Hey guys! I'm sorry for the delay. On a summer job and going into second year of college. On with the show...

Artemis sighed. "Perfect." Why am I doing this? Oh yeah, I'm a sucker for punishment. She thought bitterly.

She looked over at M'gann. Both girls' faces were tight and pale, M'gann's green face looking sickeningly lighter, her smile absent.

*M'gann?*

*Artemis?* M'gann replied startled. Artemis was least likely to use the thought speak. She didn't like the idea of 'her mind being probed'.

Artemis was silent for a second, then asked before she lost her nerve: *Did you get anything off of him when he walked in?*

*He did seem…a bit off. *

The him they were referring to was Wally. The six of them had agreed (more or less) and had been prepped. For instance, Batman injected a small dose of anti-toxin, as not to kill the children. However, they would still feel the pain and would be affected. However, it wouldn't lead to death or permanent crippling.

Now they were in the garage room (with the pool, motor bikes and so on) with a few modifications such as glass ceiling in the enclosure.

Batman, Green Lantern, Flash, Martian Manhunter, Black Canary and Red Tornado were all in main room, a couple nano cameras placed around the room for placement with one way speakers so they could hear the young heroes.

There were also challenges: a few laser trip wires that would pump the gas into the room upon activation, a few "villains" with multiple target areas that had to be hit in order to "stop" them and a few hidden surprises, just for Bat-related-paranoia.

In the water, there were a few "foot soldiers" that would march forward. There were two "foot soldiers" in the air. And-"just for fun" as Robin had quipped- if M'gann or Robin (well, if anyone but still it would be most likely be them) made it over six feet in the air, projectiles would start hitting them. Green Lantern had "donated" to the cause, according to Batman. And if anything, Hal was a bit of a trickster. Robin wasn't going to try going vertical- yet.

Artemis took one more look around, using her training: Observing everything. She could get the least amount of gas if she took the direct route. Charge forward, off to the right- taking out the two guards. Then jump-

"Go." Batman's voice announced.

The time started. Robin was running beside her on her left. Conner and Wally had come up with a different idea it appeared: Conner threw Wally across the room towards the first two "villains" and sprang forward after him. The two started taking down the group of villains in front of the others for them to run through.

Robin and her had almost reached them when she heard a small CLICK go off underneath her. She set off an alarm!

STUPID STUPID STUPID!

The floor started emitting a thick white gas around Artemis' feet.

"GUYS! I SET OFF A TRIGGER!" Artemis yelled.

Superboy turned around on his heels, hands in a fighting position. Artemis ran towards him, frantically trying to shield her mouth with a small part of her tank-top-shirt. M'gann, in the meanwhile, was trying to telekinetically push the gas back with her mind, but it just kept building.

"Oh no." She whispered. The gas had billowed behind the force-field, but also was covering their exit. The team couldn't leave the way they had come. "Guys! I managed to back off the gas, but we can't leave."

Robin's eyes widened as he looked at the Martian. "M'GANN! Can you move the gas anywhere else?"

M'gann shook her head. "No. I'm sorry." She looked determined to hold back the force, but being a gas, in was less tangible and harder to manipulate than solids or liquids.

Wally turned. "It's okay. We've totally been through worse." His smile was stretched thin, his brow wrinkled. He knew there was no other way out of the room, short of breaking the window and having the whole cave is subjected to the gas.

Aqualad turned back to the group. "We must keep going. Robin and Artemis, help me de-activate the rest of the sensors and complete the activity. M'gann, you take Superboy and Kid Flash to try and get rid of the gas. Move."

The order was short and sweet. The team split in half, Artemis continuing to swear along the way.

Wally looked at the gas wall M'gann was continuing to put effort into maintaining.

"What can we do?" Superboy asked. "We can't just POOF it away."

Kid Flash bit his lip. "We could. Displacing oxygen, energy and foreign air particles is possible through a vacuum system. I remember in the movie Zoom, Captain Zo-"

"Get to the point!" Conner barked stonily.

"If I run around it, I can dispel it into the air and ultimately transfer the particles and the gas wouldn't hurt us- as bad- if it worked." Wally said sheepishly.

"But you'll be breathing in the gas. Fear gas contains negative mind altering pathogens-"

"Guys."

"Yeah, but you heard Batman. I'll be o-"

"Wouldn't that be a risk to the te-"

"Guys!"

"I can handle it. Flash explained-"

"GUYS!" M'gann yelled. She had been ignored twice already. "I'm kind of struggling. Please hurry!"

Wally looked at Conner. He wasn't asking permission, but rather for just approval for his idea.

"Okay. Go!" Conner yelled.

"GUYS! I'm kind of struggling. Please HURRY!"

"Okay. GO!"

Artemis heard M'gann and Conner yelling. She turned around to see Wally running into the cloud of mist as fast as he could.

"WALLY!" She screamed. "NO!"
