was a cry of pain I jumped and saw Vanitas down at the arena slashing at some floods.
I gasped he can't hurt them! He's hurting himself! My theory was proven correct when he destroyed another flood then hunched over and cried out in pain I jumped down from the steps hissing at the pain in my stomach before running towards him just as he raised Void Gear at another Unversed "Stop!" I cried tackling him. He grunted as we both fell Void Gear disappeared and I scooted away from him holding my stomach "What the hell are you doing!?" I demanded panting at the pain Vanitas didn't look at me but he answered my question "Punishing myself" he stated. "For what?" I asked disbelievingly Vanitas trembled before exploding "Look what happened to you!"
He shouted startling me "I'm such a fucking idiot! I knew Dark cannon would be too much for you to handle but I couldn't help it! You were actually a good opponent I was afraid of losing and becoming weak, so I just had to use fucking Dark Cannon against you and looked what happened!" He slammed his fist on the ground. I looked at him in open mouth shocked I never knew Vanitas would act this way. I narrowed my eyes, I reached out and yanked one of his dark spikes hard he grunted "What the fuck!?" He demanded I crossed my arms. "Beating yourself up won't help you!" I shouted "It's okay if you hurt me you wanted to see how strong I was right? That meant that we both needed to give it our all don't act like an idiot!" Vanitas looked at me with wide gold eyes. My eyes softened
"Look I know what it's like to feel weak I hated being weak other people used me to there advantage because of it. I was afraid that I'd always be weak and asked myself what would happen to me if this kept on going but then I gained a friend, and if your wondering no it's not Ventus but he lived with me when I was in my world and he still does he was the first person who ever saw me as someone who wasn't weak." I smiled to myself. "That idiotic smile on his face when ever he was able to get a reaction out of my usual quiet shell" I shook my head in amusement "The more I time I spent with him, the more I noticed that I was getting less weaker and a bit more stronger" I looked up at the sky with a smile
"He's the greatest friend I could ever ask for" I finished. Vanitas snapped out of his trance like state "But how could you forgive me so easily!?" I shrugged "Because we're friends" I answered simply Vanitas was trembling again I was afraid he was going to snap again when he pulled me into an awkward hug I giggled slightly at his attempt his cheeks turned pink "Shut up" he growled but that only made me laugh harder.
"Wait. I've been meaning to ask, who put these bandages on me?" I asked Vanitas froze his cheeks turning pinker "I did" I gaped and scooted a bit away from him "What did you see?" I asked placing a hand in my stomach Vanitas waved his hands "Nothing!" He replied before smirking "Not like there's anything to see" he snickered I blushed and punched his arm "Sh-Shut up! Couldn't you use a healing spell or something!?" Vanitas stood up.
"I don't know any" he said offering me his hand I was debating on whether to face-palm or take his hand, I decided on the latter choice and he helped pull me up. He created a dark corridor and left I smiled before walking out. "-a true hero, huh?" I found Ven and Herc outside my blonde friend was trying to start a conversation. "More than anything." Herc said with a determined look in his eyes. "See, my father is Zeus, the King of the gods up on Mount Olympus." "Whoa! Herc, you're a god?" Ventus asked shocked.
I shook my head "Ven, if he was a god then why would he be here? Aren't gods already considered heroes?" I said Ven and Herc jumped before seeing my there I waved "Hey guys" I smiled they smiled back before Herc continued. "When I was a baby" Herc said looking sad "Somebody stole me from my parents, and figured out how to take away my godhood." "So this true hero thing will help you become a god again?" Ven asked as Herc nodded. "It's the only way I can become a god again." He said looking at the trophies on the walls. "If I become a true hero, I can rejoin my father and go back to Olympus."
"Wow…" "That's some pressure." "But what about you guys?" Herc said turning to us. "How come you're here?" "We… we're just trying to make some friends." Ven said looking a bit sad. "Ven, it's obvious we already made one" I giggled "She's right, we're already friends, aren't we?" Herc said smiling. "You bet." Ven said nodding. "Hey." We turned to see Zack walking up to us. "You guys ready for this?" I asked looking from the Zack to Herc. "You bet."
"Yeah."
"All right, you bunch of rookies. It's time we go over the rules of the Games, so listen up." Phil said I jumped when did he get here? "All the matches are divided into two brackets one for the East and one for the West. The winners from each bracket go head-to-head in the championship match. Now, I signed you two for the West 'cause they already got a heavy-httin' contender there cleanin' up over there in the East bracket. And if you wanna beat him you're gonna haft hustle in there." The two of them nodded, ready to fight for the right of the best trainer. "Now move those sandals." The three walked to the stadium and Ven and I looked at each other. "Heavy-hitting contender?" Ven said. I shrugged "Only way to find out is to watch." I said subconsciously rubbing my stomach. Ven nodded. "C'mon, Ven, Allison!" Herc's voice called out. "Oh, okay!" Ven said and we ran to the stadium to get some good seats.
