"Dude come on! Get up!" Carver yelled as he banged on Naruto's door. "We are going to be late man!" The door slowly opened and a half alseep Naruto walked peeked out to see his team mate. Raiden pushed the door open and saw Naruto was barely put together.

"Well..." Raiden said running the back of his neck. "He is dressed."

"He looks like the walking dead." Carver muttered.

"Better than nothing?" Radien smiled.

"True." Carver said nodding, "Yeah alright come on." He said grabbing Narutos arm. "We gotta go."

"Where are we going?" Naruto yawned as Carver locked Naruto's door for him.

"We dont know yet." Carver sighed and Sasuke came out of his apartment.

"What?" Raiden said, "Why do you look so surprised?"

"You actually got him up before noon." Sasuke laughed.

"Yeah, no thanks to you." Raiden muttered.

"I gave up years ago." Sasuke laughed. Naruto yawned as he was dragged to Tsunade's office. He closed his eyes, trying to shield them from the bright sun.

"I believe you." Carver muttered, "He sleeps like a rock."

"He is a rock." Sasuke muttered, but Naruto didn't respond. Naruto was lost in thought, its been two months since he has seen Sakura who came to the rescue against those creatures who someone was creating and setting them lose and that Sakura took care of it. That was all the letter Sakura had sent them said. They were left in the dark again and Raiden and Carver didn't care for it much, but they couldn't do anything about it, they were retired from the nine. They belonged to the leaf village now and they loved it. They missed their old team mate though, they thought about Sakura every day, they missed her but she was where she needed to be. Losing Kakashi damaged her and she needed time to cope on her own. Carver and Raiden would fight at night when they talked about Sakura. Carver would bring up its been a year and a half, that they should go after her but Raiden said she just needed more time. The two but heads about it and Tsunade would just say that Sakura doesn't belong to this village, there was nothing she could do. It sucked but it was how things were she would tell them. The four men were on their way to receive yet another mission.

"Morning boys." The new team seven turned around to see Ino walking out of their apartment.

"Morning..." Everyone but Sasuke muttered annoyed.

"Morning Sasuke." Ino smiled as she walked past the group of boys on her way to her parents flower shop. Naruto groaned annoyed. After Kakashi died his apartment was put back up for rent. Ino jumped on it faster than anyone could breathe. She moved in the next day. It was hard for team seven to see someone else living in Kakashis home. And one the person had to be freaking Ino. Naruto sighed as he was dragged to Tsunade's office.

The new team seven was standing in Tsunade's office, Naruto looked to the corner to see it standing there. Its eyes were closed, it hadn't moved from the last time he saw it. Naruto walked closer to it as Tsunade explained the mission to the team.

"Careful Naruto." Tsunade called, "Don't activate it."

"I know." Naruto muttered, sighing at Sakuras clone. Instead of coming here she sent one of the clones she designed. It stood in one place waiting to be active. Naruto sighed, Sakura would see through it for a few seconds, tell them a few things that would only give them a hundred new questions that pilled onto the thousands that they already had and be gone again. Naruto has never ever been in the room while it was active. He only ever saw it like this.

"Naruto." Tsunade called, "Get going, the princess is waiting for you at the gates of the village."

The mission wasn't anything spectacular. A high class daughter of a high priced rich guy wanted his daughter escorted back home to the land under the moon.

"Oh we are going to that place?" Naruto muttered not looking forward to how long this trip was going to be. Naruto didn't like boats, he would be sea sick really quick.

"You have been to the crescent moon kingdom?"

"Yes." Naruto said, "You haven't? That is weird you guys have been everywhere."

"Yeah well, the moon kingdom is pretty rich so they can afford their own protection so they don't really need us." Raiden said.

"I am sure Sakura has been there though." Carver said, "Now there is a person who has truly been everywhere." He laughed. "But they didn't need us so Raiden and I never got to travel there."

"Oh." Naruto said looking away. "So anyway um the king or whatever Michiru Tsuki was a guy who loved money, was crazed with it...his wife Amayo hated that about him so they split up. They had a kid named Hikaru and he was a total brat at first but I got him to open up and not suck as much. I guess Michiru remarried and now he as a step daughter and that is who we are escorting back home."

"Whats the girls name?" Sasuke asked.

"Um..." Naruto muttered looking at the sheet of paper. "Cressida Tsuki."

"Great." Raiden muttered. Everyone looked to where he was looking. There stood a girl wearing a tight dress and heels. Her hair was a foot high, her make up was thick and she was on her phone talking about how cheap the leaf village was.

"Great first impression." Carver muttered, making Sasuke chuckle. The four men talked over to the princess.

"Cressida?" Raiden asked. The princess put up her hand to the four men and signaling the new team seven to shut up. The four men did not like that. Carver stepped up and took the girls cell phone. The teenager whipped around clearly pissed off.

"How dare you!" Her voice was high pitched, stinging the ears of Naruto.

"Are you Cressida Tsuki?" Carver asked.

"Yes I am. I am not interested ok? I have a boy friend." She said taking her phone back.

"Wait what?" Carver asked confused, "We are your escort team." Carver said annoyed.

"My what?"

"We are here to take you home." Sasuke said bored. Cressida looked Sasuke up and down.

"Ok." She said putting her phone away. "You can take me home. But you three have to stay six feet behind me at all times. I have a repetition to keep intact."

"What the fuck?" Raiden spat glaring. The girl pointed to about seven bags behind her.

"Get my things and lets go then. You are wasting my time and my step fathers money." The four men looked at each other then to the women who was already walking out of the village. The guys went and picked up the bags,

"What the fuck are in these things?!" Raiden growled, "Rocks?" The four men quickly walked after Cressida.

"How is she going to travel in that?" Raiden asked.

"She's not. She's going to bitch to us the entire way there." Sasuke said.

"Hey uh, Cressida shouldn't you change into something more-"

"Do not give me fashion advice! Just because you all want to look like you all got your clothes out of a donation box at good will doesn't mean I have too." Cressida snapped at Raiden.

The four men were annoyed but kept their mouths locked not saying anything else. They all just wanted to get her home and get this mission over with.

Naruto yawned. It has been a week and the members of team seven were paper thin close to snapping on Cressida. She was needy and demanding, rude and inconsiderate and took team seven for granted. Naruto was about to rip his own hair out due to Cressida hitting on Sasuke none stop, Sasuke was ignoring her of course though, so it was Cressida talking about herself, none stop for hours...the team had to leave the leaf village and travel through the land of waves and they took a boat from there. They were stopping at the Hagi island for supplies and so team seven wouldn't kill Cressida. They were going to try and get a break from her for a while. This was the last place they were stopping, they were going to take a boat the rest of the way to the village hidden under the moon to the crescent moon kingdom. Naruto sighed as he stepped off the small boat. The four men was still carrying all of Cressida personal items along with their own. They were tired and annoyed. They all decided on a hotel for the night. They dropped all the stuff on the floor as they plopped down on the beds tired.

"What do you all think you are doing?" Cressida asked.

"Sitting." Carver growled.

"No. We are going out." Cressida said.

"Out?" Naruto groaned.

"Yeah, I want to go out sight seeing." Cressida said. The four men sighed, to tired to fight her on this. Naruto sat up he couldn't help but think that if Sakura was here she would have up Cressida in her place by now. He sighed and followed everyone of the hotel. Hours passed and the four men were zombies. Narutos head pounded from Cressida talking none stop on her phone. Naruto shot up, he could no longer take the pitch of her voice.

"I need some air." He said after four hours of Cressida talking none stop. The three agreed and told Cressida not to move but she was on her phone and not caring about them. Team seven made their way from the diner to the forest. Naruto could hear a river so he made his way there. Carver, Raiden and Sasuke quickly following suit. Naruto plopped down in front of the river and groaned.

"This is a long mission." He sighed running his hands through his golden hair.

"Yeah." Sasuke agreed rubbing his face. "She doesn't shut up, she's worse than Ino." The four men laid around enjoying the piece for a bit until Naruto snapped his eyes open, feeling that familiar crushing force on his chest. He looked around and across the river there she appeared. She was dressed in that odd black uniform, a mask over her face. Her hair flowed all around her. Her eyes were bright red, they glowed against the darkness of the night. But they weren't filled with pain of a lost loved one, they were wild like an tiger out in the open, they were on fire burning anything in their sight. Rage and a hunger for war swirled around in her eyes. What was going on? Naruto stood as he did he never took his eyes off of her, what has happened to his friend? He didn't recognize her.

"Sakura?" Carver asked standing. Naruto looked at Carver and Raidens face and knew something was wrong.

"Carver. Raiden." Her voice was hard and it was a different and strange pitch than before she vanished. Her voice was powerful and dominant, it was the kind of voice you backed down from and never said no too.

"No..." Raiden whispered. Naruto looked at him then back to her.

"Sakura?" Naruto called. But she ignored him as she walked across the water, her face twisted and pissed off.

"Do you care to explain where the fuck you two have been the last few months?" Sakura asked, everyone on team seven looked at each other confused.

"Sakura-"

"And what the fuck are you two doing with those things on your foreheads?" Sakura cut Naruto off. Sakura glared at the head bands on Raiden and Carver which they were proudly wearing on their foreheads.

"Sakura, what are you talking about?" Raiden asked. "You assigned us here, we...we don't work for the nine anymore..."

"What are you talking about?" Sakura asked. "Stop playing around and lets go. We have a lot of ground to cover."

"Sakura..." Carver said, "The nine..." He said, "We are done with that, we are retired."

"I don't know what you have been smoking out here Carver but its time to cut the bullshit. Get those head bands off and come on." Sakura said, as a portal opened up behind her, "We have shit to do." The four men looked at each other confused. Carver stared at his beloved friend, something was wrong. He knew if she stepped through that portal he would never see her again, something inside his gut was screaming at him to follow her.

"Ill go." Carver whispered.

"What?" Raiden asked, "No way!"

"Something is wrong with her. She didn't react to the sound of the nine, she doesn't remember assigning us to the leaf village. Something is not right with her. She has the black ops uniform on again, if she cant not remember anything I cant have her doing shit that she will regret when she snaps out of it." Carver explained. "I have to go. Stay with team seven, I will call you when I figure this shit out." Raiden nodded and Carver turned and took his head bands off, handing it to Sasuke.

"Take care of her." Naruto said, "I promised Kakashi-"

"I know." Carver nodded. "I got her, she will be fine." Carver then turned and joined Sakura.

"Raiden lets go." Sakura said turning to the group.

"I-I" Raiden stuttered as he ran out of words to say. He felt himself submitting under Sakuras authority.

"He isn't coming." Carver said looking at Sakura. Sakuras red eyes turned to Carver. Carver knew what the uniform she wore meant. He prayed that he was wrong but...he had to make sure. "He belongs to the Leaf Village now." Carver said. Sakura just looked at Raiden.

"Lets go." She said to Carver.

She walked through the portal with Carver. And just like that they were gone. Sasuke, Naruto and Raiden all looked around at each other.

"What the fuck just happened?!" Naruto yelled out as he snapped out of the after shock that Sakura always left behind her.

"Carver left with-"

"I know what happened! I mean why did it happen!?" Naruto cut Raiden off.

"It doesnt look like it but Carver is saving Sakuras life." Raiden said.

