AN: I've made a grave mistake, each of their rooms also have verandas and of course windows. I have no idea what was on my mind when I described the rooms on chapter nine, maaan I really suck at it. Chapter 9 has been slightly edited, just the room describing part.

Here's how the veranda looks like if you're too bored to look it up in chap 9: "The bed was sheltered by a portion of wall that had panels of glass slide doors at both the sides of it that stretched on until another portion of wall blocked the veranda behind them. The veranda was rather wide with marble dividers, revealing a clear view of the sky above the mansion and a good view of the forest before it. The glass doors were covered with thick deep crimson sheets of curtain, a perfect shield for the daytime rays of the sun." I have no idea if you understood what I was trying to portray but it's something like that. lolol. Anyways onto the story!

As Miku walked into her bathroom once again, she tied her lustrous teal hair into a ponytail, her knee length hair reaching up to the middle of her thighs. She grabbed the discarded uniform she wore earlier and threw it into a washing machine complete with dryer just across her sink. Like she thought earlier, the bathroom was indeed complete with everything that relates to cleaning and washing. Before stepping outside, she grabbed two pitch black gun holster from her sink where she placed it when she undressed earlier.

Walking over to her mini table, she checked the holsters to see if the pistols and silencers are still intact inside, then pulled both of the weapons out to check the bullets. Miku nodded in verification when she saw that it was loaded and placed it both back inside their holsters then strapped them on each of her thighs, just below the hem of her boxers. It might seem silly but Miku was the type to fight with comfort, if that made any sense.

After she'd placed them properly, she opened her bag and removed all her books and notebooks inside until it was empty, then opened some sort of zipper from the very bottom inside the bag revealing a fairly small black sheathed blade that was wrapped with a thick black cloth, a high tech looking wrist-watch and fingerless gloves. Grabbing them from the secret pocket that somehow fit them all in, the cloth expanded when she unwrapped it from the sheath and increased in size as it engulfed air, forming a black cloak just big enough to cover her whole body. Draping the cloak over her frame, she then hooked the blade on her back, placed the watch around her left wrist with a soft click and slid the gloves on her hands. Clenching and unclenching her fingers afterwards as if to test the feeling of having it on.

Nodding at herself, she pulled the cloak hood over her head, then went on her way to her veranda and slid the doors open, making sure to shut the curtains inside to conceal the room, she silently closed the door and quickly surveyed the area with her knees crouched. When the area was clear she hopped onto the chest-length divider and eased to do a high jump to the roof. Jumping and landing swiftly, she cautiously looked around once again, seeing if there was any threats around the area.

When nothing seems to be out of ordinary, she walked over to the area where Luka's room was located below silently while looking around, then sat just a few feet from the pinkette's veranda, now on her usual self-proclaimed post of her guarding duty. Her spot had a clear view of the forest in front of the mansion's entrance and a part of the forest, the place was also the most darkest spot on the roof allowing her black cloak to perfectly blend in the darkness.

As Miku sat on the same spot, she did one last scrutinizing gaze around her area and let her mind wander for a brief moment. Her mind flew to the recent occurrence just an hour ago, where she felt Luka's comforting embrace around her neck, and before she knew it, she felt that lingering warmth around her back again. Shaking her head to dismiss this thoughts that was plaguing her thoughts especially on her duty, she focused on the terrain around her figure.

Sitting there with her arms crossed stiffly and occasionally looking around the roof as a couple of hours has passed. She saw shadows moving in front Luka's veranda. The light from the pinkette's room has been long gone during Miku's stay on the roof, so it was a little hard to make out the figures. But Miku was used to the darkness so she still took notice immediately.

Focusing on the view in front of her, she crouched a little bit more to the edge of the roof above Luka's veranda warily, finally discerning the figures to be armed with guns. How straight-forward. Miku frowned under her hood at the men in black that was trying so hard to hide themselves behind the trees as they slowly neared the pinkette's veranda below.

Glaring at the unsuspecting men in her view, she swiftly ran on the edge of the roof undetected and jumped down her veranda then down to the grassy ground. She rolled over the ground to cushion her fall and hid in the bushes. Miku peeked at the men in black who were still hiding behind the trees, signaling some clumsy looking hand signals to each other. They were four of them all in all, they looked nervous at what they were about to do, each one of them seeming to be obviously amateurs. Some even looked like they didn't want to be here in the first place.

Taking their reactions into account, Miku mentally reminded herself to keep one of them alive later for questioning. They must be bribed by money to do this, or just forcibly shoved into this task. The girl slightly shook her head in sympathy. But orders are orders, I need to eliminate them.

Miku's expression hardened as she quietly placed her hand on her back to grab the teal handle of her blade. Unsheathing it slowly, she gripped the handle tightly as she brought it down to her side, revealing a pitch black blade. The tealette took a deep breath, before suddenly hauling herself into action and quickly sprinting over to the disturbed men in front of her.

