Lucy woke up early, first thing the next day.

It was mostly because she was excited about the new idea she had going around about the new film. Makarov had informed her that they would carry on with the idea (since almost about everyone was with it) and they would start looking at the plot and scenario to officially confirm the movie (not to mention the making of the trailer as well). Everyone was excited about the film, especially Lucy, because everyone was sure that it would be another blockbuster hit.

Surely it'd help with the studio, and prevent it from collapsing.

However, there was another reason why she was awake at this hour — because of that little kiss with Natsu that she just had, yesterday, in fact. She even dreamt about it, but she was glad to wake up and find that it actually did happen. It made her feel completely re-energized, and she couldn't seem to stop smiling. The only worry she had was thinking about the things she would say to him today.

Oh, man. What would she say?

The blonde shook her head, and frowned, blushing lightly. Maybe she shouldn't think about it, and let it come naturally. She was well aware of all the fangirls who obsessed over Natsu constantly (trust me), and honestly Lucy didn't want to be attacked just because he kissed her yesterday. And she kissed back. Well, wasn't that something. It certainly was, considering all her kisses in the past were uncomfortable and awkward. But this one was amazing, really.

But then if all the press and paparazzi figured out that Natsu and Lucy exchanged a little 'kiss', the magazines would go berserk. And, Lucy could already imagine the loads of gossip and rumors spreading throughout the country, and there were already rumors about her and Natsu having a little 'spark' or whatever. She didn't want to encourage the paparazzi into knowing they were right all along. How embarrassing would that be? It's been hard trying to blend in recently, too.

Lucy sighed and shrugged all of her thoughts away.

As she pulled on a white sweater over her head, she looked outside the window — the sky was choked with gray clouds. Maybe it would rain later. It looked like it would, anyway. She sighed as she removed her pajama pants and tugged on skinny jeans. Lucy grabbed her phone as she pulled her socks on, dialing Levy's number. On the third ring, Levy picked up. "... Hello?"

"Morning, Levy-chan!" Lucy giggles cheerfully. "Up and ready?"

She heard Levy groan on the other side of the phone. "Ugh... do we really have to get up this early?" Lucy's eyes trailed over to the clock, which read 6:00 AM. She smiled to herself as she now stared at her feet (donning two pink socks) and tugged on her boots, still all smiles. "Of course, Levy-chan! Why aren't you out of bed yet? You're supposed to be getting ready!"

"Mmrph." Levy says. "I don't regret staying up till 2 AM reading."

"You should, considering we have something new to FILM!" Lucy laughed. She looked at her reflection in the mirror, and did her usual side ponytail hairstyle. "Come on, Levy-chan. Get ready! I have something I need to tell you that's really important." At this, Lucy could imagine Levy's expression light up. She couldn't tell what Levy was doing, but Lucy heard a crash and a loud thud, and then the sound of a phone being picked up again.

"YOU WHAT? Sorry, I just dropped my phone! And tell me!"

"Sure... later!" Lucy giggled.

"WHAT? LU — "

But Lucy already had hung up, grinning maliciously. She grabbed her handbag, placing her phone inside it, and ignored Levy, who had already started calling her back. But that could wait... it's much better to tell things that happened in person, anyway. It's one of the ways that Lucy likes to communicate through. And it's much more fun, also. She bent down to give her dog Plue a good petting, and then hummed a tune as she left her place, swinging her bag nonchalantly.

As she enters the studio, she notices that almost everyone's there already.

At the corner of her eye, she glimpses Sting talking with Erza, the two of them are in deep conversation. They seemed to be talking about the design plan, for there was a large paper smoothed out in front of the two. As the blonde passes by, she waves a hello to the both of them, and in return Sting grins as Erza smiles and waves a greeting back. Lucy notices as there are many people working on the many props that the movie would most likely need, and she smiles as she realizes that her plan is going into action.

All of this set-up is because of her anyway... isn't it?

It's still hard for her to process, because it seems like it was just yesterday when she was promoted to being an actress. Her time here in Fairy Tail seemed to go by very quickly, and before she knew it, she's kissed Natsu, befriended so many other people here, and she's done much more things that will for sure probably stick out in her memories. She doesn't realize how much she enjoys hanging out with everybody from Fairy Tail, even if the studio isn't making as much money as it's used to.

