Vitaly Ivanov(District 2)

I don't know how much longer I can sit here without hitting Callum, he seriously hasn't shut up since we left the suite this morning and it's getting on my nerves. I didn't think we'd be here this long though and that may be contributing to my mood but it's still mostly him.

"So Lil like I was telling Vitaly this morning just go in there and wow them. For him that will be a challenge but for someone as beautiful, smart, sexy and strong as you it should be easy."

He's laying it on extra thick for the Celtic girl today, and it seems to be driving her sister crazy. At least i'm not alone in that regard then. Why he feels the need to annoy the most dangerous member of our alliance like that is beyond me but what's bad for him could be good for me, especially if she kills him.

"So Vitaly what do you plan on showing them in there? Your stoic attitude or your amazing scowl maybe?" The fact that Callum is the only one laughing at his joke should be an indication of it's actual humor but he seems oblivious to it. Luckily i'm stopped from retorting by the tool of the intercom announcing the next tribute for their session.

"Vitaly Ivanov, District Two. Please report immediately to the training center for your individual evaluation."

I stand up and try to focus as I make my way toward the large sliding doors that separate the waiting area from the center. I vaguely hear Callum make a reference to a 'dead man walking' as go, however I quickly forget him and tune out the rest of the world as I enter the center and my date with destiny.

The room isn't near as cluttered as it has been previously as most of the stations and equipment is stacked against the far wall. A few training dummies litter the floor with signs of weapon punctures prevalent across there forms, an obvious sign of what Annika and Verity most likely showed the gamemakers.

On the near side of the room sits Head Gamemaker Celine Minos and her staff along with the trainer Tal'shia and an aid I can't place. They all seem to be quietly reviewing notes as I enter and collect myself before making my way toward them.

One of them catches sight of me and motions to the others to pay attention as Celine rises to address me.

"Welcome Mr. Ivanov, you'll have 10 minutes to present your chosen skill. Do to the excessive overtime spent by the previous tributes, this limit will be strictly enforced from this point forward. You may begin at your convenience but your time starts now."

Ok great now all I have to do is decide what to show them, i'd planned on weapons but if Annika and Verity did that it might be redundant for them. Then again i'm a career so it's probably expected of me anyway so what the hell.

I walk over to the compiled weapons and search through them before deciding on a particularly vicious looking morning star.I take a few practice swings and then head over to set up the dummies. Once I finish that I head over to the far side and set myself for the charge.

I let out a strong shout as I charge the first pair of dummies, decapitating them both with a mighty swing. I spend the next several minutes systematically destroying the assembled training aids until nothing but scrap and stuffing remain. This gets a few curt nods from the assembled gamemakers and an approving smile from Tal'shia. Celine for her part manages to look both bored and impressed at the same time, a credit to her ability to hide her emotions I figure.

"Thank you Mr. Ivanov, that will be all. When exiting use the lift on the far side of this room."

The curt dismissal completed I quickly return the weapon to it's rack and make my way to the lift. Not long after it closes I hear the intercom announce Callum's turn before i'm whisked back to my floor and the unbearable wait for the results.

Marcus Surge(District 5)

I try to hide my nerves as I enter the training center but I don't think i'm doing a very good job. In a way I envy the tributes who've already gone, at least there done with this and can relax but i'm so scared I don't know if i'll remember how to do anything.

A few days ago this would have been easy show off my climbing and hiding ability maybe even work in a few shots with a slingshot to show them I can. Now though with my ankle still throbbing from the second day I don't think I could make it through any of that without embarrassing myself.

"Mr. Surge welcome, I'm Head Gamemaker Minos. You will have 10 minutes to display your selected skill. You may begin at your leisure but your time starts now."

Well that complicates things just a bit I was hoping to have more time but i'll have to make do and think of something to show them fast. I hobble over to the collection of stations and try to find something I can do even half way well to show them before settling for the traps I worked on with Caspian.

"This could work, as long as I don't screw it up royal like. I hope I can remember what Caspian taught me the first day, if not this could be bad."

I make my way over to the center of the floor and begin to tie the simple knots that make up the foundation of my trap. It seems to be going well at first and a few of the people watching even seem to be impressed, maybe I can pull off a good score bad leg and all. However I start to run into trouble when I need to make the leg hold portion of the trap, I just can't seem to get the looping down right and it won't stay connected.

At this point the former whispers of approval have turned become ones mild annoyance for most and outright disgust for a couple, the head game maker among them.

"Come on Marcus pull it together or you're going to blow it."

I spend the next few minutes trying to figure out where I messed up and correct it. However by the time I fix the problem i'm almost out of time and have to rush to finish. I manage to get it done just under the wire but don't have a chance to show them it works before i'm being ushered off to the side and told to head up to my floor and wait for the results show.

