Back with another update already? Yup! XD Only one chapter to go after this, please let me know what you think, I've missed you guys XD Read on awesome people!

Roxie drank in the clean air greedily as she kept her arms locked around Dippers shoulders. Freedom. Space. Open. She was okay. They were okay. They were... Hold it! She suddenly snapped her damp eyes open and shoved him away, hand reached to swipe his cap off of his head and smack him repeatedly with it.

"Hey! Hey watch it!" Dipper complained, shielding himself, "What's that for?"

"You were supposed to stay away you idiot! Now Gideon..." She suddenly noticed something. They were the same size as her... That earned him another swat, "You let Gideon shrink you as well?"

Mabel shrugged somewhat sheepishly, "Well Gideon kinda doesn't know..."

Roxie halted in her attack to give her a quizzical look, "He... what?"

Seeing his opportunity, Dipper swiped his hat back and adjusted it back onto his head with a stubborn scowl, "If you give us a second to explain!"

"Then do so."

"I'm trying!"

"Not very well!"

"Because you keep interrupting me!"

"Because you're not getting to the point!"

"The point is that we came back to rescue you because believe it or not I actually care about you!"

She paused, watching as his eyes widened a little in surprise at this own words, hers doing likewise, "...What?"

"We. I mean we care about you. Because you tried to rescue us first and... Look lets just get out of here, okay?"

"Hang on a minute!"

"Why? Sooner we get out and get the crystal back the sooner you can run off again. Or fly..."

Mabel looked at her brother, "Dipper that's not fair!"

"Why not? It's what she's wanted from the start. Right, Roxie?"

She hesitated, and then looked away in distain as his assumption. So much so, that in her reply she made herself lie to them, "Yes. That's what I want."

"Okay then... Good. Let's go..."

He had stumbled to his feet and wondered over to the edge of the desk before anyone could make a reply. Roxie stared after him as he gripped the lamp wire and slid back down to the ground out of sight. She'd already guessed that the twins cared about her or else they wouldn't put themselves through all of this. And in turn she admitted to caring for them for the same reason. Plus they were the only ones to treat her as a person, for the most part. So why did he sound so angry at the idea that she could have doubted that? Better yet, why had he seemed so jittery when he said 'I' instead of 'we'. It was just a common mistake. Right? If so, then why had he reacted like that? And how dare he make that assumption about her and- You know what, it wasn't worth it...

She shifted awkwardly and pushed her tangled mass of hair out of her face, "I just didn't want you two here. Gideon's after you and being here just makes it easier for him."

Mabel elbowed her, "Ah don't worry so much. Let's face it, it's not the first time we've gone against his jerky butt and won."

"But we haven't won this time, and we haven't gone against him where all of us are this size."

"Not you but me and Dipper have! The first time we found the crystals, Gideon made us mini for hours! Now look at us!"

Roxie cocked an eyebrow, "You're both still mini..."

"Pfft, details-details and different circumstance. Point is, we'll be fine! And you and Dipper will be too..."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"So when we get out of here to you think you can take me flying sometime? Like when you get more practice I mean. Well I can help you practice if you like? What d'ya say?"

Roxie had to blink a few times just to recollect if they'd actually moved the conversation along that quickly or if she missed something. But no, Mabel was just trying to change the subject. Not wanting to complain this time, she tried to answer the questions best she could. Anything to ignore what had just happened.

"Right uh... If we all get through this in one piece then I'll try and take you flying. That's a big IF though."

"Only because everything's big for us at the moment, silly. Now put those flappers to good use and lets get outta here!"

Roxie admired her optimism, but couldn't return it. She stretched her wings out, a sense of relief flowing through them at getting some air, "But what about the crystal? Gideon took it to go after you guys and-"

"And now you brought them right to me."