"How?" Sasuke asked. "I saw your face. Something is wrong with Sakura, and you just sent Carver with her! She could kill him!"

"He is going to protect her. Something is wrong with her, she can't remember the nine. Which means someone or something whipped her memory. Which also means that she still thinks shes a soldier and you guys never had to deal with her like that...Carver left to make sure doesn't kill anyone innocent because honestly we dont know how she went to long without hurting someone who doesn't deserve it." Raiden said

"Just because she doesnt remember the nine doesnt mean-"

"No." Raiden cut Sasuke off. "She doesnt remember the nine. Which could mean she doesn't remember ever being snapped out of it, she was never broken from being a soldier. She doesnt remember you guys or Kakashi or the leaf village. She is wearing the black ops uniform. You think your ANBU does sketchy shit try to image what the waterfalls black ops team does. They have no rules, no restrictions, as long as they are not caught and it cant be traced to the waterfall village they are free to what ever they want to do, whenever they want to do it. There is no chance that we could trace Sakura again once she left here. If she doesnt want to be found she wont be. And most of the time she doesnt want to be found...Carver went to find out more about what happened to Sakura, until he contacts us we have to finish this mission and then be on stand by." Naruto and Sasuke nodded.

"We better get back. We have been gone to long from the brat." Sasuke muttered. "The last thing we need is something kidnapping her or some shit."

"Besides." Raiden sighed, "We gotta call Tsunade and let her know what is going on now."

"Yeah." Naruto and Sasuke agreed with Raiden.

The remaining three members of team seven got up and walked back into the diner. They saw that Cressida hadnt moved from the place they left her in. She was just on her phone texting away. Sasuke dragged her inside the hotel room so everyone can try to get some sleep. Naruto didn't know how he was going to get any sleep. Carver just walked off with an evil Sakura and who knows what is going to happen to them. Naruto was scared for his remaining friends. Naruto sighed and closed his eyes, his masked face flashed to the surface of Narutos brain.

'Protect her.'

A tear slid down Naruto cheek.

I'm trying...

After the remaining members of Team Seven dropped off Cressida they did not stay and catch up with friends, they bolted. Team seven ran for miles with no breaks. They quickly jumped onto a boat and began to sail back to their village. Naruto had called Tsunade, to warn her about Sakura and explained that Carver had left with her to keep track of her. Tsunade sighed, feeling an old heaviness settle onto her heart. Tsunade just ordered team seven to return home which they were doing. Along the way, on the boat inside the dark the three men would sit around in a circle and brain storm ideas for fixing Sakura, for getting her and Carver back. Sadly the three would always come up empty not knowing what was wrong with Sakura held them back from trying to figure a way out to help her. The main questions that were swimming in Narutos brain were bitter and pale tasting. Did Sakura get attacked and her memory taken?

"If the reapers attacked Sakura and some how had the strength to take her down and whip her memory why let her go?" Sasuke asked.

"Because as painful as it is to admit the Sakura from back then, Sakura the solider...she was unstoppable, she was so much more ruthless. She didn't have a heart she could step over her team mates dead body and never look back. If they whipped her memory and that Sakura surfaced it does not surprise me that Sakura got away from them and returned to the Waterfall village." Raiden said looking at the two. Sasuke nodded agreeing.

"What if it wasn't the reapers?" Naruto asked looking around at the two as well.

"Who else could it be?" Sasuke asked.

"Raiden you and Carver said that other people were after Sakura, that they would love to get their hands on Sakura, what if that happened and those people were trying to get the seals out of Sakura and this happened?" Naruto asked.

"Yeah that's a possibility too." Raiden sighed, leaning against the boats rail and looking out into the black water below. It wasn't long now that they would be home. This was their last boat ride.

"What about Kaguya?" Sasuke asked.

"Kaguya?" Raiden said turning to Sasuke.

"Yeah...from what you and Carver say Kaguya is obsessed with Sakura. If Kaguya did this would it really be a surprise?"

"If she did it wouldn't be but Kaguya cant over power Sakura. She has tried before but always failed."

"Yeah back then but Sakura just lost Kakashi. As fucked up as it is Kaguya could have used that against Sakura." Sasuke said.

"Yeah I guess." Raiden said, "It could be a hundred factors." He said. "There is no telling where to start and there's nothing telling us who to pick a fight with first."

"Then I guess we have to randomly pick a place to start." Naruto said.

"Yeah." Raiden sighed. "Guess so...my head hurts." Raiden groaned.

"Come on." Sasuke said standing "Lets get some sleep. We should be docking in a few hours."

"Ok." Naruto said standing as well. The three went below deck and soon fell asleep after settling down. It took Naruto a while to doze. He thought about Hinata, about Sakura and Carver and then Kakashi. Naruto rolled over in his small bunk bed and sighed. How was he going to help Sakura? Naruto felt a crushing pain in his chest. He was worried he was going to fail and disappoint Kakashi.

Three weeks passed. Carver had finally contacted the three boys who were on edge every second of every day waiting for information. Carver said he couldn't talk long he just gave Naruto directions on where to meet up and then he hung up. The three boys were planning on taking off that night. They were sitting at a picnic table talking about how far it was going to take to get to Carver and how long of a trip it was, they talked until a shadow walked up behind them. They turned and looked at Tsunade who had her hands on her hips.

"We are going." Naruto said. "We are going to try and get Sakura back and if you try to stop us I swear I will quit and leave the village!" Tsunade just laughed.

"All I was going to say was good luck." She said, shocking the three men sitting at the table. Tsunade smiled, "Go get her back." Naruto just slowly nodded, Tsunade then turned and walked away. The three looked at each other feeling a little better about not having to sneak around anymore.

"So since we don't have to sneak around when are we leaving now?" Sasuke asked.

"An hour." Raiden said, "Lets get packed and ready to go, it is a long trip to the waterfall village."

Naruto, Raiden and Sasuke were running through a dark forest path. The trees were thick and over grown from being watered to much. The path was barely a path at all, you could see very little path it was more jumping tree to tree and trying not to get caught on an over grown tree branch.

"Where are we going? I thought we were going to the waterfall village." Naruto asked again for the fifth time hoping to get an answer this time.

"No, uninvited people are not welcome in the waterfall village. We will be attacked on the spot. We have to meet Carver a few miles from the village in a clearing we use to hang out in. We are almost there."Raiden said.

"Really?" Naruto breathed, trying of jumping over branched and dodging their attacks.

"Yeah."

"Where are we anyway?" Sasuke asked looking around. "This place looks like no one has been around here in a while."

"Yeah, no one come over here because of how bad the vegetation has grown out. when the nine was still around we would always play back here. It was a good way to practice."

"Ok, I get that but why are we so far off the path?" Sasuke asked.

"Sakura has been watching Carver like a hawk so for him to get away from her is difficult. These are the back path ways behind the waterfall village, Sakura knows these paths very well so hiding from her is tricky, but it is the best shot we have right now."

"How did he get away?" Sasuke asked.

"Sakura is in a meeting with Kaguya and a few other leaders of other villages. I don't know why or what for but it gives us time to talk. Carver sounded rushed and desperate to tell us something so I wanted to get there as soon as possible."

"Do you think he figured out what happened to Sakura?" Naruto asked.

"I hope so." Raiden sighed. The three ran inside the twisted dark paths that made up the forest around the waterfall village. After a while they came into a clearing, a small clearing with a view of a pond and a waterfall. There stood Carver with his hands crossed over his chest and his face like stone.

"Carver!" Raiden breathed. Seeing his friend alive and well.

"Hey guys." Carver said.

"How are you?" Sasuke asked. But Carver shook his head.

"We don't have much time."

"Do you know what's going on?" Naruto asked.

"Yeah."

"Did Sakura..." Raiden said, "Did Sakura whip her memory?" He asked. Carver shook his head.

"No."

"Why does your face look like that?" Sasuke asked seeing Carver hard face.

"Because we are fucked." Carver said, Carver opened a white screen of chakra next to him. There a memory was shown. There was a large door, the wood was darkened. Small pale hands went to open the door. Loud voices was coming from behind it, and then a small scream.

"Commander?" The small female voice cut seeing, a rush of air was sucked inside their lungs in fear.

Kaguya had Sakura floating a foot in the air. Sakura appeared to be choking and in pain, her eyes were closed tight.

"Let me go!" Sakura glared.

"This is for the best." Kaguya said. "You'll see." Kaguya smiled as a tear fell down her cheek.

The image was shut off. Carver was looking at the ground.

"Kaguya?" Raiden said in disbelief. "What?"

"Yeah, I guess Sakura was heading out to hunt the Reapers again and Kaguya said no. The two fought and something inside Sakura allowed Kaguya to lock her memories away from her. So now Sakura thinks its four years ago, she thinks she is still a solider and she doesn't remember the nine, or you guys, or being with Kakashi or living in the leaf village. The Sakura we knew is gone." Carver said looking at his friends, "And its Kaguya so there's no chance we can break whatever she put on Sakura." Everyone looked at the ground in defeat. Naruto looked around confused.

"So that's it?" Naruto asked.

"Yeah, there isn't much we can really do Naruto , Kaguya she-"

"I don't give a fuck how strong Kaguya is!" Naruto spat. "She forced Sakura to forget who she was! She took the Sakura we love away! I am not going to stand by and allow this to go on!"

"Naruto we cant! Even if we could get inside the waterfall village without being killed; getting to Kaguya is impossible. I wouldn't be surprised if the waterfall village army were watching us right now!" Carver said.

Naruto looked at the ground, an idea popped into his head. "I have to make Sakura remember who she was. Is it possible to make her remember?" Naruto asked.

"Yeah, maybe...I don't know. I don't know what happened to Sakura!" Raiden said, "Kaguya is old she knows all the old voodoo shit that is impossible to track down scrolls telling us how to fix Sakura and there no telling what jutsu she even used."

"When she found us on our last mission she was not wearing her ring. If I can find that ring and show it to her maybe-"

"What ring?" Carver asked, "Sakura doesn't have a ring."

Naruto sighed.

"Before Kakashi died, he proposed to Sakura...she said yes but shortly after that he died." Naruto said, "It wasn't my place to tell anyone and it doesn't surprise me that she didn't tell you guys its painful, but maybe that will trigger her memory of Kakashi and that could-"

"Naruto...the ring thing is sad yeah but...we don't know where it is. We don't have the time to find it. Sakura is...she's gone man." Carver said, "The only person who can break anything Kaguya does is Kaguya or Sakura and we don't have either of those options right now."

"Then we will get Kaguya to break it." Naruto said, "We will-"

"Naruto stop, Kaguya will never let Sakura go, it is pointless to try to have a conversation with her. Trust me."

Naruto then picked up his bag and placed it on his back. Sasuke moved in front of him.

"What are you doing?" Sasuke asked.

"I am going to confront Kaguya. I am getting Sakura back."

"Naruto do not be stupid." Raiden said, "She will kill you, and it will never be traced to her or this village, the black ops team...Sakura...will make sure of that."

"I don't care."

"Naruto." Sasuke said but Naruto cut him off.