The fights were interesting. Watching them gave me ideas to use in battle sure I'm used to fighting now but it wouldn't hurt to come up with new strategies right? "You did it Herc!" Ven cheered as He and I walked up to him and Phil. "Guess we made it." "Yeah, and it's all thanks to you,Ven." Herc said looking pleased and relieved. "Good! The other kid'll be happy to hear that." Phil said looking up at Herc a little put out. "No! I need you most of all Phil! How else am I gonna become a hero?" Herc backtracked; worried he might lose his real trainer. "Hmph! 'Bout time ya got it!" Phil said still looking slightly offended and walked out of the stadium as Zack came out. "Whoever wins, no hard feelings." He said holding out his hand for Herc to shake.
"Course not, holdin' a grudge wouldn't be very heroic." Herc said as I smiled in amusement. "Your no a hero just yet!" I chirped Herc gave a sheepish smile. "She's right, you're not a hero yet." Zack said and Herc laughed. "True." Herc agreed and they walked into the ring. The fight began and I was remembering Terra and Aqua's Mark of Mastery exam. Each attack was close to hitting the other but it missed just by an inch. "Hey! We got trouble!" We all looked to see Phil standing at the entrance into the Vestibule. "There's monsters loose in town and if they gate-crash the Games, you can forget about the match." "Unversed." I whispered wide eyed. "Real monsters?" Herc gasped, extremely shocked. I blinked wasn't he already fighting real monsters? "We have to stop 'em." "Leave the monsters to us!" Ven yelled as he and I jumped out of our seat and made for the exit.
"This match is too important!" "Don't worry about it!" I yelled I mentally winced at the pain coming from my stomach as we dashed out. It took about a minute to run out of the Vestibule, out of the Coliseum entrance, and down to the town below. When we got there we saw three mushroom like Unversed there waiting for us. "You won't get past us!" Ven yelled as we released our keyblades. I was a bit scared of fighting because I might hurt Vanitas if I destroy these. Suddenly more Unversed came from all sides so that about fifty or so Unversed were staring us down.
I gulped and Ven wasn't better off then me. Just as the Unversed were about to close in on us, there came the sound of hurried footsteps and we looked to see Herc standing there between us. "Herc! What about your match?" "Yeah, go back and finish it." I said as he shook his head. "Forget the match." Herc said and I stared at him with wide eyes. "No way I could let my friends fight alone. 'Cause I'm a hero, I mean, ya know… I'm gonna be." "What your doing right now is pretty heroic to me." I said as Herc smiled. "Thanks Allison." Herc said as we looked to the on coming Unversed.
"Come on, let's finish this together." I ran in to the mob of mushroom Unversed and lost sight of Ventus and Herc in the chaos of the mess I was in. But strangely enough none of the Unversed did any harm to me some bumped into me but that was all it, what's going on? "I told them not to hurt you" Vanitas' voice came from my side "Told them?" I asked he shrugged "Don't worry about it, they won't attack you especially in the condition your in." I frowned, he noticed "What?" He said.
"But aren't you in pain?"
"Pain?"
"Earlier when you were…'punishing' yourself you looked like you were in pain but Ven and Herc are dealing with the others and you look fine" Vanitas gave a grim smile. "It's only painful when I destroy them that's why" "Oh" I answered "See you later" Vanitas said I nodded "Bye" "Allison!" I heard Ven and Herc call out I turned and saw that all off the mushroom Unversed were already gone I waved "Hey guys nice work" I smiled I turned to Herc "But sorry for making you lose the match, Herc. I know being a hero meant a lot to you." I said sadly "Aw, come on, you don't have to apologize. It was totally my decision." Herc said though he looked a little sad Ven gave a sigh, looking thoroughly depressed at this.
"But…" I said looking up but Herc gasped seeing something behind me. "Hey, look out!" I turned to see an Unversed coming straight towards me I shut my eyes before a sword came down and slashed the Unversed before it could attack me. We looked to see Zack again. "What, you didn't save any for me?" He asked as we all stared at him shocked. Is he serious!? "Hey, you're here?" Herc said, surprised by the new comer. "Hey, I've set my sights on being a hero, too." He said walking up to us. "I just don't run as fast, that's all."
