Sorry this has taken me so long guys, I'm hoping that I'll be able to get some chapters out a little quicker in the future (fingers crossed). This is the last vacation chapter, so after this everything will be back in Arendelle. Enjoy, and let me know what you think! Love, Aria!

The sounds of laughter and a playful scream mixed in with the churning of the cold water from the North Sea startled the gulls that were flying overhead, scattering them away as Jack Frost, one hand gripped tightly on his staff, which was held near level to the water, and the other wrapped tightly around Elsa's waist.

Their feet slid across the top of the frozen wave, Jack turning his staff and shooting a frozen frost bolt out ahead of them to freeze another as it swelled up ahead of them. Elsa laughed again as he jumped, taking her with him and flying along the frozen water, her icy cape billowed out behind them as they played, flaring out to catch the wind.

She let out a small scream, her free hand that she had been holding out in the open air coming to clutch at the fabric of his cape as another wave swelled up beside them. Jack laughed, pulling them up into the air to avoid getting wet as the wave crested and crashed onto the surf.

The sky was a mottled gray color, warning of an coming storm to the area, and the sea was responding in kind with it's tumultuous waves and harshly scented sea air. Thunder rumbled softly off in the distance, darker clouds on the horizon bringing another notice of the storm.

Jack froze another wave, laughing as they rode the frozen blue-green mass to the white sand shoreline and jumped off, floating them carefully to a safe spot of beach before letting her go. She wore a huge smile on her face, laughing as she took several steps to a grassy area and sat down heavily with a sigh, looking back out over at the choppy surf.

"Oh my stars," she said. "That was so much fun!"

"I told you," he said, flopping down beside her. "When are you going to start believing that I know how to have fun?"

She grinned at him, pushing at his shoulder as he leaned close to her with a wide grin on his face.

"You think too highly of yourself sometimes," she said, still smiling at him. "It's bad for your ego."

He snorted. "I think that ship sailed about forty years ago."

She chuckled and shook her head. "Where are we at anyways?"

He shrugged. "No clue."

"Jack."

"What! You think I just KNOW where we are in the world?"

"Yes."

He snorted again. "Now who is giving my ego too much credit. I'm not North, thank you. I don't know, somewhere in Prussia."

He laid back, looking up at the angry sky and sighed.

"I should take you down further south to do this," he said, raising a hand to gesture out at the water. "It's fun down there. Hot and sticky, but fun. Bigger waves, really pretty water."

"Good food?" she guessed.

"Well," he said, smiling. "That's a given. Lots of fish, and rice. And fruit."

"Doesn't sound too bad," she said, looking out over at the angry water. "Prussia you say? I have family somewhere around here?"

"Yeah?" he said, sitting back up. "Where at?"

"Corona."

"The place with all the weird lanterns?"

She glanced at him, brow furrowed. "Lanterns?"

"Yeah, some big thing they did for the princess. I dunno, I saw it one year when I was passing through."

"Oh, yes, for my cousin. She was kidnapped when she was a baby. She only escaped her captor and returned, oh, six or seven years ago now. I heard that it was quite the adventure from mother, though I never did get all of the details."

"Is that so? How many ways ARE you royalty then? Related to them, royal by blood," he said, smirking at her.

She smiled. "Royal in about every way possible. Just haven't married another royal."

He scoffed. "Marriage is stupid. Know how many pointless, loveless ones I've seen over the years? And affairs? Kids always suffer too," he shook his head.

"Not all," she said. "You should see my sister and her family."

He gave her a skeptical look. "If you say so princess."

She rolled her eyes. "I'm a Queen, thank you."

He grinned, jumping to his feet. "I know," he said, offering a hand down to her. "So, you wanna go to this Corona then? Shouldn't take too long to get there."

"I thought you didn't know where we were?"

"I don't. But it won't take that long to figure out," he said, flipping his staff up into his hands with his foot from where it was laying on the ground. "I'm Jack Frost, I get things done."

She smiled and laughed at him, shaking her head. "Corona would be nice, I haven't seen them since my coronation and we didn't part on the best of terms."

