Episode Eleven: "A Little Thunder Never Hurts"
"Take it off!" Kikyo yelled at Inuyasha.
"I don't wanna", Inuyasha pleaded.
"Take off your clothes, Inuyasha", Kagome demanded. "You're badly injured."
"No!"
"Just leave him here to die since he won't listen to reason", Sesshomaru said with a sigh.
Heading south, the Dobbleganger Duo and the Inu Brothers were suddenly attacked by a demon centipede. It would have been an easy extermination until Inuyasha pulled out his sword and started acting like a fool. And by fool, meaning recklessly attacking the demon without thinking of protecting the girls. Thus the sword didn't transform. And Inuyasha got poisoned.
Since Kagome's poisoned Kunais wasn't going to stop the demon and she had yet to master Artemis, she let Kikyo purified the demon while Sesshomaru struggle to lay his brother down.
"Inuyasha, your skin is turning purple", Kikyo gasped. "We need to get the poison out."
Sesshomaru frown. "Impudent Half-breed. Poison shouldn't affect you this way."
"Shud up, Sesshomaru", Inuyasha baked, and then hissed at the spreading poison. "Why didn't Tetsusaiga transform?"
"You're suppose to use it to protect Kikyo and me, not to just fight", Kagome said with a sigh. "Now take off your clothes."
"Watcha gonna do to me?" He asked, almost afraid.
"Well, you've lost a lot of blood so making you bleed out the poison is out of the question." Kagome yanked the boy's kimono down to his arms. "So the best way to do this without letting you die is for me to suck it out."
"Is it safe, Kagome?" Kikyo asked.
"Yeah", she answered. "I've sucked poisoned out of him before. It won't affect me and Inuyasha can heal a lot faster."
"I still say leave him here to die", Sesshomaru murmured.
"Not listening to you", Kagome said in a sing-song voice. She tilted Inuyasha's head back to expose his neck. He was already starting to sweat so Kagome didn't waste any time. Her fangs enlarged and buried themselves into the boy's neck. She could taste the spice of the poison and tried her best to suck most of it out without draining him.
Sesshomaru was not pleased with the sight. His Kagome had her fangs inside his idiot brother, whom was enjoying every bit of it. He clutched his fist at the sight of the blush rising on the half-breed's cheeks. Unable to trust himself to rip his brother limb from limb, he turned his head away from the scene.
"There we go!" Kagome wiped her bottom lip of excess blood. "Poison free, at the very least."
"How do you feel, Inuyasha?" Kikyo asked.
"Not in pain, but light-headed." He pulled back on his kimono. "I can never get used to that, Kagome."
"Well, quit being a dumbass."
Smack!
Inuyasha crashed to the ground. "Why…", he cried into the ground. "Why? I was injured."
But the girls just laughed at the boy.
And then, the entire bright sky suddenly went dark, as if a storm was coming. But Sesshomaru, Kagome or Inuyasha couldn't smell the rain.
"What's going on?" Kikyo asked. "A storm?"
"Doubt it", Kagome answered.
It was then a huge pink bubble-like creature with big buggy eyes appeared from the dark sky. "You!" boomed the creature, "Worthless creatures. Drop everything you own and leave this sacred area. Or else you'll be haunted forever."
The group didn't budge. Sesshomaru wasn't amused by the creature. Kikyo was confused on what kind of demon it was. Inuyasha, finally sitting up, was annoyed. Kagome just stared at the thing.
"A fox?" she thought out loud.
"I command you to leave this area now!" boomed the creature again. And again, the group didn't move.
"Oh my god", Kagome said. "You…are….adorable!" she exclaimed.
It was then the creature turned into smoke and down dropped a small fox kit with red hair. His eyes were emerald green and child-like. He seemed to be injured due to his fall to the ground.
Kagome squealed again and rushed to pick up the kit. "You're soooo cute! I wanna take you home!"
"He is cute", Kikyo agreed, pinching the cheeks of the fox boy.
"Hey", the kit snapped. "I'm not 'cute'. I'm a man!"
The girls looked at each other and squealed at the same time.
"What is your name?" Kagome asked.
The fox kit gave up and sighed. "It's Shippo."