I snorted as he looked to me. "Well, you came; a little late but you still saved me, thanks." I said and I could see a smile form under the helmet he was wearing. "See, I've got her approval, oh yeah!" He pumped his fist I'm the air but Ven still looked concerned. "So you both threw the match?" Ven asked as I crossed my arms behind my head again Ven's rubbing off on me. "Who won, then?" "I left first, so not me." Herc said a little sad and worried at this.
"Yeah, but I was only seconds after you." Zack said looking just worried. "Still." "Hey, guys." Their attention came to me "Did Phil ever say he'd train the winner? and if you ask me, I don't think this was a test of strength." "Kid's right." We turned to see Phil walking towards us. "I never said I'd coach the winner. All I said was I'd see the match, then decide. Look, bein' a hero takes more than just muscle. You've gotta have heart and care about people." "Oh I get it now!, it's not the muscle or strength that makes the a hero it's the heart and will of a person that makes a hero." I said clapping my hands together as they all stared at me.
"When did you know all about this stuff?" Ven asked, looking both shocked and impressed. "Well it wasn't hard to figure out I saw Phil wasn't deciding on strength so it had to be something that all good hero's do." I said as Phil nodded, crossing his arms. "Right, and sure you both get high marks for that. But this time, only one cared fast enough and that makes all the difference." "Then that means…" "Herc keeps his trainer." I finished as Ven and Herc looked pleased, well more like ecstatic. "Oh man, I was this close!" Zack groaned, slumping forward slightly but cheered up within a second. "Well, that's life." "Wow, he got over it quick." I blinked well he did recover pretty quickly from his lost against me.
"I never really introduced myself well except to Allison." He said turning to Hercules and taking off his helmet to reveal his spiky black hair and blue eyes. Ven nudged me with his elbow "Why didn't you tell me you already knew this guy?" He whispered "You never asked" I whispered back. "The name's Zack. Congratulation Herc." "Thanks, Zack." Herc said looking happy to meet a new friend. "I'm Ventus Ven for short." Ven said as Zack looked to Vem and I.
"Nice to meet cha." He said with a grin. "Obviously you know me." I smiled as Zack chuckled. "Yeah well. We'll see if you're still thankin' him when I'm through with ya. You got a long road ahead of ya, champ." Phil said as we looked back at him. "Hey, don't count me out." Zack said, beginning his squats. "I've still got plenty of dreams to go with my lousy luck!" The two soon to be hero's shared a bit of a laugh as Ven and I went over to Phil. "Okay be honest. You were never going to stop training Herc, were you?" I said a slight smile on my face.
"Of course not. I know that kid's gonna go the distance. But he was stuck in a rut. He just needed a little incentive." He said as I looked at Ven who smiled back. Phil's got a soft side to him. He turned to look at us and we bent down to get better eye contact. "It's Ventus and Allison, right?" He asked as we nodded. "Well, thanks to you guys, Herc here has really shaped up. I owe ya." "Nah, we're glad. We made a really good friend." Ven said his hands behind his head. "Somebody to share a laugh with." "Just like Terra and Aqua." I said smiling as Ven nodded.
"We'll patch things up." We looked at each other and nodded. We both knew that if we wanted to catch up with the others we need to leave. "You're leaving?" Herc asked as we began to leave. "Yeah, our journey isn't over yet." Ven said and Herc looked a little sad. "But we'll come back and if Ven's too busy at least I will." I said as Herc looked a little bit happier. "Yeah, I'll stop by once you're a true hero." Ven said.
"Stop by once me and him are both heroes!" Zack added coming to us. "Oh, so you mean never come back?" Ven teased. "Hey, watch it!" Zack said coming up to us and putting an arm around our shoulders but we pushed him back only for him to return laughing which caused us to laugh and Herc and Phil soon followed.
I tugged on Zack's arm "Let go Porcupine head!" I said Zack let go of Ven and tightened the headlock he had me in "Porcupine head? I'll show you!" He said giving my a noogie I squeaked "Ah okay, I'm sorry! Ow, Zack!" He let go and I rubbed my head. "Owww…" I whined everyone laughed "Hey, Allison" Zack said.
"Yeah?" "When you come back and I'm a hero we are definitely having a rematch got it?" I smiled "Yeah."
I woke up from my nap feeling energized and stepped out of the tent. I looked towards the horizon to see the sun rising. I took a deep breath. 'Time to get started' I thought stretching. "Allison!" someone called. I turned to the voice to see Sora and the others rushing over to me.