"No." He said ripping his arm away from his friend. "I am not losing her too." Naruto sighed and turned to look at his team. "I hear you guys talking about how long it has been, and that Sakura should be ok now because of how long its been but...it doesn't work that way! I am not over what happened! I can barely get out of bed! The memory of seeing Hinata laying dead on the sidewalk still haunts me! I can only image what Sakura is going through!" He said, "I am not asking you three to follow me but I am going. Kakashi trusted me to protect her. I know he would do whatever it took to save her and that is what I am going to do."

"Fine." Raiden sighed picking up his bag.

"Fine!?" Carver said, "This is a suicide! Kaguya will-"

"Then she will, but Sakura has saved my dumb ass from a lot worse and to turn my back on her right now is fucked up." Raiden said, "I owe her my life. I owe Sakura everything. Naruto is right, I will do everything I can do protect her. I feel disgusted with myself for almost leaving Sakura in the hands of that bitch." Raiden said, tears in his eyes. "I will die before I allow that bitch to win."

"We are going to die." Carver said.

"Yup." Sasuke said as the two followed Naruto and Raiden through the trees towards the waterfall village.

Carver said that the two leaf ninja were with him. They got through the village easy, like cutting butter. The three found themselves standing in front of the darkened door before they could register it Naruto took in a deep breathe, he pulled out a picture...it was of team seven from so many years ago. Naruto shoved it in his pocket and let out the deep breathe he forgot he was holding. He then opened the door without knocking. The voices inside stopped immediately, with the door fully open Naruto saw his pink haired friend, glaring at him. It was just her and Kaguya. Maps were spread out on Kaguyas desk.

"Do you know how to fucking knock?" Sakura asked, standing from leaning on the desk.

"Sakura..." Naruto breathed.

"What the fuck are you two doing here?" Sakura asked, seeing Naruto and Sasuke. Naruto searched his friend for any trace of the women he grew to know. But he found none, he couldn't find the joyful spark he knew or the dull thud of morning for the fallen, all he could see was rage, pain and the wildness in her eyes. He didn't know this Sakura, he didn't want too. Something inside of Naruto snapped.

"To talk to that bitch." Naruto said pointing to Kaguya.

"Watch your mouth you-" Sakura said, her eyes blaring as she walked towards Naruto. She wrapped her hand around Narutos throat and slammed him up against the wall. Naruto stared wide eyed into Sakuras eyes. It was a vortex as it sucked him into the cold fear that was laced through the green flakes that swirled inside her eyes. Naruto could see the wildness and the thirst for war. Naruto remembered all the stories Carver and Raiden told him, he never really truly believed them but looking at her like this and seeing the tiger eyes looking back at him he could believe this women would step over her dead team mates body and never look back.

"Sakura. Why don't you go check out the training with the new recruits." Kaguya spoke up, Sakura turned and looked at Kaguya for a long moment. She huffed and vanished in a puff of smoke with out a fight. Naruto slid down onto the floor. Kaguya turned to team seven. She was standing in front of her desk.

"Can I help you with something ninja from the leaf village?" Kaguya asked.

"Yeah you fucking can! You can give Sakura back her memory!" Naruto snapped jumping up.

"I do not know what you are talking about." Kaguya said. "If that is all you all can leave my village."

"I don't think you fucking heard me." Naruto said, taking a few steps towards Kaguya. "I said give Sakura back her memories! Do you think I am scared of your bitch ass!? I sealed you away once and I can fucking do it again!" Naruto yelled. Kaguya and Naruto stared at each other for a moment.

"Sakura is mine now." Kaguya said, "She will never get them back, now leave my village."

"How dare you." Naruto spat through his teeth. "How dare you take her away from this world you crazy bitch!" Naruto yelled. "Sakura has lost everything time and time again and after all the bullshit she has been dragged through she still fights for others! She fights for people who cant defend themselves. She fights for other villages. She has given up a normal life for us so we can live our own lives peacefully. How dare you take her away from this world, you are selfish you crazy bitch! How can you do that to her? She doesn't deserve this. How could you take her memories?! How can you take the structure of what makes her her?! How can you even look yourself in the mirror after knowing what you have done to her? You are forcing Sakura to live in a hellish existence!" Naruto turned and looked at Carver. "How do I show my memories?"

"Naruto you are not trained-"

"Carver!" Naruto spat, fire running in his veins. Carver sighed and placed his hand on Naruto. A sharp pain ran up his spine and into his head. Naruto saw the white screen appear. Then flashes of Narutos memory came onto it, Sakura smiling with her friends, laughing in the café where they all use to hang out. Tears pricked at Narutos eyes. "Its not fair! I will not allow you to take her from me. Sakura and I have lost everything! She has lost her friends...her home no longer feels like a home anymore!-" Kakashi and Sakura together came into view. "She lost the man she was in love with! She was engaged to him! How can you take that from her!?"

"I don't care about that. Sakura is fine without all of that petty emotions, she is prefect the way she is."

"Are you kidding me!? I lost everything, I lost the color in the world! I lost the women I wanted to spend my life with! I will be damned if you try and take Sakura from me too. I will die before I allow you to keep Sakuras memories from her you fucking bitch!" Naruto screamed. "Sakura was happy, she smiled she was warm and she lit up a room when she walked in. The way she was before all this bullshit happened, that is her being perfect! We got to see how amazing she can really be but you are so selfish that you are willing to lock her away in a cage of anger and pain so you can get her all to your self?" Waterfall ninja showed up, grabbing the leaf village ninja, dragging them out of Kaguyas office. "I grew up with Sakura, we have roots that intertwine together and I know her in ways that you can never know just how you know her in ways I will never know. I hate sharing her with the other villages but in doing so I still get a piece of her, she still comes back willingly. She stays in the leaf village by choice, I have her as a friend she is apart of my family. Can you tell yourself that? All you have tied to you is a war medicine!" Naruto yelled as he was dragged away. The pain in his heart was all he could feel as he hit the dirt road that was in front of the waterfall village. Tears poured down his face as he remained on his hands and knees.

"Naruto..." Sasuke breathed.

"I failed Sasuke." Naruto cried. "I failed Kakashi. I failed Sakura" Naruto said as he collapsed on the ground. "I couldn't protect her." Sasuke pulled his friend up and for the first time since the attack on the leaf village, Sasuke saw just how much pain his friend was wreathing in.

"This isn't goodbye Naruto." Sasuke said, "This was just the first attempt. We are not going to stop fighting to get her back until she is home with us. I mean look at how long it took you to get me back, you never gave up and neither will we." Sasuke promised. "Naruto I promise that I will being Sakura back home." Sasuke said as he whipped the tears from his friends face. "Now come on. We are making the leaf village look like wimps laying here and crying. We will go home, we are going to regroup and then we are going to make a better plan to get Sakura back." Sasuke said picking his friend up from the dirt. Carver looked back at the village.

"I know Kakashi asked you watch over her, but you do not have to do it alone Naruto." Raiden said, "We all are going to protect her."

"We will free her." Carver said wrapping his arm around Naruto. "Slowly but surely we will get her back." Naruto laughed a little, whipping his face. The four picked themselves up and started their way back home to the leaf village.

The four men were slowly walked back to their home when they were stopped by a voice. They looked behind them to see a girl looking at them. She had long fiery red hair.

"Annistyn." Naruto said remembering her. The girl walked over towards them

"Why are you leaving?" Annistyn asked.

"What do you mean?" Naruto asked.

"Who are you?" Annistyn asked.

"What?" Sasuke asked.

"I heard you were dragged out of Kaguyas office." She said to Naruto. "Are...Are you going to fix her?" She asked.

"Fix?" Naruto trailed off.

"That isn't Sakura." Annistyn whispered, tears in her eyes. "That is not the women who took me in when my mom died. She is not the person who trained me and took care of me. She doesn't remember me! She doesn't remember who my mom is!" Annistyn cried. "Sakura is the only family I have left and she doesn't know who I am! What has happened to her?" Annistyn demanded.

"It is a long story..." Naruto muttered.

"Why are you guys leaving. That isn't the Sakura I know!"

"Annistyn." Everyone looked up at Dawn, the second in command of the waterfall village. Annistyn looked down at the ground. Dawn walked up to the young girl and patted her head. "She is right." Dawn said, "That is not the Sakura I know. She's different, she is the reaper of reapers." Dawn looked at the four. "Carver...Raiden." Dawn nodded, the two nodded back in respect. "How do we fix her?" Dawn asked. The four men were taken back a little by Dawns comment, but then people started to walk into view, hundreds of soldiers were all around them, a few of them even had to sit in trees because there was no room for them to stand in the area around Naruto, Raiden, Carver and Sasuke.

"That is not my Commander." One said.

"We want our Commander back!" They cheered. Naruto was taken back, seeing how many people loved Sakura for who she was and not the strength she held made him really happy.

"So." Diem said walking into view. "How do we get her back?"

"We don't know yet." Carver said honestly. "But we will figure it out."

"Well hurry up then and figure out what to do because we cant do anything here without her knowing we are up to something." Diem said, "We will be here waiting for you. And don't worry, we will keep our eye on Sakura. She will be fine."

"Thanks." Raiden said. The four then took off running, feeling empowered by the waterfall village having their backs team seven left like they could do anything! Naruto left revived!

"Wait!" A small voice called, Naruto turned to see Annistyn running after them. She was keeping up to them pretty well for her age. He stopped and turned around he jumped down from the trees onto the small dirt path in front of her. She was panting.

"Who...who are you." She breathed. "How can I trust you to really fix Sakura? How do you even know her, I have never seen you around here before." She asked. Naruto smiled and kneed down to her ear.

"I grew up with Sakura." He stood up hearing Annistyn gasp. Shee then looked up at his head band. He origin of Sakura, the reaper of reapers had always been the deepest mystery around the waterfall and other parts. "Shh..." Naruto whispered. She nodded knowing that it was a secret. "I promise you Annistyn." Naruto said, "I will bring Sakura back." She smiled and nodded

"I trust you Naruto!" He smiled and turned, he jumped into the trees to catch up with his team.

Night fell quickly. The air was cold as it ran through the streets of the waterfall village. Kaguya was sitting at her desk the light in her office was dim, her eyes ripped open and she took in a deep breathe. She leaned forward panting, her eyes felt like they were going to bleed, Kaguya's chakra supply was nonexistent. Kaguya placed her hands on her head as she tried to stop the spinning. Soon after that Sakura came into the room, feeling Kaguyas chakra vanish.

"What the fuck happened to you?" She asked but Kaguya bolted forward her chair flying backwards as she ran at Sakura, Kaguya placed her hand on Sakuras forehead. The two women then fell to the ground unconscious.

"Sakura...Sakura." Sakura opened her eyes. She looked around. She was laying on the ground, fog was all around her. Sakura rubbed her head and looked down, noticing her outfit. Sakura was confused as to why she was wearing the black ops uniform.

"Kaguya?" Sakura asked, her head pounding. "What happened?"

"I took your memories." Kaguya said quickly. Sakura stood and looked at her.

"What?"

"Two months ago."

"Why?"

"Because...I didn't want to lose you."

"So taking my memoires away and making me something that I can no longer be anymore is your way of keeping me closer?" Sakura asked, getting pissed off as her blood boiled.

"I am sorry Sakura, it wasn't until your friend Naruto-"

"Naruto?" Sakura cut Kaguya off, "What about Naruto?"

