The light was too bright when he woke. Everything blurred, and sea-green eyes couldn't focus. Percy did the mandatory process of getting up, showering, getting into clothes, and stumbling to breakfast. The son of the sea god faintly remembered that there was something important to do tomorrow. He saw everyone carrying suitcases and eventually Chiron came and asked him if he was staying for the year, Percy nodded and signed. The son of the sea god winced at what happened last time he went home, he couldn't risk his mom getting hurt again. Now that she was pregnant with Paul's child, it was even more of a risk.
"Percy, are you okay?" Chiron implored. The demigod seemed subdued and distant, and the centaur couldn't help but feel if it was about the death of Hades' son. Percy nodded with a fleeting smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. "You can come to me if there's anything wrong, anything at all no matter how trivial." Again, Chiron received a slight nod of the head. Percy seemed distant; the curly haired centaur followed his line of sight. The son of the sea god sat there staring dreamily at the Apollo campers, something in the brunettes eyes unsettled Chiron. His instincts told him something bad was going happen. Again, there seemed to be something centred on the boy who barely survived two wars. Galloping away, Chiron thought of ways to help the sea-green eyed boy.

Apollo knew there was something wrong as soon as the council meeting began. He felt a tug in his heart and an ache in his head. Something was very wrong. As soon as Zeus opened his mouth, pain erupted in his body, filling every fibre of his being. Even though he didn't really need to breathe, the sun god felt as if there wasn't enough oxygen filling his lungs. He only felt pain like this once, and that was when he was very young and naive, when he thought he could take on anything. Through his pained haze, he saw Artemis give him a concerned glance. There was that small tug on his heart again, and he felt that he lost something. The god of prophesies took out a small compact mirror, a habit he started to have whenever he got worried. The mirror -designed by him and Hephaestus- acted as an IM, only it showed him what his kids were doing, where they were, and if they were safe. Clenching a fist he tried to focus on the different dots flickering on the mirrors surface.
The sandy haired god panicked when he saw one dot missing. He brought up all the names of his children, gasping when one showed a faint line over it. Artemis looked over to her brother; she saw the distress on his eyes. Zeus hadn't notice the hysteric sun god a few seats from him, but everyone else had. Apollo's breathing hitched and quickened; the god seemed to slowly be working himself into a panic attack. Artemis stood abruptly from her seat, Zeus almost spluttering from the lack of respect she showed towards him. The goddess of the hunt walked to her twin, before she could ask what was wrong, Apollo spoke.
"He's back, and he's targeting them..." The quiet whisper sliced through the happy atmosphere. The sun god drew his knees to his chest, Artemis bit her lip, and her twin looked so small. She hadn't seen him like this since the incident before Python... It clicked.
"He's back isn't he?" The goddess received a short nod, her face set into a grim line. "Who is he targeting?" Apollo looked up and met her eye, tears welling up inside of his sky blue eyes.
"He's targeting my children I can feel it. One of them is already-" The sun god choked, tears finally breaking free. The council looked stunned at the exchange, every set of eyes turned to the twins. "I didn't think it would happen, I didn't think Python would target them." Zeus' eyes widened comically, he hoped this didn't turn into a full blown war -again.

Percy screamed for help as soon as he saw the body lying face down in the water. Campers nearby ran to help him out, the brunette dived into the water ready to help the person out. It didn't take long to get the said body; Percy gathered the blonde boy into his arm, and swam to the shore in short of five seconds. Some Apollo campers were there with Ambrosia and first-aid supplies. The demigod carefully laid the blonde softly on the sand, he recognised the said blonde as Will Solace. Percy noted how cold he seemed; another camper with the liquid ambrosia dribbled it into Will's parted lips. The sea-green eyed boy ran fingers through his damp hair, his heart beating wildly. The blonde curls looked way to unruly for Will's usual styled hair. A sob escaped from one of the Apollo campers, and Percy instantly realised it wasn't good.
"It's not working, there isn't a pulse..." One Apollo camper stated, a girl named Hannah Klayton, everyone quietened as she spoke. It was true Will Solace was dead. It didn't seem real, not after two wars, it was meant to be peaceful. The green eyed demigod looked to the blonde boy's chest, trying to will it to rise and fall. Percy concentrated on the water inside the lungs, raising his hand and then letting it fall. Many of the campers stared at him like he was crazy, but if this worked he didn't care. It had to work.
Slowly, water dribbled out of Will's mouth. Blue eyes opened suddenly and the blonde spluttered, coughing up water. The campers and Chiron gasped, and sat the sunny teen up and patted the back. When the coughing subsided the demigod asked, "W-what happened?"
Sea-green eyes opened tiredly, it worked I can't believe it worked. Percy felt light-headed, black spots danced in is vision. Nobody noticed. The brunette swayed slightly, the sun felt too bright. His neck flared in pain; a hand cupped it instantly, it felt wet. Percy brought the hand to his face, blood dripped down his fingers, and the red seemed almost florescent on the sun-kissed skin. What's going on?
Brown eyes stared at the saviour of Olympus; the demigod seemed frozen with a panicked expression on his face. The centaur scanned the young hero, there was blood on his fingers and his neck seeped to be bleeding profusely from the collar of his shirt. Chiron stepped forward after giving Will a once over and sent to the infirmary with the others, Percy didn't seem to notice any of his surroundings. The brown eyed centaur listened to the brunette breathe heavily, trying not to give Percy a panic attack, Chiron approached the demigod slowly only to be stopped by a hissing noise. He looked towards the lake where the water rippled before a snake emerged from the depths.
"Don't touch him, he'ssss my persseusss." The breathy hiss filled his ears. Chiron pulled out his bow and notched an arrow into place. "Theresss no point sssshooting me, it won't work." The snake wrapped around Percy, lifting the demigod to its mouth and darting a tongue out to swipe his neck. Chiron hesitated but shot an arrow to the snake. Python hissed in pain before slithering off back into the lake, the green eyed teen safely tucked in its coils.