"Pleased to meet you, Shippo!" Kagome hugged the boy tightly. "I'm Kagome, and this is Kikyo. Behind me is Sesshomaru and his idiot brother."
"Hey!" Inuyasha yelled.
Shippo took in sight of the people around him. "A full demon, a half-breed, a human…and a vampire?"
"Yeah, we're an unusual bunch", Kikyo giggled.
"Mind telling us why you're trying to scared us?" Kagome asked.
Shippo was silent for a moment. "I…I wanted their swords so I could fight the bastards who killed my father."
"Your father was murdered?" Kikyo asked.
Shippo nodded. "Yes. By the Thunder Brothers."
"Thunder Brothers?" Kikyo glanced at her friend.
Kagome just shrugged. "Never heard of them. Sounds like a bad infection." She looked back at the Inu Brothers. "Inuyasha? Sesshomaru? Ever heard of them?"
"They don't sound anything special", Sesshomaru said.
Inuyasha feh'd. "It's none of our business. Let's just continue heading south."
"Please", Shippo pleaded. "They wiped out my entire family. I have nowhere to go. And I want my revenge." He buried his head into Kagome's chest. "I lost them all in one night. I'm the only survivor. The least I could do for them is avenging their deaths."
Kagome felt for the boy. Revenge she could understand. And he was an orphan. With one glance over to Kikyo, she made up her mind. "Let's go, Kikyo."
"Right."
"Hold up!" Inuyasha grabbed both girls by their shoulders. "We have a mission of our own. We're not taking detours to save everyone that cries for help."
"We're not", Kagome said. "Kikyo and I will help and while you and Sesshomaru continue on. We'll catch up with you after we're down."
"For once, the half-breed speaks reason", Sesshomaru said, combing his hair with his claws. "We have our own mission to worry about and that is getting to the south. We shouldn't be delaying this by helping worthless underlings with their problems."
"He isn't worthless", Kagome snapped, clutching on to Shippo. "He's a child and he's all alone."
"The perfect opportunity to get stronger on his own."
Kagome growled at the Western Lord. "You're pretty heartless, Sesshou."
"But he's right", Shippo said. "I guess I have to do this on my own or die trying."
"Must be a Demon thing", Kagome said, rolling her eyes. "Honor and respect and being cold. Blah!"
"You have us to help you, Shippo", Kikyo assured. "Kagome and I wouldn't let you go into battle without any help."
"Mostly I don't want you to turn out like Mister Icicle here", Kagome added. "Or his dumbass brother."
Smack!
"Whhhhy?!" Inuyasha cried.
"You two will help?" Shippo asked, looking at Kikyo. "But you're human."
Kagome laughed. "Kikyo can defeat a demon with her eyes close and bathe in their blood in the morning. Trust me; Kikyo is awesome when it comes to killing demons."
"'Bathe in their blood'?" Shippo shivers. "Is she not a Holy Priestess?"
"The only thing "Holy" about Kikyo is her-"
"Don't you say it", Kikyo snapped. "He's a child, remember?"
"Ah, right." Kagome laughed. "So tell me, what are these "Thunder Brothers" like anyway?"
Shippo looked away from the girls. "Well, there are two of them and they got the name "Thunder Brothers" due to their thunder and lightning attacks. The lightning paralyzes the victim while the thunder blows them away. They are really strong."
"Sounds like a challenge", Kikyo giggled. "We might just get our hands dirty on this one, Kagome."
"We even might have some casualties too." Kagome's blood was pumping in excitement that she almost squashed Shippo with her breasts. "Let's go!"
"Kagome!" Sesshomaru boomed, killing the little vampire's excitement.
Kagome faced the demon with an annoyed look. "What do you want now? You're not going to convince me to not go after them."
"The hell I can!" With that, Sesshomaru picked up the little vampire and continue to walk on the path they were heading towards.
"Let me go, Sesshou or I'll kick your ass!
"You won't get far", he said, nonchalantly. "You have poison inside you. You might be immune to it, but it can still effect you if you move around too much."
With that said, Kagome quit struggling. "I hate you…"
"You'll get over it."

