A/N: Here is the next chapter for! Sorry it took so long.

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto or KHR.

"When you look at the world, what do you see?"

Natsu looked up, startled. "Mama?"

Kushina looked down at her daughter, smiling sadly. Fingers gingerly stroking her red, red hair. "It's nothing, little bit. Just something that I always wondered is all."

Natsu tilted her head in thought. "I see fear." Kushina looked at her in shock at her answer. "Fear?"

Natsu nodded. "Fear of living and dying. Fear of blood and creepy-crawly creatures. Fear of being alone and fear of losing someone close... That's what I see when I look at the world."

Kushina bit her lip. She was only eight years old and Natsu already knew so much of the world. She glanced at the window, that was the perfect response to that question and Danzo knew it.

"Oh Natsu... I'm so sorry." Kushina said, tears glistening in her eyes.

Natsu looked up at her, "Mama?"

Natsu sighed, snuggling deeper into the mass of blankets that surrounded her still form. Her eyes opened a crack, "Are you mad?"

Reborn glanced down at her, raising an eyebrow. "Why do you say that?"

After the whole powwow in her living room, Dino and the Vongola had decided to return home, mulling over everything that Natsu had told them. Reborn had opted to stay, sensing that Natsu will need him for the night. Being alone with your emotions all erratic isn't fun. Especially when you're dealing with it alone. Therefore, Reborn decided to spend the night with her, sharing the same bed as opposed to arguing over who got the bed, or the couch.

She lifted herself up, supporting her weight with her elbows planted firmly on her mattress. "All those things I told you guys about. All of the stupid decisions I made in the past, my mother having left me into Danzo's care... It made you mad, didn't it?"

Reborn sighed, hand stroking Natsu's cheek gently. "Yes it made me mad. Furious really. But not at you, mostly at Danzo and the rest of the council. I'm a little bit mad at your mother too."

Natsu's eyes lowered. "It wasn't her fault, it was either Danzo got me, or he prepared my brothers for something they wouldn't ever be ready for."

He brushed her hair back with his fingers, "I know. But she could've at least told you what was going on, or maybe fought harder to keep you. So you wouldn't have had to go through that."

His kissed her for just a few seconds, before pulling away. "That's what I'm mad about."

Natsu breathed out slowly from her nose, nodding slightly. "I guess that makes sense." she said as she rested her head on his chest again, "We should probably get to sleep now. We still have a date tomorrow."

Reborn smirked at her, amused. "Oh? Since when?"

She snorted. "Since the minute that I said that we have a date tomorrow. Don't you listen me?" she said, cheekily.

He rolled his eyes. "Just go to bed, I promise that I won't do anything perverted... yet." he said, slyly.

"Try anything and I'll kick your ass." Natsu said without missing a beat.

He chuckled. "Yes, ma'am."

Lanchia tapped his foot, impatiently. "Any particular reason you're still here, Dino?"

Dino chuckled nervously. "Haha, no reason. Just wanted to keep you company is all."

Lanchia's eye twitched in annoyance. "Dino, you've been here for three hours now, go home."

"But Lanchia! The sky's awake, so I'm awake..." whined Dino.

He sighed. "Please stop. There's only so many Frozen references you can make."

Dino grinned, toothily. "Not nearly enough, of course! So... Do you wanna build a snowman?"

Lanchia looked at him, facepalming mentally. "Damn it. Where's Natsu when you need her?"

Tsuna repeatedly bashed his face against his desk. There was just so much paperwork! It was endless, man! He groaned in defeat, looking out of the window of his office. 'Natsu has gone through too much in her twenty-three years of living. I can't believe that she hasn't seen her family in seven years. I don't ever think that I would've lasted that long...'

The guardians were especially bothered. Being forced into a program where you were expected to completely get rid of your emotions was just wrong. The fact that an eight year old Natsu had to endure such a horrific thing was simply twisted...

Someday all of that sadness and hardship will come again. Tsuna prayed that everyone will be ready when that time came.

"Revelation 21:6- This is Alpha and Omega. The beginning and the end, I'll give unto him what is athirst of the water of life freely."

Natsu looked up. "Are you reading the bible, mama?"

Kushina smiled, nodding. "Yes I am, little bit. This verse is very important to remember. It means that you must always help someone out, we are all human. Just as we are the same species, we also drink the same water. Therefore, we should not keep the essentials to ourselves. Share it, so this desensitized world can celebrate in victory of it's achievement. This seems to be the only thing that us tiny humans can to for each other, after all."

Natsu smiled, "Oh okay, mama! I get it now! If you have something that can benefit others, share it amongst ourselves. For kindness will save us from ourselves and be the kindly savior that will turn us away from our selfish tendencies. Right?"

Kushina nodded happily, picking her up. "Oh yes. That's exactly what this means! Oh my little Natsu... Such a smart little girl. My little girl! I love you so much, don't ever forget that, okay?"

Natsu beamed at her mother, glowing in happiness. "Don't worry, I won't!"

A/N: Well that's the end of the chapter. I hope that you guys liked it! R&R