"You ready to go?" I nodded "Yeah I'm ready". "Alright, let's go find Captain Shang." We set off and found Captain Shang within minutes. Shang turned to me and nodded. "I see you're ready to go." We nodded. "Very well, now your mission..." It was nearing noon and we had just finished three other assignments. Our current mission was to open the mountain paths and head on to the village in the mountsins. This was our last assignment so Mulan could gain Captain Shang's respect. Now this mission was slightly more difficult than the last three, they had to clear several rockslides while fighting off the Heartless. Sora and Franklin worked away at the rocks while Donald, Goofy, and Mulan kept the Heartless at bay and I was in charge of healing and fighting which was okay with me.
Eventually the path was clear and Yao, Ling, and Chien-Po came over to them. "Hey, you ain't half bad," Yao said to Mualn. "A man among men!" Ling added cheerfully. "Thanks!" Mulan responded. They nodded before walking pass us. Mulan's eyes fell to the ground. "But the Captain..." I placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Captain!" Sora excaimed. Mulan's head snapped up as Shang and a couple of soldiers came over to us. "Ping sure did great!" Goofy told him. "You bet he did!" Donald added. "Hmm..." Shang sighed. "Fine. I'll let you join my troops... But I'm still not convinced you have what it takes to be a worthy soldier."
"And why's that?" Franklin demanded angrily. Mulan quickly grabbed his shoulder. "It's alright, Franklin." she said. "I'll find a way to show him what I'm made of. Just give me a chance." Shang offered a smile. "That's the spirit, Ping." She snapped into a salute, the others following.
"Sir!" We exclaimed as the Captain walked away. Sora nodded towards us. "Alright, let's get to the village!" "Right!" We finally arrived at the village to find the other soldiers walking around chatting. I smiled at the sight of snow feeling giddy looking back at the guys I sneaked away and grabbed a handful of the white snow and packed it into two snowballs I took a couple steps back and launched them both, hitting my targets dead on. They whipped around until they say me hunched over laughing they both shared a look before making there way towards me I let out a small scream and ran for my life I easily out ran Franklin but Sora was a bit tough since he had plenty of practice in running I yelped when something tackled me down I went rolling down landing on my back with a small weight on top of me.
I blinked seeing a pair of blue eyes above me, Sora we both blushed at the position we were before Sora hurriedly got off "I-I'm so sorry!" He said frantically I slowly got up and looked at him "It's fine" I replied with a small blush.
Is it just me, or is Sora getting redder?
"Hey you two come here!" Franklin called out Sora helped me get up and stood with the others in a circle around Mushu. "Okay, girl! Here's your chance! I saw this real shady guy," Mushu informed them. "and I know it's Shan-Yu!" "Shan-Yu?" Mulan gasped. "That's the Hun leader!" Sora said in realization. "We've got to tell the Captain about this!" "Right!" Mulan agreed. We started walking away when... "Waaaait wait - wait- wait - WAIT!" the little dragon exclaimed.
"Everybody use their heads a second." Mushu took a deep breath. "Now, why are we here?" he asked us. He didn't give us a chance to answer before he started again. "To make the Captain see Mulan's - I mean, Ping's talents and bring honor to her family." he answered himself. We all nodded in agreement. Mushu grinned. "So, let's go find out where Shan-Yu is, by ourselves, then if we're lucky, we can fry him up good!" Mushu said slamming his fist into his open palm. "Though just tracking the guy down should earn us our stars. Captain Musclehead will have to notice my girl!" We all turned towards Mulan.
The final decision was up to her. She stood there silently thinking. She suddenly looked up, determination burning in her eyes. "Let's go." "We'll help out!" Franklin said. Sora and I nodded in agreement. "Now we're cookin'!" Mushu grinned. "Shan-Yu is in a cave outside the village!" At that he jumped back into Mulan's armor. "Then that's where we're going." I said. The rest nodded and started walking towards the village outskirts and into the cave. We al walked in and at the end was nothing but a large room lit by candles. "Dead end..." Franklin sighed. Donald took a look around. "There's nobody here..." he said.
"You're crazy!" Mushu huffed. "Check again!" "Oh, well..." Donald sighed as he began walking towards the cave entrance. Goofy turned as well. "Wait for me, Donald!" he cried as he ran after their friend. Sora looked back. "Hey, wait up!" Then suddenly, the ground under use started to shake. "Woah!" I cried.
"What's going on?" Mulan asked startled. Then a familiar purple light appeared behind us and a barrier was formed, cutting us off from Donald and Goofy. "Sora!" Donald exclaimed. "Allison!" Goofy cried. "Ping!, Franklin!" While they were shouting I could have sworn I heard a man's laughter. Heartless began appearing in the room, making Sora, Mulan Franklin and I draw our weapons. After a short battle, we managed to beat all the Heartless. I noticed that Mulan did significantly better. "You're getting good at this, Ping." Franklin complimented as the barrier fell. She blushed slightly. "Thanks!" she nodded.