Before any of them could even react to the sudden change of situation, Miku swiftly slashed the nearest man in suit diagonally on the chest then kicking his abdomen afterwards, leaving him to fall on the ground and bleed. Snapping her head to her next target, she used their shocked state at their comrade being slashed before their eyes as an advantage and crouched slightly to gain momentum for a fast jump.

Miku flew right into her next victim, stabbing him right into his heart before pulling her blade back and elbowing his stomach. Seeing the victim fall lifelessly on the ground, the tealette looked at the two remaining men under her hood indifferently. The two cowering men just stared at Miku in fear, they couldn't quite make out the hooded figure's expression under her hood but they didn't really care at the moment, all they cared was to get the hell out of there.

The two abruptly eased themselves to run away with fear etched in their faces, stumbling as they tried to get out of the tealette's sight desperately, but the assailant would not get any of that. Miku threw her blade at one of them and saw it stab his head, the other man tripped on his feet when his attention was averted to the crunch of his comrade's skull just beside him, visibly shocking him at what the hell he just heard. Both of them fell on the ground, one was lifeless, one was staring at his now dead comrade beside him in complete horror.

Miku walked over to the terrified man before her, who was desperately trying to get away from her. When the tealette saw him try to stand up, she quickly drew a gun out of her right holster and pointed it to the man. "Don't even think about it." She stated in a low voice, her tone cold and menacing.

The man shakily raised his arms in surrender, feeling a cold bead of sweat run down from his chin. "P-Please! D-Don't kill me! Please!" He started stuttering, begging the tealette to spare his life, his whole being completely frightened.

The tealette just ignored the cowering man and walked over to the lifeless figure next to him. When the remaining man felt her presence nearing his body tensed and started shaking uncontrollably, closing his eyes as he tried to block out everything that he was encountering out from his field of vision. Miku pulled her blade from the corpse's head, an icky squishy sound emanating from it, making the man beside it stutter incoherent prayers.

He heard a sheathing sound beside him, and a few more crunches on the grassy ground.

"Now," He heard the tealette talk, her voice obviously projecting a "no nonsense" feel. "Who sent you?"

"I-I don't know! W-W-We were just innocent p-people before we got k-kidnapped by s-shady guys and forced into this!" He answered almost immediately, telling her all he knew and sounded very genuine. "I-I don't know anything about this at all! T-They said if we didn't do it they'll kill us and our families!" He started crying, tears of fear and misery streaming down his sweaty cheeks.

Miku gritted her teeth under her hood and glared at the ground before her, her hands unconsciously clenching her gun. God damnnit innocent people are getting dragged into this, just what the hell do they want with the Megurines?! She angrily thought, then let out a big sigh afterwards, hearing the sobs of the man before when her clouded mind began clearing.

Closing her eyes, her face darkened once again when she opened them and placed her guns back to its respective holster. The man heard this and relaxed a bit, though still sobbed quietly in the same spot with his arms raised.

However, the relief was short lived.

"I'm sorry.." Miku took her blade once again out of its case and quickly did a swift horizontal slash on the guy's neck, slitting his throat. Before the blood started to spray out of his neck, Miku stepped away from him to prevent it from getting on her cloak. She just watched him choke and grab his neck in pain, and saw how he looked at her before his pupils rolled over his eyeballs.

Pain, fear, agony..

Miku just looked to the side and closed her eyes.

She never really liked killing people, especially if they're like this. She even avoided missions involving killing people as much as possible before, but she still always ended up killing one at the end of the day. She knew what she was doing was right, for the most part. But she didn't really liked the sound of someone screaming in pain and agony in front of her. Someone begging for them to live.

Shaking her head to get rid of the depressing thoughts in her head, she held out her fingerless glove clad left hand and pressed a button on the wrist watch she was wearing, making green light emit from one of its little bulbs. "Agent Teal?" A familiar voice that came from the device boomed into the silence.

"Just took down four men, my whereabouts just a mile away from the Princess' veranda." She stated indifferently. "I interrogated one of them and gained some information. I will send a report through Red tomorrow."

"Okay, we will immediately take the bodies in an hour." The male voice answered on the other line, then his voice sounded worried afterwards. "Though are you okay?"

Miku smiled a bit. "I'm fine."

"Don't push yourself too hard okay?" He said, sounding like a kind brother. Though Miku never really had a brother, she did treat him as a sibling, so did he.

"Alright, alright." The tealette replied dismissively. "Gotta go now, see yah."

Before he could reply Miku hung up on him and sighed. As she pressed a few buttons on the watch, it now showed the time which read 5:57 AM. Deciding to head back to the mansion to fix herself up for school, the tealette gave the lifeless bodies before her one last look then started leaving the area for her agency to clean up.

AN: Been noticing how the recent chapters gets less dialogue in each update, woaah. Shit's getting real there.
