ANNABETH'S P.O.V.
I flopped onto the bed next to Thalia. "What you doing?" "Nothing." Replied Thalia scrolling down the page on her I-pod.
"Hey, could I ask you something?" Thalia took out her ear-plugs. "Sure." "Do you have a crush on someone?"
Thalia frowned. "Noooo. She replied suspiciously. "Are you sure? You can trust me." "What happened?" demanded Thalia.
I shrugged. "Nothing. I'm just asking if you have a crush on anyone." Thalia stared at me, clearly un-convinced.
"No, I don't have a crush on anyone. Why the sudden interest?"
"Piper said you told her you had a crush on this guy." I lied.
"Well she's lying. Who was it?" asked Thalia, returning her attention back to her I-Pod. "Oh no one."
JASON'S P.O.V.
"Hey Luke." Luke had his eyes glued to the screen with a bowl of chips in his hand.
"Hmm." "I heard you were going out with someone." Luke's forehead crinkled in confusion. "Who told you that? I'm not going out with anyone."
"Really? Do you want to go out with someone?" Luke turned his attention to me. "What is up with you and Percy?"
"What do you mean?" Luke sighed. "You guys are acting really weird." "All I did was ask if you had a crush on someone."
Luke continued to munch on the chips. "Well as far as I know I don't have a crush on anyone.
Anything else you need to know?" I chuckled. "No."
PIPER'S P.O.V.
"So what do we do now?" asked Percy. All four of us were crowded around a table in the library, thinking about what to do next.
I banged my fist onto the table excitedly. "I know, we could set up a blind date."
Annabeth shook her head. "That'd be too obvious, besides they'd probably run away once they saw who it was."
"Couldn't we just get them together at some party or at the mall?" asked Jason.
Everyone turned and stared at him. Annabeth nodded. "That could work."
THALIA'S P.O.V.
I sat down on at the table opposite Luke. After many hours Annabeth and Piper had finally convinced me to join them on their 'shopping spree.'
I wouldn't have come if I'd known Luke was coming as well. We were sitting at a table in Starbucks café, waiting for our drinks.
Piper gasped. "I just remembered there was a sale on this gorgeous T-shirt I saw." She grabbed Jason and pulled him away.
Luke stretched his legs so his feet touched mine. "Do you mind?" I hissed. "As a matter of facts I don't." he replied coolly.
Annabeth suddenly got up. "Percy and I are just going to head over to the gardens." Oh no. I was not staying here with Luke.
I stood up as too. "I'll come as well." Percy shrugged. "Okay, but it might be a bit awkward."
Annabeth blushed and smacked Percy lightly on the arm. I sat back down. "Great. Just great." Annabeth and Percy walked off.
The waitress came back setting down our drinks. I grabbed my glass of coke, as did Luke. We drank our drinks in uncomfortable silence.
I cleared my throat. "So, what are you doing after?" Luke was staring at the table. "Nothing." More silence.
I took the time to study Luke.. He was wearing a jacket over a blue T-shirt with denim jeans and converse.
His hair was falling across his face messily, like it always did, and his blue eyes were twinkling. "You have pretty eyes." I blurted before I could stop myself.
I cursed myself mentally. Luke looked up and for a moment he looked confused, but that was quickly replaced by a smirk.
"Thanks." The waitress came back. She had dirty blonde hair that was in a messy bun, with green eyes.
She was wearing enormous heels and a dress that was way too short and revealing. Luke looked up and sighed in boredom.
He reached into his pocket and handed the waitress a ten dollar note. The waitress smiled seductively, and handed Luke back five dollars. Luke frowned.
"The bill is ten bucks." The waitress leaned down, Luke moved away. "Keep the change." The waitress smirked. "Playing hard to get huh?"
She dropped a piece of paper on the table in front of Luke and walked away. Luke screwed the paper into a ball and threw it away. "Slut." I heard him murmur under his breath.
I burped loudly. Luke stared at me in surprise. I held up my hands in surrender. "Sorry." Luke chuckled.
I pointed at another table where the waitress was flirting with another guy. "Look." Luke turned around and shook his head.
I grabbed the coffee Annabeth had ordered and walked over to the waitress. "Thalia what are you doing?" asked Luke.
I tapped the waitress on the back. She turned around clearly annoyed, and I 'accidently' spilled the coffee down her front.
The waitress screamed and glared at me. I stared at her blankly. "Could I get some water?"
KATIE'S P.O.V.
I slumped down in my chair. "Where's Travis?" asked Dionysus. He was supposed to be watching us in detention.
"How should I know?" I mumbled. Just then Travis walked into the room. He was wearing a hoodie with baggy jeans and sneakers.
"Glad you could join us." Said Dionysus, sarcasm dripping from his voice. Travis smirked. "Glad I could join you too Mr D."
Dionysus smiled coldly "Sit down Mr Stoll." Travis walked over and sat down in the seat next to me.
I groaned. "Can't you go sit somewhere else?" Dionysus looked at the clock. "Oh look, it's my break time."
"At 6 o'clock?" I asked. Dionysus ignored me. "I'll be back." "What if we try to leave?" "I'll just tell that to Zeus."
"Won't you get into trouble for leaving us unsupervised?" "Can't you be quiet and stop asking so many questions Miss Greener."
"It's Gardener." Once again Dionysus ignored me and then walked out of the room. I huffed and leaned back in my chair.
I was suddenly aware of how close Travis was sitting next to me. Too close for my taste. I shifted over in my seat.
Travis looked me up and down, then he shifted over as well. We continued this pattern until there was no more space left.
He was still sitting as close to me as he was before. I leaned away from him, but he just leaned more towards me.
"What happened Katie, didn't you take a shower this morning?" teased Travis.
PLEASE REVIEW TO TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK SO FAR AND IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS FOR THE NEXT CHAPTERS. I'M NOT SURE WHAT TO WRITE ABOUT. THANKS.