"He came to the village...he opened my eyes Sakura. I am sorry I have been so selfish. I just wanted you in my life so bad that I didn't care if you were a mindless solider. Seeing Narutos memories of you, of you laughing and having fun I want to see you like that. I want that for you, I want this-" The fog cleared away and the two were standing in a church. Sakura looked at all the faces she knew but couldn't place her finger on who they were. The church was beautiful, white flowers and lights were everywhere. She looked around and froze, seeing herself. She was smiling...so much joy and love was on her face. She looked at the wedding dress that was plucked out of a fairy tail and placed on her body. It was beautiful she loved it already. Then she turned to the groom, her heart twisted. He stood there looking at the women dressed in white. There was so much love in his eyes it melted her heart. He wore a black suit, he looked so handsome and sharp.

"I want to see you happy and well. I want to see that light in your eyes for myself and not through a memory from one of your friends. I don't want you to be a solider anymore. I thought I did, I thought that was what I wanted but I don't want you to be always fighting and swimming in anger. I want to see you get married and settle down and have a family. I want to be able to come visit you on Christmas and other holidays. I want all of that fluffy stuff for you."

"Kakashi." Sakura breathed ignoring Kaguyas words, Sakura choked on her own throat there was a sharp pain in her heart as she saw him dressed up and ready for his wedding , "Why?" She breathed out.

"Sakura?"

"What are you showing me?" Sakura yelled. "Why are you doing this?"

"Sakura this is the future."

"No it is not." Sakura yelled pointing to Kakashi, "He is dead!"

"W-What?" Kaguya gasped.

"Kakashi died in the leaf village attack!" Sakura yelled "He-" She looked down at her hand, her ring was not there. "My ring." Sakura whispered, her heart crushed once more not seeing the ring Kakashi gave her as he used his last breathe to ask her to be his wife. She had no idea where it was. Where would she put it? She was not herself, she had no idea. Back then, Sakura didn't care about anything the old her would have thrown it away, melted it, destroyed it. Sakura stomach tuned at the thoughts.

"Ring?" Kaguya asked. She pulled out a box, the same small black box and opened it. Sakura gasped seeing Kakashis ring inside. She took it and slid it back on her finger. "You threw it at me." Kaguya said. "You didn't like the plans I drew out for the waterfall village and you didn't understand why a ring was on your hand, so you threw it at me and then I found that odd little box."

"It is the ring Kakashi proposed to me with." Sakura said.

"Its an engagement ring?" Kaguya asked. Sakura nodded not taking her eyes off the ring. "Strange, most boxes are black and white that one is red so I didn't think it was a-"

"That's because it is stained with Kakashis blood." Sakura said as she looked at Kakashi once more before the fog took over and they were shot back into reality. Sakura opened her eyes and looked around the office. She laid there a moment she looked at her hand, seeing the ring on her hand. Strange how it got there but she didn't care, it was there and she was happy she didn't lose it. She couldn't remember anything from the last two months. Did she make any head way in finding the Reapers? Sakura stood and was leaving the room.

"Sakura?" Kaguya called. She stopped and turned around.

"You are stupid." She said, "Nothing could ever rip you out of my life. Stop being foolish and understand that just because I am not here doesn't mean I have forgot about you. Now I am going to go back to hunting the Reapers down, you know why more than ever as to why I wish to find them. Are you going to let me in piece? Are you going to trust me?" Kaguya nodded seeing the two different types of Sakuras and seeing how they were worlds apart, she hated to admit it but Naruto was right, this Sakura the one that the Leaf village molded was perfect. Sakura walked out of the office to go to her room to see if there were any notes about the reapers.

Sakura sat at her desk. It was covered with papers of all kinds. She shook her head with the missing pieces of her life still not surfacing. The haired pink haired women leaned forward in her chair, she placed her head on her hands as the memories flowed back and beat down on her like a heavy rain, soaking her...drowning her back into the pain that she was withering in. Sakura closed her eyes tight as his memory flashed back into her mind, crawling its way back to her line of thought refusing to be forgotten for just a fresh moment.

The sun was high as it warmed the land with its golden rays. Down below inside the training grounds of the leaf village there stood two people, a silver haired man and a pink haired women. The two were sparing. The pink haired women was injured from a recent battle, the silver haired man was trying to get her back onto her feet so she could be ready to fight another day. The two were going at it for hours the sun had fallen asleep in the sky allowing the stars to come out and play and the time slid past them and dodged their grasps as they tried to grab on to it and nourish their rare time that they had together. The silver haired man was nervous, his heart beating quickly as he pulled out a special kunai, a white note tied to its handle. He threw it at the pink haired fox and she caught it just like he knew she would. She was about to whip it back until she noticed the paper. The man vanished hiding in the lush forest that was surrounding them as fear entered his heart and second thoughts about his actions entered his mind. He was to scared to turn around and drink in her beautiful image for the fear kept it nailed against that old tree.

The women brushed her hair behind her ear as she opened the note.

Against the gain was always my way of life. I lived and breathed it. I felt no warmth, the sun didnt shine down on me inside the shadows where I deweled. For a long time this is how I thought my life should be. But then you came riding in on your white hourse and pulled me into the light showing me how to feel, how to enjoy life again and you showed me how to be the man I want to be. You showed me that each day is a gift and not a given right. Some where along my way I lost that. I forgot that every second counts, I have been taking the free ride for so long I forgot that what's worth the price is always worth the fight. Some where along my fight I stopped taking the path less traveled and I gave up. But now with my eyes wide open I have realized have spent my whole getting it all wrong. I can now look in the mirror and I now am proud of what looks at me back and I owe you for that. Time and luck as never been on my side so I am going to try to make every second count because I realize I will never get a second chance like this...

The pink haired women looked up from the note confused but her heart fluttered breaking the ice that surrounded it. There Kakashi Hatake stood, rose in hand with tee lights all around him. In front of him and infront of Sakura Haruno there where letters dancing in the dark.

'Will you be mine?'

Sakura looked at Kakashi for a long time, waiting for the punch line. He walked over to her and handed her the rose.

"Is this to cheesey?" He asked.

"Little bit." Sakura said taking the rose from Kakashi with a smile.

"Is it working?" Kakashi asked.

Sakura snapped up, hearing a sound. She looked around and saw her phone. She sighed and shook her head trying to clear it she yawned and rubbed her eyes, she was tired. In the missing months Sakura had pin pointed a region where the Reapers could be stationed. If this is true then Sakura was correct, the reapers were moving closer to the leaf village. Why did they attack the leaf village? Was it because of her? Because of Raiden and Carver or were they just trying to take them down to claim another trophy? Sakura sighed and ran her hand through her hair.

Team seven was walking down the side walk. It has been a month since they tried to free Sakura from the chains Kaguya wrapped around her memory and a month since they have failed. Naruto stayed up late at night worrying about her. So did the other three members of team seven but no one told each other. They didn't want to show the others that they were scared to death that they would never be able to free their friend and get the women that they have come to hold so dear to their heart back to her normal self, flaws and all they just wanted her back. Naruto watched the side walk as they walked on, they were talking about how they were going to free Sakura. It was the only subject that the four talked about these days, other topics just bored them, they all were sick with sorry. Their life's have stopped, their worlds have come crashing down and they didn't care they just wanted to get her back. Loud voices drew Naruto from watching the side walk lost in thought.

"What's going on?" Naruto muttered as team seven picked up the pace, they rounded the corner and stopped seeing a crowd surrounding a guy, he wore a ANBU uniform. He had a knife to his neck, tears poured down the boys face. Naruto and the rest of team seven ran to aid the boy.

"What is going on!?" Raiden called out, but everyone ignored him, trying to get the boy to put the knife down.

"Isn't that a kid from the last training group?" Raiden whispered.

"Oh yeah." Carver muttered. Naruto watched the boy then take the blade and run it across his skin, making himself bleed again. His arms were painted in his own blood from the many cuts on his skin. Tears poured down his face and if someone tried to step closer to the boy he would place the knife on his neck, saying he will do it and Naruto could see the small cuts on his neck, drops of blood dropped down his neck.

Carver sighed and turned his body away from the crowd. "Lets go." Carver said.

"Wait what?" Naruto asked. "The kid wants to kill himself and you want to walk away?" Naruto asked.

"Yeah. There is nothing we can do."

"Why?" Sasuke asked.

"Look, there are risks to the training program. You guys have only took a glance at the place, it fucks you up, you can never be the same person again if you walk into it. It doesn't matter how careful we are when we put the people back together sometimes...sometimes there are people who just cant handle being on the outside in reality anymore."

"You broke them." Sasuke said, "When your tore their minds apart, you didn't put them back together right?"

"No, I did...trust me I did. I know how to do my job but sometimes, there are a few people who just cant cope and you get a few suicides, it is just how things are..."

"Carver-"

"No Naruto, It doesn't matter what I or what these people say to that kid, it doesn't matter how many words you throw at him if he doesn't want to live, I can not force that want on him. If I talk him down from this then there is no telling what he will do tonight when he his at home alone on his own. He has to want to live, there is nothing we can do." Carver said sliding his hands in his pockets. "It sucks...it really does but they knew the chances they were taking when they signed up, this being one of them."

"But..." Naruto trailed off seeing the kid looking around so scared, the kid looked so lost.

"I know, I really do Naruto it sucks but..." Carver trailed off shrugging his shoulder, "I know it is hard for you to see but understand I have seen this hundreds of times, I am just numb to it I don't mean to be a dick here I am just telling you the truth from the experiences that I personally have gone through. I have trained a lot of people, a lot of classes and every so often this happens." Naruto looked down, feeling useless again. He just could not save anyone lately. They were about to walk away until a power filled voice called out.

"Put the knife down." Everyone snapped around to see her walk into sight.

"Sakura..." Naruto breathed. She looked like her! She didn't have wild eyes thirsting for a fight anymore! She had her own normal eyes that was looking at the crowd with disappointment.

"W-who?" The boy asked, "I-I know you." He whispered. "Your face..." The boy was confused as he looked around.

"Put the knife down." Sakura called as she walked through the crowd.

"W-Why should I?" The boy yelled. "I cant do this anymore!"

"Calm down." Sakura said.

"No!" The boy snapped.

"I know how you are feeling."

"No you don't! You don't know!"

"Yeah, I do. Take it from someone who has made the place where you are standing." Sakura said, "You feel cold like you are standing out on the ledge and you cant make a move because if you do will fall. You feel that bitterness inside your chest, you can feel it running into your veins, infecting your blood as it travels through your blood. All you want to do is cut it out." Sakura said, the boy looked at her confused, like she was hitting the nail on the head. "Let me tell you something, your not alone. Everyone who has been through the training process has been where you are. I know it feels lonely, it feels like you are all on our own in this world but I have an entire army that knows how you are feeling. You have not been forgotten or abandoned I know it feels, I know what you are going through but you haven't been left behind if you have been then all these people wouldn't be begging you to put the blade down."

"I cant do it anymore! It is to hard, it is like a crazy-"

"I know" Sakura cut him off, "I know its like a crazy upside down rollercoaster that just wont stop and you feel sick to your stomach with no relief from it in sight."

"Y-Yeah..." The boy said, "Kind of..."

