SAFT 12
I was almost done with fixing the lights. Liz had left with Clint when I told her I would be awhile. I heard Highway to Hell sing in my pocket. I pulled out my phone and had a text from Stark saying that one of the lights broke and he needed help figuring the wiring out. I sent him one back saying I'd pop over when I was done with work. I was almost done and ran out down to the doors. I walked out and was greeted by Stark's black Lamborghini.
"Hi, I'm Mr. Stark's driver, are you Sam Mason?" I nodded and chuckled.
"Hey, listen, don't take me to Stark tower. Mind driving me to Columbus Square?" I asked. The driver nodded and I jumped in. The driver drove to the center of Columbus Square. I smiled and popped out.
"Thanks, your welcome to tell him where I am. Not like JARVIS hasn't already." I told him. The driver chuckled and I walked in. I popped into the Moleskin kiosk and bought a notebook. I then jogged up to the cafe. I watched the crowd and wrote my findings. When someone sat across from me. I glanced at him and there sat Stark.
"Hello Sam." He smirked. I rolled my eyes.
"Hey Stark. Good to know you found me." I smirked back. Stark chuckled.
"Why do you call me Stark? Why not just Tony like a normal person?" I laughed. I was expecting this question to pop up.
"Because you don't look like a Tony, you look like a Stark." I told him with a smile. He chuckled.
"I don't do I? My dad would beg to differ." He replied. I laughed and shrugged.
"You look like an Anthony sure, but not a Tony." I argued. Stark laughed.
"I suppose. What, should I start calling you Mason?"
"No, because I don't look like a Mason, I look like a Sam." I logiced. Stark laughed.
"Okay, point you don't look like a Mason, you do look like a Sam." I smiled.
"Why thank you. Now, do you actually need me to fix the lights or did you need an excuse to see me?" I asked. Stark laughed and nodded.
"I just kinda needed an excuse." I smiled
"Well, you've had your moment, I got to ride in a Lamborghini, and I got to get Liz on a date with Clint. All's good in the world." I grinned. Stark rolled his eyes.
"Is this your way of saying good bye?" I nodded.
"Yeah, I needed a way to get out of this, because I still need some time to think on that whole date proposal idea." Stark nodded in understanding.
"Alright, I hope to see you again Sam." I nodded.
"Hopefully you will." I replied, walking home.
*~*LINEBREAK*~*
I walked into an empty apartment and scoured for a sign that Liz was home. I then noticed the note on the counter
Sam,
Off with Clint. Be back later XD
-Liz :)
I breathed a sigh of relief and proceeded to flop on the couch and stare at the ceiling for the next hour. Like I mentioned before, a skill I had mastered.