Mizuki didn't understand why he was associating with these demons. But it wasn't like he had a choice. He was captured from his room and sodomized by a vampire that wouldn't let him go. All he wanted to do is to be by Kaname's side and help him be able to marry Kagome. But misfortune has a thing for him. Now it is in a castle with two demons, calling each other 'brother' though they look nothing alike.
The human-looking one, believed to be Hiten, was a tall boy with long black hair that was in a braided ponytail. Mizuki had to admit that he was extremely good-looking for a demon, though vampires have the most beauty. And then there was Manten, a big, white-looking demon with a big head and little hair on his head.
Mizuki didn't want to be here, but as long as Kisuke has him on a leash and threaten to tell Kaname that he 'betrayed him', he had to cooperate and hopefully he'd be able to go home. But for what he had to do, it would defiantly put him in death row if Kaname ever found out. 'I just want to go home.'
"State your business, Vampire", Hiten ordered as he pet his new fox coat.
Mizuki straighten up. "Well, I see you guys destroyed a whole tribe of foxes."
"It was a marvelous kill", exclaimed Manten. "Wasn't it, brother?"
"Indeed, brother", Hiten agreed. "But that still doesn't explain why a Vampire is here."
"I'm here to make you a deal", Mizuki said. "As an order from my…'Master'."
"Oh?" Hiten was intrigued. He never made a deal with Vampires before but he had heard that their rewards were handsomely large. "What is it?"
Mizuki gulped. "Well, my 'master' wants you to go after this band of travelers that are heading south. There's a half-breed, a priestess, a vampire and the Lord of the Western Lands."
"Sesshomaru?" Manten gasped. "Really?"
"He's travelling with a group like that?" Hiten asked. "That's rather hard to believe."
"Well, the half-breed, I believe, happens to be his brother", Mizuki explained. "And the priestess and vampire are the Doppelganger Duo Kikyo and Kagome."
"Doppelganger Duo, you say?" Hiten looked over to his younger brother. "What do you think, Manten?"
"I heard that the Doppleganger Duo are more beautiful than any goddess and their virtures are still pure", Manten said. "But what are we suppose to do with them if they are traveling with Sesshomaru and his brother?"
Mizuki stared at the brothers. "My 'master' would like for you to stop the Inu Brothers and capture the Doppleganger Duo. And as a reward, riches and the virtue of the girls."
Hiten laughed as he smacked his brother on the back. "That's something I can't refuse. Are you in, Brother?"
"Indeed, Brother", Manten agreed.
"Great!" Hiten looked over at the Vampire. "When do we start?"
"The group is near a central village of Ozarka. You can take them there." Mizuki looked down to the ground.
"Great. We will dispose of Sesshomaru and his half-witted brother."
"Yes, Brother", Manten agreed.
"Thank you." Mizuki bowed. "I will have your riches after you completed your mission." He squeezed his eyes closed. 'Please, forgive me, Kagome…Kaname. Dear Goddess' from above, please let Kagome survive through this.'

After a few days of walking, the gang, including Shippo, ran across a village named 'Ozarka'. Luckily they were demon-friendly and offered the gang a place to stay the night and food. Even when they get to relax, Kagome was extremely peeved at Sesshomaru to the point of the few days they walked; she never said a word to him.
When Shippo was full from his meal, he took a small survey on his new companions. Starting off with Sesshomaru. From the stories his father told him, he was strong and most feared in the Western Lands and hold a fourth of the power in all of Japan. He was cold to Inuyasha, convinced that they were brothers, respected Kikyo and often looks over towards the still pouting Kagome.
Inuyasha was a jerk all of the time and it only takes Kagome to call him a 'Dumbass' and he crashes to the ground. Kikyo has pretty demented and scary when she talked about eradicating demons and being soaked in their blood, but she was extremely nice and caring and was always fun to talk to, as well as Kagome. He thought Kagome might be the strongest in the group since she was a Vampire but from the past few days, she hasn't been drinking blood.
'I thought Vampires drink blood every day?' he thought. 'She's a Vampire, no doubt. She even smells and has the reflexes as one and her beauty is outstanding. But why isn't she drinking?'
"Shippo?" When he heard his name, he blushed when he realized that Kagome was staring back at him.
"You've been staring at me for awhile", Kagome said. "Are you okay?"
"Oh…yeah."