"That's life, a crazy rollercoaster, now there is the question of do you really want to step off of it alone alone?" Sakura asked. "Do you really want to end it all? I can promise you that it will get better, you just have to fight it a little longer and I know you are so tired of fighting but if you-"

"Why do you care about me!?" The boy yelled. "You don't know me!"

"I care because I don't want to see another good solider die." Sakura said, she then held out her hand to him, "I have faith in you, that you are going to be an amazing solider so here I am, reaching out to you to let you know that you are not alone in this I know how the bottom feels, it sucks every drop of life out of you and you feel powerless and you cant see how in the hell this the pain could possibly stop. But I know how to escape it. I know there is more than that darkness that you are walking around in. I know how hard and how scary it is but you have to trust me in order for you to get out of it. I am here. I am not going anywhere. Its going to be ok." Sakura said. The boy looked at Sakura for a long second until he dropped the blade and ran and hugged her tears pouring down his face. She hugged him back muttering words into his ear that Naruto or anyone else couldn't hear. The boy soon started to glow due to Sakura wrapping him in her chakra healing him from his wounds. Tsunade then stormed into the crowd looking pissed off. She demanded to know what was going on. She saw Sakura and smiled.

"Sakura!" Sakura looked over at Tsunade and gave a weak smile. The boy then looked around. Tsunade walked closer and looked at him.

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah...I...I think so..." The boy smiled, he looked back at Sakura. A few medic ninja came into view.

"Go with them." Sakura told the boy and he nodded, allowing himself to be taken to the hospital.

"I am so confused." Tsunade said, "What did you do?" She asked Sakura. She shrugged.

"I talked to him. Group the new trainees with three people, two members who are stable from the first group, and then one person who hasn't been through the training yet." She said to Tsunade as she then turned to Carver with disappointment in her eyes.

"Sakura..."

"I trained you better than that." She said.

"I know but-"

"I trained that no matter the situation, no one was a lost cause. Expectedly if they were one of us." She said. "You fight for your own."

"The kid didn't want to live." Carver said defeated.

"He was just scared." Sakura said. "Maybe you are not in the place to train anymore."

"Sakura!"

"No." Sakura said. "You have forgotten how it feels to be in that place, you forgot how it feels to have your mind ripped apart and then taped back together and you forgot how distorted everything is after they leave and return home. Yes, some cases you can not help but you always fight for them no matter what because they can not fight for themselves." Sakura glared. "I'm disappointed in you Carver."

"Sakura..." Naruto breathed feeling overwhelmed, tears in his eyes seeing his friends returned to him like magic. Sakura turned to look at Naruto, she smiled as she sighed and walked over to him pulling him into a hug.

"I'm ok." She whispered. Naruto hugged her tight.

"Y-You were...h-how?" Naruto blubbered trying to figure out how Sakura was herself. Sakura pulled away from him but kept her hands on his shoulders.

"You." She said.

"What?"Naruto asked.

"You never gave up on me, even when things appeared to be so impossible you stormed into Kaguyas office and tried to save me. I thank you for that Naruto."

"Id always come for you." Naruto choked out as a tear fell down his cheek.

"Do you remember anything?" Sasuke asked. Sakura looked over at Sasuke and shook her head,

"No, I cant remember anything from the past few months."

"Kaguya just gave you your memory back?" Raiden asked, "Just like that?"

"Yeah, she said Naruto opened her eyes." Sakura said and smiled at Naruto who laughed and rubbed the back of his head feeling shy from all the eyes on him. Sakura looked around at all the people watching them. Tsunade noticed them as well, snapping out and unlocking the trace that Sakura always casted on the people around her.

"L-Lets head to my office, I have some questions." She said and Sakura nodded. She looked back at Carver who was already walking away as she saw Sasuke was running after him. Sakura then turned to Raiden, he nodded.

"I got him." He whispered low and jogged off trying to catch up to Carver and Sasuke. Sakura turned to Tsunade and sighed,

"Lets go."

The three walked into Tsunade's office. Tsunade got called away and she said she would be right back, leaving the two alone in her office. Naruto yawned as he sat down in a chair off to the side. He was tired and he felt so emotional. Naruto rubbed his face. Sakura looked around as her arms were crossed over chest. She glanced at her clone in the corner. Seals were placed all around it. She raised an eye brow and turned to Naruto.

"Y-You weren't yourself..." Naruto trailed off. "We were just trying to protect the village." Sakura rolled her eyes.

"Don't worry about it." She said. "How have you been Naruto?" Sakura asked as she looked around the office that she use to spend all her time in, its been forever since she has been in here. Sakuras eyes trailed over the desk as Naruto talked about how boring his life has been with doing but nothing training and that was pretty much it...Sakura was nodding her head telling Naruto that she was listening. Sakura stopped and reached onto the desk moving folders out of the way to get a better look at a piece of paper that caught her eye.

"Sorry about that-" Tsunade siad walking in but cut herself off seeing Sakura holding up a stake of papers, she knew what it was by the pissed off look on Sakuras face.

"What is this?" Sakura asked waiting for an explanation.

"What are you doing going through my personal files?" Tsunade tried to turn the tables.

"What are you doing trying to find a way to seal Kaguya away?" Sakura asked, Naruto snapped up.

"What!?" Naruto gushed looking at Tsunade.

"It is none of your concern." Tsundae said talking the papers from Sakura.

"You sure about that?" Sakura asked, "Because it sure feels like I should have some concern here."

"Sakura its fine-"

"You are trying to seal away the leader of the waterfall village, which I am the leader of its army." Sakura said as her eyes were hard and reading every movement Tsuande made. "Are we going to have another war on our hands?" Sakura asked.

"Sakura-"

"Because that is what will happen if this gets out." Sakura cut Tsuande off.

"It wont, its between me the councial and a few ANBU."

"People talk Tsunade, it doesnt matter how much they promise they wont. Shit finds a way to hit the fan. You should know that."

"Sakura..." Tsuande sighed and sat down at her desk tired. "The council has been worried, once they heard about you...how you went back to being a war machine..." Tsunade trailed off trying to find the right words. "They just wanted us to be prepared."

"For what?" Sakura asked already knowing the answer.

"In case Kaguya sent you here...while you were under her control. Or if Kaguya comes here looking for a fight...we just wanted to be prepared for anything."

"I cant believe you have been doing this!" Naruto jumped in. "Tsunade-"

"Naruto, you don't understand. You wont until you have people looking at you to protect them. Sakura you have to understand of you were in my shoes you-"

"I would have trusted you."

"Have you never really worried about Kaguya going power hungry again? Wanting all the chakra back?"

"Of course I have." Sakura said, "Do you really think I would have freed her if that meant harming innocent people? You know me Tsunade! You know I never would have been so reckless."

"Wait..." Naruto said, "There is a way to seal Kaguya away?" Sakura sighed and nodded.

"But Sasuke and I don't have-"

"It isn't you guys." Sakura said,

"Then how?" Tsunade said "Just so I can protect my village." Tsunade pleaded. Naruto looked around quickly as a familiar dark dome wrapped around them.

"No one knows about this." Sakura said, "Not even Carver and Raiden."

"Ok?" Naruto and Tsunade looked at each other. Sakura looked down at the floor for a moment, making sure she was ok to tell another soul. She nodded to herself and looked at them.

"There is a way to seal Kaguya away. I would never have allowed her to be free knowing there could be a chance she would hurt people again...the seal you guys put her in Naruto...it and I made a deal."

"I'm sorry-" Tsunade cut in, "You made a deal with a seal?"

"Yes." Sakura said.

"The seal was alive?" Naruto asked.

"Yes."

"Ok." The two said. "Got it." Naruto and Tsunade said leaning back in their chairs knowing not to be shocked by anything Sakura said.

"Back then when Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki who used his creation of all things technique to divide the Ten-Tails' chakra into nine separate bodies..."Sakura said,

"Yeah we all know the story."

"Well its a lie." Sakura said.

"W-What!?" Tsunade and Naruto yelled. Sakura shook her head.

"There were not ten tails there was eleven." She said running a hand through her silky pink hair.

"Eleven?" Naruto breathed, "Where is the eleventh?"

"I don't know what Carver or Raiden has told you about my seal." Sakura as she pulled up a chair and sat down in it. "Long time ago when chakra was new and people were experimenting with it still a lot of dark things were created. A lot of destruction and pain, and many people died due to the seals that were being created, things that we has humans are still not ready to have in our hands so the tails found out that someone figured out that all chakra was linked, every jutsu could be traced and that was the most dangerous tool of all...I myself don't know the entire story but from what I know is the thousands of people would go to war and the group who had my seal would block the entire armies chakra and then they would slaughter them. When the tails found this out they took their tool and made it the base of my seal. They then took all of the fucked up shit and tossed it in the pot creating the seal I have today. But the tails didn't realize how powerful the seal was and they realized they couldn't lock it away, they needed something...someone to hold it together. When Hagoromo was diving the tails together, he divided the nine tails of he realized that the nine tails was to strong, so he divided the nine tails once more, creating the eleventh...her name was Alethea." Sakura said and at the sound of that name Kurama snapped up, and screamed into Narutos head. Naruto groaned out and grabbed his head.

"Shut up Kurama." He muttered Kurama was l screaming questions at Naruto to ask Sakura.

"What are his questions?" Sakura asked.

"Alethea..." Naruto trailed off trying to pick one question out of the hundred Kurama was spitting out. "Is she ok?" Naruto asked giving up on waiting for Kurama to speak a rational question.

"She is." Sakura said, "Yes, I can summon her." Sakura said. Kurama then exploded demanded to be released so he could see his long lost sister.

"Who is she to you Kurama?" Naruto muttered annoyed.

"Alethea is Kurama's sister."

"What?!" Tsunade and Naruto yelled together again.

"Are you kidding me?!" Naruto yelled. "He never told me he had a sister!"

"Yes. When Hagoromo divided the nine tails in half he gave Kurama a sister. When Alethea stepped up to volunteer to bond to the seal so it could be sealed away from the world it destroyed Kurama. I am going to guess he is screaming at you because the last time he ever saw his sister he screamed at her and said he would never forgive her. That was a long time ago." Naruto looked at Sakura stunned. "Anyway." Sakura said, "Back to the seal-"

"Wait!" Naruto said, "Your a jinchuriki?!"

"Yes." Sakura said. "The seal is-"

"Wait!" Naruto yelled, "This is a lot to take in and Kurama he-"

"It is not a lot to take in." Sakura said bored. "After I finish my story we will do what Kurama wants. But people are going to catch on that we are sealed in a dome and there will be questions that I don't want to answer."

"Right." Naruto said leaning back in his seat.

"Understand that only you two are the people who know this." Sakura said, "You cant tell anyone, not even Sasuke." Sakura looked at Naruto, Naruto nodded understanding.

"I am the seal." Sakura said.

"I'm...I'm confused." Tsunade said.

"The seal that trapped Kaguya, I made a deal with it. To free Kaguya and talk to her...I will then become the seal that can cage her.."

"But..." Tsunade said, "What if you die? What is Kaguya does go off the deep end again, how do you seal her?"

"If Kaguya goes power hungry again then I will seal her away, and yes it will kill me. If I die in battle then my soul is locked to Kaguya until she needs to be sealed away. But as all things in this world there is a flaw...if Kaguya is the one to kill me and I died by her hand then the seal is broken and there's no chance to lock her away." Sakura finished, "So the importance that this does not get out and into the grape vine is very important."

