Christian
"What the fuck, Mia? We will stay for one night, not a month." I exclaim when Mia hands me her suitcase and a duffel bag.
"I know, but I like to have some options when it comes to my clothes." She says.
"Here look at that." I say and lift Ana's backpack which is already in the trunk of the SUV. "Baby, tell her what you've packed."
"Um... I guess some flip flops, a skirt, a t-shirt, a bra and four panties... and my tooth brush and other bathroom stuff... oh and a bikini."
"See Mia... wait, why do you need four clean panties if we only stay for one night?" I ask confused.
"That would be because my boyfriend likes to rip them off of me at any given chance." She says with a wink.
"Eww... TMI, Ana!" Mia shudders and Amy is looking anywhere but at us.
"I believe I have to revisit and revise what I have said before. Ana, we will be gone for almost 36 hours... go and grab at least five more panties."
"Oh my God... I've changed my mind; I want to drive with mom and dad." Mia whines.
"I promise we will behave." I smirk and watch and Taylor carries two huge boxes to the car. Yesterday, Ana surprised me by cooking like a woman possessed all evening. She made Bolognese sauce, different stews, five different pot pies and who knows what else. She explained that her Dad is just as bad when it comes to cooking as I am. So, every time she goes to visit him she cooks loads of food to take to Montesano and fill his freezer with it, so all he has to do is cook some rice or pasta and heat something up in the microwave.
I offered to hire a housekeeper for him, but she asked me not to mention it to her father. He is a very proud man and she is afraid he will take my offer the wrong way. I still think hiring a housekeeper for him is a good idea, but I also don't want to offend Ana's dad. She is a total daddy's girl and I do believe that if her father doesn't approve of me it would be bad for our relationship.
After everything is in the car I get behind the wheel, the girls are sitting in the back and Elliot, who arrived just in time, is on the passenger side, while my parents and Taylor are following us in their cars. Taylor would have preferred to drive us, but if I can help it I don't even want Mr. Steele to notice that I have security with me. After all, I now know that whoever husband number three is, he must be rich and I don't want Mr. Steele to think that I am anything like that bastard.
"Are you unwell, Elliot?" I ask when we make a stop because all three girls have to pee.
"No... fuck bro, why didn't you tell me that Ruby would be joining us for the trip?" He asks and I frown.
"Who?"
"Amy... Christ, have you forgotten that we always used to call her Ruby?" He asks.
"Now that you said it, I remember. Why is that a problem, we've known her since she and Mia went to kindergarten together."
"I know... it's just... fuck me, she hates my guts, bro!"
"What why?"
"Look... the weekend before Mia went to Paris, Ruby and I... we kind of fucked." He says and I frown at him.
"What the hell, what do you mean; you kind of fucked her? Either you have or haven't!"
"We were drunk, I always thought she is hot and so I took her to the boathouse. She didn't say shit and fuck... she was a virgin. I panicked... I mean I wasn't ready for anything serious and you don't just bang a virgin and send her on her way... so, I ran the second I pulled my dick out of her, I jumped into my clothes and left her there. She was crying and called after me to stay... but well shit... I was just too drunk to think straight. When I was sober again, I went to her place to apologize."
"And that didn't go well?"
"Only if getting slapped so hard that you think your head is spinning and then spit in the face is your definition of things going well."
"Fuck me, she spit into your face?"
"Yup, she sure did. Christ, I know I've acted all kinds of wrong, but ever since then she is like a little demon when she sees me. She even moved back to her parents, just so I wouldn't get the chance to come anywhere near her. In fact, this is the first time I have seen her in almost a year." He says and I get the feeling that this has him really worked up.
"Bro, do you like her?"
"Does it matter? Because she is not going to forgive me anytime soon or maybe until hell freezes over." He mutters under his breath.
"I thought you had a thing for Miss Kavanagh."
"Kate is hot and I could have imagined having a fling with her, but she is too crazy for my liking. Ruby on the other hand... she could have been the one, but I fucked it up and now that ship is sailed."