But it's extremely fun. Her whole experience here is fun, and personally to her, that's all that matters.

Lucy's just about to head to the green screen when she accidentally bumps into someone. Slightly surprised, she whirls around to voice an apology — when she realizes that she's bumped into Natsu. He looks equally as surprised as she is — both of their eyes widened profusely. He's still wearing that white scaly scarf (that it seems like he doesn't ever want to take off), but he's not dressed in any kind of costume, yet.

He's just wearing a simple gray hoodie, with matching black jeans and sneakers. It's funny because it doesn't seem like he's a world-famous actor, judging by his clothing. But everyone in the studio seemed to be pretty down-to-earth when it came for their careers, which is good. Lucy knows that all of them, even Gajeel (who's piercings and interesting singing sometimes scare her), are all good at heart. And it's really satisfying.

It's a pity that the magazines say otherwise, but then again it's basically the all of the actors' faults for attacking the paparazzi occasionally.

Anyway, back to the present.

Now Lucy's blushing, and she can't seem to make eye contact with him (he knows she likes him, for goodness sakes) — but sometimes, it's very hard to maintain eye contact with Natsu, reason one because you can't tell what he's thinking. Reason two, sometimes it's a little bit unsettling. It feels like he's reading you, or something like that. But other times, Lucy finds his gaze comforting. She finds his expressions almost protective-like, to be honest. It was a good trait of Natsu, or for anyone in general to have. He's always had a knack for being the one protecting. Lucy sometimes feels like she's one of the people being protected.

It's a nice feeling, actually.

He's staring at her back, now. Both of them aren't saying a word, Lucy's the one frantically going through her memories and recalling the kiss that had happened just yesterday. But maybe Natsu's going through it again, too. She's not sure if he is, but something tells her that she's right. She sees a hint of a blush on his cheeks. Then Natsu bites his lip nervously, and nods a greeting. On the other hand, Lucy is red-faced and looking at his shoes instead. When she looks up again, he's gone; having slowly walked away.

Nothing but relief washes through her system.

She admits that she's kind of disappointed that there wasn't quite a reaction, but on the inside, she's also very happy that she doesn't have to deal with the awkwardness. Lucy sighs, and pats her cheeks. Maybe they'd find a way to settle it out, later. Lucy's about to turn back towards where Sting and Erza are when she whirls around to face Levy, who's breathing heavily and clutching her arm intently.

"Lu-chan." Levy just says, as she glares up at Lucy.

Honestly. Sometimes even Levy, who's one of the kindest people she knows, can look as scary as Erza herself. Nevertheless, the blonde chuckles and brushes a blonde strand of hair away from her face, grinning. "Hey, Levy! Did you get here just now?" She asks, blinking down at her friend, who sighs and relaxes.

"Yeah." She answers. "And you have something you need to tell me, don't you? Spit it out."

"Jeez. You're too pushy."

"It has something to do with Natsu, doesn't it?"

At the sound of his name, Lucy's probably turned at least five different shades of red all at the same time. Unfortunately because of this, she's not that good in hiding a secret, so she just blushes and nods as Levy clicks her tongue in approval. But then, Levy grabs her shoulders. "So? What happened? You owe me an explanation!" She says, glaring at Lucy intently, but it's much friendlier now.

"U-uh... We may or may not have kissed yesterday after everybody left."

It takes a while for Levy to comprehend this. "Wait. What?"

At this point, Lucy can't maintain eye contact with Levy anymore, so she looks over to see what Wendy and Romeo are doing; apparently setting up props. However, her face is still beet red, and when she looks back at Levy, Levy chooses to scream extremely loudly — almost attracting everybody in the studio's attention. "HAHAAA! I KNEW IT!" Now extremely embarrassed, Lucy shuts her friend's mouth as Erza walks over, confused.

"Is anything the matter?" the redhead asks.

A hand still secure on Levy's mouth, Lucy does her best to grin and give Erza a thumbs up. "Yeah! I mean, no. Nothing's the matter. Everything's okay." She glares at Levy, who raises an eyebrow in response. Then she smiles back at Erza, who's pursing her lips.

"Either way, Lucy, you still have to work on that script you're planning, right?"

Lucy freezes. She's completely forgotten. "Oh, right. Thanks for reminding me."