"I am confused." Tsunade said,

"About?"

"How did you get your seal in the first place?" Tsunade asked. "The diamond on your forehead doesn't even appear anymore."

"It does not." Sakura said, "The symbol on my forehead was like training wheels. Now that I have a fuller control of my seal it no longer shows, I unlocked the ability of my eyes so the symbol no longer shows. And honestly I don't know how I got the seal. I personally think I did receive the strength of a hundred seals at first but then when I went to free Kaguya I think that is where my seal was morphed. I believe that the seal of a thousand seals was a link in the seal Naruto and Sasuke locked Kaguya away with. I am not sure, but it is the only reasonable thing that I have come up with through the years and Alethea doesn't know how I got it either."

"I need a drink." Tsunade muttered.

"Can you end your hunt for a seal for Kaguya?" Sakura asked, "I don't need Kaguya catching wind and then her trying to find it before anyone else."

"Yeah of course." Tsunade said. Sakura broke the dome that was wrapped around them.

"Do you need anything else?" Sakura asked Tsunade. All Tsunade could do was shake her head no. Sakura then turned to Naruto.

"Lets go." She said holding her hand out. Naruto took it and a white flash forced him to close his eyes. Naruto then peeked an eye open, looking around at the thick fog that wrapped around them. Naruto was about to open his mouth when it was to busy dropping open. Behind Sakura stood a tailed beast, she held white fur it was so white like snow it sparked in the dim lit sun. Her eyes had blue wrapped around them as the blue ran up into her ears. The female fox opened her eyes to reveal breathing sea blue eyes looking at Naruto. Naruto looked behind to see Kurama with his mouth hanging open.

"Kurama, close your mouth before a bug flies in." Alethea gigged.

"Alethea..." Kurama breathed. "I am so sorry!" Kurama yelled, trying to spit out how terrible he felt all these years.

"Calm down Kurama." Alethea smiled, "I forgive you, I forgave you a long time ago." Alethea looked down at Naruto. "I hope he wasn't to much trouble for you." Naruto laughed awardly

"No...not at all..." Naruto muttered. He walked over to Sakura as the two foxes talked among themselves.

"How are you holding up?" Sakura asked.

"You know every time you come home after vanishing for months on end you always drop some huge conspiracy on me making me question everything I know." Naruto said.

"I tend to do that now a days." Sakura said watching Kurama cry and hug Alethea.

"Ugh he is such a baby." Naruto muttered making Sakura chuckle. "I can not believe he had a sister and never told me."

"It was to painful for him." Sakura said, "Don't hold it against him. It took Alethea a while to open up to me and tell me about Kurama."

"I can not believe you are like me..." Naruto breathed and then laughed, "Its awesome!"

It took a few hours to pry Kurama away from Alethea. Once they did Sakura and Naruto returned home both drained and ready for bed. Naruto crawled into bed after changing into his baggy orange pajama pants and a black shirt. Sakura went home and turned the light on. Carver and Raiden were not here, they were at Sasukes. Sakura looked around seeing nothing had really changed except a small table for two was now sitting inside the apartment. Sakura sighed and pulled out files from her bag. She had a lot of paperwork to catch up on before she could go to bed. Sakura sat down at the table with the pile of paper work. Sakura closed her eyes tightly as another memory pride its way out of the box she locked his memory in.

The window was open, letting winter's air breathe into the bedroom. Sakura looked around the room and smiled, feeling Kakashi's soft bed sheets wrap around her skin and the fan blowing fresh chilled air onto her warm skin, making her crawl deeper into the sheets trying to find its warmth. Sakura looked over as Kakashi walked into the room. Sakura smiled wider, seeing his unmasked face. He was so handsome, so much so that it left her breathless. Kakashi was in his boxers as he smiled at his girlfriend who was all ready for bed. Kakashi turned the TV on and grabbed the remote before crawling into bed with her.

Sakura snapped her eyes open, refusing to be drug into the intoxicating dream that if she didn't turn back now, she would be locked in for hours. Sakura picked up the first sheet of paper from the stack and started reading it.

Hours passed and Naruto twisted and turned in bed. He huffed out and sat up. He slid on house shoes and made his way out of his apartment. Naruto watched Sakuras door for a moment, he didn't want to wake her up but he could see the light was on from the crack under the door. He lightly knocked on it. He stood there for a moment and was about to give up and go back to bed when the door opened. Sakura stood there, her hair in a messy bun and a light blue bath robe wrapped around her.

"S-Sakura!" Naruto blushed deep red. "You look busy, maybe I should come back in the morning."

"Your fine Naruto." Sakura said, not seeing how uncomfortable Naruto was with Sakura wearing nothing but a bath rode in front of him. "Did you want to come in?" She asked.

"U-Um, sure." Naruto said walking into the apartment. He looked around seeing the table filled with stacks of papers. He noticed the thick small bar glass filled with ice a dark liquid. Whiskey maybe? Rum? Why was she drinking this late? "I didn't mean to bother you." Naruto said.

"Your not." She said walking back to the table, "I'm almost done."

"O-Ok..." Naruto looked around not knowing what to do.

"You can sit down Naruto." Sakura called, not looking up from the papers. "Nothing will bite." Naruto made his way across the table from his friend. He looked around feeling awkward he took a peek at the paper work but got a headache and glanced at the glass on the table. Did Sakura have a drinking problem? Did losing Kakashi bring her closer to the bottle?

"What do you want to know Naruto?" Sakura asked.

"W-W-What?" Naruto asked caught off guard once again, like he always was around her.

"Are you here because of the seal?" She asked. "I figured one of you guys would stop by at some point."

"Oh um...no...I understand that." Naruto said, "You did what you had to do, and you did the responsible thing which I am proud of you for." Sakura looked up from the small words written on paper to look at her friend.

"Is it about Alethea?" She asked.

"No..." Naruto said looking down at the table as if the design on the wood was the most dazzling thing he has ever seen.

"Hm." She said as the two fell into a drowning silence. It laced through the space around the two and settled quickly. Naruto was rocking back and forth going mad from how loud the silence was.

"I'm not over him." Her voice broke the silence. Sakura didnt look up from the paper infront of her, "I know I appear to be fine. Like today I saw you watching me and I can tell you that I am not over him. I am not ok I am just going through the emotions and doing what I am suppose to do." She looked up at him. "Is that what you wanted to know?" She asked. "If it is ok that you are still in pain? That its ok for your heart to still be broken? That the words you never got to say to her now haunt your dreams?" Naruto slowly nodded. "Yeah, its normal." Sakura said looking back down. Naruto was speachless, he just looked around not knowing what to say. "The others wont understand, not yet." Sakura said standing up. Sakura slid her robe off and Naruto looked away quickly as he turned deep red. "Naruto what are you doing?" Naruto looked over and saw that Sakura was wearing a baggy grey shirt which fell off her shoulder exposing it, and dark blue pajama shorts.

"W-Why were you wearing a robe!?"

"Because it was cold." She said not understanding what was wrong with Naruto. She walked to kitchen and dragged a glass, filled it with ice and grabbed a bottle.

"Um...what were you saying?" Naruto called.

"About?" Sakura asked. Naruto almsot fell off his chair at Sakuras comment. "Im joking." She said as he sat down and placed the cup infront of naruto. She filled it half way and then filled hers.

"What?"

"Its scotch."

"I-its pretty late..." Naruto muttered, getting the answer he was looking for. "Sakura-"

"Im not an alcoholic." She said. "I only drink a glass every so often. People take one look at me and assume that I am a heavy drinker and that I cant control how much I drink but I don't run on it like others do." She said capping the bottle and placing it in the middle of the table. "It takes the edge off."

"Edge?"

"You saw that boy today." Sakura said as she put the glass to her lips.

"Wait! What?!" Naruto freaked out, "Sakura killing yourself-"

"Shut up you dope." Sakura said,"I dont think about killing myself."

"Oh...good." Naruto said feeling relief enter his body.

"Its just..."Sakura said. "I have been fighting for a long time...I have been in a lot of wars, I have seen so many battle grounds and it is hard to rip yourself out of that."

"What do you mean?" Naruto asked. Sakura shook her head, forgetting that her and Naruto could not bond over war stories, only over lost lovers.

"Nothing."

"No." Naruto said, he touched her hand, "Tell me. I don't understand but try to help me. I want too." Sakura studied him for a moment and sighed, taking another drink.

"Even though I am sitting here with you inside the leaf village and I know I am modernly safe...even knowing all that apart of me will always still be on the battle ground. When I am alone I can still hear the faint sounds of screams, I can hear kids screaming for their parents crying over their dead bodies, I can still hear my team or my soldiers from the waterfall army screaming at me, asking me to save them or asking me what to do...I can still feel the back pack I would have on my back during a mission, God it was so heavy when you had to run and doge Reapers...And when I close my eyes I can see it all like it was still going on. All the death on every corner, all the blood that would paint a village. I never realized just how much blood a person carries in their body until I saw it pour out of my team mates stomach my first year. If I am not careful and I let my mind drift I can some times feel my sword still in my hand I can feel the handle, I can feel it being warm from me wielding it for so long. Even though I am here I feel like I am still fighting...there's no way to turn it off. I trained and I fought so hard and I was trained to put that uniform on and to do my job. But if I knew then what I know now-" Sakura said shaking her head. Naruto picked up the glass sitting in front of him. He started to sip the liquid inside, he made a face of stone as he tasted the drink. He didn't want to insult his friend. "-I would have walked away. I was taught how to put that uniform on, but I cant get it off, you cant teach that. And now I am training people how to do the same thing I did and I just...I don't know..." Sakura said as she finished off her drink. Naruto grabbed the bottle and opened it, he poured her a new one. She looked at him for a moment as he filled his empty glass.

"I am sorry." He said as he placed the cap back on the bottle. "For judging you about drinking...I had no idea, if I were you and I had to walk a mile in your shoes I would be drinking bottles a day." Sakura just laughed, shaking her head.

"I never told anyone that..." She said, "Not even Carver or Raiden."

"You shield them a lot."

"Yeah..."

"Why?"

"They are my team, my friends...they were the only family I had left in this world and I didn't want them to turn out like me, I didn't want that for them...I still don't." Sakura said.

"But you are killing yourselve." Naruto said.

"Yeah..." Sakura sighed.

"Do they know how bad your PTSD is?" Naruto asked, Sakura shook her no. "Sakura, it isn't healthy to bottle everything up like you do."

"I know..." Sakura said.

"Maybe you should talk to a professional."

"No..." Sakura said.

"Why?"

"Because they can never truly understand what I am going through, neither can you but...if they hear it they will consider me crazy and try to lock me away."

"No they wont-" Naruto cut himself off. "Has that happened?"

"Yeah, my second year in the waterfall village."

"Oh..."

"I told Kakashi." Sakura said looking into her glass, "I told him a lot of what happened in my past...because he was in the ANBU and so I thought he would slightly understand and he really did. He understood everything I said, no matter how horrible the story was. And being with him after that stopped the pain that I held in my heart, the nightmares that I would have every time i closed my eyes went away...I could finally sleep. I wasn't on edge like I use to be, you saw that. Being with Kakashi was...it was my peace. He gave me the sound of mind that I needed and now that he's gone...I..." Sakura said as a tear fell down her cheek. Naruto took her hand again.