"Don't give up that easily, bro. She had a year to calm down; maybe you have better luck if you talk to her now."
Fuck, this is just great. I want to make a good impression with Ana's dad and now I'm in the middle of Elliot's drama. Christ, I knew that he would get into serious trouble one day, because he isn't capable of leaving his dick in his pants. I just hope they won't start to fight in front of Mr. Steele.
Damn, I can honestly say, that I have no idea when the last time was, where I was this nervous about going somewhere. Usually, I don't give a flying fuck if someone likes me, but this is different, because I want her Dad to accept me as her boyfriend and not just a friend of hers who was helping out in a difficult time. I want him to approve of me as his daughter's boyfriend.
Ninety minutes later I pull up in front of Ana's childhood home and I barely have the time to switch off the engine when Ana is already out of the car, running towards her Dad who is sitting on the porch.
"Fuck, you're so screwed, bro. You better make sure that her old man loves you or you are in for serious trouble in your relationship." Elliot says and as if on cue I hear Amy mutter something intelligible under her breath. Well, that is not going to be fun at all.
Slowly, we all get out of the car and I make my way over to the porch where Ana is talking animatedly to her dad.
"Mr. Steele, it's good to see you again, Sir." I say and hold my hand out to him. He takes it and I'm sure I hear some of the bones in my hand crack, because he is squeezing the hell out of my hand.
"It's good to see you too, Mr. Grey."
"Please, call me Christian." I offer and he nods.
"Are your folks planning to stay in the driveway all day, Christian?" he asks roughly and I wave at them to come closer. After introducing my family to Ana's dad we all go inside and I can't help but look at all the pictures that are on display everywhere in the house. Most of them show Ana alone, but in some she is with her parents. Damn, she was a cute kid... if we ever have a daughter; she won't be allowed to leave the house until she's thirty.
"A little angel, right?" I hear Mr. Steele behind me and notice that we are alone in the hallway.
"Where is everyone?"
"Annie is filling up the freezer and your family is having coffee in the living room. Now, tell me how is Annie, the kid doesn't want me to worry, so she wouldn't tell me if something is up."
"She is doing fine, Sir. Her doctors have given her the green light to fully go back to her usual routine."
"That's good. I'm glad you are taking care of her. Annie needs someone to look after her. Don't get me wrong, she can take care of herself, I've made sure of it, but she has the habit of putting everyone else first, sometimes to the point where she gets herself into trouble."
"Don't worry, Mr. Steele. I'll make sure that Ana stays happy, healthy and safe at all times."
"That's good, because I would hate to break every bone in your body if you would ever hurt my daughter. She's been hurt enough." He says and wanders off, leaving me staring after him and I am sure that he meant what he said.
Fuck, I hate this. I wanted to be the one in control over this situation, but now I don't have any control at all.
"What has you all worked up?" I hear Ana's sweet voice behind me and find her leaning against the front door.
"I do believe your dad hates me." I mutter and she starts to laugh.
"No, he doesn't. He is just an anxious father. And I do believe that you wouldn't act any different if we had a daughter who just brought her first boyfriend home."
"Maybe... it's just... damn it, I want him to like me, Ana. I know how close you two are and if he can't stand me what chance do we have to make our relationship work?" I voice my fears and Ana is by my side and wraps her arms around my waist.
"Christian, please don't worry about my dad. He wouldn't have asked if we want to join him this weekend if he wouldn't like you. There is nothing you have to worry about, just give him some time to come to terms with the fact that he just lost the status as number one man in my life. He never had to deal with the fact that I have a boyfriend and I believe he is dealing well enough with it. Once he gets to know you better, he can't help but love you. It's the effect you have on people once you decide to let them in." She says and my heart skips a beat. Did she just say the word love? Does that mean that she ... loves me?
Only the thought of it makes me feel like a love sick teenager. I want her to love me... I just had no idea how to make her love me... but what if she already does? Is it too early to tell her how I feel? Maybe if I say it first she will say it too... but what if I got this all wrong? Fuck, I need to talk to Flynn, ASAP.
