"I think getting to see you will be good for him, try and strike up a conversation, okay?"

BJ nodded to Sidney. "Do you think I should mention that I'm going home?"

Sidney thought for a moment. "Perhaps, if it seems like the right time."

"Might be the last time I get."

Sidney and BJ stopped at the door. Sidney knocked on the door and waited for a reply.

"Who is it?" Hawkeye asked mockingly.

Sidney opend the door and led BJ in. "You've got a visitor."

Hawkeye sat up from his chair and looked at BJ.

"How's it going, Hawk?"

"Hello to you too."

Sidney stepped aside. "I'll be outside, let me know if you two need anything." He stepped back into the hall and closed the door.

He leaned his back against the door and sighed. He wasn't getting much anywhere with Hawkeye. All he knew was that whatever's bothering him had to have happened on that bus... and involved a chicken, which oddly enough seemed to get to Hawkeye...

There were to men sitting at the table across from theirs, they began yelling at each other in disagreement. He could see the racket was starting to bother Hawkeye.

"QUIT SQUABBLING LIKE DAMN CHICKENS!"

He noticed two doctors swiftly came and broke up the fighting between the two men.

Hawkeye chuckled. "Not that I have anything against chickens. They're fascinating birds. They give you breakfast and you can make 'em into dinner. They're not much for flying, but they get around, 2 out of every 3 chickens prefer to take the bus. In fact, chickens-"

He raised an eyebrow. "Chickens take the bus?"

Hawkeye glared at him. "Oh no, you're not bringing that up again!"

"Hawkeye, why don't you tell me what chickens had to do with the bus ride."

Hawkeye sighed and broke his stare with Sidney. "We has just stopped the bus in the bushes to hide from the enemy soldiers. We put out the lights and stayed quiet."

"Go on."

Hawkeye smiled and shook his head. "There was a refugee at the back of the bus. She had her chicken with her, that's all."

"That's all?"

"Can't we finish talking already?"

Hawkeye hadn't seemed himself either. He was still as sarcastic and witty as before, but lately he's had an angry and reclusive attitude.

Sidney stepped away from the wall when he could hear Hawkeye begin to raise his voice from inside the room.

"Sidney..." BJ called nervously.

He quickly opened the door and stepped inside.

Hawkeye was standing up, pacing the room and shouting, "WHY THE HELL ARE YOU KEEPING YOUR BEST SURGEON HERE! I SHOULDN'T BE HERE!"

Sidney pointed to the bed. "Hawkeye, why don't you take a seat."

He angrily listened and sat down.

"You seem a little agitated."

He smiled sarcastically. "A little is an understatement," he sneered, "I'm agitated, aggravated, infuriated, frustrated, vexated, and irritated."

Sidney turned to BJ. "Maybe Hawkeye and I should talk alone for a moment."

Hawkeye looked over to Sidney and muffled a laugh. He turned to look at BJ and stopped. "Go... what are you waiting for?" he snapped out angrily.

BJ smiled sadly. "I don't know." He grabbed hold of the door. "I guess I was hoping that there was something to say to each other before I leave."

He started to raise his voice again. "Well you can say it the next time I see you. I won't be here forever, I can garentee you that!"

BJ frowned and nodded. "Well... I'll see you later..." BJ walked out the door, knowing there was a good chance that wasn't true.
