Saito's POV

Louise seemed very off when I looked over to her, for the time being I had been speaking to Agnes but when I brought up scars Louise's face changed drastically, I wonder what was up with her? I took the time while I was eating to think about it, it only took a couple of minutes before it popped into my head. That was right, Louise is probably hating herself for the scars I have from her whipping me, it's not like I hate them or anything so she shouldn't worry over it.

"Louise are you alright? You seem distant." I knew I shouldn't of brought up scars!

"Whaaa? Oh I'm fine sorry, I was day dreaming." Her smile that she put on just brightened my day, it was sincere so I decided not to pester her with anything.

For about half of our trip Louise was very quiet and she kept staring out the window, locked in a gaze with the wild. "Saito, do you regret being in this world?" Her voice was very monotone.

"Louise, I could never regret it because I met you, my life is nothing without you in it." I tried to sound as happy as possible but Louise still would not face me.

"Louise, something is bothering you, what is it?" This time I couldn't help but have a deadly serious tone.

"I'm just a bad person, I dragged you into my world, away from your family and now you could die, not being able to see your family one last time and I just can't bare the fact I did all this to you." Her voice was breaking with every word, until the last one was only just a whisper until the waterfall started.

I dragged her over to me, taking her on my lap and snaking my arms around her waist. "Louise, you're my family now, yes at one point I missed them but I'm happy with you and I'm happy to be able to try and stop this thing for this world, whether is kills me or not this is the world I love, this is the world I met you." Her tears were slowly falling onto my hands, soaking them.

She shuffled her body round to face me and buried her head into the crook of my neck, soaking the collar of my t shirt and gripping my jumper with force. Her crying echoed through my head, sending shivers up my spine. The sound of Louise crying always broke me inside and made me feel horrible, always thinking I had caused them. I lifted her head very softly with my hand so her big puffy eyes were locked with mine, my other hand dragged up and wiped away her tears.

I gently caressed her cheek with the back of my hand before dragging her face closer, her heavy breath was wafting over my face nicely before our lips clashed, sending waves of pleasure all through my mouth. The way she forcefully kissed back was a feeling I never wanted to leave my lips, her arms laced around my neck pulling me closer to her body.

"We're almost there!" Agnes shouted from the front, making me and Louise jump and break away from each other, both blushing wildly.

"Oh yeah, thanks." I had to awkwardly say back to her.

Louise looked straight at my eyes then down a bit before darting back up, her cheeks taking the tinge of pink. "Come here you." I whispered across to her before she hopped over to me and landed on my lap, taking my lips as hers like she owned me.

This side of Louise was always exciting, whether I only saw it for a couple of minutes it would still set my mind on fire. After a long cart ride and session of kissing and touching we eventually made it to the castle, Agnes guiding us in to go meet the Queen. "Louise, Saito I'm so glad you came!" The Queen was always cheery whenever we came to see her.

"Your majesty, what is it we have to do? We need details." It the first thing to come out of my mouth which obviously bugged Louise enough to elbow my gut.

"Oh yes, the plan well.." It took her 15 minutes to explain everything to us, saying she needed Louise to open a world door to another world and for me to be able to battle it for long enough to create it and push it through.

"Do you really think it'll work?" Louise questioned, the worry showing on her face.

"I hope so, I am truly sorry for using you but we have no other options, no one else can open a world door." The queen bowed her head at the both of us.

"Your majesty, no need to apologise, Me and Louise wanted to help anyway."

Louise's POV

I looked over to Saito, his face was pulled up into a grin where as mine was a little saddened. This really was going to happen. "Do we know where this thing is right now?" I asked with a tinge of worry.

"Yes we do, it's nearing the castle at a drastic rate and that's why we need you so suddenly!"

"Got it, we'll do all we can." Saito's confidence scared me, how could he be like this when I'm an utter mess.

"Agnes will take you out where we have an army ready to help attack it into a portal."

"Thank you, well we shall see you when it's over then." Saito smiled brightly before taking my hand and walking us towards Agnes.

"Louise, are you afraid?" His tone was different this time, deeper.

"Yes, what if it doesn't work." Before Agnes could say anything to us Saito had wrapped me in a hug, tighter than ever before.

"Don't think like that, we always make it through these things don't we?" He chuckled slightly into my hair before slowly releasing me and taking my hand to follow Agnes.

When I looked up Agnes smiled warmly at me before mouthing 'It'll be okay, I know it.' From then on none of us spoke a word or looked at each other, we just went straight to were the monster would be coming to attack. It wasn't long until the we all saw dust and what seemed to be a giant shadow heading towards us at such velocity we almost couldn't keep up with it.

"Are you ready?" Saito looked towards me with his warrior face on.

"As ready as I could ever be." My confident reply made me actually feel slightly more confident, we were going to beat this!

Most of the army the Queen had sent out took their positions, Agnes joining me and Saito at the front. "Can't let you guys have all the fun, right?" Her joking smile warmed us both, knowing we'd have people smile that everyday if we defeated this made both of us want to defeat it even more! The silent waiting felt horrible, the thing wasn't showing itself until the dust would disappear but what should have been a couple of second felt like an eternity for all of us.

When all the dust had faded off with the wind we could see nothing, it was as if the giant shadow we saw was a mere nothing trying to trick us. "There it is! Louise start chanting your spell!" Saito screamed at me while running off at high speed to attack it with everyone else. Before I started to say my spell I took a split second glance at it, far from what I'd thought it to be. This thing was small, around the size of Saito, It had crazy fangs dangling out of its mouth and the body looked to be slightly mutated. Though small and hardly able to fight, this thing was making the queens army fly away from the blows they were receiving. I was half way through my chant when I felt something collide with my body and before I lost conciousness I heard a faint "LOUISE!" Then everything went black.

OOO What'll happen next? I do wonder. c;