"Now you got me." He smiled. After a moment his smile melted. "The pain never goes away does it?" He asked.

"No." Sakura said, "It will go numb though." Naruto picked up his cup and took along drink.

"Tell me." He said, "Was it better?" Sakura looked at Naruto for a moment as she watched Naruto pour another glass for himself, than it sunk in what he was saying.

"No." She said, Naruto tilted his head.

"Why not?" He asked, not liking Sakura answer. "You didn't remember his face, you didn't remember how his hand felt in yours, you didn't remember how much you loved him! You didn't-"

"And that is why it wasn't worth it." Sakura said cutting Naruto off. "I don't remember a lot from when my memory was taken but I remember flashes from the last few months. I remember looking up at the clouds and feeling a hole in my chest. I remember laying in my bed and wondering why I felt so cold in a hot room. I couldn't remember Kakashi and even when i couldn't remember how much i loved him...I knew that a piece of me knew something was wrong. I felt empty inside and I could never understand why." Sakura said, "He thought I was strong and so fearless, and it didn't matter how weak I felt he never stopped looking at me like I was the most beautiful person on this earth. Kakashi thought I could do the impossible and he always saw the best in me when if I couldn't...and now that Kakashi is gone...all I want is to be the person Kakashi thought I was. I am scared to death that I will not measure up to his expectations. But I would rather have his memory and live with the pain than live without the pain and never remembering how he made my heart skip every time he looked at me. Kakashi isn't here anymore but he still makes me want to be a better person. If you are thinking of whipping Hinata's memory there is nothing I can do to stop you. But I am telling you that you will regret it because you will feel hollow inside and yes it hurts, I know it hurts. It burns and it aches and looking towards tomorrow I don't know how I can make it to tomorrow but when I look back and remember all the times I had with Kakashi...when I remember how badly I want to make him proud of me...that is how I can make it to tomorrow." Tears poured down Narutos face.

"I just miss her so much!" He cried, pulling his hands to his face.

"I know." Sakura said.

"The others are like oh, its been over a year you should be ok now." Naruto cried "And I'm just like it still feels like she died just yesterday!" Naruto cried. "I don't understand!" Sakura stood up and walked over hugging Naruto.

"There is nothing wrong with you. Carver, Raiden and Sasuke have not lost the person they were in love with. They don't understand how bad it hurts and how time doesn't apply to us. They don't understand how we are stuck in a year ago and that we can not move on. And that is not your problem. All you need to worry about is getting to the next day and then the next day and so on. Do not listen to what those morons tell you, ok?" Sakura asked. Naruto nodded. The classes he drank were now flooding to his head.

"I'm tied." He muttered.

"Come on, lets get you to bed." Sakura said.

"No! I don't wanna leave you alone."

"I'm fine Naruto." Sakura said as she helped him stand.

"No your not."

"Naruto-" Naruto then pushed himself off Sakura and he walked into her room. Sakura followed him. "Your a light weight." She laughed.

"No you are!" Naruto slurred as he grabbed her hand and pulled her down onto the bed with him.

"Naruto!" Sakura groaned, "You are fat."

"I am not!" He said as he twisted himself to get under the covers.

"Yeah you are. If you weren't I wouldn't be saying you were fat."

"Um..." Naruto said getting confused. "Get under the covers!"

"Naruto-"

"Sakura."

"Fine." She sighed as she got into bed. She laid on her side.

"Do you think they are in a better place?" Naruto asked.

"Yeah." Sakura said. Naruto sighed and wrapped an arm around Sakura, he held her close as the two drifted off to sleep.

Naruto woke up. The sun was blurry and bright as it blinded his freshly opened eyes. He groaned as he sat up but his head spun making the room spin with him he flopped back down into the bed. Naruto could hear the shower turning off. He looked beside him wondering where his pink haired friend vanished too. Naruto stared up at the ceiling to scared to move for if he did the vomit running up his throat would make its way out of him and onto Sakuras bedding or flooring. Naruto peeked from under his arm seeing the pink haired women walk in. She wore her uniform. Her hair was up in its normal ponytail.

"Where are you going?" Naruto asked. She didn't answer, instead she handed him a few small white pills and a cup which had steam floating off the top.

"Take these, you will feel better." she said.

"Ok...but why are you dressed like that? Where are you going? Are you leaving?!" Naruto asked.

"No, I am not leaving yet." She said, Naruto noticed her face was hard.

"What's going on?" Naruto asked.

"I don't know yet." She said, Sakura turned to look out the window.

"I have to go." She said.

"O-Ok..." Naruto said but before he could finish what he was saying Sakura was gone. Naruto sighed and slowly got out of bed. He went to his apartment and changed into fresh clothing. He pulled onto his shirt when the banging on his door started. Naruto looked over and walked over to it. His head pounded but whatever Sakura grave him really did make him feel better. He opened it to see Sasuke.

"Sasuke?" He asked.

"Come on." Sasuke said, his voice was sharp and eager.

"What?"

"There's trouble." Naruto nodded and quickly slid on his shoes and then running after Sasuke to catch up. Sasuke and Naruto ran to the gates of the village. Once there he saw the ANBU team standing all around, they were screaming at strange faces. Naruto knew their uniform though, they belonged to the waterfall village. Why were they here? Naruto looked around as Tsunade showed as well with her guard. She looked at Naruto and Sasuke, she nodded telling them that she was happy that they were here. She demanded what the waterfall ninja was doing near the leaf village snooping around with out permission. The waterfall village refused to answer the leaf village questions causing screaming to occur. The waterfall village then placed a hand on their weapons glaring at the leaf village. Naruto noticed this and did the same.

"Stand down." A strong voice spread through the area. Naruto didn't turn around to see who was, he already knew from the crushing power that wrapped around his chest. He was watching as the waterfall ninja quickly jumped up, they spread their feet and they placed their hands behind their back and stood ready. The leaf village looked around confused, everyone watched as Sakura made herself known. She walked past everyone and stood in front of a waterfall ninja.

"Captain." Sakura said. The women in front of her bowed her head, the women had long blonde hair which was tied in a pony tail, she wore a black ops uniform as did all the other ninja behind her.

"Yes Commander?" She asked.

"Do you want to tell me why the fuck you are standing in front of me?" Sakura asked.

"U-Um...Commander we were-"

"And you would like to fill me in on why the hell you are standing in front of me with a war unit?" Sakura asked.

"We have tracked down the Reapers to a locations fifty miles west of here, once we arrived there the Reapers were gone. So on our way back to the village we heard you were here so we thought that you might like an escort back to our village." The women said.

"I need an escort back?" Sakura asked, I couldn't see her face but by the venom in her voice I could tell she was pissed, I felt my skin crawl under her power, I was happy I was on her side.

"N-No of course not Commander!" The captain stuttered. "We just thought..." The women wouldn't look Sakura in the eye. "We were just looking for you."

"So you intrude on an ally village? You enter their village without permission and when they spot you, you question them? You place a hand on your weapons in front of their hokage?" Sakura spat. "You know that if roles were switched and this was the waterfall village we would have killed them no questions asked. You all should be grateful that they didn't slaughter you all." Sakura said, after a moment she sighed. I looked where she was looking. I saw how tired the waterfall village was. They were dirty and one of them could barely keep their eyes open. Sakura turned to Tsunade. "Do you mind if my soldiers rest in your village for a night?"

"Of course not. As long as they don't cause any harm to my village you all are welcome." Tsunade said.

"Thank you." Sakura nodded. She turned to her soldiers. "At ease." She called. The ninja then relaxed and breathed out the air that they were holding in. Like they always did in the presence of their commander. "Before we go." Sakura said turning around to look at the many people behind her, "Apologie to the leaf village for disrespecting their village." The waterfall village sighed but did as told. I watched as the waterfall ninja vanished into thin air. Naruto looked around confused, but now understood what was up with Sakura this morning. She had to sense that the waterfall village was near. Naruto looked around as the leaf village were left standing at the gates of the village confused and looking around wondering what to do next. Naruto yawned, feeling his stomach growl.

"You wanna get something to eat?" Naruto asked Sasuke.

"Sure." Sasuke answered. The two walked away from the group and made their way to Narutos old favorite place to eat.

...Meanwhile...

Sakura had her arms crossed over her chest. She was annoyed, highly annoyed at the captain that was sitting on Sakuras couch for going fifty miles out of their way to bother her. She sighed, she couldn't really be mad could she? They didn't break their mission, the didn't blow their cover. They did their jobs. Sakura herself has gone in and out of other villages without the village ever knowing about it. Its only because of Carver and Raiden training the Leaf village ninja that the members of the leaf village could tell the waterfall ninja were playing around inside their village without permission. Sakura and the captain sitting in front of her have done it themselves together many times before this. Sakura always told them she didn't care what they did or where they went, just don't get caught. And they did, which pissed Sakura off. Sakura sighed as she did she uncrossed her arms. The soldiers were taking turns showering in Sakuras apartment.

"I'm sorry Commander." The captain said.

"Hazel what did you expect?" Sakura asked.

"I don't know..." Hazel sighed, "I didn't think the Leaf would be able to find us."

"But when they did you fought them." Sakura said.

"I know..." Hazel sighed. "It was not smart."

"Why do you have a war unit checked out?" Sakura asked.

"I didn't check anything out!" Hazel defended. "Dawn did!"

"Dawn?"

"Yeah, once we found out where the reapers were camping Dawn thought it would be better if a war unit went out instead of a team."

"There were no eyes on the reapers camp?"

"Correct."

"She went you all out blind."

"Yes Commander."

"Hm." Sakura said looking down as thoughts about the second in commander floated around in her head. What the fuck was she thinking? It could have been a trap, we would of had an entire war unit exterminated instead of a small team. Sakura shook her head. What was Dawn thinking? "Go get some rest." Sakura said,

"Yes Commander." Hazel nodded and walked away. Sakura looked around in deep thought. Night fell quick. The waterfall ninja all showed, ate and now were laying around watching TV. Sakura slipped out and was standing on the roof of the apartment building. Naruto joined her.

"Hey." Naruto said.

"Hey." Sakura said back.

"So...this morning, you knew the waterfall village was here. Why didn't you say anything?" Naruto asked.

"Because I wanted to see if the leaf village could figure it out on their own."

"Really?"

"Yeah. You guys did good." Sakura said.

"What's wrong?" Naruto asked.

"Nothing."

"Nothing?" Naruto asked.

"Its just...a war unit was checked out and sent to attack a camp of reapers when there was no evidence of the reapers being there. That goes against prodigal." Sakura said. "And my second in command was the one to send them out?"

"You think something is up?"

"It is just odd." Sakura said. "At dawn I am going to head over there with this group and check out the sight for myself. I will then send them back to check on the next village over, if the reapers were fifty miles out then they are on the move again."

"Do you want me to tag along?" Naruto asked.

"No, I want you here just in case." Sakura said. "I can handle my army."

"Why did the second in command send them out here?"

"I don't know." Sakura said feeling annoyed.

