Chapter 11

Alexandra had dealt with some pain in the ass prisoners before. Prisoners that never talked no matter how badly you beat them, some that could never stop crying because they were afraid that they were going to die, and even one guy kept rocking back and forth and mumbling 'cheeseburger' at one point in her career. But no one was as bad as Darcy Lewis.

"MEMORY, ALL ALONE IN THE MOONLIGHT!"

Yes... Darcy Lewis was singing random songs as loud as she could and completely off key. Alexandra wanted to pull her ears off just so she could actually hear herself think. Not a single agent in the facility wanted to interview her. They were afraid that they'd walk in and she would start singing 'Shake It Off' again. Alexandra shuttered at the thought. She almost wanted the Avengers to take her away to prison and spend the rest of her life there. Anything was better than this.

"THE SUN'LL COME OUT, TOMORROW, BET YOUR BOTTOM DOLLAR THAT TOMORROW, THERE'LL BE-"

"Would you shut up?!" Alexandra screamed through the intercom that was connected to Darcy's room. Darcy stopped and looked at the camera in the corner of her room.

"What? Why? Don't you like my singing?" Darcy asked with a mischievous smile. Alexandra sighed and counted to ten quietly. Darcy sat there and tapped her toes. She had long ago given up trying to get her hands out of the hand cuffs and decided just to nag everyone instead. It was working so far. She sucked in a deep breath and-

"HIT ME BABY ONE MORE TIME!"

"No, please not Britney Spears. I can't think of her in the same way after you sang 'Womanizer.'" Alexandra said.

"Do you want me to sing-"

"Just stop singing." Alexandra said as she began rubbing her temples to help relieve her migraine.

"Mmmm, No."

"Mmmm, Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"Nope. Not happening anytime soon, honey bunch." Darcy said. Alexandra sighed. She could only pray that the message to the Avengers had been sent out. The commanding officer walked through the door and stood next to Alexandra.

"Is she cooperating?" He asked.

"No. She just keeps singing and we can't get anything out of her." She replied.

"Well, have you beaten her yet?" Alexandra looked at him and then back at the ground.

"Once. I just smacked her in the face a couple of times." He sighed and ran his hand over his face.

"Alexandra, We need to know if The Winter Soldier has acquired any new weaknesses that we can use against him." He said and slammed his hand against the control panel.

"I know sir, but we know that she is a weakness. If you hurt her, Bucky will come even faster, but he'll come for blood and I just think we need to take time-"

"No. This, is how you get someone to talk." He said. He walked out of the room and into Darcy's holding chamber. Alexandra closed her eyes when the sound of flesh on flesh erupted before her.

Time skip brought to you by Summer, because I HAVE THREE MONTHS OFF AND MORE TIME TO WATCH MARVEL MOVIES!

"There's no trace of who could've possibly taken Darcy." Natasha said sadly. Everyone had looked threw every possible piece of security footage there was, and Steve had even sent out groups of SHIELD Agents to search for any source of Hydra around parts of New York. But still, there was nothing. With Jarvis being shut off and/or his hard drive being partially erased, they couldn't find any footage from the time Darcy was kidnapped.

"Well, then find something, anything!" Bucky said as he slammed his metal fist on the table. Everyone stopped and looked at him. He breathed heavily and looked down at his hands.

"I hate to interrupt such an interesting discussion, but I think it is time for you to listen." Everyone looked up to see a man on the TV screen with a Hydra symbol on his shoulder. Bucky walked towards the screen.

"Listen here-"

"No, you listen." The man said, "We have Darcy Lewis and are willing to negotiate for her freedom."

"Negotiate?! How about I put my foot up your ass and see what happens then?!" Bucky said.

"Calm down, Winter Soldier. Now listen closely, if you do not come to our base in 24 hours, alone, your precious Darcy Lewis will never see the light of day again." The screen changed to an image of Darcy. She was sitting in a chair, handcuffed, and with a bloody face. The camera zoomed in and you could see she had a swollen eye, cut lip, and bruises forming all over her face and neck.

"If you touch her again, I'll-" Bucky was cut off.

"Our address has been sent to your location. You have 24 hours...Only then will we free her." The man said.

"Why do you want Bucky?" Steve asked. The man on the screen turned his head to look at Steve.

"Hydra has greatly missed our Winter soldier and it would be so nice if he would cooperate once more." The man said.

"He is not coming to your-"

"I'll be there... And when I do get there, I'm killing you first." Bucky said. He took his metal arm and punched the TV. The screen shattered.

"Well, damn. I paid good money for that." Tony said.

"Bucky, you can't go in alone." Steve said.

"Why not?" He replied as he walked towards his chair and began putting on his jacket.

"They probably won't even free Darcy and will kill her as soon as they have you. Then they'll just erase your memory of her, so you won't even remember any of us." Steve replied. Bucky looked down.

"Then what do you suggest we do?" Bucky asked. Steve looked around the room at the other Avengers.

"Ok, here's the plan."

I know I'm evil, but I promise you the next chapter is going to be the rescuing and what everything has really been leading up to. I didn't want to put the rescuing in this chapter because there would be so much detail going into it that I was afraid that it would be too long. But, I'm off a lot more now and will be able to update faster. I've already started writing the next chapter. Is Bucky really in

Love? ;)