I comply but can't help feeling that I blew it in there. No sooner has the door on the life shut then I brake down and burst into tears most of them out of frustration but a healthy dose out of fear. I may have just signed my death warrant with that showing and I have no idea how to undo it or if I even can. I have a feeling that it's going to be a very painful wait for the results.

Liana 'Lia' Meri(District 8)

I put on my bravest face as I enter the training room and head over to the assembled watchers for my session. I'm honestly a little queasy nothing I've studied prepared me for the dread and uncertainty of this moment. Put me in almost any arena imaginable and i'll be fine but this, the uncertainty of it all is a little unsettling. Stella and Violet told me to approach it the same as training but there I could blend in with the crowd when I was uncertain or scared, now it's just me and the people who control my fate.

"Good afternoon Ms. Meri. As you are no doubt aware i'm Celine Minos the head gamemaker. You will have 10 minutes to show us your chosen skill. You can start whenever but your time starts now so plan accordingly."

Wow this women is an ice cube, no emotion in her voice or face. Then again i'm the 16th tribute she's seen and there are still 8 to go, I might be a little bored by now too.

I walk over to the training mat and take off my shoes before doing a couple quick stretches while I try to decide what to do. After a moment it dawns on me and I confidently approach the Celine again.

"Excuse me Ms. Minos?"

"What?!"

"Could I have a partner please? My skill is best displayed with two live subjects rather than one and a dummy."

"Fine, Baylon assist the tribute. However if you hurt him there will be repercussions, remember that." A giant of a man almost a foot taller then me walks out from the group and quietly removes his shoes before motioning me to lead the way as he falls in step behind me.

Great so now I'm working with a giant and I can go hard but not full force. I may have been better off with the dummy but it's too late to back out. Doing so would only show weakness and I don't have the time to set them up anyways.

I start out with a few basic holds, wrist locks, reversals, and throws to warm up and show I know my way around a fighting mat. Then I decide to kick it up a bit and go for a big show. I take Baylon by the wrist, instep onto his foot while driving my elbow into his solar plexus. With the wind knocked out of him I spin around and drop down pulling the much larger man onto my shoulder before driving him into the mat at full speed. He lands with a loud and resounding thud which is followed by a string of curse words the likes of which I've only heard mention of.

He rolls himself over and glares at me with a fiery hatred I didn't expect to see before the arena. He makes a motion to come after me but is stopped cold by Tal'shia.

"I'd rethink that if I were you Baylon. Celine wasn't only talking to her when she said to be careful. How do you think Tyranna would react if she heard you hurt a tribute so close to the games? I'd imagine she's be none to pleased so maybe you save your anger and work it out like a big boy later."

His glare is still present but he does relent and head back toward the waiting group. I take a moment to collect myself before slipping back into my shoes and heading over that way as well. After a second or two of talking Celine stands up and quickly addresses me.

"That was quite the show thank you Liana. Your are dismissed, use the lift on the far side and return immediately to your floor no detours or delays, we've had one like that already and I won't have it happen again. The result show Will start as hour after the last tribute finishes up."

"With her dismissal clear I quickly make my way to the lift and repeatedly press the '8' button until it closes and whips me up toward the floor.

At this point I'm just glad it's over. It could have been better but all things considered it could have been much worse. Now all I have to do is wait to see how I stack up and hope for the best.

Gigi-Lauren Evans(District 9)

This is it, my moment of truth. Do I stick to my plan to be an inconspicuous tribute or do I take a chance and aim for some sponsors with a high score? So far I've done a pretty good job of it not even Athenia knows the true depth of my skills and that's just the way I wanted it, but i'm starting to have second thoughts. Even with the two of us the chances of getting real sponsor help is slim unless I make a major impression. Athenia could have been holding back too but I doubt it, she just doesn't rub me as a facetious type of person.

"Gigi-Lauren Evans District Nine, report for individual assessment."

I steady my nerves and start to make my way toward the imposing doors that 17 other tributes had walked through already, knowing full well that my chances of winning may very well hinge on the impression I make in the next few minutes.

As I walk through the doors the first thing I notice is the mess the previous tributes have left, it's not terrible but I did expect the sessions to have a bit more neatness to it. The second is the expression of total boredom on the faces of most of the gamemakers, if they're already this far gone I might have to pull out all the stops just to get a decent score.

"Hello Ms. Evans i'm the Head Gamemaker and as you can see most of us are ready to be done here so i'll keep this short. You have 10 minutes to wow us, your time starts now."

Well this is starting off as bad as I feared, if she has no interest then I might as well just not try at all. Why waste the time if the boss doesn't even care how I do? Quitting would be a certain death sentence however so I need to do something, but the question is what.

After a moment surveying the stations I decide on first aid and quickly grab the dummy and a field aid kit. I set the dummy in the observation circle and quickly go about giving it a few serious though non life threatening injuries. A cracked rib, a broken leg, and a sword gash across the back before settling in to work.