"Oh? Storytime?"

She blushed as he stepped close to her, getting into position for their flight.

"Well, you remember how I said I froze everything?"

He grinned at her. "Ooooh, this is gonna be a good story. Yeah. Did you freeze her or something? Prussian Popsicles?"

"That's not funny," she said, struggling not to laugh. "And she's from Corona."

"Uhhh, Coronian... Custard?"

"Stop," she said, biting her lip. "That's very improper, you're speaking about royalty."

"Okay, yes. Must be serious about royalty. Very serious now."

She rolled her eyes. "But no, I didn't freeze them. But her husband wasn't exactly thrilled with the temperature change."

Jack snorted. "Winter is the best season, he's crazy."

"Debatable."

Jack raised a brow and smiled down at her. "Okay, now you HAVE to tell me. Spill."

She smiled. "Well, I only know what I heard from mother before she left for their... their trip."

"Oooh, rumors and half truths. The best kind. Well, tell me while we fly, then we can formulate ideas and make assumptions before we get there and be amused when they come true."

"Jack!"

He grinned at her, flipping over in the air as they flew on towards a city to try and get their bearings to attempt to make their journey to Corona.

It was late in the morning in Arendelle, the sun had long risen past the windows and now sat high in the sky over the palace and small surrounding town. Nestled inside the palace, still curled up in their bed was Anna and Kristoff.

At present, Anna was laying stretched out on the mattress, running a lazy hand over the top of Kristoff's back as he rested his head against her swollen stomach.

"You think it's a boy or a girl?" he asked, leaning up to replace a large hand where his head had been, smiling when the babe inside her moved.

"Boy," she answered, yawning. "Definitely a boy."

He quirked a brow at her. "What makes you so sure?"

"Because he's already got your stubborn streak."

"You mean YOUR stubborn streak."

Anna laughed, shoving at his shoulder. "I guess we will find out in a month or so. At least I'm not as big as I was before, I felt like a house about this time with the twins."

He grinned at her, not responding. Her mouth dropped open and she flung a spare pillow at him in mock anger.

"You agree with me!"

He laughed, holding up his hands. "You were pretty big with those two."

She gasped, a hand going to her chest. "My dear sir, you wound me."

He laughed again, rolling up from his position in the middle of the bed to pull her close to him, nuzzling her neck.

"Still beautiful though, even with that giant bump."

She laughed. "Less wounded," she said, giggling. "It's your fault anyways."

"I believe you played an active role as well, if my memory serves me correctly."

She laughed again. "Details, details."

He chuckled, hugging her close.

"Speaking of the twins, where are they?" she said, turning her head back to try and look at him.

He shrugged. "Probably trying to get sweets from the kitchen if I had to guess."

She sighed.

"They will ruin their lunch with all that chocolate."

He chuckled. "Wonder who they get that from."

She elbowed him in the ribs, opening her mouth to respond when she heard the door to their chambers burst open and two pairs of feet running into the room.

"Speak of the devil," she murmured as they both sat up on their bed, watching as Erik and Lisbet came barrelling into the room and climbed onto the bed, pulling on the bedclothes to aid in their effort.

Kristoff bent forward and down to haul Erik onto the bed, the little boy giggling as his father held him in the air by the back of his jacket.

"Hi papa," he said, grinning widely at Kristoff.

Lisbet moved forward on her knees on the bed, falling forward on her face twice as her dress got tangled up underneath her. She grinned madly at Anna as she approached, throwing her small arms around Anna's neck and kissing her cheek.

"Hi mama," she said, turning to look at Anna's swollen belly. "Hi baby."

Lisbet carefully put her small hands on Anna's stomach, eyes bright as she waited to see if the baby inside would move. Erik moved over beside her, putting his hands on as well as they both waited for movement.

"What do you want the baby to be?" Anna asked them, watching as their eyes lit up at as the baby shifted inside her.

"A girl!" Lisbet said, smiling up at her.

"A boy," Erik said, more matter of factly.

