Yelling, "What the crap?!" was Turbo's first reaction. He knew it had been too easy until then, but he never would have expected a bomb going off right across from where he was sitting. He was perfectly shielded from the explosion by the extra thick glass wall, so at least he, Roxie, and Heather were completely unharmed. But not everyone was so lucky.

The blast had knocked Dr. Eli Vance right into the wall he was standing by. The right side of his head was bleeding profusely from a deep cut from where it hit the wall, and he ended up sprawled on the floor, unconscious. The left side of his body was also covered in burns.

"Get him into the back!" Dr. Vera Marcovic yelled urgently from under the desk she was currently peeking out from as she grabbed a 'machine pistol' which was housed within it.

Heather and Roxie were already on the job, each of them carrying one end of his unconscious body. Turbo jolted up and pulled out his sword before following closely behind them, also making sure they weren't being followed.

"This is nuts," Turbo chuffed. It was exhilarating, even though he knew the threat to any of their persons wasn't real. It was like a test of skill. A challenge. He loved challenges.

Dr. Marcovic could be heard unloading her gun repeatedly as they hurriedly went down the short hallway. It was somewhat littered with medical equipment, though nothing was really blocking their path. Another doctor, Dr. Jennifer Klugman, ran out of the second room on the right and asked what was going on. She had short brown hair and seemed to be either in her early 30's or late 20's.

"We're under attack," Roxie said pointedly.

Dr. Klugman stood there in shock before quickly motioning for them to bring Eli into the room.

Heather and Roxie carefully placed Eli on the medical bed in the small room, and left him in the doctor's care.

With Eli safe for the moment, the three of them, now all brandishing their weapons, hurried back to the front where Dr. Marcovic was still keeping the so-called 'Purists' outside at bay. Two of them laid dead at the entrance, while several more were shouting obscenities from outside.

Some of the Purists wore typical street punk clothes, while others wore cargo pants with knee pads on them. Some had leather jacket vests, which Turbo noticed a lot of people seem to wear jacket vests, while others wore hoodies with the hoods down. One Purist even had a green, spiked mohawk.

"Now we trash 'em," Roxie stated.

"You're just in time. I'm out of ammunition," Dr. Marcovic added, relieved that she could do her job rather than risk her life shooting up terrorists, "I will attend to Dr. Vance."

"Got it," Turbo nodded before grinning at Roxie and Heather.

"You're such a dork," Heather laughed.

Roxie smirked and shook her head.

Turbo shrugged and continued grinning. Hey, she smiled.

Two Purists advanced into the hospital with their guns raised. One had a fully automatic combat rifle while the other had a shotgun.

"You're dead, aug lovers," one of them growled.

"Not likely," Turbo scoffed as he got within range while preparing to swing his sword.

The Purists opened fire on Turbo once he was no longer protected by the thick glass plating.

Turbo was good at dodging, but not quite enough to avoid getting shot almost point blank. He got knocked back, though only slightly. He had a feeling he wouldn't take lethal damage in those couple of seconds between when he was hit and when he could recover from knockback and swing again. It was a gamble that paid off. He swung again, successfully this time, slicing diagonally into both Purists.

They reeled back from the blow, and while it didn't slice completely through them, they did die.

Turbo was a bit shocked at the sight of blood modestly splattering into the air, though it quickly disappeared without a trace. Well that's a bit extreme. He could hear more Purists outside, but they no longer seemed interested in going inside.

"Pha Repth," Heather said behind him. It was a healing spell, and one that really came in handy, as it restored Turbo's health back to full. "Trying to get wiped out already?" she chuckled.

"I figured I'd be okay," Turbo shrugged sheepishly. I gotta learn that one. "I mean, I suppose I could've employed some kinda strategy and not get hit.." I could've glitched behind them, but that'd be cheating. Could've just waited until they came around the corner too.

"It's a lot easier if you use cover," Roxie stated, "These guys aren't too smart, honestly."

"That why they're not coming in here?" Turbo asked.

"Basically. They've got their own designated areas, and don't stray far from them even if they happen to know where you are."

"Well that does sound quite easy.."

"The first quest in a questline usually is," Heather teased.

"So, after you," Roxie smirked as she gestured to the entrance, "Y'know, since you're so eager to lead the charge and all."

Turbo shrugged and made his way out of the hallway entrance, shards of glass crunching under their feet. Before stepping outside, he peeked around and noticed that there were three Purists in the immediate area walking back and forth in a set pattern.