Just as Sakura promised once the sun woke up and stretched across the night sky she left with the waterfall ninja, she and them traveled to the so called Reapers camp. They got there quickly it was around noon and as Sakura looked around she could tell there were people here. The people in this camp left quickly. There was a lot of trash every where, a sleeping bag was left on the ground and a few dishes. Sakura looked around but she didn't see the reapers symbol anywhere and she knew they always left them in places they go. They loved to mark their territory. Which is what threw Sakura off. Something didn't sit right with Sakura, a cold chill was running up her spine. The reapers were up to something. Sakura split up the waterfall ninja into their teams of four and sent them to the villages that was near them. She said that if they were clear they were to return to the waterfall village and wait for her to contact them. Sakura activated her seals to have her travel back to the leaf village quickly.

Sakura opened her eyes and looked around. Everything was quite. She looked around confused. Sakura walked through the street seeing no one around. Sakura looked around for any signs of life. Sakura walked and walked until she started her way to the arena. Because when something fucking stupid happened, it always happened there.

"Neji?" Sakura asked as she jumped onto the roof of the arena. She was watching him peek over the edge of the building into the pit of the arena. He turned to look at her. His face was twisted and tears were falling down his cheeks. "What's wrong?" Sakura asked as she picked up her speed, trying to get to him faster. Sakura never ever once saw Neji show any emotion, and for him to be in front of her on his knees crying hell must have frozen over. Sakura made it to Neji in time for him to collapse into her arms.

"I-I-Its h-her." He cried out. "I-Its really h-her..." He breathed. Sakura rubbed his back confused.

"What?" She asked confused. "Neji what is going on?" She asked but he wouldn't respond. Sakura pushed Neji lightly to where he plopped onto his butt. She then peeked up seeing the army of leaf ninja and only a few reapers. What the hell? That was it? That was all that was brought? Sakura knew the leaf village could handle that, so why weren't they? Into the light she stepped, glaring with red eyes. "Hinata?" Sakura breathed. Sakura turned to look at Neji. "You know that isn't her right?" Sakura said, "I found her body, she is dead Neji." Sakura said as she pulled her sword out but Neji stopped her.

"I know my cousin. I know her chakra from anywhere and that is her." Sakura shook her head.

"It cant be."

"Didn't you block all reincarnation jutsu?" Neji asked. Sakura shook her head yes. "All the seals to bring the dead back to life?" Neji asked again.

"Yes." Sakura said.

"Then how can my cousin be standing there? I can see her chakra, that is her chakra pattern. You know everyone's chakra pattern is different, just like a finger print. That is hers." Sakura peeked back over to the group. She couldn't hear what the Reaper was saying. She had to get closer. "Aren't you suppose to know where all jutsu comes from?" Neji said.

"Yeah, but new seals and new jutsu can be created."

"So you cant figure out how this was done?"

"I can, I just...its complicated." Sakura said.

"How can you-"

"I have to get closer."

"Why?"

"So I can hear them for one, and if I get close enough I can feel-"

"So you can seal a jutsu away by just feeling?"

"Its more than that...I cant explain it." Sakura said not looking at him. "Come on." She said grabbing Neji and dragging him closer. The two jumped down and into the seating area of the arena. Neji explained that once a reaper was spotted all the villagers were evacuated down into the tunnels. Neji was the one in charge of it so he was not around when all the leaf ninja were put into the arena, he didn't know how they all got here. Sakura and Neji ducked down behind seats and listened, the Reapers were demanding the leaf village bow down. Neji and Sakura watched as TenTen, Lee, Asuma and Hinata all stood there glaring at the leaf village.

"Who is that?" Neji asked.

"Malachite, the leader of the reapers."

"The leader!?"

"Yeah." Sakura said. Sakura knew Malachite would get impatient and he himself would come out of hiding to collect what he wanted, it just took a long time for him to lose it. Sakura was right after all. All Sakura had to do was wait around long enough, which annoyed her with how much traveling she had been doing. This could be her only chance to take him down. A sharp pain entered Sakuras head, Sakura couldn't listen to Malachite any longer her body was on fire, heat poured into her skin and her breathing was thrown off.

Sakura opened her eyes and looked around at the pitch black empty space around her. Sakuras eyes glowed bright with the Christmas lights dancing around inside them. Sakura looked around as blue lights started to appear. Small thin blue threads started to appear all around her. Hundreds of thousands started to light. Sakura watched as a beautiful tree showed itself. The tree was shaped like a mighty oak, its truck mimicked the angel oak tree. Sakura walked to it. She looked down at the black liquid she was walking on. She never knew what it was, water? Who knows but she could see down under millions more of those little threads which all held different colors. Sakura walked up to the tree and around it laid what Sakura thought was grass. It was soft to the touch.

The blades of grass glowed a brighter green when touched. Sakura looked up to see the tree, it glowed in its beautiful blue and purple colors. Sakura looked at all the beautiful thin threads flying out of the base of the trunk. Sakura looked up at the flowers on the tree. Sakura looked over to see a branch glowing yellow, Sakura smiled and walked over and touched it, flashes of Naruto entered her thoughts. Sakura pulled her hand off of it and looked at the glowing yellow threads that ran off into the dark. Sakura turned and her eyes narrowed as she walked around the tree and saw branch glowing red. She knew red meant something new was being created. She touched it and her mind was ripped into the past. Sakura was left standing in a dark basement, Sakura could hear screaming, crying someone pleading for their life. Sakura walked more into the room and saw a group of people standing around a few girls that were tied down in were crying, tears pouring down their face. Blood pooled out of many wounds the girls held on their pale skin. The girls only wore what was once white bra and under ware. The girls were laying on the cold stone blood covered ground as if it was all they knew. Sakura looked over at the five girls who were laying on their backs and looking up at the ceiling. She knew those five girls were dead by the way their eyes glossed over. Sakura looked over at the three remaining girls who were alive, she noticed the sixth dead girl was laying beside a girl who was on her knees with her mouth over her hand and the dead girls blood pooled around her, soaking her in the warm liquid. Sakura stood there and watched as the reapers created a way to bring the dead back to life. Sakura covered her mouth with her hand at the horror of an innocent person loosing their life, and of another loosing their soul to gain power. She then ripped her mind out of the past. She opened her eyes and looked around at the beauty of the God tree. Sakura touched the branch but she couldn't find the thread. She searched and searched through the threads and sighed once she understood that the reapers must of heard the tall tails of the ability to reach into the God tree and cut jutsu out of the existing world. The reapers buried their forbidden jutsu inside other jutsu and probably a few seals...she didn't know what they did but she knew she was not going to find where it was today. Sakura sighed and leaned against the tree as she slid to the base so she could sit down.

"Why me?" Sakura whispered...

"Sakura?" Neji whispered, he touched her shoulder confused. Sakura snap up looking at Neji. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." Sakura said, "But I know how Hinata is standing there now."

"How!?" Neji whispered.

"She was never really dead."

"What? I am really confused here." Neji said.

"They used that poison that they love so fucking much as a base for their jutsu to bring the dead back to life. It is a red liquid, as long as it is on the blade or in their system before you kill the person, that person dies but doesn't die at the same time. They die their heart stops and everything, but after a few days the red liquid will start to heal them but it puts them in a deep sleep afterwards. And then they give them some blue dye and it wakes them up. They then use a jutsu similar to the shadow jutsu that Shikamaru uses to control them. That's why I couldnt heal Kakashi when he was stabbed. They are not dead, that's really Hinata and everyone standing there, they are not fake or reincarnations."

"You got all that from feeling?"

"No." Sakura said, "I felt the chakra used to make the jutsu and it was dark, really dark...I tracked it back to its source and then I can see how they do it."

"That is really...cool...I dont see Kakashi...do you think he.." Neji said trailing off.

"It doesnt always work." Sakura said remembering the piled of dead girls with their death stained eyes. "I dont see him either, I think it didnt work on him." Sakura said with a slight saddness in her heart.

"What do you mean dark chakra?" Neji asked out of the blue.

"Lets just say that the people who are using this chakra, they sold their souls a long time ago." Sakura whispered back.

"That bad?"

"Yeah...chakra is an amazing thing, we can do so many different things with it but when we use it we leave a forever stain on chakra, like our fingerprint."

"That's how you trace it?"

"Yeah."

"You had to watch off that horrible stuff? I mean...this type of jutsu or seal or whatever it is...it couldn't have been created peacefully."

"It wasnt."

"What do we do now?" Neji asked.

"We need to break whatever is controlling them." Sakura said.

"How do we figure that out?"

" Watch the chakra and try to figure out where their chakra is going, follow it. Who ever it is going to is the person controlling them."

"There." Neji whispered after some time pointing to a women. She had choppy black hair, it was teased and wild. She had a dark green half shirt on, a red band wrapped around her stomach and matching shirt to go with it which had a red belt on. She wore a red cape which had the reaper's symbol painted on it. She had black leggings on with stopped before it met her skirt. She had black gloves on which went all the way up her arm. She had bright blue eyes and pale skin. "But...the chakra is acting weird..." Neji muttered confused. Sakura shook her head.

"No, there is a fail safe." She pointed to the leader who was still talking to the leaf villagers about how the Reapers were going to make the Leaf village their new base. "He is the final key. It looks like there is an object or something because the chakra doesn't go into him like the girl."

"Look!" Neji whispered, "Around his neck that red orb. That's where all the chakra is going."

"We need to destroy that thing." Sakura said.

"How do we take them down?"

"You go after the girl once she is down go after Hinata, you are the only one who can keep her at bay."

"What are you going to do?"

"I'm going to kill Malachite." Sakura said.

"How are you going to do that?" Neji asked. "How are you going to throw him off garud long enough for an attack to work? Have you seen how much chakra that guy has?! What are you going to do walk up and say hi?"

"Yes." Sakura said after a moment.

"I was joking!" Neji said.

"While their eyes are on me, you take the girl down. Make sure no one kills Hinata and the others and I will deal with Malachite."

"Sakura, are you sure about this?"

"Do you have a better idea?"

"No."

"Then yes, I am sure about this." Sakura said as she vanished. Neji sighed annoyed that she wouldn't listen to him and he was annoyed at the fact that there really was no other way to win this fight Neji growled to himself and started his way behind the reapers. Sakura appeared in the middle of the leaf villagers beside Naruto.

"S-Sakura." Naruto gasped. She didn't look at him. "What's going on?" Naruto tried asking.

"That is really Hinata." Sakura said low so only Naruto could hear. "That's really them, so don't kill them again ok?" Sakura said.

"W-What?" Naruto gasped looking at his once girlfriend stunned. Sakura walked forward, she made her way to the front of the crowd.

"Malachite." Sakura called out with venom in her voice. The leader of the reapers smiled, seeing the pink haired beauty.

"The Reaper of Reapers." Malachite smiled wickedly. "It just wouldn't be a party without you here." Sakura made her way onto the stage. The lower level reapers backed away in fear, knowing she could kill them all without a second thought. Sakura pulled out her sword and clashed swords with her new attacker in a heartbeat. She should have known Malachite would of had a guard dog in the shadows watching his back and waiting to attack if someone got to close. Sakura jumped back onto the dirt in front of the stage. She looked up glaring at the person she was going to have to kill before she could get to Malachite. Sakura looked up only to wish she didn't. Sakura's breathe was taken away. She took in his image, his wild silver hair floating in the wind but she couldn't ignore how both his red eyes were glaring at her.

"Kakashi..." Sakura breathed.