"Well, one of you will be disappointed," Kristoff said, smirking as he settled back against the headboard, smiling over at the small group. "Only one in there this time."

Lisbet leaned back from Anna, turning and climbing onto Kristoff's chest, smiling down at him. He grinned up at her.

"No surprises," he continued, lightly flicking her on the nose.

She laughed, covering her nose with her hands before she flopped down on him, her arms spread wide in an attempt to give him a hug. He smiled, wrapping an arm around her.

"*I* was first," Erik said, puffing his small chest up proudly as he moved to sit between both of his parents. "She was the surprise."

Anna snorted. "Yeah, I won't ever forget that you were the first," she muttered, shifting her position on the bed.

Kristoff chuckled.

"You're going to remind him of that often, aren't you?"

Anna turned and smiled at him. "Oh yes. Yes I will."

"Remind me of what mama?" Erik asked, turning to look up at her.

Anna smiled down at him. "You'll understand when you are a little bit older sweetie. But I promise you, you'll know what mama had to go through for you."

The little boy frowned, looking back down at her belly and pointing at it. "I saw him move!"

Anna sighed, running a hand through his hair. "He does that a lot little one, he does that a lot."

"Are you tired mama?" he asked, looking up at her again.

"Mmm," Anna said, closing her eyes and nodding.

Erik turned to Kristoff, whispering loudly. "Mama is tired."

Kristoff struggled not to smile, biting his lower lip. "Maybe we should all take a little nap before lunch," he suggested, looking down at the half-asleep form of Lisbet on his chest.

Erik glanced too, thought for a moment and nodded. He whispered loudly again. "Okay."

Kristoff bit his lip again, shifting down on the bed while Erik snuggled into Anna's side and together, the small family settled down for a late morning nap.

"Okay, there aren't THAT many port cities, that are also countries," Jack said, his voice sounding tested. "I don't know how much more coastline there is this way before there IS no more coastline."

"It has to be around here," she said, looking down at the ground. "It's not a very big country, about the size of Arendelle."

"Well obviously it's not that big," he quipped.

"Size doesn't always matter," she said absently, craning her neck to look for a sign of Corona.

Jack laughed aloud, his shoulders shaking as he held her aloft.

"What?" she asked, looking up at him.

"Tell me that again after you get married."

She frowned at him, confused before looking back down at the ground and squinting at a boat on the water far ahead of them.

"There," she said, pointing. "That might be it."

"You can't tell if that is the country just by a boat," he said, dipping down closer to the water and moving them closer. "LOTS of countries have boats."

She looked up at him, scowling. "Can we try it without the sass please?"

He glanced down at her, amused. "I could drop you, then you'd be totally sass free."

"You wouldn't dare," she said, tightening her hold on him.

He looked at her a long moment, smirking at her. "No," he said, agreeing. "But it was fun to watch your face just then."

She glared at him, slowly turning back to look at the approaching city. As they approached the ship, the familiar sun device flared out on flag flying on the ship.

"That's it!" Elsa said excitedly. "That's the flag for Corona!"

"Thank god for small miracles," Jack muttered, turning and speeding them towards the port city that could be seen as they approached an inlet. "Do you need a moment to get all... royaled up?"

"Get what?"

"I don't know, get all fancy and what not?"

She chuckled. "They are my family, that happen to be royalty. We aren't going to some beauty contest. Besides," she said, gesturing down at her blue ice dress. "I don't know a lot of royals that go around wearing clothing made from ice."

"Touche."

They made their way across the water and the harbor, up the cobbled stone embankment of the town that was nestled beneath the vast and imposing figure of the palace that stood at the top of the large hill. She directed him, guessing herself at the layout of the castle, and had him set her down on a wide platform that overlooked the whole city.

She took a moment, looking around the lively city as the people worked and bustled below and the heavy scent of flowers wafted up through the air.

"State your name," a gruff voice sounded behind her. She turned back around, seeing the uniformed, mustached guard standing stiffy before her and smiled.