"It's not like you to forget things easily." Erza says curiously. Then she lowers her voice, and comes closer. "Tell me what happened with Natsu later, okay?" At this, Lucy now continues on furiously blushing — did Levy really say it that loud? The thought of several people knowing this happened made her want to sink into the floor and die. But the blonde nods, and Erza returns back to talking with Sting, who looks completely baffled. Lucy sheepishly grins at him, and he shrugs in response. Then she removes her hand from Levy's mouth, and glares at her.

Levy sticks out her tongue in response, and although Lucy's extremely exasperated, she smiles.

"Seems like someone got worried." She mutters back, glancing nonchalantly to over where Gajeel was located. Apparently he too had heard Levy's scream, and was now looking over in this direction, frowning and his arms crossed. After seeing that scene, Levy blushes, and abruptly turns away as Lucy waves a greeting to the heavily pierced teen, who grunts and looks away, choosing to glance at his cat Pantherlily, who was rubbing himself on a prop. Lucy finds this hilarious, and she smirks.

As Levy eventually leaves to work on the things she's assigned on (but not after winking at Lucy and giving her a thumbs up), the blonde glances over at where Natsu is located. He's with Rogue, and also with a few other people, but he's not being engaged in conversation.

His back is facing her, but she can tell his arms are crossed and that he's probably very focused (which is a first).

Lucy knows he's not looking at her, but she smiles at him.

She continues working on that script, although it takes a lot of work.

Lucy's erasing and rewriting so many times it feels like her hand is going numb. Well, her hand is numb, and it feels like it's going to fall off. But she's determined to keep writing, because the author inside of her is roaring with excitement. It's like her writing career is growing, and although Lucy has so many ideas for the script, it feels like none of them are going through that well.

Lucy writes a few more lines down (she's blown through at least ten pages of script), and then sighs and places her head between her hands. All of this is exhausting, but she can't deny that she was having fun visualize the things in the script going on in her head. She takes a swig of her bottled water Mira so thoughtfully had given her, and stands up, placing the script in her bag. Maybe she'll continue on working on it tomorrow — she still needs to finish it, and get it revised and edited. After all, it's almost three in the afternoon now, and almost time for a break.

She stops and tells Erza that if anyone needs her, she'll be outside just getting a snack at the cafè. The redhaired girl smiles at her in response, and nods. "All right then, Lucy." Erza grasps her shoulder tightly. "Good job, so far. I can't wait to see how this will soon turn out." At this, the blonde grins back — it's really nice, getting compliments from Erza. It feels like everyone here are just regular people, even though they're all famous actors.

Lucy then proceeds to leave, walking outside of the studio, and to Fairy Glitter, which was nearby, probably two or three blocks away.

The nice waitress asks her how many, and she replies just one with a smile. After she gets seated in a comfortable booth, she glances outside the window — and notices that it has just started to rain, lightly. Many people have just started to bring out umbrellas, and with a jolt Lucy realizes that she's forgotten hers. How disappointing. And her sweater doesn't have a hood, either. Oh well. It doesn't seem like it's going to get heavier (at least she hopes not, anyway).

She orders a coffee and a chocolate croissant, and takes her time staring at passengers outside.

It's not creepy. Well, to her she doesn't mean on being a weirdo as she stares at passersby, but really, she doesn't want to seem like a creepy girl looking outside of the cafè window. She just does it to see what kinds of people are walking by, like cute couples, families, happy single people, etc. It makes her smile at the thought. But of course she always ends up making awkward eye contact with someone and turns away, but not after she smiles at them.

She's happy when other people are happy. It makes her feel warm and bubbly on the inside.

Lucy smiles again at the waitress, after she provides the blonde her order. After taking a sip of her coffee, she sighs. Rainy afternoons with coffee and croissants... Those are really the things that make Lucy feel calm and peaceful. Even though she's alone, she doesn't mind. Personally, she enjoys it when she's by herself sometimes. It gives her time to think and muse over things that make her happy or sad.

A whole hour passes by before she knows it — and she's now done with her food. Feeling full and satisfied, she thanks her waitress and leaves a tip. After she leaves the cafè, she notices that the rain has gotten heavier, and before she knows it, she's kind of marooned there at Fairy Glitter, with no umbrella and nobody to take her back to the studio. She sighs, and regrets not bringing an umbrella with her.