"Hey... are you daydreaming?" Ana asks and waves her hand in front of my face.
"Sorry, I was deep in thoughts. What did you say, baby?"
"I've asked you if you wanted to see my childhood bedroom, because we have to leave in five minutes."
"Lead the way, Miss Steele; I can't wait to see your old bedroom."
Ana's childhood bedroom is just like I thought it would be. Cozy, a little old fashioned and filled with books.
"Was there ever a time where you didn't like to read?" I ask and she takes a picture from her desk.
"You tell me." She giggles and hands me the framed photograph of her. In it, she is about 7 or 8 months old, sitting in a wicker basket and holding a book.
"I guess that is a good answer to my question. You belong to the publishing world, Miss Steele."
"I know... but now I have a question. Why was Jack Hyde fired? You know back when GP was SIP I was interviewed for the position as his assistant, but then he got fired when you bought GP."
"Hyde is behind bars, waiting for his trial, Ana. He is a sexual offender. He forced himself on all of his previous assistants and filmed it to blackmail them into silence. When I bought SIP it struck me as odd that he had had 9 assistants in 3 years. So, I had my security team talk to them. They wouldn't say anything, but Taylor and Welch agreed that they were scared. I wasn't going to let the topic go, so I had one of the female security officers from GEH visit them and after she had visited four of them one finally couldn't keep her silence and confided in her. He was arrested a day later."
"Oh my God, that's horrible. No wonder I thought that he is a creep." She murmurs and I hug and bury my face in her hair. It could have been her... had I decided not to buy SIP; Ana could have been his next victim.
"Don't... please don't even think about it." She whispers and I kiss the top of her head.
"So you can read minds too, Miss Steele?"
"I am a woman of many talents, Mr. Grey. Come we need to leave, the fishing contest is going to start in just over an hour and I need your help to set our tent up first."
Twenty-five minutes later, we've arrived at Lake Sylvia and besides my parents, who will drive back to Bellevue in the early evening; we are all busy setting up our tents.
"Holy fuck, Mia! What on earth is this?" Elliot exclaims when Mia and Amy are unfolding their tent, which is bright pink with white polka dots. It makes me smile, this is so Mia.
"Well, it's a tent, Elliot. Amy and I prefer to camp in style." She says and pokes her tongue out at him.
"Elliot, leave your sister alone and hurry up, we still need to rent a boat and your tent is nowhere near ready." My dad complains. Good thing I am going to share a boat with Ana's dad, those two are going to argue the entire four hours, I just know it.
Ana
After the men went out on the lake, Mia, her mom, Amy and I stayed back and decided to go for a walk. Taylor, who has kept his distance, is watching our belongings, so we are in no hurry to get back.
"It is very beautiful here, Ana. Have you spent a lot of time here growing up?" Dr. Trevelyan asks.
"Yes, I used to spend my entire summers here at the lake during my childhood. My Dad and I went hiking a lot and my Mom and I would come here to take a swim or just enjoy the good weather."
"Wow, it must have been so much fun to come out here with all of your friends." Mia says and I just shrug.
"Oh come on, you must have had a blast here with your friends."
"Provided I had friends, yes, but I was more of a loner as a child." I confess.
"Why?"
"I don't know, I was never the most social person. I preferred to read and learn for school... and I was kind of a nerd in school, so the other kids liked to pick on me. So for most parts I tried to avoid other kids. Later in high school, the picking turned into bullying and I spent most of the time having my lunch break in a bathroom stall or hiding somewhere else in order to avoid getting my lunch thrown at me." I murmur.
"Wow that's so sad, did it get better in college?"
"Yes, a lot actually. I've met Kate and she was like the queen bee. I never understood why she would even talk to me, but we became friends and she taught me how to be confident and to stand up for myself."
"Do you miss her?"
"Yes, of course. She is my best friend, from day one we were as close as sisters, but I can't be her friend if she is trying to start some sort of vendetta against Christian. I know people say that friends come first and that men come and go... but the truth is Christian is the man I want to spend the rest of my life with, so either Kate comes around and realizes that he didn't do anything wrong or we can't be friends anymore."