The southern twang to the loud voice from above made the pair jolt in panic. They looked up and were practically blinded by the light bouncing off of the pale blond hair belonging to their observer. Roxie felt a tremor of panic from having just being freed from her prison, she didn't want to go back anytime soon. Mabel jumped up in a battle-stance, glaring upwards and seemingly trying to shield her friend in the process. It didn't do any good. In seconds Roxie was already hoisted into the air, wincing as her wings here pinched between two fat fingers.

"Ain't you a little peach..."

"Put me down, Gideon! Mabel get out of here!"

"Now now, don't be rude. I'm sure my lil' Mabel will want to stick around longer. I'm sure she doesn't want my Bugbear after her again."

"No I do not you big jerk!"

"Oh don't worry, Mabel, there's no need for that since you're already here."

Roxie kicked but she wasn't close enough to cause damage, "That thing will turn on you the minute realises you've been feeding it lies! It'll only take so many more false compliments, Gideon!"

"I know, which is why I set it back into the wild as soon as I heard y'all sneaking around. But that don't matter much now since I've gotten what I want. My new main attraction, my revenge on those two, and after using this crystal the Shack is as good as mine. I thank y'all kindly, Adhene."

"That's not her name, Gideon! H-Hey let me go!"

Mabel gritted her teeth as a chubby fist closed around her, rising her up so she was level with Roxie. The two stared helplessly at one another but refused to stop struggling. Gideon grinned cruelly down at them. Everything was coming to plan. Just as he wanted. The size altering crystal was now attached around his neck in a crude version of the pendant Roxie had worn not too long ago. There was no point in reaching for it, even at eye-level they were still held too far away.

Gideon chuckled and took a step to turn the other way, "Now lets see where that boy scampered off to. He couldn't have gotten far without my Queen and my little Adhene now could he-EEE!"

As Gideon had taken a step, something snagged at his ankles and he stumbled to regain balance. But his feet had become entangled in themselves and in a split second he was falling to the floor. Mabel yelped in panic as the ground rushed upwards. Roxie clenching her eyes shut and curling into a ball for the feared impact of the ground. Gideon shrieked as he fall, the air being smacked out of him as he crashed to the ground. The impact was near ground shaking from the girls' perspective; Mabel shielded from harm by Gideon's fist while Roxie had the dense carpet along with Gideon's arm jarring to soften the blow a little. Not by much, but enough so that her legs felt sore, but definitely not broken.

Gideon had lost grip on the two from dizziness and they managed to scramble away before he could adjust himself. He glanced behind him to see that his shoelaces were tied together. And standing on the heel of his right shoe, in plain sight with a determined smirk in place, was Dipper.

"Her name is Roxie, Gideon; and for the record, my sister will never be your Queen."

Gideon glared in hatred, "You!"

"Me." He smirked before jumping to the ground and making a sprint up to the front, "Mabel, grab the crystal!"

"Way ahead of you bro-seph!"

"What? No!"

Gideon turned his head in outrage as the tiny brunette darted between his fingers to get to the thin chain around his fat neck. He snatched at her but he couldn't move properly from where the fall had knocked the air out of him as well as the awkward angle at which he was laying. His fists pounded at the ground, forcing Roxie to roll from one side to the other to avoid them. She looked up in time to see Mabel struggling with the chain attached to the crystal. Roxie jumped up to her feet, knowing that she had to distract Gideon while he was still down. She understood that if he took his attention back to Mabel, or even stood up, then the crystal would be out of reach all over again.

She rushed to one of his fingers and stamped down hard on it, earning a cry of anger and pain in return. She ducked when a palm loomed over her, but then found herself thrown to the ground again as Dipper collided into her so that they were both away from harm. They rolled to the side to make distance before scrambling to their feet again.

"Get back here you-"

The villains words were blocked out by an oddly feminine yelp when the snap of metal could be heard around them along with a triumphant yell from Mabel. The girl darted towards her brother and friend, a crystal in hand with a long broken chain snaking on the ground behind her. Gideon snatched at the chain greedily.

"Give that back!"

"Never!" she snapped with determination, tugging at the crystal until the chain unravelled from it completely, "Dipper catch!"

