A/N: Sorry it's been a while, but my laptop was getting fixed, my tablet wouldn't let me upload and my iPod, I kinda lost it at the fairground. However, I have my laptop back (yay) so updates should be coming more often now.

Disclaimer: I don't own them, I'm just playing with them. I only own Mandy.

Hotch and Reid were just about to enter JJ's house after coming up with a plan of attack, when another SUV pulled up behind Hotch's and Rossi got out.

"Garcia called and told me what was going on," Rossi explained. "She said Emily called Derek and Derek told her to contact me and Alex. Alex then called me and said she would run interference with Strauss."

"Right," Hotch said understanding what was happening. "Well, once Morgan gets here, we'll go in. Reid was going to get JJ out and take her to next door to Mrs Anderson's while waiting on the EMTs. That's where Prentiss is with Henry."

"Well, as much as I'd like to help you take down Will, I'm still smarting from the last case," Rossi explained. "So, I'll watch your backs from out here, just in case any of Will's colleagues are on his side and turn up."

And once again, another SUV turned up outside JJ's, but it wasn't the one they were expecting. A tall brunette with a fiery determination in her eyes began to head straight to JJs when Hotch suddenly grabbed her.

"Excuse me, ma'am," Hotch said as he stopped her from heading to the house. "Can I help you?"

"No, I don't need any help, thank you," the brunette replied sharply. "I'm just here to pick up my son. His father said that if I hadn't heard from him by 0330 I was to come over and collect our son."

"And who exactly am I talking to?" Hotch said barely able to disguise his hate for this woman. He had an idea who she was talking about but he didn't want to make any rash conclusions. "And can you tell me why you are here?"

"Mandy Carter," the brunette introduced herself. "Will LaMontagne's fiance. He was coming over to serve his wife with divorce papers and inform her that he was filing for full custody of their, well our, son and he was really concerned about what she would do. She has a gun, you see. And may I ask the purpose of your presence here Mr...?"

"Special Agent Hotchner," Hotch introduced and he was secretly proud when he saw the moment of realisation dawn on Mandy's face. She knew the three men who were now standing in front of her were, in fact, the very same men who Will would badmouth about all the time. "Now, Ms Carter, I have to ask that you stay by your car for the time being. We were called here about a domestic disturbance at the LaMontagne residence and would prefer it if we did not have to worry about a civilian being caught up in the cross-fire of the situation."

"Since when has the FBI been called out on a domestic?" Mandy challenged, getting right into Hotch's face. She knew the stories Will had told her about these bullies and she was determined that she was not about to become another one of their victims. "Even when it is one of their own?"

"Since one of them was called in the middle of the night by a terrified little boy," Garcia jumped in. She had arrived just in time to both see and hear the start of the confrontation between Mandy and Hotch, including Mandy introducing herself as Will's fiance and describing Henry as her and Will's son.

"Baby girl," Morgan warned, he could tell that Garcia was getting worked up and he knew that it wasn't good for her. "Why don't you go and find Emily and leave us to deal with things out here? After all, remember what you were told yesterday..."

Garcia just nodded her head and about turned. Reid pointed in the direction of Mrs Anderson's house and she headed straight there, already plotting her cyber revenge on the harlot who was trying to steal her precious little Junior G-Man.

"Now that we've got rid of the dumb blonde," Mandy began barely even acknowledging Morgan's flinch at her insulting Garcia. "Will somebody, please, take me to my son. He must be terrified being alone in there."

The four Special Agents just looked at each other, they couldn't believe how dumb this woman in front of them could be. They had all managed to deduce that she was claiming that she was Henry's mother and had tried to let her know that they were there because Henry was terrified of what he had saw his father doing to his mommy and that they knew she wasn't Henry's mother because that role belonged to their colleague. But, alas, they had no such luck, this idiot who had managed to fall for Will's Southern charms and lies was oblivious to all the facts they had laid out before her.

THERE WAS NO WAY SHE WAS GETTING HENRY!

A/N2: So, there we have it, another chapter from me (at last). I haven't abandoned it, I just haven't had a laptop to upload from and my tablet doesn't seem to like me uploading from there. This chapter changed rather dramatically at the end and it wasn't like I had it written before typing it up, so the last couple of paragraphs are slightly different than I intended and may result in the slight change in future chapters.

Peace out