"May I say something about this?" Dr. Trevelyan says and I nod.
"Miss Kavanagh is still very young, Ana. I happen to know her parents, so I know that they have spoiled both of their children beyond reason. She will come around eventually, just give her time to learn her lesson. It might not be today or tomorrow, but at some point she will see the truth and then the two of you should sit down and have a conversation. Friendships often times work very similar to relationships... sometimes it needs for two people to go their separate ways for a while to realize what the other person really means to them. Don't give up on Miss Kavanagh too fast."
"I won't; and thank you for your advice, Dr. Trevelyan, I really appreciate it."
After we've returned to the camp side, Mia, Amy and I decide to change into our bikinis to tan a little, but I am bored pretty soon.
"Is someone up to take a swim?" I ask and Amy joins me. We walk around the lake to the spot where the trees are almost in the water and this gives me an idea. Growing up I always saw some of the boys jumping into the water from one of rocks a little further.
"Come on, Amy; let's jump from the rocks over there."
"I don't know, don't you think that's a little dangerous, Ana?" Amy asks and I shake my head.
"No, I have seen boys jump from there every summer. It's fun... we can at least climb up and have a look... please?"
"Okay, but I won't promise to jump." She says and so we walk over the rocks and climb up.
"Miss Steele?" I suddenly hear Taylor behind me and turn around.
"Hi Taylor."
"Miss Steele, I would like for you to climb off the rocks now. Mr. Grey would not be happy if you would jump into the water from here. It's dangerous." He says and I want to roll my eyes.
"It's not dangerous; Taylor and Christian won't even find out, the boats are too far away for him to even see me."
"Miss Steele, please." He says clearly unhappy, but I really want to jump just this once.
"Don't tell Christian." I grin and jump into the water, when I come up for air I see Taylor and Amy looking at me and boy does Taylor look pissed.
"I'm fine, come on in, Amy." I call out but she shakes her head. So I swim for a while and when I get out of the water Taylor is already there waiting for me with a towel.
"Miss Steele, I have to say what you just did was borderline insane. You've nearly died six weeks ago and jumping off a cliff is certainly not the right thing to do after you've just recovered. Mr. Grey wasn't happy about what you've done either."
"Did you call him?" I ask appalled.
"No, Ma'am. He called me, because he did see you jump." He says and I bite my lip.
"Was he mad?" I ask and wrap myself into the towel.
"Yes, mostly at me though, because I didn't remove you from these rocks immediately. And just for you information, your father wasn't happy about it either. He told Mr. Grey to spank you for that little stunt." Taylor says and I gasp.
"I'm a grown up, he can't do that." I mutter and storm over to Amy.
"Sorry that I've made you wait."
"Don't worry; I needed to make a call anyway." She says and so we walk back and wait for the men to return. When they finally do I can tell that neither Mr. Grey nor Christian caught something big, because Elliot and my Dad are teasing them.
"Elliot, it's enough now, you've distracted me, that's why I didn't catch anything." Mr. Grey grumbles.
"Oh come on, Dad. You did catch something. I mean five empty soda cans that has to be a record." Elliot laughs.
"It's not funny, Elliot. And anyway, the fish you caught looked like a goldfish." Christian huffs.
"Yup, but still I caught a fish... not to mention the nearly 20 pound baby Ana's dad caught." Elliot teases.
"Yeah right, I'm sorry Ray, but you are the freaking fish whisperer. I swear to God, Ana, your Dad had his fishing rod barely in the water when he caught that fish. It was almost as if the fucking thing just jumped into his bucket on its own." Christian tells me begrudgingly and I laugh.
"Well, at least you've tried." I giggle and kiss him.
"Maybe I would have caught something, if my girlfriend hadn't decided to nearly give me a heart attack by jumping off the freaking cliff. What were you thinking, Ana?"
"It looked like fun." I mutter and he closes his eyes.
"Baby, the next time I see you do something like that I'll put you across my knee and don't think I'm kidding. I have your father's permission to do so." He says rather proudly and I have to fight the urge to giggle.