"They've gotta be here somewhere," one of the Purists said to the others.

"Keep looking!" another yelled.

"These guys are idiots," Turbo scoffed.

"So what you wanna do?" Heather asked as she nudged Turbo in the arm, "It's your quest."

"May as well just slaughter them as quickly as possible," Turbo shrugged. When none of the Purists were looking, the three of them ran out of the clinic and behind a dusty red van.

The Purists were alerted by the sounds of them running, but before the nearest one could home in on their location Turbo yelled, "Ogre Sword!" to rush him and practically obliterate him with a powerful attack.

At almost the same time Turbo took down his opponent in a needlessly flashy manner, Heather and Roxie each used a skill from their own skill sets to rush and eliminate the other two.

"You hear that?!" A Purist yelled a few dozen feet away. He was behind two police cars on fire, and looking away from where all of the action took place. He quickly turned around just in time to see Turbo in all his yellow-illuminated glory rush into his face and destroy him in a fraction of a second.

"What the hell is that?!" another nearby Purist asked, having turned around at the same time as his friend. He opened fire, getting in a few hits before Turbo killed him as well.

"There anymore around here?" Turbo asked as Roxie and Heather met up with him.

"Nah, that's all of them," Roxie answered, "C'mon. We just gotta check in on Eli now, and have a talk with another person you didn't meet yet."

"Well, unless you met him somewhere else already, anyways," Heather added, "You probably didn't though, since this is your first visit here."

"Right," Turbo nodded.

They returned to the LIMB clinic and made their way to the room where Eli was originally placed and waited in the hallway. The room had an exceedingly large window. Inside they could see Dr. Marcovic operating a medical console while Dr. Klugman awaited any orders.

Eli was strapped to the bed, still unconscious and now heavily sedated, while a machine arm attached to the bed was removing his old prosthetic leg in preparation for the new one he would soon be getting. Eli's head was bandaged, with a small amount of blood having soaked into the bandage.

"I'm guessing you're the ones," said a tall, buff man with a deep voice that sounded as if he were a heavy smoker. He had a beard that was short and well kept. His arms and legs were fully augmented, pitch black in color. He wore a black trench coat over the rest of his outfit which was also completely black.

I see he's a fan of black. "We took out the guys attacking this place if that's what you mean," Turbo asserted. He'd be lying if he said the guy wasn't intimidating. He even had augmented 'sunglasses' which were just futuristic-looking lenses attached to his eyes, though they were more than just for looks.

"Right.." the man responded stoically as he crossed his arms, "The name's Jensen. I was sent here to handle the situation, but I see that's no longer necessary.. I'd have been here sooner if not for a riot at the police station."

"Right.." Turbo nodded, unintentionally repeating one of Jensen's lines. He extended his hand for a handshake, "The name's Terrance. I suppose you're technically already familiar with my partners."

"I am," Jensen answered and contemplatively looked at Turbo's hand a moment before extending his own.

"So what's with the riot? Anything we can do?"

"It's been handled."

"Oh.. So what caused it?"

"We arrested the leader of the Purity First group. Nothing major."

"Hm," Turbo nodded. Not bad. I bet he'll eventually break out though.

"Don't worry about your friend," Jensen said as he turned to face the window, "We'll see to it he's taken care of and give you an update later on when you can come pick him up."

"Got it," Turbo nodded again, "We appreciate it."

"Alright, let's go back to the quest shop and get another one," Roxie suggested as she tapped on and slightly squeezed Turbo's shoulder.

Turbo nodded and glanced back at Jensen as they left.

Jensen seemed to be intently observing Eli being operated on, though he was actually contacting a coworker of his through a 'subvocal communication augmentation' to request a security detail for Eli and the rest of the clinic.

"You did fairly well, all things considered," Roxie said.

"Eh, I suppose I could've done worse," Turbo shrugged sheepishly.

Heather thrusted her arms onto Turbo's left and Roxie's right shoulders and enthusiastically pulled them closer to her as they walked, "So what kinda quest you wanna do next?"

Roxie chuffed silently.

"How about something with a lot of fighting?" Turbo suggested eagerly as he fought to maintain his balance, "Maybe something with an attack power increasing reward.. I noticed this one's reward is gonna be for defense."

"Sounds good," Roxie nodded.
