A/N: I'm back once again with the new chapter! Ok, this chapter is a request specially from the one and only Midweekcomic13. So, this chapter is about the Panda Diplomacy to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China. So here it goes!

Notes: Personifications of China and Malaysia are very close and are still close. Just because some tragedy happened, doesn't mean it's over. Some people are acting like fools because of it. If only someone would give me permission to punch them in the face, I will gladly do it. Sorry, got a little carried away there.

Panda Diplomacy

(40th Anniversary of Relations

between

Malaysia and China)

...

Panda Diplomacy practice takes place way back to the Tang Dynasty and it is still continuing until now. This time, Panda Diplomacy is once again done to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China.

Malaysia was the first nation in Southeast Asia to establish relations with China. Tun Abdul Razak, the second Prime Minister of Malaysia, also the father of the current Prime Minister, establish relations with China on May 31 1974, after the end of the Cold War.

After Malaysia had done so, ASEAN nations followed suit. Till now, China highly appreciates Tun Razak's bold step. Malaysia being the heart of Southeast Asia, had positively change the future of China and ASEAN nations. Even now some conflicts occur between China, Vietnam and Philippines but as a Malaysian, I (blame whoever is responsible not the innocent people) chose to not get involve in the conflict.

Year 1974

...

It was late at night, China was drinking some tea to calm his nerves after recent events. His younger siblings have left him, his only family. Many nations see him as a danger but...he just wish he could fix that broken bond if he had another chance. He failed as an older brother, hurting those closest to him and those who trust him with all of their hearts. Now, he doubts that his family would even want to see him anymore. Japan may have establish relations with him but...with his current situation, he also feels guilty in hurting him and he's also quite busy. So far they had only exchange a cup of tea and a few words.

Knock, knock, knock

China looked up from his cup of tea to the source of the sound. Weird, he thought, who would be visiting him at a time like this? Placing his tea on the table, he went to open the door for whoever might visit at a time like this.

His eyes widen at the sight of his guest. The one whom he spoiled along with many other younger nations when they were young. A red hibiscus flower attached to her hair, dressed in her traditional clothing and one of the nations that can speak China's language fluently.

"中国哥哥,你好吗?(Big Brother China, how are you?)" the young nation greeted.

"我好,谢谢马来西亚妹妹。(I'm fine, thank you Little Sister Malaysia)" China returned the greeting.

China and Malaysia did not say a word after this. Inside, China still feels a little guilty for supporting the communist that caused harm to her a few years ago. Why is Malaysia here now? He had betrayed her that time so why?

"Bang China, I know it's crazy to say this out of the blue but..."

Malaysia cleared her throat before continuing. "China, as the nation personification of Malaysia, I am here to establish diplomatic ties with you."

China merely blinked. "But I am a communist aru! You're not!"

Malaysia frowned. "Just because of that? Bang China, I am not America. Communist or not, I don't care! I want to start over Bang China, not as Malacca, not as Malaya but as Malaysia."

The younger nation stretches out her hand and said "Let's do it again. I am Malaysia and I am here to establish diplomatic ties with China regardless of...political stuff and others that I can't even remember."

China blinked before laughing at Malaysia. "That's already informal aru."

"So what? I am not spending my life memorizing political stuff and all!" Malaysia retorted, blushing.

China laughs as he takes Malaysia's hand and shake it. "I am the People's Republic of China and I am willing to establish diplomatic ties with Malaysia regardless of our political differences."

Malaysia smiled. "That's better. My boss is probably seeing your boss tomorrow to make it official."

"By the way Bang China...can I stay over at your place? I spent my time thinking on how to get you to establish ties with me that booking a hotel completely escapes my mind." Malaysia said sheepishly, looking away from the older nation.

China simply smiled as he ruffled the head of the younger. "傻孩子(Silly child), come inside and I'll make you some tea aru."

...

"It has been 40 years aru..." China said.

Malaysia nodded. "Indeed it has, Bang China."

China then glanced at Malaysia who has been playing with his panda. The younger nation also has a soft spot for cute and adorable animals. Not to mention she has tons of animals at her place but only her tiger is living with her.

"Malaysia, can I ask you something aru?" China asked.

"Sure, go ahead!"

China cleared his throat before continuing "How would you like if...I loan you two of my pandas for 10 years?"

Malaysia stopped playing with panda and turned to look at China. "真的吗?中国哥哥没骗我吧?(Really? You're not lying to me Big Brother China?)" Malaysia asked.

"我没骗你马来西亚妹妹。(I wasn't lying to you Little Sister Malaysia) It has been 40 years aru so it is right that I loan you two of my pandas, Fu Wa and Feng Yi." China replied.

"Thank you so much Bang China!" Malaysia cheered, squeezing the life of China's baby panda in her arms, ignoring the fact that the baby panda is suffocating.

"Aiyah! Don't kill panda aru!"

...

The day has finally come for the two pandas to arrive at the National Zoo. Malaysia waited anxiously at the gates to welcome the two pandas, Fu Wa and Feng Yi, the Malaysian style.

"I'm going to welcome them with open arms!" Malaysia exclaimed, dancing and singing outside the National Zoo with some of the staff watching her.