"I'll keep that in mind and you didn't have to call Taylor... I don't like it to be scolded by him." I let Christian know.
"Ah, so that's his name." My dad says. "You know Christian, I really appreciate that you are trying hard to act like a normal guy, but I've noticed your security right away, so why don't you give the guy a call and tell him to join us, I'm sure he would appreciate a cold beer too."
"Ray, I'm sorry... it's just a man in my position..."
"Listen son, you are a rich man and you don't get to be where you are today at such a young age without making enemies along the way... so I get why you need security and I would have been surprised if you wouldn't have security following you around. So, don't sweat it. You have security for the right reasons and I do hope that you have another guy like that following my Annie once the media knows about your relationship... because there will be many crazy bastards who will try to get a piece of the cake by trying to take her away from you... and that is frankly the only reason I am still worried about her being with you... so you better keep my daughter safe."
"I won't let anything happen to her, I promise you, Ray and yes, I have security for Ana in place. His name is Luke Sawyer and he is a former marine." Christian assures my father and I'm wondering if this Sawyer guy is already following me, but decide that now is not the time to argue about security.
A little later my Dad is proudly showing off his newest fishing trophy and we are all gathered around the huge bonfire and eat. While I'm eating I can't help but watch Amy and Elliot. He is looking at her the entire time, but she is avoiding to even look at his direction and for some reason she has this guilty look on in her eyes.
"Is something going on between Amy and your brother?" I whisper into Christian's ear.
"Yes, but please... leave it be, Ana. Believe me you don't want to get dragged into that drama." He says and now I'm curious, but he isn't giving me even the slightest hint. So, whatever it is, Elliot must have asked Christian not to tell anyone.
Deciding to let it go I just enjoy the evening and around 10 we all go back to our tents. Christian and I quickly get ready for bed and cuddle up in the double sleeping bag he bought for us.
"Christian, what are you doing, my Dad is sleeping in his tent only a couple of feet away from us." I giggle when his hands start to roam all over my body.
"Then we have to be really quiet, baby, because I'm horny as hell and I really need to be inside your hot, wet little pussy. Come on; tell me you are wet for me!"
"You know I am... all the time... but this is wrong... my Dad and your siblings..." I gasp when rips my panties off and dives under the covers and between my legs where he unleashes his tongue on the most sensitive part of my body.
"Oh my God... Christian... you can't... ohhh!" I moan when he slips first one and then a two fingers inside me.
"I can, Miss Steele... but you have to be quiet or I might have to fuck you all night, until you learn to be silent." He threatens from underneath the covers and I grasp the covers and bite my lip to keep myself from moaning. Concentrate Ana, you don't have to be loud... just enjoy it in silence...
"Wrap your legs around my hips, baby." He whispers into my ear when he is on top of me and comply immediately.
"Are you sure no-one will know?" I whisper and he grins.
"If you can manage to be silent, no-one will ever find out." He whispers against my lips and thrusts into me at the same time.
"Christian... ohhh... ahhh... I ... can't ... be silent..." I moan when he moves faster and faster.
"Yes. You. Can." He grunts back and kisses me passionately until we both reach our climax.
We've just cuddled up in the sleeping bag again, when the zipper of the tent is being opened and Elliot pokes his head in.
"Smooth bro, I wouldn't even have noticed what the two of you were up to if it wasn't for the tent moving. And don't worry Ana... I could barely hear you." He grins and closes the zipper again.
"Oh my God, I will never be able to look at my father again." I murmur mortified and hide my face in the crook of Christian's neck.
"Don't worry, baby. Even if your Dad knows that we had sex, he won't mention it to you."
"I would hope so, that is not a discussion I want to have with my father... like ever!" I mutter and scowl at Christian when he starts to laugh.
"I'm sorry, baby. I didn't mean to laugh. It's late. Let's sleep." He says and I fall asleep listening to Christian's steady heartbeat.
Part Two of the camping trip will be up by the end of the week and we will find out more about the Amy/Elliot storyline... Any ideas what I have in store for them?