She pulled herself up, poising herself and squaring her shoulders. "Queen Elsa, of Arendelle. I'm here to see my family."

He faltered, his haughty posture breaking slightly at the mention of her regal title. "I-I wasn't aware that another monarch would be visiting today."

She raised a brow at him, crossing her arms. "I like to be unpredictable sometimes, perhaps you've heard?"

Jack snorted beside her. "Good one," he said, strolling forward and walking around the guard in a lazy circle. Jack was invisible to him.

Elsa held her ground, staring cooly at the guard as he swallowed.

"I-we-I," he stammered, before swallowing again. "Of course, your majesty. Please, follow me. I'll lead you to the receiving room."

"You know," Jack said, falling into step beside her as she followed her escort. "I bet if you froze something, they'd REALLY move quickly. Or I could, and they would just think you did."

"Don't you dare," she murmured softly under her breath.

He laughed, skipping ahead and flew around the large chamber they entered, whistling at the opulence surrounding them.

"Impressive," he said, coming back to land beside her.

The guard stopped, turning to bow at Elsa, and gestured to an arrangement of chairs and couches before he straightened.

"Please, make yourself comfortable," he said, unable to see Jack skipping over to flop down on the largest of the couches with a long, satisfied sigh. "I shall inform the royal family at once of your arrival."

Elsa nodded, turning to make her way to the seating area as the guard hurried out of the room.

"Ass," Jack called after him.

"Jack," Elsa admonished. "He was just doing his job."

"He was still an ass."

She rolled her eyes, settling back in a plush chair and waiting for the message to be delivered.

They didn't have to wait long, several moments later the door at the far end burst open and a young, slender woman with brown hair ran into the chamber. Elsa smiled at her, standing up and holding out her arms.

"Elsa!" the woman called, smiling widely at Elsa.

"Rapunzel," Elsa answered, smiling as they embraced. "It's good to see you."

"I didn't know you were coming! When did you get in?"

"Surprise!" Elsa said, laughing. "And, just a few minutes ago. Came straight here."

The two women babbled on about nonsensical things, laughing and giggling together as a man cautiously entered the room, looking around as he neared them.

"Oh, Eugene!" Rapunzel said, turning and smiling up at him. "Look who arrived today! How exciting!"

"Yeah, hi," he said cautiously, giving her a nervous smile. "How long will you be here?"

Elsa gave him a warm smile in return.

"Well he is downright JOLLY," Jack quipped from behind, moving up and off the couch.

"Just the afternoon," Elsa said. "Just popped in for a quick visit."

The Coronian couple frowned. "But, Elsa, it's a week long trip to get back. Surely you didn't sail all this way just for an afternoon. Your men must need some rest, and my parents will want to see you," Rapunzel said, looking concerned.

"Oh, I didn't sail. I," she paused, biting her lip. "I-um."

Jack leaned on his staff beside her. "Oh, tell them, this should be priceless to watch."

She glanced over at him and scowled. "Hush."

Rapunzel glanced at Eugene, a more concerned look on her face.

"I didn't sail," Elsa tried again. "I flew."

Eugene coughed. "Flew? You can fly as well as freeze everything?"

Rapunzel elbowed him. "Eugene, don't."

"What! I'm curious!"

Elsa smiled nervously. "I can't fly, no. I have a friend with me."

They blinked at her.

"Where?" Eugene asked, glancing around.

Elsa gestured to the space beside her. "Right here. Jack. Jack Frost."

She glanced over at Jack, her nervous smile turning into a scowl at the wide smirk he wore on his face before she looked back at the confused looks on Rapunzel and Eugene's faces.

"Elsa," Rapunzel said softly, cautiously. "There isn't anyone there."

"No," Elsa said quickly, smiling. "No, he's there. He's just invisible. You have to believe that he's real to be able to see him."

Jack chuckled. "Yep, I was right, this is priceless."

"Would you hush?" she asked, looking back at him.

"Are you sure you are okay?" Eugene asked, putting a cautious arm over Rapunzel's shoulders. "Maybe you need to lie down."