Lucy takes a step back to go inside once more, until she hears someone call her name.

"Luce?"

Oh.

She knows it's Natsu (for he's the only one she knows that calls her 'Luce'), and sure thing, he's just there, standing in front of her, and holding an umbrella in one of his hands. His other hand is engulfed into one of his pockets, and he looks mildly surprised to see her there, waiting. Immediately, Lucy flushed. "Oh... Natsu." She said, giving him a small smile.

The situation is mildly awkward. They don't say anything for a while, and it's kind of unsettling but also kind of romantic as well. To Lucy, it reminds her of one of her favorite romance books — where there's a rainy scene, and this sort of thing just happens. It almost never fails to make Lucy swoon, and now, it's actually happening to her in real life. And honestly, she doesn't know what to feel about it (except the fact that she's blushing and refusing to look at him).

"Do you need a walk back?" Natsu then says suddenly.

"Oh — um — " Lucy then rushes. " — um, no, actually. I-I have an umbrella."

One of Natsu's eyebrows raise, and Lucy then realizes that she doesn't have an umbrella — which is pretty stupid, mind you, for if she did have one she would've been halfway back to the studio already. She blushed in embarrassment as Natsu grinned, obviously realizing her mistake as well. He shakes his head, but he's still smiling. "Well, you don't have one, I guess. Come on."

The blonde goes under the umbrella with him, furious at herself for making a stupid mistake, but also furiously blushing as her arm keeps bumping into Natsu's side, and she notices that he's completely warm as well; despite the cold rain pattering the streets gently. It's silent as they walk back, but in Lucy's mind it's completely loud and chaotic, since her heart is pounding in her chest quite violently.

"Hey, Luce. Do you want to go somewhere really quickly?" Natsu then asked. "I kind of need to ask you something."

Her heart almost stops at that. "O-Okay. Sure."

Natsu brings her to a place under a tree.

It's still raining, but Lucy doesn't mind. The two of them are unable to sit on the ground (for it's wet), so they stand together, under a tree. Unfortunately the leaves aren't enough to shelter them from the rain, so Natsu still has to hold the umbrella between them. Lucy has no idea what to expect, in all honesty. The only talk they've had today was... well, nothing.

"So..." Natsu then says. "About yesterday..."

Oh. Oh. Right.

"Yeah?" Lucy replies, timidly.

He turns around to look at her, his smile forming into a smirk. "You don't have to be so embarrassed, you know."

"I'm not embarrassed." Lucy said, feeling her face heat up again.

"Can you look at me and say that to my face again?" Natsu then teased, while Lucy socked him in the arm. "Hey, what was that for?"

"Shut up."

It's silent again, but this time it's a comfortable silence.

"Well... anyway." Natsu then spoke up again. "Was all of that, all of that when you said you liked me... (Lucy froze at this, she's completely forgotten that she confessed to him, oops) was all of that... you know, true?" He asked, his voice soft and quiet. Lucy gulped, and smiled.

She looked at him, he was looking back intensely. "...Yeah."

Natsu grins at this point, and runs his free hand through his hair. "I guess that settles it then. Both of us like each other. Not in that 'just a friend' way, right? Gray says that I don't know these things, and it's pretty stupid because I do know what love is and all that crap." He rolled his eyes, and then looked back at Lucy. "So would you like to be my girlfriend, then?"

Lucy's eyes widened. But she already knew the answer. "Of course."

All the previous tension then died away, and before she knew it, Natsu had grasped her cheeks lightly and locked their lips together, the umbrella dropping to the ground. Pretty soon they were kissing each other intently — his hands on her face and her hands on his back. After what seemed like a long time, the two of them broke apart, staring at each other's eyes. Then they both started laughing.

"Look at you, you're soaked." Natsu giggled, pointing at Lucy.

"You are too!" Lucy huffed.

As they walked back to the studio together, Lucy couldn't stop grinning.

In fact, halfway there, she felt for Natsu's hand, and once she found it, she laced her fingers into his, holding his hand. She felt him squeeze her hand back, and when she looked up at him, slightly blushing — he snuck a kiss onto her cheek, and she found herself giggling uncontrollably. Even though the two of them were soaked with rainwater, they couldn't have cared less.

Everyone in the studio either fainted or screamed when they walked in like that, hands intwined with matching goofy grins.