Donald and Goofy ran over to us. "Are you okay?" Goofy asked. "Yeah, thanks to Ping!" Sora grinned. "C'mon!" Mushu exclaimed. "Time to report to the Captain!" We turned to him in confusion. "But Shan-Yu wasn't here." Mulan said. "Please, that Hun is old news!" Mushu scoffed. I crossed my arms and gave the dragon a look of disbelief "We're gonna tell the Captain how thousands of Heartless stormed the cave, and Ping took out almost every one of 'em!" Franklin shrugged. "Let's go then." Sora nodded in agreement and led the way out. Upon walking out we came upon a horrible sight.
The village was burned down and most of the troops gone. "Dear God..." I muttered in horror. We walked around a bit until we heard a groan. We saw Shang clutching the wound on his side. "Captain!" Mulan shouted when she saw him, and ran over to him. "Don't overdo it, Captain!" Sora exclaimed I knelt down next to Shang and took out a potion. "It's just a scratch." the Captain assured them before falling to his knees in pain I helped him up before giving him the potion, he nodded in thanks. Mulan bent down.
"Captain, the enemy!" she said. "Where did they go?" "They went towards the summit..." the Captain ground out. "We'll stop them!" Mulan declared. "It kinda is our fault..." Goofy muttered. "Right." Mulan nodded. Mushu jumped down and started pacing sadly. "You mean my fault." he said sadly. "No way!" I said. "Allison's is right!" Sora told him. "Shan-Yu and the Heartless did this, not us!" he proceeded to kneel down to the Captain's level. "Captain, if you track down the villagers, we'll handle this." Sora looked at the destruction around them in disgust before turning towards the summit.
"Let's go." he demanded. We reached the summit without many problems thanks god for that. Upon arriving we looked around, seeing no one. Suddenly a falcon flew over them and landed on the shoulder of a figure in the distance. A deep rumbling was heard. Then hundreds of Rapid Thrusters, Heartless that are about the size of a head that have a yellow head, small black body and a propeller on top of its body; lined up next to him.
"Uh oh..." Franklin muttered. "Attack!" Shan-Yu screamed. The Heartless came charging toward them. We all brought out their weapons and prepared for battle. The wave quickly separated the gang. I saw some Heartless that looked like towers with heads at the bottom. "Allison!, Franklin!" Sora called. "We'll take out the Rabid Thrusters, you take out the Bolt Towers!"
"Got it!"
"No problem!"
Franklin and I called back. We got into stance, until a bolt of energy grabbed Franklin and held him high. He struggled with all his might, but he managed to bring Oblivion in front of the beam then threw it at the Bolt Tower. The energy, now connected to the Keyblade, came closer to the Heartless until it made contact, making the Heartless explode and also destroying the other Heartless nearby I high fived him and continued on, taking down the Bolt Towers until the Heartless army was no more. "Alright, we did it." Sora cheered.
"Don't cheer just yet..." I muttered as more Heartless appeared next to Shan-Yu. Shan-Yu roared and started running down the hill with the Heartless following him. Shan-Yu's falcon flew over them, screeching all the way. "Move aside!" We heard Yao's voice. Turning our heads we saw Yao, Ling and Chien-Po walking next to them with Yao holding a cannon. "We'll handle this!" Ling said as Yao knelt down and aimed the cannon at Shan-Yu. Mulan had an idea. "Sorry!" She apologized before knocking down Yao and taking the cannon.
She placed it in the snow and aimed it at the mountain. She started to frantically looking around for something about a fire until she set her eyes on Mushu. Mushu tried to get away as Mulan grabbed him and stretched him, making him coughing out a fire which lit the cannon despite the situation I couldn't help but give a small laugh. Mushu landed on the cannon, right before it fired. "You're going the wrong way!" He shouted as he flew toward the mountain. There was an explosion on the side of the mountain and the snow began to crumble. "Uh oh." Franklin muttered. Everyone looked at him as he grabbed my wrist and began running.
"Avalanche!" They stood there before realizing what he meant. "Run!" Sora cried as he and the others followed Franklin's example. The snow exploded on the hill and started rushing down the slope, overtaking Shan-Yu and his army of Heartless. Mulan saw the Captain coming up beside them. "Shang, watch out!" She shouted as she ran toward him. She grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the way just in time as the snow passed. When the excitement was over, Shang and Mulan stood up "Are you guys okay!?" I asked rushing towards them with Franklin Mulan smiled "Were fine" I nodded.