Elsa sighed, closing her eyes and rubbing her forehead.

"I'm fine, perfectly fine. I'm telling the truth, believe it or not," she said. "I've been on a vacation, a holiday of sorts, and he's been taking me around to different countries, cities and shopping."

"Uh-huh," Eugene said, still looking at her very skeptically. "Are you sure you don't want to lie down?"

Elsa looked up at him, scowling. "I'm telling you the truth, he's standing right next to me. He's smiling like a cat that's got into the cream."

"Aww," Jack said. "No need for insults now."

"But, how did you get here?" Rapunzel asked again, still obviously skeptical of her story.

Elsa sighed, looking down at the ground. "I told you."

"Okay princess," Jack said, turning his staff over in his hand, causing Elsa to look up. "Time for a little bit of "seeing is believing" for these two."

"What?" she said, giving him a confused look. "What do you mean by that?"

He grinned at her, glancing up at the large open space above them. "Plenty of room to fly in here."

"Jack, no, I don't-"

She was cut off by him stepped forward and sliding an arm around her waist, lifting them both off the ground in a smooth motion and floating up into the air.

"Jack!" she said, grabbing at his cloak again.

She glanced down when she heard gasps from the floor, seeing her cousin and her husband gaping up at them open mouthed and wide eyed as Jack circled the room in the air.

"How are you doing that?" Rapunzel asked her excitedly.

"I'm not," Elsa responded. "I told you, Jack is. The winter spirit? Surely you've heard children stories about him. It's just, he's-" she glanced over at him. "He's real. Very real."

Jack swung around, landing on the golden floor and spinning her around, like he was finishing a dance move. Elsa smiled and laughed at him, shaking her head.

"Always so dramatic," she accused as he set her to rights.

He grinned back at her. "I do my best."

Elsa turned, looking at her gaping cousin who was now openly staring at her.

"What?" she said, crossing her arms as her patience began to wear thing.

"I can see him," Rapunzel whispered, staring wide-eyed at Jack. "He's younger than I thought."

Jack scowled. "I'm 87, thank you," he flexed an arm. "I just don't look a day over 18. Good luck I suppose."

Elsa snorted, laughing and shaking her head. "You flirt," she accused. "She's married."

He smirked at Elsa. "So now what, girl talk? Hair braiding?"

"We could take you around the town!" Rapunzel said, smiling at them. "Show you around Corona, the people here are so wonderful. And mother and father will of course want to see you as well!"

The small brunette bounced forward, grabbing Elsa's hands and together they left the room, Jack trailing behind them followed by a scowling Eugene.

"You're damn right she's married!" he finally said, crossing his arms and glaring around at the room.

The sun was low in the sky as Elsa hugged Rapunzel again, smiling widely at her cousin before stepped close to Jack, arranging herself safely around him and all of the bags that she had accumulated from her day in Corona. Jack had complained loudly, causing Rapunzel to laugh as Elsa marveled at the various craftsmanship throughout the town and graciously accepted the gifts from her aunt and uncle.

"Come back soon!" Rapunzel pleaded, smiling widely as they lifted off into the air.

"I'll try," Elsa promised, waving as Jack turned and lifted higher into the sunset sky.

"Well that was fun," he said.

She chuckled. "You just say that because you spent most of the afternoon giving Eugene cold shocks. That's not very nice you know."

"Funny though."

She didn't respond to that, it had been funny to watch him jump several feet in the air, turning around in a circle and glaring at the air while Jack had laughed uproariously beside him.

"It was fun though, thank you for bringing me."

"Yeah, yeah," he said. "You can thank me by not buying so much stuff anymore. I thought we agreed no more shopping."

"YOU agreed no more shopping. And, it wasn't really shopping when Rapunzel bought everything on her royal tab."

"I'd hate to see her bill at the end of the month," Jack muttered, shifting his grip on a bag and urging the wind to take them just a little faster on their trip north.