As she threw the gem, Dipper had to go long into a run to catch it, clutching it to his chest. Gideon finally managed to regain his breathe and push himself up to his feet. He moved quickly compared to them thanks to his size advantage, boots stomping threateningly around them, making them wobble. Dipper turned and stared up at the colossal figure advancing on him. His teeth here clamped together in panic. And in that moment, he clenched his eyes shut and raised the gem in a mode of defence. Just hoping for the best.

The girls watched in awe as a pink light shone brightly, making them wince from the glare. The sounds of a booming yell of protest slowly extinguished into an average threat. They blinked. And then grinned. Dipper peeked an eye open before lowering the crystal. Soon enough he was grinning too, smugly and proudly. For just in front of him, was a shrunken blond boy who was now down to scale with them.

"Not so tough now, huh, Gideon?"

"Y-You fool! I'm not afraid of you!

"Oh really?" he arched an eyebrow, smirking as his sister and Roxie joined at his side, "How about now?"

Gideon stared at the trio, taking a step back, "What're you gonna do to me?"

Roxie folded her arms, "I have an idea... Dipper, do you mind?"

"Not at all." He answered, turning the crystal over in his hands, drowning all but the southern captor in a bright blue light.

Moments later, Roxie, Dipper and Mabel were all back in their human sized forms, adjusting a tiny but struggling figure into a restraint made from the chain they had once been around his neck. Now, it was bound around his middle like a yo-yo, dangling him from the railing of the curtain so that he was in the middle like a wind-chime.

Gideon kicked furiously, his arms bound at his sides, "Y'all better change me back right now! You won't get away with this!"

"With what? Leaving of our own free will?" Roxie scoffed, "Shame on us..."

"And too bad it's too dark outside for the crystal to work at the moment..." Dipper pointed out with a sly glance, "Looks like you'll have to wait till morning to get back to normal."

"I mean we could use the lamp light like we just did but... At least this gives you time to think about what you've done, mister!" Mabel scolded, giving the little trickster a poke to send him swinging from his suspension.

"You won't get away with this, Pines family! I'll set my Bugbear on you yet, and that Shack will be mine!"

"What Bugbear? You set it free remember?" Roxie sneered, deliberately showing off her teeth to make him pale a little, "And good luck finding another one."

"Y-You won't hear the end of this!"

"Actually..." Mabel sang, picking up a tiny bit of carpet dust and shoving into Gideon's mouth to silence him, "...I think we have. See ya!"

"N-mm! MM!"

Roxie gave a mock polite wave as she joined the twins in leaving the tent, letting Gideon struggle on his own in silence. It felt so good to be out in the open air again, her wings opening an folding behind her to let the cool evening breeze stroke them. She grinned, the crystal in hand as if she never wanted to let it go again. As they made their way into the woods and back to the Shack, Roxie turned around to give Mabel a beam.

"Thank you. I really... I mean if it weren't for you two then... Thanks."

Mabel took her by surprise in an attack hug, "Well what else were we gonna do, silly; let you stay with Gideon forever? I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy, which most of the time is Gideon!"

She laughed, "I'd feel sorry for him but... nah!"

Dipper shifted awkwardly. He was glad she was okay, and that they had won this time. But their previous argument was still playing in his head from when they had been up on the desk. She admitted that she wanted to run off again. And he felt a little disappointed. He was sure Mabel did too. It just felt that Roxie was only using them for some sort of hiding and that didn't feel right.

He folded his arms, "Looks like you're all set to leave again then..."

Roxie blinked, "Huh? Oh..." Now she remembered, he wanted her gone right? That's why he kept mentioning her leaving. Well, if that's what they wanted... "Yeah, I guess I am."

"What? But- already?" Mabel protested.

"Apparently." Roxie shrugged dejectedly, "I'll have to collect some things from the Shack first though..."

"At least stay one more night! Please?"

Roxie looked to Dipper, he was the one that wanted her gone, right? "Well, Dippy, what do you say?"

He put his hands in his pockets and kept his head down, "Sure..."
