When Gibbs woke up that morning, he was not expecting to be greeted by a frantic phone call from his senior agent. The shrill ringing beside his ear woke him from a frightful dream. He looked at the clock that sat on his bedside table, red numbers flashing at him. When he heard the news that a Bishops car had been found in a mangled wreck, he was out the door without even having a shower or grabbing a coffee.

He had driven in silence to where his senior agent had told him to meet him, already seeing the flashing lights of police cars and bright yellow tape that cordoned off an area on a very busy road. A short red-headed officer was directing traffic, and another taller blond officer was standing guard behind the yellow police tape. Gibbs had parked his car next to what he assumed was Tony's, turned off the engine and promptly made his way towards the scene.

Dark storm clouds threatened rain as he took in the sight of Bishops car strewn along the stretch of road in pieces, the bumper was laying at the side of the road, hidden in the long spindles of yellow grass, the passenger side mirror was cracked and scattered in the middle of the road and the car its self was upside down at least a good twenty feet away from the hood that may have been ripped off when the car was rolling.

There was a considerable amount of blood pooled on the hard tarmac, a few feet away from the mirror, a small indentation of what he assumed could have been a body distorted a otherwide perfect circle of blood. Leroy got closer, he could see the driver's side caked in a significant amount of blood, running down the side of the door, it looked like something you would see in a horror movie.

The older agent looked around, tearing his eyes away from the scene just in time for him to notice both McGee and DiNozzo looking at him from behind the barriers at the side of the road. He made his way towards them, unblinking.

"Morning Boss" a voice greeted his ear, he did not bother to greet them back.

"What do we know?" He asked, his two agents looked at his with large eyes.

"Now would be a good time to start!" He shouted gruffly,, his two agents jumped into action. McGee, speaking first.

"I checked with the road services for any camera along this road, sent them to Abby. We have talked to the man who phoned in the crash. He was on his way to work when he called it in, we have his name and number but there is not much more we can ask him."

Tony continued.

"There are skid marks leading towards and away from Bishop's car, they lead towards the quarry then disappear. The tracks have been wiped away by the men that started work at five in the quarry; we can only get the tracks from the diggers now. There is no witness, or at least, non that have come forward."

Tony took a breath, McGee continued.

"We have taken pictures of the tracks and sent them to Abby, we have swabbed both the blood in the car and the blood over there" McGee pointed to the pool of blood a few feet away from them.

"Any bodies?" Gibbs asked, not wanting to know the answer.

"Just one"

Gibbs heart skipped a beat at his words.

A few minutes had passed and neither of them had said another word, they silently made their way down a dusty slope of the quarry, coming to a stop by some containers. A man dressed in black lay face down in the dirt, a large gaping hole making a perfect circle at the back of his head. Gibbs stared down at him, silently relived.

"Who is he?" Gibbs asked.

"We tried to run his prints but, he has none." McGee said, his fingers are scared, they look like old self-inflicted burns, maybe to hide his fingerprints, maybe Ziva is right boss, maybe we are dealing with the Russian Mafia here..."

Gibbs sighed.

"Get him back to Ducky, we will let him find out who this guy is."

From that moment forward, the day had moved slowly. The sky was slowly darkening a cold rain fell dully across the crime scene. The only time that Gibbs and his agents spoke was to ask questions about what to do next or yelling out if they found something, other than that, there was a hushed and welcomed silence between all three.

The blood samples had been sent off to Abby, the John Doe had been sent to Ducky, now all that there was left to do, was recover everything they could from the crime scene and wait on the Doctor and the Scientist.

Tony could only wonder what had happened to the two women that he cared deeply about.

He could only hope that no harm had come to them despite the pools of blood.

It was dark when they arrived back at NCIS. They had refused to give up until they found something that could lead them to the girls, but as darkness fell and all that was found was an empty bullet casing, they has finely given in and come back.

McGee's stomach rumbled uncomfortably as he threw his jacket somewhere behind his desk than flopped down into his chair, a heavy and tired sky escaping past his frozen lips.

Tony placed down the large pizza he had been carrying on his desk, flipping open the cardboard top and grabbing a slice, Tim could smell the meaty aroma from his desk and made his way towards it, grabbing himself a slice as well.

They ate in silence, the office slowly becoming emptier. An hour had passed and the pizza had been all but demolished, a few stray bits of red sauce and pepperoni splattering the cardboard box that lay open.

"We need to do something." Tony said quietly from his desk. Tim sighed, defeated.

"What can we do Tony. We have to wait for the blood screens to come back, we still need to identify the body and the tire tracks. Abby and Ducky are working as fast as they can. Until then, we can't do anything. "

Tony sighed. "What about the CCTV footage."

"I have looked at it one hundred times over Tony, I could not get anything, and all I see is Bishop's car drive passed, then nothing."

"What about the bullet casing?" The senior agent asked, Tim shrugged.

"Abby is still running it through that program of hers, until Abby and Ducky have done their Job, all we can is wait."

Tony looked sideways at his friend and rose from his seat, approaching Tim in a threatening manner.

"You seem very calm about this McGee, almost as if you don't care what happened, do you even care that Ziva is missing!" Tony shouted, now inches away from Tim's face. McGee frowned, biting his now dry lips.

"And Bishop." He said. It was Tony's turn to frown.

"What?" Tony answered. McGee cleared his throat.

"You said I didn't care that Ziva was missing...what about Bishop?" The two agents glared at each other. "She was the one that left Tony...she was the one that didn't want anything to do with us. She did not even bother to contact us for two and half years!" Tim's face was red. "Not one letter, not one phone call not even a dam post card!"

There was another silence between them.

"The only reason Ziva is back is for revenge. If she had not saved Bishop in that warehouse, we would probably not even know she was back."

Tony came to a sudden realisation that Tim was right. The colour in his face paled back to normal and his entire body slumped ever so slightly. He had to admit it, Ziva had not even tried to stay in contact.

Someone cleared their throat behind them. Tony turned, his breath catching in his throat.

Behind him stood two burly men, each of them at least six-foot tall, their well muscled arms bulging out of the long sleeve V neck pullovers that they wore. They were both very tanned, only one of them sporting a well-trimmed beard, standing next to them was a tall dark woman, her dark hair contrasting well with her bright green eyes. Tony was amazed (and a little scared) to see her cleaning her long fingernails with a knife. But it was the smaller elderly women that stood in front of them that scared him the most.

"Good evening Agent DiNoozo." She greeted, her husky voice booming through the bullpen, with an evident accent.

"Ma'am." He greeted. "So what brings the Director of Mossad to NCIS."

Orli Elbaz, lips thinned as she answered.

"I am afraid I am here for one reason and one reason only." She said, her distinctive voice sounding sad and conflicted.

"And what reason would that be Director? " Gibbs voice startled Tony as he strolled into the bullpen, coffee in hand. The older man-made his way to his desk, then turned to look at the elder women. Orli closed her eyes and took a breath before speaking.

"For the capture and arrest of Ziva David."