The dot grew stronger; Apollo thanked himself that his son survived. He tried to distract himself, he couldn't help his son even if it meant Will's death. Although he may have helped a tiny bit, he made sure that there was a small pulse even if no one could feel it; the sun god prided himself on subtly. He watched as Percy got the water out of Will's lungs, just as he flashed in he saw Percy get dragged into the lake by that damned Python. The god nearly screamed out in frustration, he didn't get there in time. Chiron put a hand on his shoulder in a comforting manner; the sun god clenched a fist. "I'm going to find him, and I will kill that snake again." The centaur nodded, when Chiron looked at the face of the god who raised him he knew there was nothing to make Apollo think otherwise.
"I'll issue a quest to rescue Percy, and that will leave you to kill Python." The brown eyes stared out on the lake, a crease in the half humans head, mouth frowning. Apollo turned to him, before he could say anything the centaur interrupted him. "Just bring Percy back, that's all I ask. I want you to be happy; you deserve to be happy Papa." He whispered, barely heard above the wind.
The sun god's clear eyes glistened, a smile on his lips. "I haven't heard you call me that in a while, I didn't think you remembered when you were that young." The god gave a hug to the brown haired male. "I will bring him back, even if it's the last thing I do." Apollo promised.
"I know you will, just promise me you'll stay safe Apollo. Please?" Chiron was answered with a crooked grin and a wink.
"You know I will." The god flashed out of the camp, leaving the centaur alone on the sand. It was a lie, and Chiron knew it, although he couldn't help wanting to believe it. He galloped back to the big house, and the infirmary to check on Will, hoping he didn't have to break the news of the quest until things got serious.
Poor Percy, he can never stay out of trouble. Anyway, I added 'Fatherly Apollo' into it because why not? Also, I should be able to update more regularly, probably, maybe. Sooo yah... In other news I have a couple of ideas, some for PJO, and Blue Exorcist, mmmmmhmmm.
I have a oneshot, maybe a chaptered story of Hades/Percy, it's called: Dark Sea. Here's a small preview:
"Hello Perseus. Do you know where we are?" Will and Annabeth held a breath; they had never seen their camp director talk to a fellow halfblood like that let alone remember a demigod's name. When Percy shook his head, the god continued. "You're at Camp Halfblood. Don't worry you are safe here, do you have any idea who you are?" The wine god talked softly, ignoring the amazed stares of the daughter of Athena and the son of Apollo. The green eyes were filled with confusion, what surprised the god was that the boy was trying to remember. The wine god could see Percy's desperate attempts to form some sort of memory, his purple eyes widened. "Perseus Jackson, you mainly go by Percy." When the raven haired halfblood stared at him questioningly, Dionysus added, "Your name, I mean." The saviour of Olympus made an 'oh' sound.
"I remember having a dream, about... about darkness and there was voice. Then I woke up here, and-" The son of the sea god stared accusingly at Annabeth. "Sh-she ki-kissed me, I have no idea who she is and she kissed me." His voice rose in panic, and he began breathe heavily. "I have no idea who any of you are. Hell I don't even know who I am, why can't I remember?" The god saw the broken the hero was, and he immediately knew what happened.
"It's okay, we'll help you remember." The god promised, although he knew the son of Poseidon would never remember. "But on one condition-" Percy nodded; he would do anything to remember. "You must stay here. You can't go out of this camp, we'll even bring your parents in, but you mustn't leave, without the accompaniment of one of us." Dionysus pointed to himself and Chiron. Percy nodded enthusiastically, but a frown formed on his face.
"Parents? What do you mean parents?" The green eyed teen raised an eyebrow. What would his parents look like? How would they act if they knew he didn't remember them? Despite all the questions running through his mind, the god suggested he should sleep, and see if he could remember anything in the morning. His head hit the pillow and he soon drifted into the familiar darkness.
What d'ya think?
