Hello, so I'm sick right now, but here's the new chapter anyway, I hope you'll like it. Happy reading! :)

Annabeth's POV
After I changed into fresh new clothes from my locker, I watched my brothers, Jason, Percy, and other kids do some jog around the pool. On the 5th lap, I got bored and decided to go to the mall first. After all, Bobby told me that training will end at 2 in the afternoon. I left an opened text message in Matthew's phone because I can't find Bobby's and left.
During my drive to the mall, I thought of Percy. His beautiful smile. His closeness to my brothers even though he knew them just then. His green eyes which seemed to sparkle whenever he smiles. I blushed when I recalled his fine body. How his wet shirt made him look so hot.
"Oh my gods, Annabeth. When did you become a pervert?" I scolded myself. Thank the gods I finally arrived at the mall. I need to do something else so I can forget what happened awhile ago.
I'm not a mall-person actually, but there's this bookstore I love to go to. There is no instance when I left that store without buying a book. So when I entered the mall, I walked straight to that store. I scanned for a good book to read and landed on John Green's "The Fault in Our Stars" book. I've heard a lot of good reviews about this book. I finally decided to buy the hard bound copy of it and did one final scanning then left the store.
Not knowing what to do next, I called my bestfriend but all I got was his voicemail.
"Hi Luke! Movie bonding? We haven't did something together for a while now. I miss my bestfriend. So yeah, call me if you'd come." I waited for a response and lucky me, he called back.
"Annabeth! Sorry I didn't get your call, I was doing something. Is the movie offer still up? 'cause I'd love to bond with my bestfriend again. I miss you too." he said.
I giggled, "Of course it's still up. I'll wait for you then."
"Okay see you soon." Luke hang up.
After 15 minutes, I finally saw him walking towards me. He hugged me tight and it made me happy. I missed him so much. He had been so busy lately that he never hang out with me. I smiled at him when I pulled away.
"What? Is something on my face?" he asked.
"No. No, I just missed you. You've been busy." I told him.
"I know, now I'm here to make it up for you." he offered his arm to me and I gladly accepted it and hooked my arm around his.
"So what movie do you want to watch, Annie?" he asked.
"Sea of Monsters." I told him, "and don't call me Annie!" I was so giddy because Luke finally had the time to spend time with me that I didn't really paid attention to the movie.
So if you give me an exam about it, I'll probably fail which is so unlike me. All I can tell you is there's this guy, a half god and half human or they call themselves half-bloods, who went on a quest with a girl, also a half-blood, and his half brother (who is a baby cyclops), and bestfriend (who is half goat and half human) to get the golden fleece and save the poisoned pine tree which happened to be another half-blood, well before she was turned into a tree. There's a lot of 'half's in it.
All through the movie, I kept glancing on Luke's face. He's really handsome and I'll admit that I like him. I like him because he cared for me for so many years. He is like my protector. Well just until he became busy with basketball, his girlfriend whom I never met, and some other things I don't know. It was not just like before. So times like this is very precious to me, these are the times when everything felt just like before. He makes me feel very special like everything's going to be just fine when I'm with him, that he won't let anyone hurt me, ever.
"Movie's good. The bad guy is pretty cool for a villain." Luke remarked which, of course, I can't recall about that bad guy.
So I said something intelligent like, "Uh huh! He is pretty cool." Luke gave me a weird look.
"Yeah and I like the part when the hero bonked his head on a giant's butt. It was hillarious." he said. Okay, I didn't know that but I was not paying attention so I'm not sure if that really happened.
To impress him, I said, "Oh my gods, yes! It was really funny." I laughed and Luke stared at me.
"What?" I asked him and he just smirked at me. Realization dawned on me. Darn it, he knew.
"That part wasn't real, right?" I asked, ashamed.
"No, but I'd like to see that on the next movie." he said and bursted out laughing. I glared at him until he finally ran out of air, which was pretty long. When he's done, I punched his arm.
"Hey, I was not the one who did not pay attention to the movie. If you invited me just so you can stare at me, you could've said, I'm free all the time. You can stare at me whole day." he teased me.
"Well, I'm not the one who had been busy and did not have extra time anymore to bond with his bestfriend." I retorted and his smile faded.
Great, Annabeth, you upset him. You're really good at upsetting people lately. I scolded myself.
"Is that really how you feel? I'm sorry, Annabeth. I'll make it up to you, okay?" he said.
"No, it's okay. I was just teasing you. It's fine, really." I assured him which was a lie.
"Are you sure?" he asked just in time for his cellphone to ring. Great. He raised his pointing finger in a just-wait motion and answered his phone, a few steps away from me.
"Um, yeah, sure. I'm used to it, anyway." I muttered to myself.
I was scowling at him when his back's facing me and when he's done talking to his phone and finally approached me I gave him a sweet smile. Luke also smiled at me. The kind of smile he always gave me these days, in which tells me that he's got to go somewhere, therefore, I'm going to be alone again.
"Um, I have to-" he started.
"It's fine, I guess I'll go back to my brothers now." I told him.
"I'm sorry, Annabeth. I'll make it up to you, I promise." he said.
I wanted to say, yeah right, like that would happen. Instead, I just nodded and gave him a smile. He took it just fine. Unlike him, I'm much better at acting. He gave me a kiss on the top of my head. I should be happy about it but I guess I was not in the mood.
After he left, I went to my car and just sat inside for like 20 minutes. Just two hours ago, I was really happy, now, it's like a giant introduced me to his butt. That awful.
"Stupid Luke." I muttered, "This was supposed to be a happy day for me."
Then I remembered I didn't really know the reason why he has to leave and where he'll go because I cut him off. I was annoyed, okay? On my way to Goode high, I got a text message from Matthew.
Hey sis, read your message. Could you buy us some snack?
Sure, for how many? I'm already on my way back there so, is McDonald's drive thru alright?
Yup, that's fine. Umm, for Bobby, Jason, Percy, and for me of course. Thanks! See ya.
After I bought our snacks and arrived at school, I realized that I bought burgers, fries, and sodas for five people. I couldn't carry all of it, so I decided to look for my brothers and friends first and come back for it with someone's help.
I found my brothers and Percy laughing at Jason's animated story.
"Hey, guys. Could someone help me with the food? I can't carry food for five, you know?" I asked them while I'm approaching.
"Story pooper!" my twin brothers yelled at me.
"Fine, no snacks for you then." I answered.
"Awww, but we were just about to know what happened to the guy who was seen by his friends trying out girl clothes at the mall." Bobby complained.
I looked at Jason and he just shrugged.
"I'll come with you, unfortunately Jason found someone who enjoyed his funny stories." Percy offered, quoting the words funny stories.
"But it's funny!" Matthew protested.
"Thanks, Matthew. Finally, someone recognizes my humor." Jason grinned.
"Okay, I'll take Percy then." I looked at him, "Thanks."
"No prob." he smiled and I couldn't stop smiling too. I turned towards Jason and warned him.
"Don't teach my brothers funny business or I'll smack you on the head! Someone told me I could be deadly for a girl so you better watch it." Remembering Percy's comment when I elbowed him just this morning.
When I faced Percy again, he was grinning at me. We started walking back to the parking lot side by side and I noticed that he was still smiling. That made me smile too.
Team Percabeth! So Luke had been busy all the time and Annabeth's not happy about it. What's he up to always by the way? What do you think? Let me knoooow! Review. :)