Kagome then walked over to him and patted his head. "No worries. I'll still help you get your revenge on the Thunder Brothers. Once the Ice Prince finally melts and lets me."
Sesshomaru rolled his eyes at his new nickname.
"Couldn't you just leave just go off on your own instead of ignoring him?" he asked.
Kagome shrugged. "I could, but he would've hunted me down and tie me to his back." She then sighed. "Jerk."
"He had mentioned that you guys are heading South. What's there?"
Kagome frowns. "Well, I'm looking some someone who took my family away." She sat down next to the fox kit and held her knees close to her chest. "He killed my parents and eradicated my kingdom and framed the man I loved. I lost most of my memories and they are still returning. I just don't know my Family name, my brother or where he could be or if he is even alive." She sighed.
"You want revenge, just like me."
"Yeah." Kagome smiled at the boy.
"But wouldn't you be weak at the fight?" He asked.
"What do you mean?"
"I've been traveling with you for a few days…and you're a vampire. You haven't been drinking blood at all. Aren't you sick or weak right now?"
"Of course not", Kagome laughed. "Pure-blood Vampires have to drink blood regularly. I'm half-vampire so I can last a long time without blood."
"Is that so?"
Kagome nodded.
"Then what do you do when you do need blood?"
"Well, Mister Icicle?" Kagome looked over at Sesshomaru.
"You're actually speaking to me now?" Sesshomaru glanced at the little vampire.
"How many days has it been since I last had blood?"
Sesshomaru thought for a moment. "I think since I last gave you blood…over three weeks ago?"
"Doesn't sucking poison from Inuyasha counts as having blood?" Kikyo asked.
"No", both Kagome and Sesshomaru answered.
"It has to be blood for Kagome", Sesshomaru said. "Nothing else."
"Does that mean you're going to hunt down a Human?" Shippo asked.
Kagome laughs. "No. That's why I have Mister Icicle."
"Sesshomaru is her blood bank", Inuyasha added as he snickered. Then Kikyo and Kagome joined in the laughter while Sesshomaru silently sulked.

Kagome couldn't sleep. Even with Kikyo by her side, the little vampire was restless. She was able to slip outside and hop onto the rooftop of the place they were staying at. The Village of Ozarka was utterly peaceful at night. It reminded her of the Mikage Village. Peaceful drunken nights that village brought her.
Looking up at the sky, the moon was full and bright.
She then sighed. "How am I going to do this? Naraku is located in the South in a Human village. But even with that, I don't know what he looks like. Was it a mistake to go after him now? He might not even remember me."
"Already doubting your cause?"
Kagome quickly turned around and found Sesshomaru behind her, looking beautiful under the moonlight. She started to blush. "Uh…why aren't you sleeping, Sesshou?"
"I would be sleeping still if you hadn't left." He turned his focus towards the moon. "It's beautiful, isn't it?"
"Yeah…"
"Kagome…" Sesshomaru slowly approached the little vampire. He slipped one clawed finger and curled her hair around it. His golden eyes were lost into the violet one; the very one he fell in love with. He then glanced down at the chocker she was given by Kaname. He glared at the jewelry as if it was a bad burn on the girl's neck. 'The fool thinks he can claim her like this…'
"Sesshou?" It was her voice that brought him back.
"Get back to bed", he said as he turned around. "We have a lot of ground to cover until we reach South."
Kagome felt a little empty. Sesshou didn't try to kiss her ever since they left the Vampire Kingdom. She misses his kisses, but she quickly got over it when she heard a clash of Thunder in the far distance. Again, she couldn't smell any rain…but it was blood that filled her nose.
"Uh, Sesshou…it looks like we're gonna have to get the others." She glanced over at the man. "We have company."
Sesshomaru also smelt the blood and growl lowly. "I was hoping to not deal with these "brothers" until our mission was over."
"Oh come on, Sesshou. It'll be fun." She grabbed onto his sleeve and gave it a good tug. "I've been dying for a good battle with stronger demons."
"But they are the Thunder Brothers, Kagome", he reminded. "You don't do so well with thunder storms or lightening. Even with Demons who possess these powers."
'That's right. I don't like storms.' Kagome shivered slightly and lifted up her chin. "Well, a little Thunder never hurts, eh?"