They chatted about the trip, possible plans for the last day of her holiday as they made their way back to her ice palace. The sky was completely dark by the time they arrived, Elsa laughing as he let her go on one of the carefully carved ice balcony and released his hold on all of her items. He zoomed into the dark space, snatching up the packet of matches from the table and floating up to the candle laden candelier to carefully light them, the small yellow flames happily lighting up the darkened room.

She shuffled inside, arms laden with bags and kicking another package with a foot as she made her way to the table she'd made before setting everything down. She laughed, looking at the piles of bags and packages, shaking her head.

"My goodness, I did buy a lot of things."

He snorted. "Yeah you did," he said, coming over to her and nudging her shoulder with his own. "But hey, you had fun, that was the point, right?"

She nodded, pausing as a lull fell between them, an awkward silence before she turned and wrapped her arms around him in a hug.

"Thank you, again," she said. "This has been fun. Amazing really."

He grinned, returning the hug. She'd done it a couple times now, he was starting to like it.

"Hey, I promised you fun didn't I? I had to deliver."

She laughed, pulling back and looking back at the disarray of items scattered before them.

"I guess let's try to, you know, condense things down," she said, bending to pick up a mostly empty bag and carefully add in more purchases.

He shrugged, looking at the plethora of items and leaned forward to grab the books that she had brought. He scrambled with his hands, trying to catch the top book as it slid from the small stack and fell to the floor.

"Sorry," he mumbled, bending to scoop it up. A piece of paper fell out of the binding when he picked it up, causing him to wince. He picked it up, glancing at it and was relieved to see the handwritten note instead of printed words on the page.

"Hey, did you write a to do list to yourself or something?" he said, holding it up to show her.

She looked over at him, confused. "No, I haven't even started those books yet," she said, reaching out for the paper and taking it from him.

He shrugged as he took it, shoving the books in a bag as she read the contents. He worked for several minutes, packing items into bags as she read before he glanced up at her and paused. The color had drained from her face and she was frantically re-reading the note, as if she was hoping that the words would rearrange themselves into a different message while she read it.

"What? What's wrong?" he asked, stepping close to her to try and read it.

"Oh no. No. This isn't good," she said, looking up at him and then beginning to move around the room in a panic. "Oh stars, this is bad. Very bad."

"What's bad? What's wrong?" he asked, reaching out for the note as she walked away from him, and missed.

"Anna," she said, looking up at him worriedly. "Anna came up here. I guess Olaf told her about us, about you being up here and she got worried. She came while we were gone one day and now she's scared, she's worried about me. She thinks I got kidnapped or something. I need to go back to the palace, right now. Jack, you have to take me back right now."

Her eyes were wild, frantic and worried as she turned and looked at him, the now crumpled note clutched in one white-knuckled hand.

He came forward again, trying to take Anna's note from her again. This time she relinquished it, continuing her frantic pace around the room as she worried. He read over the written words and sighed, glancing up at Elsa's worried form. The sisters obviously cared deeply for each other. He'd always been alone, in every sense of the word, and part of him wondered what worrying over someone like that was like. She turned around, her blue eyes locking with his and he could see the tears brimming in them before she glanced nervously at the door.

He smiled softly at her. "Let's get the last of everything packed, then we can get down there in no time. Shouldn't take us too much longer, I wouldn't think."

Her eyes widened, her head shaking and her hands coming up to emphasize her disagreement to his statement.

"Jack, no. No. We need to go now, right now. Anna is worried about me," she said, coming towards him.

"Elsa, we're almost done getting all of your things together, then you can take everything back with you, it shouldn't take more than a couple more minutes," he said, smiling and trying to reason with her.

She was frantic now, scared and desperate as she began to panic. She was tired from all of the events from the day, worried about the new development with her sister and wasn't thinking clearly. He watched her for a moment, her hands wringing together and lip worrying as she talked rapidly and nonsensical.

He swallowed, trying to think about what he could do to calm her down, what he could do to get her to relax and recalled what he'd seen so many courtly gentlemen do over the years, in a myriad of situations that he'd seen over the years.

He planted his hands on her shoulders, causing her to pause and look up at him for a moment.

Then, he kissed her.