"I never should have doubted you," Shang said to Mulan. "From now on, you have my trust." "Thank you, Captain!" Mulan said happily. Mushu popped out of the snow and shook the snow off his body. "First she uses me as a lighter, then she uses me as a cannonball. Oh, the head ancestor is going to hear about this," Mushu moaned, not knowing that Shang is near him. "C'mon Mulan, let's stop this charade and go home already."
"Mushu!" Mulan shouted at him. Franklin kicked snow on him "Hey!" Mushi cried Franklin jerked his head in Shang's direction "Oops" he gasped, putting his hands over his mouth I slapped my hand over my forehead way to go Mushu, way to go. "Mulan?" Shang repeated in disbelief. "A woman? It can't be!" He looked at Mulan. "Captain! Ping!" Sora shouted as he, Donald, and Goofy approached us. "Oh boy! You're okay!" Goofy exclaimed, happy that both Mulan and Shang are okay.
Shang glared at them. "What's wrong?" Sora asked uncomfortable with the glare Shang was giving him. "You all knew, didn't you?" Shang realized. "You all knew that Ping was really a woman in disguise."
Our silence spoke for us. Shang walked away a few steps before stopping and said over his shoulder, "The punishment for high treason and dishonoring the Imperial Army… is death." I flinched at the word 'death' . "Get out of my sight… now," he ordered, "You're all dismissed." "But Captain…" Sora began to say. "My debt is repaid," Shang said, then he walked away. "Move out!" Two of the soldiers in the front moved at an incredible limp as the rest of the army started marching down the mountain. Mulan sighed while Mushu went on Mulan's shoulder.
"Mulan, I blew it…" Mushu said, feeling sorry for what happened I felt bad for the small dragon he was only trying to help. A few minutes later Mulan had changed into the clothes that were under her armor. She wore a gray shirt with green trims, white pants and martial arts shoes. She let her hair down as well, revealing it to be shoulder length. "I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused you." she apologized. "It's fine, Mulan." I said. "But what are you going to do now?" Mulan shrugged.
"I guess I should go home," she said, then she started walking away with Mushu. "Man, your daddy's going to be steamed like a chicken dumpling," Mushu mumbled. Mulan stopped and sighed. Sora grabbed Donald, Goofy Franklin and I and pulled us close to him like a group hug. "Don't worry, we'll take our share of the blame," he said with his goofy smile. Mulan smiled. "Thank you, you're all wonderful friends," she said. I pulled her into the group hug.
"Of course! Now let's get you home!" I said as they started walking to the ridge. We all looked up when we heard a screech and I ran to follow it. When I returned to the summit I saw a hand that forced its way out of the snow. The others came up behind me and gasped. The hand then put itself on the ground and, to everyone's shock, Shan-Yu pulled himself out. He looked around for a bit until letting out a war cry. Then some Rabid Thruster Heartless appeared around him. Shan-Yu stood up and the falcon landed on Shan-Yu's shoulder, the Hun looked toward the city. "He's alive!" Franklin whispered frantically.
"How is it possible to survive an avalanche?" "He's headed for the city!" Mulan cried. "We've got to warn Shang!" "Right!" We made it to the Imperial City and saw the troops marching towards the palace. We hurried over and neared the Captain. "Shang!" Mulan cried out. He turned to her in surprise. "Shan-Yu is alive! He's headed this way!" "And why should I believe you this time?" he asked her coldly. "But… she's telling the truth!" Sora said, trying to back up Mulan. "Why would we lie about something like this?" Franklin demanded.
"Hmm…" Donald mumbled. He looked up in the sky and quacked in surprise as he pointed up into the sky. Everyone looked up and saw Shan-Yu's falcon flying over them. Shang looked around and saw Shan-Yu in question at the top of one of the towers. The Hun grinned evilly then jumped off. "Move out! Do not let the enemy get anywhere near the Emperor!" Shang ordered with Yao, Ling, and Chien-Po charging in and giving out war cries. Shang raised an eyebrow as he noticed only those three had charged in.
"That's an order!" He turned to the other soldiers, to see that they were surrounded in darkness for a moment and they became Heartless that are in purple robes called Nightwalkers. I gasped then looked at them in pity at what they had become The six of us brought out our weapons and stood before him protectively. "Captain! We'll secure the courtyard and you can save the Emperor!" Shang hesitated until Donald shouted, turning to him, "That's an order!" Shang nodded at him, and started running to the Palace Gate. "Surrounded..." I muttered. A light bult suddenly appeared over Sora's head no seriously I light bulb really did appear! "How'd he do that?" Franklin whispered I shrugged "Now is not the time for this!" I hissed back.