Tick, tock

Time is ticking and Malaysia is still waiting. Eyes focused solely on the road which they might use to get here. Anxiously waiting for the pandas. Patience is definitely not her thing especially when she is already this excited.

Once the truck with the pandas arrived, China steps out of the truck, making sure that the people doesn't handle the pandas the wrong way and...

"Yippee! Pandas are here!" Malaysia cheered as she jumps high into the air, ready to crush the pandas in her death hug.

In an instant, China pulls out his wok and ladle before jumping into the air, knocking the younger nation with his trusty wok, sending her to the ground, earning claps from Singapore who appears out of no where.

"P-Panda..." Malaysia managed to uttered out with a hand reaches out, still twitching a little.

Showtime!

Cheers and claps engulf the room as the two personifications of Malaysia enter the stage wearing traditional Chinese clothing. Male Malaysia wearing blue while his female counterpart is wearing red.

"Selamat kembali (Welcome back) to our show!" Female Malaysia greeted.

"Today, we're going to give our all as usual! So today's topic is...trumpets please!"

*Trumpets*

A sign was lowered. On it were the words "Giant Footprint in Penang, Malaysia". Both Malaysians looked at each other and smiled mischieviously.

"Well, well, not a bad one." Female Malaysia said.

Male Malaysia nodded in agreement. "Indeed it is. Shall we call out the special guest to present?"

Female Malaysia giggled before proceeding to pull the rope that was mysteriously lowered down to her. The curtain was lifted slowly, revealing a certain old~ nation, singing something. In the audience, the eyes of the Asian countries widen slightly.

Hong Kong pulls out his trusty video camera to record it with South Korea next to him, snickering. Taiwan clasped a hand over her mouth, to prevent herself from laughing out loud. Indonesia and Philippines were recording this with their high-tech phone. Vietnam is watching it with a grin, in her head, she reminds herself to get a copy from Hong Kong or Indonesia and Philippines.

Male and Female Malaysia were also trying their best not to laugh. Huge grins on their faces as they watch the older singing his heart out.

"随它吧,随它吧-"

"China, I didn't know you're entering a talent show." India pointed out, grinning.

The older nation paused and turned around slowly. Everyone was staring at him with huge grin on their faces. At least China has gain some fame for singing but judging by the looks on their faces, they are not going to just quietly let it slip out of their mind.

"So Bang China, for today, you'll be presenting about the giant footprint, alright?" Female Malaysia said, still grinning.

China cleared his throat, regaining his composure. "Yes aru. Let's get on with it."

"Not yet." Male Malaysia interverned.

"You'll be doing it with someone who is also experienced in this kind of topic besides us." Female Malaysia added.

"Who aru?"

The two personifications of Malaysia turned to the audience and stared at...China along with the others followed the Malaysians' gaze until their gaze landed on...

India glanced at both sides then at the front. Why is everyone looking at him? Unless, he was to do this segment with China. No!

"I refuse aru!"

"Can't you get someone else to do it?"

Male Malaysia made a 'tsk' sound, waving his finger. "Tak boleh (Cannot), you two are the only more experience ones that are present here! Reading the script is already ridiculous! We can get criticise for it!"

"In addition, the show might stopped forever, not to mention the story. You two don't want this to happen, right~?" Female Malaysia added, giving them the 'puppy dog eyes' look.

"Please, please, please~?" Male Malaysia joined in, putting on his best 'puppy dog eyes' while standing beside his female counterpart.

"Alright but just this once aru!"

"Yeah!"

Both Malaysians beamed. "Well then, if there is nothing else, we'll take our leave."

Male Malaysia presses a button on a remote as the floor gives out underneath them.

China cleared his throat as he begins "In a place called Batu Maung, located in the state of Penang, Malaysia lies a Chinese temple known as the "Sam Poh Footprint Temple". In that temple, there is a footprint. The Chinese here believe that the footprint belongs to Admiral Cheng Ho (Admiral Zheng He)from China whom the locals called "Sam Poh Kong"."

"While the local Indians believe that the footprint belongs to Lord Hanuman who while leaping over the ocean in search of herbal cure for Lakshamana, Rama's brother had left an indelible mark on a solid rock. Another account of the belief also links to Lord Hanuman who on his way to meet Rama's wife, Sita, left an indelible mark." India continued.

"Aside from that, the local Malays believe that it "Tapak Gedembai" belongs to a gigantic figure known as Sang Gedembai who was strong and feared by the locals. According to this version, one day while a villager was chopping wood, 1 piece flew high enough and caught the eyes of the nearby terrified giant who ran for his life leaving heavy footprints all over which is still visible till today. They say that this footprint in Batu Maung is only 1 of the four footprints of "Sang Gedembai" where 3 others are available in Pulau Jerejak (Island of Jerejak), Pulau Aman (Aman island) and Bayan Lepas. All 3 others are not too far away from Batu Maung." Male Malaysia piped in, hanging loosely with a rope tied to his right leg.

"No one knew which version is the true one but its the beliefs that kept us on." Female Malaysia added, holding onto a rope.

~Ring~

"Time's up! See you next time!"

"Wait!" Indian yelled.

"Don't you dare-!"

"Bye Bye!"