I set the leg with a hastily made splint before applying pressure to the back wound, this is made more difficult by having to avoid the area where the rib would be protruding out of the patient in real life. After I finish with those I do my best to recall how to deal with the rib injury but run out of time before I can successfully do so.

"Thank you Ms. Evans. Use the lift on the far side and return immediately to your assigned floor. The results show will begin once the remaining tributes have finished their evaluation."

I take a quick bow and make my way quickly to the lift. In no time i'm zipping up toward the floor marked 9 with nothing but time to think about my performance. All in all it wasn't a bad job, and it definitely won't make me a target not in the beginning at least. I'm worried though that it may have been too conservative, the kind of bland job that could but me square in the no chance zone once we start.

I quickly push the thought from my mind as the door opens and I step out into the suite I share with the escort and the others from my district. All of them are assembled on the couch talking to a visibly distressed Athenia. whatever happened must have been bad, which only serves to heighten my own uneasy about the session. Again I force it from my mind and plaster a huge grin on my face as I take a seat near Oatis and settle in for the wait.

Nox Reyne(District 10)

FINALLY! It feels like I sat in that room for hours waiting for my turn, then when it finally came I almost missed it because I was asleep in my chair. A quick tap from Rudra sent me sprawling but got me up and into the room for my evaluation.

After my performance though I may have been better off skipping it altogether. It wasn't bad per say but I get the feeling that nothing I did would have impressed the assembled onlookers in any memorable way. By the time I finished I was just happy to get out of there without snapping on them to pay attention. I mean it's my life on the line the least they could do is pretend to care what I did.

As I exit the lift onto the district ten suite floor i'm immediately assaulted by the smell of food and an angry gurgle in my gut that reminds me it's far past time to eat something. I eagerly fill my plate with what I believe is sushi of some kind and take a seat at the far end of the table. My mentor Paige is chatting away with our escort Sparkle, so I do my best to stay quiet and out of the way.

After a few minutes Paige excuses herself from the conversation and comes over to sit with me. Well here it is the moment where I tell my mentor that I totally blew the evaluation, that i'm a lost cause, and that I failed miserably despite being a volunteer.

"So did you hear what happened with Scythe in the evaluation room?"

"No, why was it bad?"

"It depends on how you judge bad, though I can safely say it wasn't good."

"What did he do?"

"If they didn't tell you then neither will I. Suffice it to say he'll be in his room for the rest of the day and isn't to be left alone with you until the games start."

Well now i'm intrigued but I can tell she won't give me any more so I let it rest and return to eating my food. The taste is strange and the texture makes me want to hurl but i'm so hungry at this point i'd eat almost anything. I sit in silence for a while as Paige heads off to find Wren and discuss ways to salvage the mess that Scythe made of his evaluation, or so she says. Personally I think she's just looking for someone a bit less introverted to talk to but calling her out on it would serve no purpose. Especially since i'll need her help in a couple days if I want to survive.

Having eaten my fill I make my way over to the couch and sit, no sense in wasting time once the show starts I guess. Before long however i'm fighting off the sleep threatening to overtake me as I sink deeper into the comfort of the plush 's a losing position for me and before long I slip into a shallow and fitful slumber, only to be awoken a few minutes later by the return of my mentors now with the stylists in two.

Paige checks her watch before plopping down next to me and eagerly switching on the TV. A few seconds later were treated to the broadcast alert announcing the beginning of the show. In a few minutes the score that is inescapably tied to my chance of survival will be national tv, I just hope it's good enough to give me a chance.

"Good evening Panem, i'm Caesar Flickerman your Master of Ceremonies and this is you 100th Annual Hunger Games score show. Today I am pleased to have with me Head GameMaker Celine Minos who will be providing some commentary on the scores she and her staff gave out. I know you're all just as excited as I am so lets get to it shall we?"

A/N: Well here is the Individual Evaluation chapter and I hope it was worth the wait. As You can see I added a POV this chapter and it was done so because of how I decided to write the scoring chapter. I decided to do a little exchange with Caesar and Celine instead of tribute pov's with the scores mixed in. As a result I cut 2 pov's from that chapter and moved one here and the other to the interview chapter. I think it's a great change up from what I've seen in the past and I hope it works for all of you.

So now for a few questions :D

What did you think of the chapter?

Any predictions for scores for the 4 tributes we saw?

Any predictions for the other tributes based on their earlier pov's?

What would you like me to work on to make the story better going forward?

I hope to have the next chapter up by Saturday and from there i'll be down to 1 update a week due to my work schedule going from 4 ten hour days to 5 starting next week so I won't have All day Friday to write for a while. Anyway I hope you all enjoyed the chapter and i look forward to seeing you all again at the next update :D