"Mulan!" he called and Mulan turned to him she nodded. "For China!" she shouted. "I'll handle this!" Mushu shouted as he came out. Then fire burst out of nowhere and damaged the surrounding Heartless. Sora, Mulan and Mushu then went flying around, burning and slashing the enemies in their wake. At the end of their attack, Mushu spat many fireballs into the air which landed on the few Heartless left and destroyed them. The rest of us stood there all the while, amazed.
"The Emperor's in danger!" Mulan cried. "Not time to lose!" Sora agreed. "Let's go." Franklin said, I nodded. We reached to the top of the stairs just in time to see Shan-Yu holding his sword to the Emperor's neck. "Now you'll bow to me," he seethed at the Emperor, who remained silent. "Think again!" I called. Shan-Yu turned to us and smirked evilly. Suddenly, Shang dropped down out of nowhere and knocked Shan-Yu down. He then led the Emerpr into the palace, while Chien-Po and Ling shut the doors, and Shang looked back at them expectantly before the doors closed. Shan-Yu recovered and ran to the gate, but the six of us got in his way.
"It ends now!" Mulan stated. "Right now!" Sora agreed. The falcon landed on Shan-Yu's shoulder, and the Hun began to laugh as his body was surrounded by darkness I gulped at the familiar feeling before snapping out of it. "Alright, let's go!" I cried as the Hun charged at us. I followed and our weapons met in between them. We were at a stand still. "You cannot overpower me!" Shan-Yu cried as they pushed. "Go, Allison!" Franklin cried. "Maybe..." I smirked. I suddenly pulled back, making Shan-Yu fall forward in surprise. I kneed him in the face, sending him tumbling back. Shan-Yu clutched his face and glared at me hatefully.
I raised his hand and gave the 'bring it' sign. "Wanna try again?" I taunted. "Your trickery will not save you!" he snarled. I glanced backward, seeing my friends protecting the gates from the Heartless. I turned back in time to dodge the slash from Shan-Yu. "First rule of combat, pay attention!" Shan-Yu growled. I then feigned left, causing Shan-Yu to attempt to block. Instead I went right, slashing his unprotected back. "Second rule, no talking!" I smirked.
"Foolish girl, you dare to mock me?" Shan-Yu said charging once again. I met his charge and we clashed once more. "I won't fall for your tricks anymore." "I doubt that." I said as I used my strength to push Shan-Yu's sword up. I dodged Shan-Yu's retaliation strike by flipping over the Hun's head and hit him at the back of his head with OathKeeper. 'Why is it called the Keyblade anyway?' I thought randomly while dodging Shan-Yu's attacks. 'It's so blunt, why not call it the Keymace, or Keyhammer, or Giant Housekey of Doom?' Parry here, dodge there. 'I guess it just doesn't sound as cool.' "I refuse to lose to a mere child!" Shan-Yu screamed.
I grit my teeth as our weapons met for the third time. I pushed Shan-Yu's sword up and Shan-Yu raised his sword, expecting me to leap. I smirked and took advantage at thisand slashed at him with all my might. Shan-Yu's eyes widened as he began falling backwards. "And stay down..." I muttered. I turned back towards the others who cheered. A second later their eyes widened. "Look out!" Mulan cried. I turned just in time to see Shan-Yu sweep at me. I coughed as I was knocked away into a pillar leaving an imprint on it and fainting.
3rd Person POV
"Allison!" Mulan cried as they ran over to her limp form. "Pleas wake up!" Shan-Yu laughed at them. "Pathetic girl!" Sora cletched his fist. He was about to charge at the Hun when suddenly, Allison started to glow. "Wha?" Sora gaped. Shan-Yu's eyes narrowed. They all stood back as the light brunette stood up smirking at the Hun. Shan-Yu glared and narrowed his eyes.
Allison levitated a few feet from the ground the others watched in awe as multicolored light gathered around her body she pointed OathKeeper in Shan-Yu's direction "Aurora Light!" She yelled, sending the gathered energy flying at the frozen Shan-Yu. They had to cover their eyes as the light was too bright.
They heard Shan-Yu scream, and they opened their eyes to see Shan-Yu gone. They stared in awe as the girl floated down and landed on her feet gently.
Allison POV:
"Ugh..." I groaned as landed on solid ground I pulled out a potion and drank it relishing the minty taste. "Are you okay?" Mulan asked. I nodded smiling at them "Allison how'd you do that? That was so cool!" Franklin exclaimed we all laughed good naturally.
Later all of us stood before the Emperor, a huge crowd of citizens had gathered behind us. The Emperor approached Mulan. "I've heard a great deal about you, Fa Mulan." he began. Mulan bowed. "You stole your father's armor, ran away from home, impersonated an imperial soldier. You disobeyed your commanding officer, shamed the entire Chinese army, and dishonored you family name..."
"We get the picture..." Sora muttered.
"No need to rub it in old man" Franklin added muttering also.
I slapped the both of them in the back of their heads, they yepled "Be nice!" I scolded quietly. The Emperor ignored us. "You are a young woman, and in the end…" Donald groaned. "...you saved us all." The Emperor bowed. Mulan stood up straight, and was surprised to see the Emperor bowing before her. She looked around nervously as the citizens that are present bowed to them. I grinned we all bowed as well. Mulan was blushing heavily at this point.
"You guys…"
"Captain Li," the Emperor stated. Shang nodded and picked up Shan-Yu's sword. He walked to Mulan and gave it to her. "Take this, so that the world will know, what you have done for China." "Thank you." she bowed again. "Sire!" A voice called out we all turned and to my dismay it was the advisor guy with his signature note pad and brush. "Oh he chose now to make an entrance?" Franklin muttered. "Yes?" The Emperor asked
"You can't be serious these two females saving China? Preposterous!" He exclaimed I felt my eye twitched again. "I beg your pardon?" I asked the advisor guy (I can't remember his name) scoffed at me "You, young lady should be ashamed! Doing a man's job not fit for a woman! Your family should be ashamed at themselves for not raising a proper lady!" I grit my teeth and summoned OathKeeper I looked towards the Emperor "May I?" I asked hopefully he had a twinkle in his eye as he nodded smiling in amusement "Be my guest" I grinned.
"Sire?" The advisor asked I pointed OathKeeper at him, he gulped and started running. "Fire!" I cried a fireball shot out of the tip of my Keyblade and hit him in his butt setting it on fire he cried out and jumped up and down trying to put the flames out I laughed at him as he made it worse.
"Mulan," Shang started getting Mulan's attention. "Sora. Donald. Goofy. Allison. Franklin." he said catching our attention. "Thank you." "'Thank you' Is that all there is to say, Captain?" The Emperor asked. "If you wish to win the heart of Fa Mulan, China's bravest woman, you'll have to be a bit more eloquent than that!" Shang gaped at him then looked at Mulan before turning away, emarassed. Mulan giggled. We all grinned at each other. Franklin tapped her shoulder.
"Hey, can we get an autograph?" He asked.
Mulan turned to them and smiled brightly. "Sora, Allison, Franklin... Thank you... for everything." she said. embracing us. "It was nothing." I said, blushing shyly. She giggled at me. Mushu paced on the floor, excited. "Now they gotta let me go back to being a guardian," he said to himself, not realizing that he's near Goofy. "They gotta!" Goofy was confused.
"But, Mushu, I thought you already were a family guardian," he said, catching the our attention. Mushu looked flustered. "Wha?" He said, then realized his mistake. "Oh, uh, now don't you worry about that. That's just real technical, just for us guardians." "You tricked us!" Sora and Franklin exclaimed at the same time. Mushu tried to explain himself, but they had already lunged at him. I just sighed and mentally made a note to freeze Mushu the next time we came.
Just then, Shan-Yu's sword began to glow. "Huh?" Mulan mumbled as the sword floated out of her hands and into the air. OathKeeper appeared in my hand and I knew what was happening. "Hey, Sora!" I yelled, getting his attention, the said boy already had Franklin pin Mushu down into the ground.
Sora stared at it for a few seconds. "Hey Franklin!" Sora called as he brought out his Keyblade. Franklin looked up and nodded in understanding, summoning Oblivion. We all stood next to each other and touched the ends of our Keyblades together as a crown appeared on the floor below us. A keyhole appeared in the sky as we leapt back and held our Keyblades diagonally, the ends still touching. A single beam shot out from them as we opened a new path. "Okay!" Donald cheered. "Guess it's about time to be movin' on." Goofy said.
"You shall be missed," the Emperor said. I turned to the Emperor. "…Is it okay if we come back to visit?" I asked. "Of course," Mulan replied happily. "We will look forward to your return," Shang added. Sora smirked. "Play nice you two," he teased Shang and Mulan. They became flustered. "Whoa!" Shang cried. "Watch it, soldier!" I giggled and stood slightly on my toes and whispered into Mulan's ear "Go get him girl!"
Mulan turned red and stuttered as Mushu jumped onto her shoulder. "Good-bye, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Allison, Franklin!" she called her blush dying down , waving us goodbye, as we walked down the stairs. I looked back just before the Gummi Ship beamed them up. "Bye, Mulan." I whispered.
